I’ve been coming here for about 6 months and Ya Wanda is by far the best wax specialist! She is professional, remembers details about you and makes you feel like a celebrity lol Wanda does my Brazilian & legs ! I highly recommend her ! Wax specialist Jamie did my arms and is also great ! These are the ONLY TWO ladies I will go to due to a horrible experience with another wax specialist.

This place is always timely and impeccably clean. The front desk staff is hit and miss though. Some times they are great and some times they are fantastic. This has been discussed with management and I really do think they are making improvements. The new staff I think just has some training to get through but give them time.

I actually use to work at EWC and I know it can be tough to find a great waxer. I have seen Jamie and Seqouia for my Brazilian and they’re both great! Little to no pain, and fast! Book with either of them, you won’t regret it!

Sydney was my wax specialist this evening for a full leg and did a fantastic job! She was professional, thorough, informative, and held great conversation! I also very much appreciated her educating me on the new products at the end of the service and providing me with samples to try for at home. I forward to seeing her again in the future!

I purchased a package here at the huntersville location, paid the package in full. A couple of days after my last visit I got a charge on my account for 88 dollars, then another a week later for another 88 dollars. When I called to see what the issue was I was told there was no record of my last visit and they don’t understand why I’m getting these charges being that my account was paid in full. This was on a Saturday I was told to send screenshots of the transactions which I did.I sent them to the manager and she would email the GM and I would here back by Wednesday. So here it is Friday I call the location again and still nobody knows anything.

This place was fast and efficient. I will say for my first time vs. What I had experienced before at salons or spas, it was a tad cold, nothing fancy or fluffy about it. They got the job done and I am happy with my results.

Went here for my very first Brazilian, and it was absolutely amazing!It was very comfortable, all the ladies were professional and nice, and it was super fast! Already booked my second appointment, and will DEFINITELY be telling my friends to come here

The ladies at every European Wax location is very friendly and provides a great service. I’m always pleased with the performance of the hair removal. I’ve been dedicated to them for many years now. Their package plans are awesome.

I showed up to my appointment early & checked in, because of COVID i had to wait in car & they messaged me when ready w/ no long wait!! Wanda was very nice, professional & communicative, no hairs or uncomfortable stubble left behind & she paid attention. I receive a few small free samples, the front desk receptionist were very educated & respectful, that i am excited to try. All together i loved my visit, & this is my first time ever getting a wax (brazilian)!

The ladies at this facility are great! The cleaning procedures are top notch. They do everything they can to help prevent covid spread. Wanda is A+++++++!! She always takes her time and makes me feel comfortable during my service! If you visit ask for her shes AWESOME!

Elizabeth did my Brazilian and she did a great job! She explained every step of the process. My entire experience was phenomenal. This was not my first Brazilian wax but it was my first time at this establishment. They have just earned a faithful customer!!!

Honestly, Since Morgan started working there, I have had the BEST wax experience ever. I have been religiously going here for over a year, even driving 30 minutes out of my way to travel to them because I appreciated her so much. I have recently come to find that there is a policy that they have implemented that allows them to keep your money, no matter your situation. I moved 4.5 hours away and there is not another EWC close to me. The nearest location is 1.5 hours away. I called, explained my sudden and unexpected move to the manager and was told that policy is they give store credit for the product and that upper management would make the final decision, but that I shouldn’t be concerned because that was definitely a circumstance that was out of my control and warranted a refund. Mind you I’m not asking for a refund on something I’ve used, I bought a wax package in December, very much intending on using it, but things changed suddenly and store credit at a place that is no where near me would not be useful at all. I’ve been in contact with them since May of this year and have gotten the run around every single time I have called (probably near 15 times at the request of front desk ladies who keep telling me the manager is not there). No one has even bothered to call me back with a “final decision”. To me, when a customer has a circumstance like this, it would be an exception, when your POLICY allows you to keep a customers money for services unused, it is time to change it. I understand that some just will want refunds for no reason, but I’ve offered to show a copy of my lease, bills from my new residence, anything to prove that I’m not just out for a refund for no reason. For a company to behave in this manner is outrageous. Before this happened, I was fully intent on using them if I ever moved back in the area but now this has left a bad taste in my mouth. I would take my money and business elsewhere.

I was going to find another location or wax center after my three most recent waxers were no longer with the company. I recently saw Charlie, she definitely changed my mind. I came close to closing time and she was kind and provided all services that I needed. I appreciate her, and will continue to be a customer because of her great service.

Its clean and orderly but Ive been there twice and have gone to two different people and didnt really like my eyebrows either time although the second person was better than the first. Both were friendly and professional, though. When I asked after the first visit to speak to a manager because I was dissatisfied, they took my name and number and no one ever contacted me. I went back a second time because it was an emergency.

