My daughter called to set an appointment because she broke her glasses. We were quoted $89.00 for contact exam which included a pair of trial contacts. We were also quoted 2 frames for 59.00 and lenses starting at 50.00. We got there, and were told it is $129.00 for the exam with ONE pair of trial lenses, $89.00 for just the exam. (40.00 for a PAIR of contacts, not a box). The 2 for 59.00 was only if your prescription is under a 2, my daughters is 2.5 so she doesnt qualify. And, the lenses start at 100.00 not 50.00. The only thing we were told was, Were a franchise, so our prices can be different. We called customer service back, and after they called the store to confirm, all we got was an apology. We came here because I lost my job, so I dont have insurance, and the deals they advertised seemed budget friendly. I would never bring my business here.

At first glance this seems like an ideal establishment for a good price and service. When you get in you realize the false advertising of the pricing, and you may or may not wind up paying 4 to 7 times the price that is on the window. If that wasnt bad enough, I would advise that you take pictures of your glasses before bringing them in to have any adjustments on them, because when I did this, they broke the frames. The frames being broken is not as bad as what happened after the wait for the free replacement frames. That was an open courtesy. When I went to claim the fixed glasses I realized within one day that there had been damage done to the lenses, including scratches and what looks like what happens when a pebble or rock smashes and warps the windshield of a car. They vehemently claimed that they did no damage to them, and when I asked for their proof that no damage was done, they asked for proof of my own that there was not damage prior to bringing them in!So I call customer service seeking to settle this dispute as it was obviously on their hands, and after kindly claiming that they would love to assist me, they informed me that they cannot assist at all, citing that the damage and decision of what to do was entirely up to the location of the service. That makes for a lot of wasted time for everyone even attempting that line of resolution. Finally, I decided to leave them there where they agreed to look into their records to find evidence for whether or not it would be decided in my favor, dependent on whether or not I had given them a call to report the damages within the day, not considering as the primary factor that I had returned them within a day. After some time they informed me that the evidence was not in my favor, that the lenses were shown on video as being damaged when I brought them in for an adjustment. This compiles in with blatant dishonest practice, as I could not have created such damage even if I tried, and they were treated with the 10x scratch resistance upgrade. When I returned to examine them again and consider whether or not to use a lens repair treatment or to take up the offer to purchase new lenses at their 50% discount, they revealed the lenses with 8x as much damage, poking and scratching all around the lenses, as the representative told me that they had not done any further damage, another blatant example of dishonest practice and invalidating their claim that there was no damage by indeed causing the damage in like fashion much more extensively!I will not be continuing business with this establishment, I will not recommend it to anyone, nor will I ever go without remembering what has been done as disservice to my business. Bear in mind that this whole ordeal took place over several months!0 stars

The actual appointment was different as it was a virtual doctor, but it wasn’t bad, and it allowed me to remove my mask so the lenses would not fog up. Great prices and great service!

Total rip off!! Run away from them... they advertised $59 for free eye exam with 2 pair of glasses... i got my kid tested and they billed me $200 saying this is special lenses. When I checked same prescripton from other place, they quoted me $58 for 2 pairs. I asked them to cancel my order abd they cancelled but gave me back $105 and deducted $95... Total deception and dacoity

When I came in for my eye exam I spoke with a guy named Zach. After my eye exam he informed me that my prescription might not be all the way right but go ahead and try, see a specialist then once you get your new prescription we will replace it. I paid 200 for glasses I couldn’t see out of at all.I bring my new script in and they said it’s stronger we’ll duh you said it was wrong to begin with. They said I would have to pay 120 additional to switch out lenses as well a additional 20 because I’m using my own frames but it’s your frames.I REFUSE TO SPEND ANOTHER CENT AND WILL MAKE SURE THAT NO ONE I KNOW USES THEM AMERICAS BEST WOULDNT DO YOU LIKE THIS

Well, I was told it would take two weeks for my glasses to be ready. The website kept giving the same date. The date has come and now I am told it will be another week. The website still says today which means its useless to check the ready date on it. I had to drop it down to one star. Apparently, my order was misplaced or something because they have to write up a new order. The website kept having todays date on my order to arrive. This has become ridiculous. I am probably going to have wait at least another two weeks for my glasses which means I am unable to see properly for 5 weeks. Asking for a refund will probably take longer.

Overpriced. Frames available for the $59 eye test and 2 free pairs deal are unflattering and just downright tacky. Tried to call to get my PD they said they dont test for that (discovered during a google search that they have to know the PD to get the glasses right) Ive since downloaded a 5 dollar app to get my PD measurement so I could order affordable and more flattering frames. Id recommend Americas Best over this place.

