Well if you want your car not to be worked on. This Is the best place to go. Service writers, write up the job. Mechanics work alot but the managers is where the trouble is. They dont get whats there next, then they work what coming in next. But never finish whats there. Its now about 5mo that Ive been waiting.

Awful place. Always rude, called us a liar. They make promises they cannot keep. They will leave disabled, elderly people stranded. I will never go back, we will never buy another car from this dealership because the managers do not care. Awful employees, Awful service. We are currently working with corporate office. Horrible place. The dealership itself tricked my parents out of $3,000!

I have always brought my Jeep, and now my Chrysler, here to the dealership and Ive been pleased with their service. Theyre not perfect but when I have encountered an issue with them, they have worked to resolve it to my satisfaction.

The service department needs some work. The employees were polite. There did not seem to be any structure. I needed service on my wifes van, which is still under warranty, so I brought it in to get a diagnosis and repair. I understand 48 hours because of covid so that gives them some leeway for new protocol. They said they would call within 2 days. I was providing my own rental so i was eager to find out if they had a diagnosis or could provide me with loaner until they got the work done. I was able to talk to my account manager on day 3, which i had to keep calling to get information and he was the only person in the entire service dept. Allowed to look into my account. So when he was out sick and didnt leave any notes nobody could tell me if my warranty was going to cover the repair. At this point my van has been there for 6 days. Ive been calling everyday trying to get payment information and get the repair going but nobody could help. Day 7 was a Saturday i was finally able to make back to the Landers Mclarty service department. I thought surely if im there physically I cant be bounced around on the phone and put on hold I can find something out and get these people paid and my wifes van fixed. My account manager was not there and the other service rep. told me he would be back on Monday and couldnt tell me anything. I was going to leave and wait until Monday but I decided to go back in and get my vehicle out of there. The young brunette woman was very professional and polite helping me retrieve my van so i could take it back home and fix it myself. I wish I could have spent all that money on school clothes instead of a rental. Oh well live and learn. Just disappointing.

I’ve had a few minor disappointments over the last three years. Just recently we needed our transmission changed out for a new one. With so much happening with Covid I know the shop went through a period of time short on workers.Just recently they hired a woman to oversee the problems or back ups they were having and getting jobs done. Her name is Wrenni and she has been a blessing to me and others I spoke to in the waiting room. When I had concerns she wrote them down immediately pursued them all the way to the man that needed to hear it and then stood with me when I needed to speak to people about how things were done. The support she showed in the concerns we had made coming to Landers McLarty so much easier because of her. She never promised anything she just supported the concerns and got us answered and made the process so much easier. I believe Landers McLarty made a great decision putting her in this position. I will be back in a lot of ways because of her.

One star is too much for their service department. Its too bad that Google doesnt allow for no stars or negative stars. I made an appointment to get some minor electrical issues taken care of. I waited for almost an hour before they told me that they *might* be able to look at my car today. Then, they offered shuttle (no loaners here, just rentals). After over another hour, still no shuttle. Im sorry I ever came here today. Be smart, do not make the same mistake I did.

I hate going here. They tell you 30 mins and 3 hours later youll still be waiting, just for an oil change. Recalls are the worst. They offer no car other than a rental and they have your car FOREVER. I only go here for oil changes that came with the car or recalls. Even then, its the WORST SERVICE EVER!!

My experiences that I have had at this location has been horrible experiences. The first time I took my car in for service the office lost my keys and I had to wait over 45 minutes for them to be found only for them to be returned to me in a rushed way without any practices of good customer service or apology.The most recent visit I had was even worse. There was no communication between the dealership and myself about what their recommendation was, why they chose to begin working under the hood of my car, without my permission, or unplugged items and then returned my defective car back to me.During the process I never received a call to say it was completed after my car was there all day. After I took it upon myself to send my husband to pick the car up, he received it back worse than when we carried it in. At the time of pick up upon leaving the lot the car began to shake, dash board went black, and car began sputtering and we immediately returned the car to the lot.The tech denied that they had touched the car. After some back and forth the tech stated that it looked as if they had unplugged some things which caused damage to my car when it was driven off the lot after they had returned it without completing the work needed.During this visit a rental vehicle was not offered. As a result, my car had to stay there overnight to allow them time to fix an error that they created and unfortunately I did not get my light fixed due to my lack of trust in the employees at this dealership to accept responsibility for their mistakes, my lack of trust in them to only complete the work requested of them, or to even complete the work correctly and appropriately.The individuals at this dealership have no care for the customer, are conflict avoidant when a costumer has a problem that needs addressing, and are only driven by making the most money as possible for a job. I believe this is due to their understanding that this is the only dealership in Huntsville so costumers are somewhat forced to get their car serviced there out of convenience. However, going forward I would prefer to work with a private company or drive to Decatur or Cullman before I would ever get my car serviced at this location again.