Had uneven eyebrows, my left one was slimmer than my right. It was very noticeable that I had to go get them fixed elsewhere. I was highly dissatisfied with my experience and will never return.

Best wax. Always the right temp. Excellent staff. Easy to make appointments. Waxing services here are often cheaper than major salons and you get great results especially shaping / hair contouring. Must buy a wax pass to save even more cause youll come back.

I have no idea why I keep giving this place the benefit of the doubt. They behave incredibly unprofessional. Nichole was incredibly rude no regard for the fact that she is providing a service and I am a paying customer. This will definitely be my absolute last attempt to come to this place. I leave for Miami in the morning and walked out of my appt now looking for another place. I suggest you do too

Super friendly and professional. I am very happy walking out but did not inspect the wax until I got home. I have several long hairs left that must have been missed by the wax, I also have small strip areas that still have the full hair on it. I wasnt expecting to walk out with out a hair or two that got away but this is going to require me to sit down and pluck in order to ensure all the long strands are missing.

Sandi does my eyebrows perfectly the way I want them done. Loves doing eyebrows and is a gem I found. Better than any other person or place I have experienced.

They did not do a thorough job whatsoever. Left both times (saw two different technicians) having to go home and tweeze. In my experience, they speed through services and do not focus on quality.

Awful experience. The customer service is laughable and the woman doing my wax had no idea what she was doing. I was burned and my sister left with the worst eyebrow wax ever. Had to go home and pluck again. But hey at least she wasn’t burned! What’s worse is I emailed twice to discuss the matter and no one ever reached out.Additional note: In response to the businesses comment below I attempted to reach out again. I called twice and after waiting for 3 and then 5 minutes on hold I finally hung up. I also sent yet another email directly to the local business to no avail!

First time at EWC and it was an amazing experience. I usually have a couple different places I go, but they were booked up with limited availability. Earlier today I called for an appointment and to my surprise had something this evening!! I love the atmosphere, the decor, the cleanliness, and the staff. I was greeted immediately with a smile. Charnell was amazing with the services she provided and Ashley has such a great personality and helped complete my transaction at the end. I was even given some awesome goodies. I will definitely be back. I would recommend this location. For convenience, availability, and their pricing isnt super amazing for the quality of service.

I had a horrible experience at the Huntersville, NC, location. The wax placed on my eye was so hot that it burned my skin, and dripped down into my eye...covering my eyelashes..and went up into the meat of my eyebrow. I spent 30 minutes with another aesthetician, who had to use the chemical solvent they use to clean their wax pots to get the wax out without costing me the brow and eyelashes. I have politely worked my way up through 2 managers, and am being told they will not give me a refund for the last few visits I have left on a package. I have been unable to reach anyone above the Regional Manager so far. VERY frustrating!

Honestly when I moved from Brooklyn I was ecstatic to find a EWC here near me. Its annoying to drive to but overall very clean. I liked every waxer Ive ever had but the customer service is A JOKE. Ive tried to reach out to corporate and never heard back. Their late policy is ridiculous--9 minutes. I arrived due to traffic 10 minutes late and they denied my appointment. No one was there. Today I had an emergency and called to cancel- tried for over an hour. AN HOUR ON HOLD AND NO ONE PICKED UP. Ive left 4 messages and no one returned my call. I will take my business elsewhere even if I have to travel an hour.

Ask for Ashlee if shes available! Brilliant, outgoing, attentive and so very professional. If you have any confusion regarding passes (such a convenience), the manager will [personally] go out of her way to make certain that you are completely satisfied.

Not all hairs were zapped

There scheduling hours are horrible. I really love Charnell, but the scheduling and communication is a zero! I keep going back for Charnell. Management really needs to step it up. They claim new office hours are until 9, they set my appointment up last night for today at 8:30 and when I arrived at 8:27, lights off and doors locked. I did not get any email text or voicemail saying they needed to change my appointment! So distasteful!!!!!!

I have been going to this place for five years. The aestheticians that I have had have always been incredibly nice and very professional. That said, Ill start by saying Ive had about six aestheticians because every time I go back somebody has quit. Ive waited in the waiting room for as long as 30 minutes past my appointment time yet the one time that I was running 5 minutes late because I got stuck in traffic I asked if I could still make my appointment and the girl was incredibly rude to me on the phone and told me I would have to hurry up. The customer service at the front desk has always been less than pleasant, but today was it. Apparently my aesthetician was sick and the girl at the desk told me she called in very early to let them know she wasnt coming. I got there 8 minutes after they opened to hear the girl on the phone confirming peoples appointments for the next day, yet nobody bothered to call me as soon as they got in and tell me that I had nobody to do my waxing for me. She said I could hang out for a while if I wanted to or reschedule, but since Im going on vacation tomorrow i had things to do to get ready and that didnt work for me. Ill just do it myself and I will not be going back there ever again even though I still have two or three appointments from the package that I purchased.

