We brought in a broken computer Thursday evening. We paid a pretty large repair fee, but they shipped it across the country, replaced the screen, and then shipped it back to our home Saturday morning!!! The turn-around time was fabulous. The techs at the store were also very helpful as well.

Was at the Apple Store on River City Rd in Jacksonville, Fla. I drove from GA to get a new battery put in my IPad. The guy who greeted me on Saturday 10/23/2021 at 3:45 pm was very rude with his response, as if he didn’t want to deal with me. He needs an attitude check and possibly a new job if he doesn’t want to deal with customers. I walked in Happy and left rather upset!!!

The absolute worst customer service I have every encountered. THE EMPLOYEES ARE UNNECESSARILY RUDE! I was appalled yesterday at how I was treated by the staff. When I walked in I was sent to the “watch table” and no one took my name, after 20 minutes I had to go ask someone to help me. He was not friendly and sent me to a man who was literally hiding behind a sign so he didn’t have to help people and then complained to me about not getting a lunch break. Apple has gone downhill and I will never stop foot in their stores again. Honestly i am ready to look at leaving Apple after all these year, Google here u come

I had a case that was defective 3 months after I got it. Took me a few months to get here because of the pandemic. It’s still under warranty but the damage got to a point they wouldn’t do anything for me even though other parts of the case with damage would be covered. It obviously is a defective case. The employee even agreed and wouldn’t do anything to help. I’m currently an Apple guy. My business and family all have Apple products. I’m questioning my brand chose because their unfair practices.

Everything it would take 30 plus minutes.Did recycled 3 machines ( Desktop, IPad and MacBookPro), it took a while for someone to help me to erase one of the computers.Plus when they did, the 3rd person that tried, they didn’t show a confirmation that they deleted.After all of that, I was interested on look the new computers to potentially buy it, but it would be taking another 30 minutes :)Good luck and be ready to wait.

This store is the worst. You have to have an appointment just to shop. It’s complete chaos. I made an appointment for my computer repair, showed up a little early, then was turned away until my actual appointment time. Once I went back, I waited over 45 minutes and finally checked back with someone, to then realize I wasn’t even checked in with their system! Appointments aren’t easy to come by ask they’re booked a few weeks in advance. Hope you won’t ever have to go in!

An hour drive for me to get there was wasted. No reason on earth that you should have to make an appointment to walk in a store and buy a computer when you already know what you want. Never again!

When I went in for my appt. the service technician was working simultaneously with 2 other customers at the same time. I knew I wasn’t getting the service I made an appt for. So I asked to speak to the manager. He came over and simply said they are very busy and must help multiple people at the same time. Then to make it worse when I went back for my replacement ipad, the technician simply opened the box with the iPad I paid for and didn’t test it or plug it in. When I came home the iPad would not charge. I feel as if they simply plugged it in to do a basic power test I wouldn’t now be dealing with another defective iPad.

I came in for my work laptop that just died out and was only 6 months old. Chaz helped me at the Genius Bar and I was in and out within 30 minutes of my appointment. Chaz was super knowledgeable, courteous, kept good conversation, and got what needed to be done, done. My laptop ended up needing to be sent out and was covered under warranty. Got my laptop back within 2 days. If you ever go to this location, make sure you ask for Chaz and always buy Apple care.

I had an appointment this morning and I was greeted at the door by Brian. I had made a shopping appointment because I had gotten a new MacBook Pro online. I couldn’t figure out how to make the type bigger so I brought the computer with in hopes that someone could show me how to do it. Brian, while speaking to me in a condescending manner said I needed to see someone at the Genius Bar and I could do that at 2:00. It was 10:30. That was the best he could do. He said there was no one available to help me. Meanwhile, the store wasn’t busy and there were young people with iPads standing all around. I told him I wanted to see the person I had made a shopping appointment with. He told me to wait and he would send someone over. The young lady that came to help me couldn’t have been nicer. I explained my dramarama and she took me to a table and asked me to sit down. She brought a genius over to me immediately. His name was Dylan and he was terrific. He showed me what I couldn’t figure out and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Brian should go work somewhere that he enjoys. Obviously his entitlement issues get in his way and he has no respect for senior citizens. I bet if I was an 18 year old hottie I would have had a completely different experience. I give Brian minus 10 stars and Dylan plus 10.

