On hold for 30 minutes and never did answer the phone for a Terrys Pizza order. Manager was indifferent after walking to the pizza department and said, theyll help you now. Told him to watch a 50 year customer, one pizza per week (and groceries) make his last purchase there. Sure makes it easy to go to Publix.Business must be good at Star Market - seen me for the last time,,,

I like going into this store because it has a less corporate feel. The prices are fine and the staff are friendly. They will probably have anything the big box stores will have.

Bought strip steaks on sale. Worst steak Ive ever had. We could not eat 4 bites bc of all the gristle. I could have done better at Walmart. Very disappointing.

I love the fact that they have a wide variety of seafood and their meat selection is very good. Great steaks at a cheaper price then Publix with very good quality.

I Love their meats. I bought a Terrys cheese pizza and almost ate 2 nasty hairs. I was not going to buy another because the last pizza didnt taste right. Hair nets...... Hair nets...fix the problem...

In town visiting and we fell in love with this store. What it lacks in size it makes up with quality products and amazing people. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

Really dissapointed in produce here. There have been several visits where it was over-ripe and the quality was not what i expect out of star market. Otherwise its great place to quickly grab a few things, and Terrys pizza and the hot bar are always delicious!

Had a awesome experience with this store! Everything stocked perfectly but the employees however was very rude. Example one was when I was trying to get peanuts out of the crockpot. I always try to get some of the water so that my peanuts stay warm in the car but I was rudely interrupted by a employee! He almost snatched my peanuts out of my hand and raised his voice at me stating that we “took too much of the juice” and he would “take them away.” If you don’t want me to put juice in my cup then please have a sign saying that! It would have been different if he politely told me but he was very rude.

Older store in Five Points. Will have some products that are not found in other grocery stores. Have good in house made food. Have freshly cut meats, fresh pizzas, and the store is clean. Friendly check out clerks.

Wonderful little community grocery store. Excellent meat and deli department - the meat department is the best in town. The pharmacy is well staffed and is very popular. Most shoppers use Star Market for quick in n out runs - the cashiers and baggers are friendly and will get you checked out quickly.

We came to visit the mountains this weekend and stopped by this Market to grab some snacks for the trip. However when we walked in we were watched like criminals the whole time! Not only that but a man working there treated us very poorly by talking down to one of our party for simply getting a cup of boiled peanuts. Very unprofessional and HIGHLY disappointed!!

Came here about a month ago to buy hamburger buns for dinner. The buns cost $4 after tax so I handed the girl at the register a $20 bill, but when she gave me my change it was only $6 instead of $16. I didn’t notice until I got home and checked my wallet. Even though I should’ve looked at the change she handed me I don’t see how you make that kind of mistake. Also, half of the staff here is a bunch of immature teenagers that huddle up and gossip about everything

Good food & very nice people that work there. Ive never had a bad pizza from Terrys & never had to wait more than a few minutes for pizza pickup.I think its a very good place to get food & pizza. Terrys Pizza is the only pizza my family wants. We have been eating it almost as long as its been in business.

I go here to get specialty items I can get anywhere else. We love your gunpowder seasoning! Its amazing. The customer service is always on point.

Very argumentative slow to process and always right had been getting the same non generic medication for two years told me I was wrong I had to go home get empty packages take back down there before they would give me the non generic medication assumed I was lying after eight years of using this Pharmacy was very disappointed had another family member have to do the same thing and some of the ladies down there definitely have an attitude when something like this arises again theyre never wrong

I go there all the time. The pizza has always been the best in Huntsville and believe me. I have just tried them all. They have the freshest meats and produce. The staff are so nice and friendly ☺️. They need 10 Stars!!!

I only buy my chickens here, they are not those big unhealthy turkey looking chickens.

Convenient location and decent selection of stuff for the size, but some of the stuff is closer to expiring than I seem to find in a larger grocery stores. I once once bought a steak that already smelled slightly rancid when I went to cook it the same day. Some of the staff (namely the butcher) have been kinda rude on multiple occasions. The pharmacy staff are great, however, and are always friendly.

The pharmacy staff are all the nicest and they are willing to help you in short notice any time. The meat is always fresh and the best quality, their ground beef makes the best tasting burgers. The store is clean and very quaint, the bakery has the best cookies and baked goods. I dont think weve had better pizza in over 20 years, since living in the Palm Beaches. The deli has Boars Head meats so you cant go wrong there.

