Rowes is a great supermarket. There prices are better than average. They have extensive international foods as well as a great seafood Department. The Meat is better than a lot of other stores. Definitely worth a visit if you have never been before

Shopping here is always a pleasure! The ethic nature of the products makes picking each meal an adventure in discovering new things. The meat department also does a great job!

Great store. I have been visiting from Canada and prefer to do my shopping here. I love to cook meals from other countries and i am able to find brands that i use at home that are consider imports here and in Canada.Plus I like the prices.Staff are friendly and helpful.Keep up the great work.

I just want to comment today about one of the Cashiers me and my wife encountered. Ariana, she has absolutely no customer service what so ever!! Gave her some personal bag for me and my wife’s grocery and i can instantly tell she did not like it rolling her eyes and “ sigh “ taking deep breaths like she hates her job.. absolutely horrible Customare service.

This location is better than the other ones on Blanding etc. Its better in that its not as crowded. As far as everything else its the same. Its not my favorite place to go to but unfortunately you can only get certain spices etc here.

It was a surprising discovery of a Caribbean supermarket. I didn’t have time to take my time to see what they have. Hispanic and Caribbean stuff mixed together a lot of different brands compared to what I’m use to. It’s a clean venue and many choices of Caribbean foods.

Good place to find Mexican, Caribbean and South American products.

A couple years ago ..the store was run down and smelled of old meat so I never went bck ..to my surprise I visited yesterday and Im glad I did ..the store looked great ..smelled great ..and fresh snapper on sale .. Im going back soon ..i stopped by to grab some hard dough bread ..tuti..and ackee...happy I did ..and the checkout is quick..5 stars

I love to get my meat here! I dont currently live in Jacksonville, but when I visit family there I always stop on my way home to purchase meat. The prices are excellent! The meat always looks fresh, and the store doesnt stink of meat smell. The employees are professional. The store is always clean.

Had a great experience. Good meat at very good prices. Staff is very nice and I could not possibly care less if someone had their mask down. I cannot believe someone gave the whole operation a One Tar rating because some employee had their mask down. Sad.

Soul food, Mexican, Asian, Indian, South American, Caribbean, German, this is the place to find international ingredients. Prices on most things very reasonable. Its always pretty crowded.

I had a great experience shopping except for the fact the girl in the front of self checkout not only made my sister and I feel rushed but also was grabbing stuff out of cart and scanning it for us while we were scanning. Also had a bit of an attitude did not appreciate that. I think her name was syrea or something like that. But over all great place.

Love the hot food area. The workers are so nice and fun to talk to. The food is amazing as well and very affordable. One of my very few things I love in the city during this crazy time.

Meat is priced fair and good quality. Produce priced fairly, good but not great quality. Wonderful variety. Great sea food fresh wide selection. Many hard to find items elsewhere in the store. Prices on average higher than average competitive stores still cheaper than Winn Dixie. The one stop shop for island or Mexican recipes. I will return.

Its a good espanic food store, if thats what you are looking for. They have a good bit of stuff. I went in there by accident.

Recently moved to Florida and was going grocery shopping and came across this place. Lower budget market with a big selection of meat fresh fish and fresh produce. Picked up some items Id normally get at Publix for 30% more. Some good bargain prices. Id have given 5 Stars but they dont carry Boars Head deli selections which is why I dont shop at Walmart or Winn Dixie and opt to spend more at Publix.

Excellent variety of Caribbean items.Deli department offer very poor service. I was in the deli department customer line waiting for about 15 min, I was looking for a papa rellena from the counter. Another customer in front of me was waiting too. One lady ( customer) apparently daughter of another deli employee called the woman ‘mami’ and said out loud, “I want an empanada and one papa rellena”, the employee stopped working to help the customer. When finished she returned to the kitchen and left me standing there. I was in shock because she helped the lady in front and then completely ignored me. After this, I waited around 5 more minutes, however, not one employee came up to me. Also the food counter was half empty at the lunch time.As a retail manager I can recommend to the supervisors you don’t need employee’s like that.

Great grocery. Food from over the world, meats, seafood, all meats and cooked foods, lunch etc, all fruit and vegetables. Being from South Florida, I was glad this store opened here.

