Just purchased a 2022 Impreza Premium Hatchback and the process couldnt have been any smoother! Called to make an appointment to view a car with Alex who showed me the car, explained all the features that came with it, and got me all set up! Bill, the finance manager is very informative and lays everything out on the table for you - no surprise fees or anything! Definitely recommend seeing Alex if youre looking for a new or used ride!

This dealership is top notch! My salesman worked with me 3 days to find my dream car. He was patient and kind. Pick Liam if you shop at Landers McClarty Subaru, which you definitely should!! I had dozens of questions and calls and texts and he was great to respond and point me in the correct direction. I met the Sales Manager, Nathan who was a very nice man. When it came down to the Finances, Ethan Murphy really worked extra hard to make sure the payment fit my budget and Ethan is a Finance Manager you definitely want to use! He applied no pressure and was very genuine, patient, and concerned to make sure I left there happy (even if I held them there well after closing). The Team is good. The prices are great and the service is outstanding! I will be back.

I brought my 2018 Subaru Forester to Landers McLarty Subaru for a ceramic coat, and let me tell you, they do an excellent job. It is so slick, bugs will not even stick to it. Take your vehicle in and you will be more than pleased with the results! It doesnt have to be a Subaru.

We try to keep a vehicle with a warranty at all times because we dont have the best of luck with cars. Our Hyundai was getting close to 100k miles, so my husband ended up calling me from there and telling me about the Subaru BRZ. I had never even heard of that model, so I did a quick search and was quite impressed. I drove down to meet him and to take a test drive.I was hooked. Honestly, if it wasnt for the employees, I doubt I wouldve bought it, but they were amazing at their jobs. From the salesman, to the finance department, it was a great experience. You wont hear me say that often, because buying a car is about a fun as going to the dentist. Lol. Weve had our BRZ since November and I could not tell you how many compliments we have gotten or conversations that have been started about this car. If youre looking for a car, I highly recommend this place!

I didn’t purchase my car at this dealer I purchased out of state, and the very first time I went to this location I wasn’t happy with the customer service at all compared to the dealership in Clarksville Tennessee. Well, I had my 12,000 mile service appointment, never had ANY problems with my car, and the very next day my car started leaking water into the floorboard. I called them to let them know, and of course it “couldn’t have been anything they done” they were more concerned about letting me know it wasn’t their fault then what the actual problem was. My car is a brand new 2021, it shouldn’t be leaking anything this early on. Im also having to wait 4 days until I can get in to see them while my car continues to leak water in my floorboard and mold and mildew everything. Not happy at all.

We have strictly been using Landers for our service on a 2019 Subaru Ascent. I get a bit aggravated when we schedule a service appointment and show up and them tell us they actually dont have the right parts. This has happened on five different occasions and frankly Im a little burnt out on driving an hour just to fix their mess up. To make it worse they dont offer anything for your troubles. They do seem nice, but I would rather go to a dealership closer. Maybe someday Decatur will get a Subaru dealership. I love subaru, but not sure I would buy another due to the service troubles. The service guy just came out gave me my oil change for free. Maybe theyre turning over a new leaf.

The people here are nice, but they will squeeze you for cash with their payment structure for inspections. $135 for a visual inspection where they didnt mention an issue they noticed with my exhaust, forcing me to come back and pay an additional $135 for a diagnosis because the exhaust began rattling a few days after the first inspection. They also failed to replace the lights I explicitly mentioned, so I had to come back for a third time (to their credit, they replaced these lights for free). Again, the people here have been kind but Ive been frustrated by the additional costs and time.

He didn’t pressure us in anyway or makes us feel uncomfortable. He took notes of what we wanted and needed. I’ve been working with this dealership the last couple years and my experiences are always excellent. The service department is always timely, respectful and clean! I just upgraded to a 2020 Outback and had a great experience. My salesman, Jesse Free was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy! He answered all my questions and taught me how to use all the gadgets. Went with my boyfriends dad to pick up new car, it was sitting on the show room floor and had a a scratch in the paint, seemed to be fine until we left and as soon as we turned off the car the battery died and it wouldn’t start. The people who work there handled the situation great though and drove out and jumped the car off and after talking with them they replaced the battery and added some kind of protective coating on said car (which the coating was not put on when he bought it, and he paid for it. But they corrected the mistake.), which is why I’m giving them three stars. Good service and great and fixing their own mistakes just not a good thing that these mistakes happened!