My friends and I went into this grocery to get some things for our dinner and the moment we walked in the door, until we left all the employees stared us down but wouldn’t say anything to us. One of my friends got some boiled peanuts from the container near the back of the store and we got yelled at by a deli worker that if we take anymore of the juice out the container he would take the peanuts away. Was very rude about it as well. I don’t think we will be back there.

The pharmacy staff here are fantastic. Its probably the quickest and most well run pharmacy Ive ever seen. They are constantly swamped but they all take it in stride. No one is flustered. Even when issues happen its just taken in stride.Their meat Dept is practically famous here. They have amazing cuts of meat. They have fresh made pizza to take and bake or they bake there. The staff is always polite and super helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Was just in the 5 Points store and I pointed out to the butcher that one of the meat coolers (with the bacon and more in it) was filthy and disgusting .I prefaced this comment with Please dont take this the wrong way but....then he said to me (not exact words but) well, there are 20,000,000 of you out there and 2 of us trying to feed you and protect you from the virus and were doing the best we can. I had no idea that Madison County now has so many people nor do I care but his attitude was not welcome and the meat display is still disgusting and needs the Board of Health to come look it over. I mean, rotting food in a meat cooler? Really?

Ive been a regular for 30 years. One-stop shopping! The meat shop is great, and occasionally there will be amazing deals. HAM SCRAPS are an especially fine item -- they make excellent lentils or split pea soup. Pharmacy offers excellent service. Terrys pizza is great. Wine and beer selection is very good. They have packed a lot into a small space.

My favorite grocery store in our area. Clean, friendly staff and the meat department is always putting fresh cut meats out and will also cut to order what you want. The mgr is a very nice person. The deli makes cakes to order, plate lunch and a fair choice of cheese and sandwiche meats, this is the only area that could be improved. Steve in the pharmacy is a wonderful person and so helpful either with your precipitation med.. or over the counter type, he is happy to tell you what works best for whatever reason you are needing, in the meat department Wesley is always your best person to go to.

I went to Terrys today and got a calzone, as I was eating I noticed something and broke apart the crust to find a part of a black glove, yes they are refunding me but when I explained to the manager what happened he said oops and asked if I wanted another one. I will not be returning.

Small hometown grocery store with a surprisingly wide variety of things. They offer fresh baked goods as well as hot, homemade meals cooked by an awesome cook named Ms. Mary. They also have as pizza place inside the supermarket as well as a pharmacy. Its pretty much a one stop for all your needs kind of place.

The butcher shop has great meat. The butchers are very helpful. They have a very good selection of prepared foods.

Mold, mold, and more mold. The first time I bought a perfectly good looking bell pepper here and cut into it to find mold, I let it go as a one time thing. But, now it seems like at least one item I buy here every time I shop at this store has mold on it. Tonight I was very excited to make a beef Wellington and bought puff pastry from their frozen section. It took me an hour to prep everything and when it came time to open the far from expired puff pastry I found it covered in mold. Now at 9pm when I need more they are closed and I cannot finish making my meal because the original I was sold is not safe to eat. I will be there tomorrow with my receipt and the box and I will get my money back. But trust me when I say Im never going to spend it here again. I love how close to my home this store is and how cute it is and how INCREDIBLY nice the employees CAN BE as long as they arent the teens behind the register, but its not worth my time or money to shop here. So disappointed.

Star Market is one of the best place to go shopping in Huntsville Alabama in Five Points off of Pratt Avenue best one Ive been too slow for the managers and the staff treat you so so much respect I just wish they will have a handicap chair to get around to the store what people would do disability but I got some strawberries from them and have mold on them when I get home the manager gave it back to me when I went back to the store awesome customer service in the cashier Ryan he is awesome cuz I had difficulty walking through the store and he helped me so much give that man a raise

This place has the best meat in Huntsville AL. I go daily to get fresh meat to cook for dinner. It never disappoints! They also have wagyu beef. If you havent tried it, you should! They also have meats prepared so all you have to do is throw them in the oven, skillet, or on the grill. Their stuffed pork chops are amazing!!

Long history with Star Market. Lived in this neighborhood starting in the late 60s. Best place to live in Huntsville AL. The owner has only enhanced this store over the years. You can get everything here from basic groceries, to specialty items, as well as a full meat market & butcher shop available. Pharmacy on site as well. I love 5Pts!!