Decent meat prices but watch out! So we grind/cut our own meat now and buy in bulk and package it ourselves. We noticed with the meat, like chicken breast, that they weigh the packaging when charging the customer! We noticed this when weighing out cut and ground meats. We weighed the whole meat by itself and then with the plastic absorbance pads and styrofoam. The weight of the meat was less than what the package said, and with the packaging it was correct. We were shocked. We tested this several timed. Maybe they have a newbie in the meat department or maybe they are just duping customers a little at this location? Who knows. It would be nice if all employees wore masks because we went early and many of them do not. Other than that we love the variety of products there that are hard to find elsewhere.

This store serves well the Hispanic, and African communities by offering many selections not found anywhere in Jax.

What a place to come to if you dont know what you want! Such a large variety of ethnic products! Every aisle will have you immersed in the thought creating something new everyday and will allow you to plan what you want to eat or drink ahead of time. Theres delicious already cooked products as well as frozen items that look fresh. Theres so many options at this location the place is always packed, its hard to focus on the things you went into get. The aisles are a little small because of the dense population of items packed into this store! You wont get bored coming here and will keep coming back because of the unbeatable prices!

I have no idea of the number of products in their inventory. If you cannot locate what you are seeking the very friendly help will help you look for it. If they do not carry the item, they will get it placed in their inventory.Remarkable customer setvice!

This store is the go-too for lots of international food products. Staff is often Helpful. I must say; The Seafood Department Staff!!! All! Needs Customer Service Training. Seafood isn’t cheap, therefore, I don’t like to be treated like; They are there.. To Do Me A FAVOR... Blanding Store..I’m sure each employee Applied for their Job. I believe in Accountability... Please! I enjoy shopping there, but Hate! The Seafood Department “Customer Service” Needs some Improvement.

Was here on 12/21/20 and young cashier name Christian refused to pull up mask on face, he stated, he didnt have to because he got the vaccination, he spoke Spanish to the cashier next to him, whom also didnt have her mask pulled up, after exchanging a few words again with him, he suspended my transaction to go speak with the front end manager I assume. If the store policy, which is posted on the door to wear a mask, that means your employees should be abiding by the rules also.And another thing, English is the American language, your employees should practice using it so we all understand the conversation. Keep your germs to yourself .Carry on !!!

Nice store I like their tea, fruit and hot bar. Very nice and fresh their is a staff by the name of Melissa she is amazing, helpful and just a very pleasant person . She could run that place if she was in that position. Hands down to the company for hiring such an amazing person we need more people like her in groceries stores.

This supermarket is a GHETTO store, especially the one on Blanding Blvd. and I am no talking about the people that go there to try to save some money on things that you can get at the same price at other places. I am talking about the employees, like the huge butt nasty cashier, she is so rude, that is why I do not want to go to this store anymore.

Bright, well lit and clean. The uprades were noticed. I will be back soon.

I have to admit I made my first visit a few weeks ago and I was impressed with the inventory, and the staff.

This is my go-to grocery store for Lebanon bologna (deli meat). Large variety of ethnic food. Great prices and selection of meats as well as produce.

I’ve never been more disappointed by a grocery store. I got a rotisserie chicken that had a dirty dish rag taste to it and was inedible. A watermelon that was rotten when cut open. Totally overpriced in general and an all around bad experience. Will not be back.

I can get good quality and quantity of meat for a good price. Customer service in the meat department is ok but could be a lot better. Although I speak Spanglish lol not everyone does so I offten see individuals who dont get frustrated and even leave due to that problem. But over all its a pretty good store but no business is without its areas of improvement

This store was an absolute delight today. The people were friendly the store was clean and organized. It was every meat I could think of in every vegetable I could Imagine. It was a one stop shop for all Food. I will be visiting here on a normal. I was very impressed. And I grocery shop for home and a child care facility while we cook home-cooked meals. This place just gained a new customer.