3 January 2019: 5:00 PM iPhone editing course with Jakumi.Great class again from Apple. Started promptly and covered little known features for photo editing and photo sharing. The editing tools focused on what comes standard on the iPhone. Some of the better tools are available only on the newest iPhones though all iPhones do have some capabilities to edit and fix your photos. The seating area was plentiful and use of the main video board help facilitate the class. Jakumi was also able to answer questions during the class and still finish on time. The two best gestures of the class was learning how to share photos with the cloud and invite others to also share photos to the same album. This would allow multiple people at a party to collaborate and share photos with the group in real time. The second near feature was the PS photo shop app. This allows people with older iPhones to still create high quality photos. Highly recommend everyone sign up and take this class.31 December 2018: 4:00-5:00Another awesome class at the Apple store with Jakumi. In this lesson we got to learn to how to code with robots using the iPad app Swift Playground”. The store is great in that they even provide you with the iPad to use. I highly recommend taking the learn to code part 1 first to understand the basics. That being said Jakumi was able to still walk me and another group of kids through the more advanced class. At some points I didn’t understand the code and commands and how the robot would move but I think this may be something I just need to play around with more. When the class ended Jakumi showed me on iTunes University free materials to learn how to code. Great job Apple. I am impressed.30 December 2018 class at Apple Store with Jakumi. In this class we learned how to make video using the “clips”. This was a informative class and the instructor made learning the new app relatively easy. The use of the main video board allowed all the users to easily see Jakumi navigate the app and allowed us to easily follow along. The instructor was knowledgeable on the topic and able to answer questions that we had. I reccomend him for future Today at Apple classes.29 December 2018: Frustrating day today. I signed up for a 10:30 Garage Band course this morning from Apple. I arrived at the store at 10:15 and didn’t see anyone setting up. At 10:30 no announcements had been made for the class. This is the second time I have signed up for a class and it was cancelled. With no notice. The first time was for a class where they made an announcement, I moved to the table where the Apple Genius was and was never acknowledged. The class was just cancelled. So far I have had two classes canceled and two classes which were actually conducted. It’s frustrating because the classes are informative but Apple needs to have timely announcements (if any are made at all) and stick with their schedule. For the two classes that did occur they started exactly on time which was impressive. If Apple can fix this issue I will give them five stars for the class. I will try again for a class at 5:30 PM. Fingers crossed.

Funny, wife goes to buy the new i pad pro, at the store a genius, asked what she needs and she tells him, he say you need to make an appointment, she does, later she comes for the appointment, they let her in, once in the store the genius says, you are 5 minutes early and you have to wait outside, she does, 5 minutes later the genius lets her in, once in the genius asks what are you here for, she says i pad pro, the genius says we dont have none go to target, the moral of the story, it does not take a genius to say, we doent have the item, instead of doing that to a customer, how dumb can does genius be.

Such an amazing feeling getting Apple products. There were 4 security officers and there wasnt a line. I made my order over the phone but it wasnt processed when I got there. Had iphone 12 unlocked, and iPad pro investigated as to what is available for extras. The entire existence was about 3 hours. I was told about the iPad pro, basically outdated and they sell nothing for it. Rather than attempt to update my equipment I was pushed out the door to wait for my phone appointment. I would have been very pleased to purchase an upgraded model and they should have taken care of phone in 1 trip in. Nobody cares about the customers time or end result. Just a cattle mill.

If you have problems with your Apple Watch interfacing with your iPhone DO NOT go to this location. They TOTALLY crashed my iPhone to the point that it was frozen on a screen I had never seen before. So far I have worked with Apple Support on computer chat support and on verbal phone support for approximately twenty (20) hours and my phone still isnt like it was before. They had to reload my phone which totally WIPED OUT EVERYTHING and reset ALL of my switches to factory default. I have an appt. with the Apple Genius to help me with that since it has been over 4 years since I looked at any of it and need some of the switches explained to me since it has been so long that I have forgotten exactly what some of the switched do. Well see how that goes.

Given the current situation of the pandemic Apple has a very careful approach to things. The store was very strategically socially distanced and masks were everywhere to be seen. My only issue was the excessively rude rent-a-cops managing outside. They are not helpful and didn’t listen to me for why I was there. But overall pleasant experience.

Went out to the location, and found out you need an appointment to have a technician see you. Went to the apple website to get an appointment, and there are no appointments available. Went on hold for an hour to talk to someone about getting an appointment: no one picked up. Got the problem resolved elsewhere.Fast forward to today: I was trying to purchase a new MacBook and thought that I would be able to get an appointment to pick up a laptop. But the Apple website says the store is no longer open for pickup. Very sad.