Went to get an oil change. Other than it taking 2.5 hours to get my car back, the waiting area was clean and comfortable with complimentary coffee, tea, and water. I believe they also offer a shuttle if you choose to take it.

This service department is beyond terrible. They do shoddy work. Our car was on their lot for a week for a recall. They did not tell us when it was finished. When we went to pick it up, there was a large screw in one of the tires. They had the audicity to tell us that we picked up the screw somewhere. Really? We had not had the car for a week! This came from the service manager. Finally they agreed to inflate the tire so that we could go to Firestone to get it fixed. As far as the repair work, they found an oil leak that was under warranty. We have not seen any evidence if leakage. Suspect they are billing Chrystler unnecessarily. Only take your vehicle there if you want to be treated like dirt.

Took vehicle in to be checked out on nov 13th still waiting to hear if they have evn looked at it on nov 23rd. So frustrating. Didnt even hear from anyone for a week. Then called and they said they didnt know what to do with it and they were told a couple different occasions what the problem was and was told to us that they wouldnt get to it til mud week which would have been around the 18th. As I said nov 23 and still not a peep. Some customer service. Thinking maybe should not have bought a vehicle here. Wont make that mistake again.

They have had my car for over a year now for warranty repair work. Allegedly waiting for parts for months at a time, they never provide me with any type of updates. Theyve told me it was done a couple of times when it wasnt. Once where I went to pick it up and it had new problems along with the original issue and another that one person called to tell me that it was ready and I called back to the person that I normally talked to that said that it wasnt. Im on the third service person because the other two no longer work there. When my car first had the problem that its in the shop for now I was strongly advised not to take it to this service center by a few people, but I figured I had to take it there for dodge warranty repair work. They gave me a loaner for the first six months, but when they had to pick my car up a day after I got it when they said it was done they didnt offer another loaner. There has to be some type of law against this right?**EDIT**I received a response to this review apologizing for my experience and given a name and number to contact for assistance. The person never answered a single call and either the voice mailbox is full so I cant leave a message or I leave a message and never get a call back... Just pathetic.

Im getting service on car today. Great service, comfy waiting room with nice amenities and free coffee, tea, etc. And shuttle service if you need to get real food while waiting. Only place I will buy and service my vehicles. Definitely five star dealership. Ive bought the last 3 cars from them and they are top notch in value, quality, and service. Love these guys!!!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They had my car almost a month for something I brought it in to get checked. They charged me over $1,100 to fix it and my husband drove it not even a half mile and turned around to take it back. He told them what the problem was they checked it out and agreed, and assured us it would be taken care of. Waited another week and a half for a part to be shipped to them and put on. Our warranty covered those expenses and we again assured it would be fixed. They called to tell me it was ready but they found the motor mounts needed fixed and warranty wouldn’t cover it and then told me it’d be an additional $1420. Mind you I had to pay for a rental car out of pocket while they dragged their feet. Needless to say they need new management to fix these poor excuses as to why my vehicle STILL isn’t fixed.

DeJuan was my CSR, he obviously didnt listen to me when i was describing my cars problems or when i gave him an updated phone number, after a week of calling everyday trying to get an update, I finally had to go in myself to get answers in person. They did not even check for my two main concerns, the battery dying after sitting for a day, and smoke comming through the air conditioning vents. I received an estimate of over 2 thousand dollars, none of which fixed the problems i brought it in for. Took all I had to not start cursing at how blatently unprofessional they were. I rented a car for a week and wasted a years worth of paying for their extended coverage plan. 75$ a month for a extended coverage and they didnt even try to look for the problems. Seriously, dont ever trust them with your car, and if your trapped in a coverage plan like i was, get second opinions from a competent crew before they do work for you.

