This is the first time I’ve made it over to the bold city brewery. I went there to support a little fundraiser activity they had for the Jacksonville zoo. I loved everything about it it’s very open, it has a great little food area in the entrance that works in cooperation with them, and the beer is delicious. Had the pumpkin beer and it was lovely.

I absolutely love this brewery! My husband and I have been going since 2014 and celebrated many occasions from getting married, our first pregnancy, the loss of our baby, the loss of a Bold City family member and amazing cook, the loss of a dear friend, birthdays, to Bold City Brewery anniversaries and so much more! They always make us feel like family even when its been a while since our last visit. They have games you can sit and play with your companion while you have a few drinks. There is a place you can get some grub and dont forget the AMAZING selection of craft beers! You can bring your friendly 4 legged companion as well as your kids! This is an amazing hangout spot that truly treats everyone like family.

Absolutely love this brewery! Excellent service as well as prices! Definitely the worth the trip. I live about 2 hours away and do my very best to travel over once a month and make sure to come home with multiple growlers due to how amazing the prices are! Finally a brewery thats not 10 dollars a beer! The staff are very informative and helpful! I cant recommend boldcity more than that! They are absolutely awesome!

I would give it 5 Stars if it wasnt for the location, and even trying to find out where to enter The Tap Room. I know they have a downtown location, but this was the first Bold City Brewery before the downtown location. I absolutely love the fact that they gave a Sampler of beer for free. That is unheard of in our beer tasting experiences. So based on the beer, and the customer service, it deserves five stars, its just location and lack of space inside that made me take away a star. The service was great and even the returning customers make u love the place. I suggest posting some sort of signage to know where to go once some one arrives.

Great beers to taste in a quaint hole environment. First time visitors receive a free flight of everything on tap. Pints are well priced at $3.50. Quarts, half-growler and full growler are well priced. Also recommend the nachos (available after 4pm). Staff is super friendly.

We were looking for the art district but ended up in this small yet cozy loungy beer brewery. The first flight is freeeeeeee and even though Im not a beer drinker, I have a favorite one. Big Johns Apricot Wheat. Come and try their beers!

Good selection or local craft beer. They have a indoor bar and some outside area. Frequently have live music, family friendly events, and even yoga on Thursdays. They usually release a little something special on Thursday nights also. Friendly people. Families welcome and even have popsicles for the kids. Great environment, casual atmosphere. They also fill growlers.

I love to try the weekly beers they do. Jeremy does a great job with the tours. Delicious local beer. We love coming to Bold City!

I had a party of about 15 people come here after my graduation and we had the best experience! The service was great, staff very accommodating and gave great customer service. The food was amazing and we had an awesome time! I have always loved bold city and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a good place to hang out, grab a beer, and relax.

Had a great experience with Ryan! First time visiting with a freind from out of town, and we got the VIP treatment. They let us sample pretty much everything on tap before deciding on a purchase, and we got a great in-depth tour and even some samples from beers on the line. They know their beer and make some fantastic ones

Great beer, friendly staff, open floor plan, usually live music. While I was there the band did excellent renditions of Adele and Whitney Houston and San Smith. $4 - $6 a beer

They have an awesome brewery with free tours. Our boy Ryan hooked us up with free delicious beers as well as a free t-shirt and bottle to take home for my girlfriends 21st! Awesome atmosphere and bartenders.

Love this place. So friendly. If its your first time they offer a free flight sampler. They have a great little grill called Bodegas with AWESOME food. If you live in Jacksonville and you havent been here yet, youre wrong.

1st visit for Beer & HymnsVery crowded, took too long to get food and it was cold when we did receive it.They do not sell coffee, hot chocolate or soft drinks.But we will go back and try it again perhaps there was just too large of a crowd for them to handle that night.Our good friends are regular customers.

Bold City is a pretty awesome place to drink. They have indoor and outdoor seating, though the outdoor is somewhat limited. They indoor pub is a mix between a traditional pub and European cafe. The grill doesnt open until 4, so lunch is not an option. (Im not sure if they would allow outside food.) In my opinion, their best beers make up their rotating list and the prices are the best in town. PLEASE CAN THE 1901!

Jacksonvilles finest craft brewery. They set the bar early, and they continue to be the model for what a friendly neighborhood brewery should be. Delicious beer doesnt hurt either.