We made a walk-in appointment and got in. That was great considering the pandemic. Fine to wait to be seen. But what didn’t make sense was we were a sale. Wanting to look at accessories and items. We live out of town and don’t get to visit an Apple store as we don’t have one local.We waited and waited for a sales associate. There were at least 6-8 associates not waiting on customers. Even if that wasn’t their job, I am not sure why they couldn’t step out of the position they were supposed to be in to see if they could make a sale.

I was not happy with the way Apple staff handled my laptop. I took it for an appointment around December, during my winter break. And had an issue with my brand new 2020 MacBook Air and the space bar. Space bar was squeaky badly. They had it “fixed” in 2 hours, said it was resolved. I came home 30 mins later same issue I had. They did literally nothing to fix it. And when I tried to schedule another appointment there was no time slot . Thank you for wasting my time.....

Entered the store, stood at the entrance visible to an obviously available employee. I looked at him in the eyes, he immediately pretended he didnt see me and started aligning some cables on the table and didnt approach to help me at all, so I thought okay... lets go a little bit farther and find another person. First off, if you ever show up to an Apple store without an appointment and expect to be helped at the Genius Bar, then youre gonna have a bad time. BUT if you come with an appointment or can appreciate some help from the non-Genius staff (by title, not intellect) then I think youll enjoy the St. Johns town center Apple store.During the CoVID times, we were able to grab our online order in a little under 5 minutes without ever having to enter the store. It was super nice and easy!Previously, Ive been for a Genius appointment and the staff was always really helpful and knowledgeable. They also have useful recommendations outside of get a new device when support options may not work for you (aka. hella pricey repairs.)

My sons iPhone was dropped of at this location for repair June 22, 2020. They gave us loaner phone to use.Repair complete, loaner phone not working (same issue original phone had), original phone sitting in closed building since July 27,2020. No one reached out prior to closing to say we have to close our location for an unknown timeframe, your phone is ready for pickup!I want my property! Apple customer service has done nothing to aid this situation.If you have nothing better to do you can call them to explain the situation, may take about 1 1/2 hours each phone call to get to an actual person who says they will return your call, do research, etc...Please pull all my phone conversations, Im not joking! Well I must say, as soon as we walked in the new apple store location it was so many red shirts and people. I never been inside this location so I asked the security guard, I think his name was Charles who was extremely helpful how do we get assistance for purchasing a device. He explained and waved down a employee who was able to assist me, my mom and sister. Anthony our sales man was perfect also! Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and down to earth. He made my moms Birthday celebration present absolutely perfect! So I must say she is going to enjoy her new equipment! And I just want to thank Anthony and The security guard Charles for helping us! Wonderful customer service! I went in here to upgrade my iPhone and the employees were very helpful. They guided me through the whole process and were very friendly. As for the prices, they are very expensive... But they are Apple. Other then then expensive pricing the place was great. The store was very clean and there was tons of employees ready to assist you when you need help. This is definitely one of the better tech stores in Jacksonville and I recommend it to anyone.

I had a great experience with Whitney. My MacBook Pro had some issues with the keyboard and she quickly took a look into it and fixed it. Much faster service than the old store at the town center.

Apples inconsistent employees and system just cost me almost $400 today. I lost my trade in credit of $250, my $30 sprint deal and I have to spend $50 to go buy a SIM card tomorrow from T-Mobile (taxi plus T-Mobile fee) 😟 The ONLY way to get a refund or exchange to rectify this is by mail. I don’t want to deal with it so I’ll just eat the freaking cost I guess. Apple is not very helpful anymore. The customer service and lack of concern that everyone has shown me today is quite disheartening.

This may be more on Apple’s systems than this specific store, but they need to get their s**t together. Through their Support app, I made a Genius reservation for my 2011 iMac only to be told when I showed up for my appointment that they no longer service my iMac in Apple Stores because it is obsolete and they no longer carry the tools to be able to work on it all. What is the point of them having the Apple Support app where they have a record of all of my registered Apple devices? In the week+ between when I made my reservation through the app and showed up for it, they should of flagged this and notified me that they no longer service iMacs like mine instead of letting me waste my time carrying an almost 40lb iMac half a mile (parking was packed like it was Pre-COVID). That is D+ at best customer service only cause I don’t fault the one employee there I spoke to cause he wasn’t an Apple Genius either way. Do better Apple.

Security was polite and the facilities is quite committed to safety, considering the nations status with the pandemic. long of the short - the security tried to assist me with my issue by having dialogue back and forth with an apple employee. They were unable to help me because the apple employee didnt know how to help me. after that I left. no fault of the security at all.

They only know computers. NO customer service training. DO NOT expect a good experience. But like ALL chains, they dont care about being helpful as they have millions of customers and if they lose a few million .. who cares?