Paid $65 for an eye exam, ordered my glasses and the prescription was way off. I called to inform them that my prescription was done wrong. They asked me if the place where I purchased the glasses had put the correct prescription and i said yes. They were only able to help by scheduling an appointment just to examine the glasses not to give me another eye exam. I then decided to go with another optometrist. I had to pay again for another exam and sure enough the optometrist at myeyelab just rounded up my prescription. Also there are no doctors in the office its all done through TELEMED.

I got 2 pairs of glasses for the price of one with their promo. They have a great variety of frames to choose from and the staff will definitely help you with any questions you may have. I recommend this to all my friends and family 👍🏻

As a struggling college student I went in there and was told eye exam + 1 pair of glasses would be a over $200, after I had called to confirm about the first deal I mentioned. I just had to get my eye exam and that was $66.

When I went to this store I didn’t realize they could do my exam without an appointment. They were so accommodating and helped me out as I was leaving town and had to get my exams done and they also said they will call me when my prescription will be ready. Very Helpful

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give them 0 stars I would. This is literally the worst experience I have ever had with an optometrist. If I could cancel my insurance paying for it, I would. I have yet to get a correct prescription and it has been 2 weeks. The girls at the front try to help but they literally do not care. On top of all the issues with giving me the wrong prescription their policy on contacts is if you get 6 months worth they divide what your insurance covers in half. Yet my insurance covers 150 regardless of how many Months I get. I will not be returning!

Eyelab is the best eye clinic you would ever want to go weather for eye examination or for glasses. The Doctor is awesome and the staffs there are extremely awesome as well, especially Lyba. Lyba is so friendly, and helpful. More grease to your elbows eyelab!

So upset with this purchase. Extremely low quality, flimsy, and cheap material for over $550 glasses! On top of that they dont come with the original box, it comes in a flimsy plastic case that doesnt stay shut. They dont even include a CLEANING CLOTH, they do however, sell it separately. So for $550 I just got the bare glasses with a flimsy plastic case.There were several factors that were wrong from the very beginning. I originally called in advance to schedule an appointment and surprisingly the gentleman had an opening within the next 30min so I signed up. I also asked him in advance how much the initial eye exam was and he promised me $60 which is about the average everywhere else. (I asked for all of this information in advance as I self pay and didnt use insurance)Well, I show up to the store and it was PACKED. No covid restrictions, no limits, nothing. It was packed to the brim and despide the fact that I had requested an appointment I had to wait for over an hour!Im waiting in the lobby when I hear a woman yelling at one of the employees because she too called in advance to verify her insurance was accepted and after waiting and finally getting her turn they wanted to charge her. So she called her insurance and THEY verified that they didnt cover that company. So initially, she had to call her own company to get confirmation as the ladies at the location COULDNT SIMPLY TELL HER THAT THEY DIDNT ACCEPT HER INSURANCE.So the lady storms off, its my turn and as Im sitting there the lady then proceeded to tell me THAT I OWE $90 when I was just promised to pay $60 for my exam. (Mind you that nowhere in their website states how much the exam actually is) really this should have been the moment that I walked away and saved all my time and money but as I had already waited over an hour I decided to stay.So anyways, finally get a call to pickup my glasses 2 weeks later. And of course the lady at the counter is very condescending and unfriendly.Bottom line is this place lacks communication, structure, work ethics, and professionalism. This is the first and last time I ever shop with the company at all. It was such a terrible experience and they dont deserve even 1 star.

I saw this store as I was going to target so decided to stop by and see what they had. My yearlyWas coming up so I thought I could schedule an appointment to see the doctor. I walked in but no one was in the front I walked around looking at glasses thought maybe they were in the bathroom but I could hear laughing and giggling coming from one of the rooms.So I waited for about 15 min till someone came out and they tell me oh I’m sorry we didnt hear someone come in. A girl named Daniela approach me and asked what I needed came off as rude but I let it go. So I asked how everything worked and the prices for the exam. I told her I had insurance but she looked at it and said they were out of network she didn’t even look like she was willing to help me was just trying to rush me out the door. Very unprofessional for the staff to be hiding instead of helping there patients when they walk in. I would not recommend the services of this places.

