I’d love to try and shop here but it’s truly closed every time I’ve visited. Hours are different from what’s posted online, and there aren’t any signs on the door explaining when they’ll actually open… I can understand being closed on Sundays and maybe even Mondays, but today is Wednesday and I tried at 10:05 am… doors locked lights off… call and no answer… it’s frustrating seeing every item that I need inside with no real clarity on when a customer would have access to them. Starting to think they just haven’t been open this entire week. Owners: please be clear on opening and closing times!
I just LOVE coming into a clean store and being greeted as soon as I walk in. The lady at the front was extremely helpful with helping me find natural oils for my hair. I really appreciate the time she took to explain to me about the different products. I plan on telling everyone I know about this wonderful little gem I found.
A great location and great serviceA one stop shop beauty supply store
Let me just say that this beauty supply store is sooooo cute. This was my first time going there. It is a bit small but everything you need can definitely be found here. I went in to buy some braiding hair but the prices were a little higher than I expected (I’m broke so everything is expensive to me😅) so I purchased some water wave hair as well as some mousse. I was greeted upon arrival and was also told to have a great day which really brightened my mood. Definitely check it out and I’ll definitely be coming back !
Everytime I go into Beauty Talks the environment is always clean and organized. The people who work there are always professional and let me know about their products and services that they have to offer. And most importantly its Black Owned. Beauty Talks has everything I need to maintain my natural hair. I will continue to shop here and support our local businesses.
Said it was open Saturday til 6pm on the google page. Front door said open til 8. I get there... 5 mins ago, ( its 4pm) not open. Another lady walks up behind me and says every time I come theyre not open. And its different than what it says online. Fix your hours or say youre closed. DONT GO HERE, THEYLL PROBABLY BE CLOSED WHEN THEY SAY THEYRE OPEN. You should just call first, but I am not going back. And in response to your reply, Beauty Talks: your store was NOT open.. the doors were LOCKED ... The lights were all off.. myself and another woman standing there waiting and looking in the windows... The sign on the door said you were open but you were not. I called while waiting there.. no answer. If you were indeed open as you say and had people inside your store, why did no one let us in when we were looking through the window of an empty store with its door locked???
I bought the wrong hair dye and I was not allowed to return it even 5 minutes after walking out. She has no return policy listed anywhere I don’t see why she couldn’t give me my money back.
Ok let me say that beauty talks is not just a beauty supply store they do hair and also full body wax services OMG!!! I did my first Brazilan with Courtney and she made me feel so comfortable it’s Avery clean environment she gave me proper care instructions before and after very professional love her bubbly personality see you in 4 to 6wks! Courtney thank you so much
Both Courtney and the owner are delightful people. Theyre extremely helpful and always make it a great experience.
Excellent knowledge of the merchandise and supplies they. carry. Such a warm atmosphere
While I wasnt able to find what I needed, the owner, Katrese (sp?) was great. She apologized for not having the color I was looking for and we sparked up a great conversation. I dont find that with too many black owned shops and for that, Im coming back to shop for things that I do need soon.
Nice place. Felt welcome