Lou was our salesman and he was awesome! We came with our wild one year old to upgrade our small Ford for an Ascent. Lou was never pushy or aggressive but rather very straightforward and interested in helping us figure out the best model for our needs. He got us completely taken care of and we couldnt be happier. We were lied to. They refused to give us a loaner vehicle even though the recall notice we were sent clearly stated we would be given one AND the person on the phone who setup our appointment said we would be given one. My wife has an autoimmune disease and we are forced to wait in a waiting room during the pandemic. She is more susceptible to sickness than others. If we had known this was going to happen we would have brought our other vehicle and dropped the Subaru off. Very rude service department. We could have taken our car to any dealer but we chose Landers. Is this how you represent your brand? Unacceptable and there is no option for zero stars.

The saleswoman that helped us was not professional. After she asked my credit score and I told her, she automatically asked me for my age. I do not believe this was respectful at all. If I was a person that looked older, I guarantee my age would’ve been asked. She may of felt that I was not serious about Inquiring about a vehicle, even after I told her I was, but age has nothing to do with selling a car. We weren’t taken seriously at all. I don’t want to go back because of that, but unfortunately I saw something I liked. I can’t speak for this dealership as a whole because I have a friend that spoke wonders of her experience, but she was older. I’ll just make sure I do not get the same saleswoman next time.

Customer service during the purchase phase went smoothly, the staff was professional, and servicing of the vehicle has gone well. Our only complaint is the relentless hounding by Landers McLarty to buy back our vehicle. They call us, they e-mailed us, they send us flyers in the mail. We’ve asked them countless times to stop contacting us about selling back our vehicle but they refuse to honor our requests. We know Landers McLarty Subaru is in the business of selling vehicles but their relentless sales tactics are frustrating. We find it disrespectful that they ignore a customer’s wishes. Julie (from the Dodge dealership) was my salesperson. She was honest about the price of a used car that I had seen online. In addition, she didnt pressure me at all. When I told her I wanted to take a second test drive with a car I had driven already, it was no problem! She got the keys again and off we went. Throughout the whole process, she was there ready to answer any questions I had, and if she didnt know the answer she would find someone who did. She showed that she really cared about MY needs - including lunch!But where the dealership really went above and beyond is because I had a unique situation where I had to put the purchase on hold for a few days after the sale was nearly completed. They not only patiently waited but even put the car on hold for me. From all my previous experiences with purchasing a vehicle, I would not have thought any dealership could be so compassionate! Took my 2005 Outback Xt in for an engine light, turned out to be a bad O2 sensor so it wasnt to much for them to fix so off they went, later they call and let us know that they broke the bung trying to remove the sensor, but that they will fix it at cost of parts and no labor, just picked up the car they charged labor and full price for parts to fix something they broke in the first place, for what they charged I could have bought a full performance exhaust headers and all. And to top off this amazing mistake of trusting a dealership to fix anything right or stick to what they said, the hood was not properly closed and it opened on the drive home, Never go to this place its a wast of money and I will be going though and checking all there work since they can not even shut a hood.

Need some help. I purchased a Forester in 2012 and love the car. I came to the dealership Saturday morning and test drove an Outback. I am seriously considering trading my Ford truck in and purchasing an Outback or Forester. However, I am not getting the support to do so. The Sales Manager took my VIN from the truck and was going to get back to me via email on the trade in value. The salesperson called my Saturday afternoon stating that someone will be in touch with me. I have called the salesperson several times with no answer nor have I received an email stating the value of my truck. There is a Subaru dealership in Franklin Tennessee that has been very responsive. I rather do business in my home town but I will not hesitate to purchase from Franklin, Tennessee. Just bought our third car from these guys and they are always excellent to deal with. They got me a great deal and got me into a brand new 2019 Crosstrek. Very helpful and very knowledgeable! I also wanted some accessories to go on my car and unfortunately I didn’t know about the option of rolling those into your monthly payment until after I had finalized everything, but they were able to get me a good deal on what I needed as far as the accessories go and Kim in parts was awesome and super helpful! After several visits and emails with them, we decided what we wanted and we were pleased with our deal. Dean Hartley, our sales person, was very kind, patient, knowledgeable, we went on several long test drives, he stayed over hours for us and even wiped dry the whole car for us on a cold rainy December Sunday evening. Took my Subaru into this dealership for a recall repair. They did an excellent job. Also asked the service department to check out a noise at the rear. The service department stated that both rear hubs required replacement and that the rear differential required its oil to be replaced. Took this car to an independent auto mechanic and he discovered that only one rear hub was bad and that he had changed the rear differential oil only two months ago. This has been the most wonderful car buying experience of my 68 years (2019 Touring Forester)! No dirty tricks like hidden or last minute charges, a price that fit my budget, and totally knowledgeable and comfortable customer service made the drive from Atlanta to Huntsville to pick up the car totally worth it. And if it weren’t for Jodie, the internet salesperson, I never would have even considered it, as this sale was handled with a few emails and texts and NO high pressure phone calls or face-to-face visits. No need to put up with the games of major cities’ Subaru dealers. Buy in Huntsville and never look back!