I just bought my vehicle from here. That process was great and our salesman was great. What isn’t great is that I’ve had to bring it to this shoddy service department 3 times. The first time I was turned away and told to come back at 7 in the morning. I did as was told and it was quick and supposedly fixed the issue. The issue returned and right back to dodge I went...with an appointment and reserved dodge loaner car that never “went through the system”. They said it’d be the next day before it was fixed and it would have to be test driven so they carted me off to Nissan across the street for a loaner car which was loaded with so much animal fur inside it seemed like a joke. The next day I called because it had been dropped off around 9AM the previous morning. A TECHNICIAN WAS NOT EVEN ASSIGNED TO MY CAR AT THAT POINT. So I guess it was my fault the proper actions weren’t taken to reserve my appointment by the girl who wrote it up?? So I called Nissan and told them the deal to see if I could at least switch my loaner for one that was more clean. Thankfully, they told me to come straight in and switch. Anyway, I kept calling dodge and was told it would be another night. Then I finally get a call 1 hour before they close that my car is ready with the girl saying “ your car is ready, but we close in an hour THANK GOD”. So, I still had to wait until the next day to get it. But that’s not all. This 3rd time they had my car for 8 days, EIGHT DAYS, until they finally decided to fix it. The car was dropped off Friday morning, part came in Monday, and here it is Friday and it’s just now ready. It took us calling our salesman to light a fire under them to get my car done. The topping on all of this? I called yesterday, on Thursday, for a status and whoever took my message said I’d get a call back from the dispatcher or technician when they got my message. 26 hours later and no one called me. I even stopped by yesterday right after leaving a message to get a status on my car and to at least get a loaner since dodge was clearly dodging me and was told “your car has to be diagnosed first for you to get a loaner”. Not one person could give me any information about my car they had kept for 7 days. This was after I was told the part came in on Monday by someone else. These people don’t know whether they are on foot or horseback and I can guarantee my car won’t be going back to this dealership. This has been a nightmare. Oh, and when I picked it up last time from supposedly getting fixed, I was told it was past due for its 30,000 mile maintenance that would cost me $950. I bought the car with 32,000 miles ALREADY ON IT!!!! How can it pass an inspection if it’s “required” maintenance?!?!?! Why wasn’t it already done before I got it?? All I can say is NEVER AGAIN. Stay away from this dodgy service department. They are rude, hate their jobs, and don’t want anyone coming in or calling seems like.

Dont bother taking your vehicle here.Dont bother making an appointment over the phone or in person. It means nothing to them. Dont bother showing up at 6:30 am to drop of your vehicle, it will still sit there unattended for upwards of 5 hours. Dont bother taking their service shuttle, its a one way ride, you will have to find your way back to the dealer on your own.Dont bother calling them on the phone, you will have to hold for 8 minutes, each and every time you call. Dont get me started on their hold message:You will be back on the road in no time Not true!..treating you better than ever Lies!If you get through to a technician and ask why your vehicle has been there for 7 hours you wont get an apology. Your get some push-back:Sir youre not the only vehicle we have Which is a great excuse for a mom and pop shop with 2 mechanics. Its a terrible excuse from a garage who employs a dozen mechanics each shift.Please consider driving to another dealership, it will save you time for sure!

It took them 5 days to inspect my car just to see what was wrong with it. I was quoted a charge of $1,400 to get my car running again. I had it towed away and fixed by an independent mechanic for $138. I will never have my car serviced at this place.

Remove “express” from the title. The only reason I come back to this place is because I already paid for the service package. This visit makes the third consecutive visit that my oil change has taken over 2 and a half hours. Then I have to deal with the service rep trying to tell me about the unnecessary and overpriced services my vehicle “needs”. Hopefully, the next time I buy a car, I’ll remember how much time and inconvenience these oil changes are and never get the service package again. Big mistake!

Brought my truck in at appointment time of 7:30 AM for recall repairs. Got dropped off after work at 3:20 PM and my truck wasn’t ready’ they said it would be another hour.it was fix within the hour and put through the the wash and they even gave me a store credit. Slightly inconvenient but their friendliness and professional customer service made it an outstanding visit.

I wrote a poor review a few days back where I was quoted one price but paid a higher price when I went to pick up my jeep. After writing the review I was contacted by the Service Manager, Matt Hutson. Matt apologized for the mis-communication and gave me a credit of $100 towards my next service and credited my debit card so I ended up paying the lower price that I was quoted. I am completely happy with the way the service manager handled this issue. I will continue to get my jeep serviced at this dealership in the future. Thanks Matt for your assistance in resolving this issue so quickly and in such a professional manner.

Terrible, I made an appointment, dropped it off before they opened. They had my car for 2 days, they never looked at it. I listed three issues and twice I told them specifically 1 issue was important, they shouldnt wait to look at the other issues, I could reschedule the other two issues for later. I picked the vehicle up and took it to another shop, the problem was fixed in less than 3 hours... #NeverLandersDodge #WasteOfTime

A big thank you to this dealership!! My son had an accident the week before he was leaving Huntsville and needed a car. He fell in love with a grand Cherokee and these guys made it happen. They had to deal with him there and me out of state. And we needed to title the car in Florida. David and Chris worked with me on the price and Don got the financing done through my USAA bank. Hanna got all the paperwork to our Florida DMV overnight and we completed the process in record time. All of them were very patient with my phone calls and took the time to explain what I needed to do with the title work. Great job guys and thank you for all your help!!

Sadly the service side is just like a new car dealer. They try to push lots of unnecessary services on the customer and are slow and difficult to contact. Their labor rate is noticeably higher than at least 2 national repair chains. Unless it is a factory recall or warranty.