If I could rate them a 0 I would. I would think as an optical store the people working there would be more professional. I came in a couple months ago to see what there location was all about I walk in and everything was going good. I was being helped by Madeline or Natalie I can’t really remember her name since it’s been a couple of months and she made everything easy for me to want to get started but unfortunately the next day I was leaving to India so I was not able to but I did mention I would be back because I really liked the customer service. Unfortunately I came back last week to been seen and asked for her and the told me she no longer worked at this location. I said okay no big deal I want to go ahead and be seen but the girl who helped me told me I wouldn’t be able to be seen due to no available time but in the process she was very rude and unprofessional nothing like the first experience. Finally after an hour or so they finally got me in and the process of the eye exam took almost an hour an half by that time I knew I should not get my glasses here. So I just paid for my prescription and went to another optical store to purchase my prescription glasses. I just think if you are going to want people to come into your business you need people who actually want to help and be there for the customer. I know never to come here again.

Before I got to Eyelab I looked at the reviews on which place to go too, and My eyelab had the Highest review around me. I was hoping I would get Zak, because he was mentioned quite a few times on others reviews. When I got there the entire staff was phenomenal, Zak did help me in the end he was amazing at it. Ladies you would want him to help you, the man knows what he’s doing and also good looking. From the exam, picking out my glasses and getting my order everything was really smooth and easy. I love my glasses, Zak and Luz helped me pick them out. I sent my friends to my eye lab yesterday and they were late to their appointments, they got there at 6pm when the store closed and they said Zak still took them in and helped them out until the end. The walked out happy around 7:30, that’s great customer service for you. I’ll tell more people about this place, and will be coming here from now on.

Worst customer service! I went online to read reviews for this location and zak and Natalie were given great reviews. I went in as a walk in trying to get an appt. let’s just say the ladies there did not want to be bothered or wanted to do there job. I asked for Natalie first and they told me she longer worked there and so I asked for zak and they told me he wasn’t there that he had left early. So with the attitude I was given I just decided to leave. I went ahead and just went to pearl vision. I recommend going there great customer and way better selection.

I do not recommend coming here I regret bringing my Mom here. My mom has her own prescription so we decided to stop by to buy her some frames since we saw the deal on tv. It seems like they just have kids pretending to know what they are doing. She was overpricing my mom and got mad when my mom said it was to much. I ordered glasses and contacts, contacts came back two different colors, unprofessional not to verify information. didnt offer glass cleaning kit for glasses, told me that it was an additional charge when I had easily paid $$$ for glasses & contacts. Had to wait another 3 weeks for correct colors of contacts, disappointment since I needed them for my graduation dinner. when you conduct business here, verify all your information.

Went last week and got my eye exam and my contact lenses in under 20 minutes! The staff is super upbeat and friendly, and I was able to order new prescription lenses with blue light blocking abilities easily! I love this location and their customer service

Staff was very friendly which was the only reason this review is not a 1 star. There is no Optometrist on site. We were handed an iPad with a small set of yes or no questions about ocular symptoms which provided no option to ask a specific question. My son had a very brief interaction via telemedicine with a provider that the staff said was a refractionist. The remote provider never asked us if we had any questions. We were handed a prescription afterwards. When I asked if I could ask the Optometrist who wrote the prescription a question, the staff said it wasnt possible. They said the Optometrist worked remotely and that even they, the staff, had a hard time getting ahold of them. As a health care provider myself (a Pediatrician), I am always dismayed to find health care providers who have found a way to maximize reimbursement and minimize patient contact.

I went here months ago and was helped by Daniela. She helped me pick out some glasses and assisted me. I will definitely come here again.

Polite staff, unprofessional doctor.Eye exam was done remotely, Dr. flew through the exam, did not take their time. They gave me the wrong prescription for both eyes. Would not want to give a 5 min reexamination without making me pay again. Never in my 15 years have I had astigmatism and different prescriptions for both eyes, Ever. Wouldn’t recommend going here while the doctor is working remotely.

I completed a eye exam on 8/4/2020.. it’s been nearly 30-days since my exam and I have yet to receive my glasses.. I have contacted the Irving location several times and I am told my glasses have been sent back twice for failed inspections.. that is unacceptable and no fault of mine.. I have been without my perception glasses for several weeks which is a huge inconvenience! especially because I have paid for the prescription I have yet to use.. BEWARE!

It was my first time getting glasses and I was a little concerned going to the eye doctor because of everything going on. But from the moment I walked in Natalie greeted me and ask me a few questions about my health regarding COVID -19 and checked my temperature. After I was cleared she took me to the back where yuli helped me get signed in and help with my testing. Once I was done I was taken to Natalie where she helped me pick out some frames and helped me feel good about my decision. She explained everything I needed and answered question when I didn’t understand she had patience with me.