On Saturday, May 16th, my husband Don and I went to Landers McLarty Subaru in Huntsville. We were specifically looking for a 2015 Crosstrek that we had seen online there. We were hoping to get it for our daughter for graduation. After we arrived, we discovered that the Crosstrek was actually at a sister dealership. Chauncey Carter and Al Hampton did what it took to get that car on the HSV lot on Monday. In the meantime, we wanted to begin the process of looking for something for me. Al showed us a couple of Legacys on the lot. Once I saw and then test drove the silver 2020 Legacy, I knew I wanted that car! Al walked us through the whole process, and made us feel completely at ease. Al and Chauncey made us feel like family, and took care of us as if we really were family. It had been a very long time since I’d had a new car, but I never remembered feeling such genuine care and concern. You just don’t get that kind of feeling very often at a car dealership. I would highly recommend Landers McLarty and suggest that you ask for Al Hampton and Chauncey Carter! They make an outstanding team!

We have gone to them for the maintenance on my older Subaru outback, the last time, they never reconnected my fan after the maintenance and it was winter. I drove home running my heater. But a few days later it was very warm out and I had a doctors appointment and my car start over heating on 565, so I had to exit and let it sit, I finally made it to a place where I called my husband, he left work and couldnt see any thing, so his buddy who is a mechanic saw they didnt reconnect my fan.So we made another trip, wasnt good for my engine.😕

Bought a 2018 Subaru Outback last year. Nathan Hudson and Al Hampton were very good to work with and I couldnt be happier with the purchase. Terrible. We’ve been back and forth with them for MONTHS just trying to figure out the roaring behind one of my back wheels. After the 10th visit of getting nothing done and them changing the price on us 50 times (each time going up) they made us wait 6 HOURS without telling us ANYTHING. The guy said if we came in early today we could get finished up in no time. Came in and they skipped over us (like every other time). Overheard them scamming other people as well. Don’t waste your time or your money here.

My husband and I had been researching for months in preparation to purchase a car. We knew we wanted a Subaru, as we have owned them in the past, and in our opinion, are unbeatable in reliability, economic value, and safety. We looked at all the Subaru dealers in our area, and after inquiring with one dealer (and having a not so pleasant experience) we decided to give Landers McLarty Subaru a try. We are so glad we did!!Our first contact was with Richard Donaldson. Right off the bat he was friendly, professional, and accommodating. We had picked out a couple of models on their website, and we started to run some numbers. Now, my husband and I are what you would call a unique credit situation, and we knew that getting financed would be a challenge. I told Richard this upfront, and it didnt scare him off, haha, he assured us wed be able to make something work. So we put in the credit application and our next contact was Joey Wright, one of the sales/finance specialists. Joey was great from the get-go, friendly and professional, and transparent and honest about our situation. He worked all day to negotiate with the lender to get us exactly where we wanted to be with payments for the vehicle we picked. Now mind you, all of this was done via phone and email, right in the comfort of our home! Once we had come to an agreement on the deal, we went the next day to make it official and pick up our car. When we got to the dealership, our satisfaction continued. Everyone there we encountered was friendly. We inspected and test drove the vehicle we had picked, and were very satisfied to move forward and seal the deal. Steve Morrison was the final person we dealt with in finalizing all the paperwork. He was awesome also, and gave us some excellent insight into fixing our credit, which was greatly appreciated. Before we left they replaced the back window wiper, and made sure we had a full tank of gas to get started!So, overall, definitely a stellar experience! We love our 2011 Subaru Forester, its exactly what we wanted! Kudos to this dream team for going to bat for us and making sure we had a great experience! In my 20+ years of making car purchases, this experience ranks at the top! We will definitely be returning customers, and will be proud to recommend them to our family and friends!Thank you Richard, Joey, Steve, and the Landers McLarty family!!!

Buying a new car can be a massive hassle. Theres always a stigma of being pushed around and not being taken care of. This was not my experience in the slightest the other day. Richard Donaldson took amazing care of me and my car needs and Nathan Hudson also made a great impression making sure as a Veteran I was taken care of. Hands down this was the best car buying experience Ive ever had and highly recommended Landers McLarty Subaru, the customer service goes above and beyond.