UPDATE: After the below experience, the manager Allie was very diligent about reaching out to me to correct the situation. She was very apologetic and committed to keeping my business. She succeeded - I went back with a different technician and had a great experience (full bikini wax), at no charge. She also credited my account with the amount that I was overcharged previously. She is doing a good job and seems very committed to making sure each customer feels valued, and has a great experience at this location. I was overall very pleased with her way of correcting the previous experience.Beware of additional charges without consent! I have been coming here for 2 years and have always had a great experience. Last week I made an appointment online for a full bikini wax with Alexandra. It was my first time seeing her, because the other girls I had seen all left. She was extremely nice and we chatted the entire time. As she was finishing, she told me to put my legs up and I wondered if maybe I had mistakenly booked a brazilian instead of the full bikini, because you normally dont put your legs up with the full bikini. Alex did not say anything about it - she never asked if I wanted to change the service or add anything on, so I just got dressed and went to pay. Imagine my surprise when I was told it would be $60.00 instead of the $43 for my requested full bikini wax. I asked Brooke at the front desk if they raised their prices. She looked at my receipt and said it looks like Alex had you in for a full bikini and then add the butt strip. I was very surprised at this but did not want to cause a scene so I paid and left a generous tip. When I got home I went back to my online reservation to see if maybe I had mistakenly added the butt strip service when I did it but NO, my reservation was simply for a full bikini wax. Also, it makes ZERO sense to do a full bikini and then add the butt strip when its cheaper to just do a brazilian! I called the store and spoke to Brooke, telling her that I am not sure why I got charged for additional services, especially when I had no idea Alex was adding it on. She never asked me, mentioned it, NOTHING. I very politely told Brooke I was upset about this and its not right. She told me that her manager was coming in that afternoon and she would have her call me to correct the situation. I was more than willing to talk to the manager and keep coming here if she could make the situation right. But its now been 4 days and the manager still has not called me. Which is why Im writing this review and will never go back to this business. There are plenty of other places to get a wax without getting upcharged without my consent. Disappointing experience, and horrible customer service.

HORRIBLE customer service! I have been trying to contact the manager as well as the franchisee of this location for months with no response. During my last visit my skin was torn and the waxer allowed me to leave without making me aware of this (knowing she obviously saw the 2 inch tear and blood). I didnt notice until I made it home, and I immediately called asking for the waxer and manager. For weeks I left messages for the manager who I was told either was not there or was in interviews. The rude front desk employee once told me that I could not have left a message for the manager because she did not recall taking my message. I then contacted the EWC Customer Service to attempt to speak with someone on the corporate level, and I was told that because this location is a franchise they could not get involved. I left multiple messages with them to have the owner contact me and they still have never reached out. The fact that they dont value their customers enough to pick up the phone and return a call says a lot. And for corporate to not get involved when this franchisee and their staff is representing their buisiness in a negative light is also very sad.

The ladies there are super nice, I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Terrible wax experience. I have gone a few times, I thought maybe the first time the esthetician was just very new or inexperienced, it was very painful and she left so so much hair I was shocked. I went back for a touch up-tried twice more and regretted it each time. My sister tried this place once and also said it was some of the worst waxing she had ever had. I have to say: this place gave me the sloppiest Brazilian waxes I have ever ever had! Terrible. I have an esthetics license- so I myself have done and have had this service many many times. Maybe because I am from out of state- and a Brazilian wax means all the hair is gone-except a strip upfront if wanted... I am blown away by what a bad job is done at this location! Yikes.

Love this place but I agree about some of the associates being very pushy about the wax pass. Other than that I have no complaints.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and my eyebrow waxing was the least amount of pain ever getting my eyebrows waxed. Angel did an awesome job on shaping my eyebrows.

Everyone Ive seen here has been great, I never walk out disappointed. My only complaint is their pushiness on wax passes.

I have not had a good experience with this location. The parking is terrible. I was ten minutes late for a 30 minute appointment because I had to wait for over 15 minutes to find a spot. When I finally did and ran to the store they told me my appointment would have to be cancelled and they could reschedule three hours later because I was one minute past their 9 minute, policy. I have never once been late and spent thousands of dollars with this location on top of being subjected to poorly trained technicians on bikini waxes! Ouch ladies! Then when I am late on one occasion because of THEIR parking situation they could not accommodate a long standing client. This was a very poor mistake because I will not be returning.