Such a friendly family and a cozy atmosphere and although I personally dont drink beer this place is my husbands favorite brewery. No matter what restaurant we go to he asks if they have Bold City Beers and he keeps 1/2 a keg of various brews in his kegerator at all times. Find out when theyre having their annual anniversary party for some great music, great beers and a good time. Thanks Bold City Family!!!!!

This was the first brewery I went to when I moved into the suburbs of Jacksonville and I wish I would have gone to any of the other ones for my first time. All of bold citys beers were ok. There wasnt anything about any of the beers that stood out to me. The flavors are mild and the texture was light. Ive tried their killer whale cream ale, manatee IPA, red ale, apricot wheat and their brown ale. If you havent been here I would give it a try. Beer tastes are all an opinion and this brewery was not for me.There is ample room for large groups and the tap room is really nice. There is normally always a food truck around.

Jacksonvilles FIRST craft brewer! Excellent beer and the owners and staff are 2nd to none. They also support local bands by hiring them as entertainment. Great people and beverages with food on-site.

This is, by far, my favorite place to get a drink. Quiet, without being dead. You can hold a conversation with people. And the beer is inexpensive and delicious!

Had the pleasure to purchase a six pack of Dukes cold nose brown ale at my local ABC Liquors in Tampa. Must admit that what caught my attention was the picture of the Boxer (Duke) on the can, as an owner of a boxer (Swayze, born on the day his namesake died!) it appealed to me and I thought I might as well try it and if the beer sucked the can would be nice to keep. Turned out it was the best brown ale I have ever tasted! No joke, the balance and taste are excellent. Then when I found out it was brewed in my home State of Florida, double plus!Keep up the great work brewing! I look forward to trying your other brews as well. Sorry to hear about Dukes passing. Ill post a picture of my boxer with a can of Dukes maybe we can start a great advertising campaign...Show me your Boxer...Got Boxer.

This is my favorite hangout. From the outside I was like..in there? we are going to a warehouse? and i opened the door and was smacked in the face with the smell of fresh brewed beer and the vibe was amazing! The staff is so friendly and decor was soo relaxing. They have board games to play while your hanging out..its just an amazing place. I love that you can sample all the beers if you have never been there before for free and decide on your favorite before ordering and the Growler prices are the best in town!

Good beer to choose from with good variety. There are plenty of activities to do, with a very comfortable and relaxing tap room to enjoy the local beers from. Staff is also very polite and knowledgeable on what they have available.

Nice place to chill. Great brews, plenty of space to park and sit! Theres a bar area or you can hang in the warehouse area.

If you are in to breweries and craft beer this is an absolute must. Incredible beers, ask for the sampler. Killer whale, Dukes brown, and 1901 red are the best. Ask for the tour!

Fun, local brewery with a friendly family atmosohere. The beer is good and they feature seasonal brews and special casts throughout the year. My go to beer of theirs is 1901. They also offer burgers, bbq and veggie burgers on site. When you go to bold city youre guaranteed to have a good time.

Say Hi to Susan, the Mother of the brewmaster and one of the owners, Robin, the brewmasters wife an Kevin, son of Susan. It is a family affair. The food, small menu, inexpensive prices is superb. Friday is Shrimp Bisque, Saturday, Chile.Only open Thursday-Saturday 4-late. Sunday, you can refill, yes refill your gallon jugs for their beer, all brewed in-house.Tell them Michael recommended them.

Went there for dinner, nice place, great steak... but here is why i a writing a review:Above the top service. Very professional. You expect that from a steak house, that my wife and i spent like $300 on. But Foh manager and bar tenders definatly worth more than 5 stars. So a few days later my 6 month pregnant wife was craving their sorbet. I raced accross town to get there at 9:58. Man at the front was so helpful, as soon as i told him what my situation was he practically ran to find someone to make it happen. Order that at the bar, they gave me the whole its late but we will do it for you shpeal, there was a miscommunication about what i wanted vs what they sell, but they accomodated me. Saved my week. Dont expect them to do this for everyone, but they got the spot as my new favorite steak house in town.

Went there before a Get the Led Out concert at the Florida Theatre Mar. 16, 2018 excellent service and beer selection. They also bailed me out by watching my pocketknife while at the concert.

I tried their beer right at the beginning about 3+ years ago when they first started, 4 different styles and the first thing I thought was how all similar they tasted. Well here we are 4 years or so later and they all still taste the same, obviously they cant figure it out but still a notch better than River City BP, the sorriest in Jax.