I usually love this store but this employee that works there is VERY rude... ALL of the time... He goes by the name of MAVI... Today he was using the push broom.. While I was looking at the cheese trying to decide he just stood there with the push broom RIGHT beside my feet etc... Who does this.... He needs to get his self together... Frfr... Charlie in seafood is very helpful and respectful..im not sure what the other ladys name is in seafood but she is awesome VERY helpful she has blonde hair usually back in a pony tail... Just get rid of MAVI and this store will be 100% on POINT

Nice store only dislike is their selfcheck out.It calls the price out on every item.

Went in on 12/20/20 and found a bunch of molded potatoes, all the bags had moisture in them and most of them had a couple potatoes with white mold grown on it... Id stay away from their vegetables, and if you get their meat be careful, EVERYTHING expires within three and maybe four days

Regular place for picking up green bananas. Also pick up other groceries while there. Get lamb and goat meat also if priced well.

I would rather drive 10 extra mile to another store that has real check-out cashiers than to waste my time checking out a buggy full of groceries. Rowes, you have dropped the ball as far as I am concerned.

I do not shop here, but I take care of an 80 yr old elder. She shops and I took her. What I notice 1st clean, order, friendly staff, helpful! Shocked, we went to Beach Blvd location!!

The one thing I love about Rowe’s is the various international food stuff that you might not get anywhere else and they’re always located in convenient points

Employees dont wear the mask!!!!One manager (tall/white) saw me looking in condiments and he ask me if everything was ok. And i tell him i cant understand why Employees dont wear mask(?) And he just left saying nothing..🙄We was talking w a Employees just about a second ago and she dont have the mask at all!! He look like isnt important..So mad.. never going there again

I gave it a 3 stars would have 4 but I notice since Grand Opening there are less Mgmt visibility. Store is nicely displayed and layer out. Very eye catching, I could get in trouble in here but I came on opening day and I found some of the meats were not fresh after I had freeze it and when I went to cook or use something I purchase I was not please with the quality or the end results. I brought a pkg of salt pork it was sour, yes sour. I brought Roast beef from deli 1-1/2, lbs I ended up giving it away taste was not right. Roast beef is not cheap by no means. Rowe has increased their prices tremendously especially the Meat dept. The chicken pkg I purchase was slithering like maybe oil on it but I know that wasnt the case. When I separated it it felt slithering. I smelt it it didnt smell spoil or bad but it could be brand or manufacturer. The company that you get it from you may want to take notice. Now lets talk about how expensive it is to shop for meats. Theyre not reasonable for me when you have abundance of merchandise and paying prices like we are shopping at that other store down the street. I get you have to pass the cost over to your consumer but yall have gotten expensive. Omg! the price of your Oxtails way over my budget. I always brought my Oxtails from beach blvd but over the last 2 yrs I cant afford to even by small pack. $19. really and family pack over $35. Nah my family wont be eating them especially at those prices. I rather go without. I never see Meat Specials in your Meat Department.Need to reevaluate your Wholesale Merchant who you purchase from. If your buying bulk you should be paying cheaper prices where you can pass it on to your Valuable Customers.Overall the Store, Staff and Appearance is right on. Keep up the Great work youre Investing in. The neighborhood needs more stores like yours. Get more for you buck.The only thing I wish to see is Affordable shopping prices.

This was recommended by local Puerto Rican’s for the place to shop for PR food items. As a southerner I grew up with IGA and they were always the ones who had local and traditional foods no one else stocked. It is so neat to see that for not only southern foods, but also Caribbean and Central American Latin, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and particularly surprising Filipino food. Wow so great to have this place instead of having to haul to Orlando!!!!

Part of my work history includes cutting meat for about 10 years. I go to Rowes to buy steaks, ribs, etc and I think its the best quality and bang for the buck. Today, I tried a chicken pot pie from there and I was impressed. Very delicious and at that sweet price!

They have everything that you can think of in this supermarket. Lots of island trinkets. AND they are ALWAYS open, even on Christmas day.

I ordered king and jumbo crabs legs and had them steamed. I made it all the way home and the crab legs was way over cooked. Very tough. You can look at it and tell it is overcooked. It was such an inconvenience to have to waste my gas and go back up to the store. Do not get your seafood steamed at the location on Beach Blvd. Go to the one on Wells Road. I will most likely never go back here. One bad experience is all is takes.
