Busy but pharmacy staff were very helpful (and nice). They knew many customers by name and were very patient and explained things well. I liked the drive thru option as well, will need to try it next time. The store was clean, well stocked and well lit. With the large trees along the road, the building is difficult to see, once you get around to the parking lot, the entrance is on the south west corner.
They are so overworked they have lost any and all personal attentiveness to the customer. Called in refill info day before pickup and still waited Not sure how convenient that procedure really is.
This review is for the Pharmacy only. I rarely give a one star review. Ive lived in Birkdale and used this Walgreens pharmacy for 2 years. The entire time I have lived here it has been the worst experience Ive had in all my adulting years. Monthly Rxs not being ready efficiently. Use the app they said. It will be easier they said. When I send in a refill per the app I also end up needing to call because the Rx isnt ready on time. When the doctor calls in a one-time prescription it usually takes them over 24 hours to get it filled. This has happened multiple times for different members of our family. Its only gotten worse during the Pandemic. We use it because of the convenience of the location which must be what everybody does. Theres rarely a time where I dont have to wait for 20 or more minutes whether I go inside or Im in the drive-thru. Moving soon from this area and this is definitely one thing I will not miss.
Dont even care if I sound like a Karen. I called my meds in yesterday, told would be ready yesterday. These are literally the meds that make it where I sleep otherwise I get zero sleep. So you can imagine how angry I was to drive 30 minutes, wait about 10 minutes for the person to when find me in their system all to be told it wont be ready for hours..... Seriously....I work tomorrow and really looking forward to no sleep tonight. Please do your job.
If its Urgent & you need your prescription filled the very same day and you DO NOT CARE if they have it ready...then THIS is the Pharmacy for you! Unfilled, no call or text, closed Pharma without filling Prescription. Will not use again.UPDATE: Called 6x next day. Said Pharmacist was working on it. FINALLY at 4:25 pm Drove to Walgreens at Birkdale & Hwy 73, picked up UNFILLED Prescription & Driving to CVS at 73 & 115 to get Prescription filled. WGrns Never Called. Will never use them again! Sorry! You lost a customer.
The customer service was awful. The lady working in photo was NOT apologetic and sympathetic that an order we had for this store was not completed as the email stated. Very disappointed and will encourage others to not visit this Walgreens.
I had a major stroke .my memory is very bad .the pharmacy always calls me and helps me remember everything. AMAZING TEAM
This pharmacy is a complete disaster regarding the COVID 19 vaccine. I was here for over 1.5 hours for BOTH vaccines when I had an appointment. Go somewhere else if you can. A completely frustrating situation
Had an awful experience with Jenna who when refunding my returned merchandise didn’t bother to perform a price check and ended up refunding me half of what I was owed. When I mentioned this to her, she got a bad attitude and blamed her error on the fact I didn’t have a receipt.Fact is, receipt or not, don’t be lazy and price check the returned merchandise and refund your customer the appropriate amount. Additionally, don’t use other supervisors badges when performing such transactions. You’re suppose to use your own.On a positive note, all the other workers are incredibly pleasant and helpful so would like to thank them for their service. Just one bad grape who has spoiled the bunch.
Not everyone wants to download every app for stores. Nothing is mark with prices.no sale paper available.
Switched over to this pharmacy and they have given me the wrong medication 2 times for the same prescription in the past 2 days. After I told them the first time it was wrong they said they would order what I needed and to pick it up the next day, so I did and it was the exact same thing as the medication I told them that was wrong!! Changing back to my old pharmacy, I don’t care if I have to drive farther it’s worth it.
Misa is great. Also, a cashier helped me to find a good coupon when I lost my own. Very great service.
Went in 2 hours before closing to a skeleton crew. Photo computer wasnt working, and after waiting for almost 10 minutes for help, the manager told me to restart the machine and that it would only take a couple of minutes. I waited 20 minutes and it was still trying to come on, and never heard from the manager again, so I got up and left. Employees were great, but I clearly wasnt very important to the manager. I wont be back.
The hours clearly say open until 12 on Friday and Saturday and they even say that when you call the store, but twice now I have gone there and they were closed!!-
Great, fast, and really nice staff. Same as my experience with all Walgreens stores.
They kicked me out for having a bag. I wanted to buy something.
Store manager was very helpful and a delight.
They are suppose to be open until midnight. Went there at 11pm and they were closed, on a non-holiday Friday night.
Good neighborhood pharmacy and shopping store
Just go to CVS. Terrible service, dirty floors, lackluster stock. Never returning.
Very helpful and caring.
Too many Wandas
Horrible experienceYesterday I went to the store and how they changed products I could not find the diaper stand I asked the lady who was there and I did not understand what he was saying in English and with all the cynicism she sent me to the toys to look forA blond boy helped me with my predicament my daughter needed the diaper urgently.Horrible experience
