Honestly, I hate to give such a low score because the person who taught the class is awesome and the class was extremely informative. The problem was the insanely tiny room that we were all crammed into. Even in normal times, it would have been considered incredibly inconsiderate to hold a class that large in a room that small. The room that we were in was literally about 15 ft by 10 ft and there were approximately 15 people in there for about 2 hours. On top of that, we are in the middle of the pandemic unfortunately, and no one was even asked to wear a mask. Out of the approximately 15 people in the class, three of us were wearing masks. I did make the decision to stay because I did not want to lose my money that I had already paid for the class. I decided to hope that my vaccinated status and my mask would protect me enough. I am only writing this review so that people understand the physical classroom situation that they will be in when they arrive if they take the concealed weapons permit class at the Gun Gallery. I had no idea that we would be crammed in a tiny room and that almost no one would be wearing masks. Nor did I expect them to require masks.

Today I bought an AR-15 9 mm from Rob at gun Gallery and it was a wonderful experience. He took the time to talk to me about the gun show me why the gun does this and why the gun does that. He went over everything and it was very much appreciated Im a customer for life because of Rob.

I went on a Saturday, with my son and we had a blast. It appeared to be a nice safe place to go. The staff was remarkably nice and polite, as were the other customers. I think good customers are a reflection of a good business.

1st time at this indoor range. Both the older and younger guy seemed friendly enough. No steel case ammo allowed but that’s probably most indoor ranges. Not bad I’ll be back.

So today we went to the rifle range Ive always enjoyed coming here I love the environment my buddy which is the much older guy hes always in good spirit. But today theres this one kid Ive never seen there seem to have had his chest pumped out, which I paid it no attention went on about my day went to the range and had fun upon leaving my cousin discovered around in his case which he put in his magazine and was closing it up he runs in there and asks did you shoot these on the range with an attitude knowing I had purchased plenty ammo from them. We leave pay for our visit and my cousin asked me did that guy seem like he had a problem with us I told him yes but I dont let those kind of kids steal my joy they come in the industry as if they know everything but no need to pay them any attention but if you have people like this at your business Im sure it will detour a lot of people who are not used to coming on the range. After that visit he says to me if hes there next time Id rather go somewhere else hint hint tell him to lose the attitude and stop acting like hes the big shot hopefully he sees this

Was in there this past weekend, Gordon started to help me and in the middle of me asking him a question he walked off as if he had somewhere better to be. Rich and another younger guy came up and helped with the rest of my questions.

Everyone has an epic beard haha! Seriously though I just moved here from MI and they helped me through the whole form 4 process on their kiosk and they have pretty much everything you need in the way of quality gun accessories(no cheap garbage) They also give a veterans discount on high end optics and some select guns. Dont listen to the other review that said theyre overpriced. All the prices are either at market value or slightly cheaper. My only gripe is that they dont let you shoot steel cased ammo but some ranges will let you with a $5 upcharge on range use but that is my only small gripe and not enough to take off a star. Overall great place to pick up my AR parts and accessories.

The rifle and pistol range are great. Been coming for years, but your weapons are way too far over priced. Would’ve bought today but a standard pistol on your counter versus the same weapon from an online dealer was a difference of $153. Hope to see a difference eventually but it’s doubtful. Will continue patronage, but I doubt I will ever come here to purchase a firearm again.

This place is AMAZING, if I could give 10 stars I would. The people there are very professional and educated about firearms. The gentleman named Randy helped me, he was extremely patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. He gave important details about firearm safety and provided demonstrations for me because I’m a visual learner and his way of teaching helped me understand. After I selected the firearm, Randy took the time to thoroughly explain the components of it and then I went in the back to the range. It was a great experience, EVERYONE there was helpful, very kind and willing to answer any questions I had. Highly recommend this place, I received EXCELLENT service. Thank you Randy, 10 stars for you.

Best gun shop ever, professional staff5 stars

Came here with a friend - basically 2 girls with minimal knowledge about guns, looking for a first time gun for home defense. We came on a busy Saturday, but the staff were incredibly patient, friendly, and helpful. We were able to try a couple different guns on the range to figure out which one felt best, and the staff came out several times to check on us and give us pointers. I was very nervous to go to a gun shop as a novice (and a girl) but the Gun Gallery staff never made either of us feel uncomfortable or like we were wasting their time. We have gone back several times to use our range pass and every time it is a fun friendly experience. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, especially for first time gun owners.

This was a super fun experience with my friend. It was a birthday thing. We have never done this on our own, nor did we have much experience with guns. The guys at the front desk really helped us out and were super cool about informing us about the best way to hold a gun and the right weight and feel you need to have to be comfortable holding shooting etc. The staff made us feel comfortable. Thanks a bunch for the fun experience. We will be back!!

Wont answer the phone and over priced anyway, just lookin for some smokeless powder or primers and cant get ahold of anyone. Better off going to an outdoor range, more options less hassle.

Not a big selection, however they offer in for range for a multitude of weapons, and great gear.

Extremely overpriced, they will charge 4 x more for an item without telling you that youre getting ripped off.

My friend and I first time at a gun range with no prior knowledge of guns, we were introduced to handguns by Rob. He was very knowledgeable, patient and gave us all the safety information, our experience was excellent and well above expectations. Its been well over 15 yrs since Ive own or even shot a handgun. This was my first visit to this range and I can assure you, I was a bit nervous. Yet, the staff was very helpful and patient with me. I had a wonderful time after getting over the initial shock of being in the range. The staff answered all my questions even though the answers were posted, yet like I said, I was a bit nervous.Im truly looking forward in spending more time there. The price for the range and the ammo was good and after my range time my conversation with the staff was great. I like the no time limit range which allowed me to settle down and take my time. Im sure the guy was being polite by saying my shots on the target was great, but nevertheless, it encourages me to return. Thanks guys for helping an old gun owner to get back on the horse.Looking forward to getting on the schedule for a concealed weapons cert. Keep up the friendly environment.

I had a couple of pistols transferred here and everything went smoothly. Very good custumer service, professional. They had very few guns for sale but thats to be expected right now. I also used the pistol range and it was very nice. Didnt have to wait to get in or anything. I would definitely recommend Gun Gallery.

If you are looking for an FFL that will ship guns dont come here. Go to US Patriot Firearms. These guys will give you some nonsense about how Duval county has some kind of rule that creates a liability bla, bla, bla. Patriot does outbound FFL transfers without a problem. If you are active duty and transfering out and you need to ship your guns home, US Patriot Firearms is the place to go.

I love the courteous service, knowledgeable staff, and ability to provide you information or find a particular weapon when you are looking. I was happy to see them ask someone to leave the range for unsafe behavior. Ranges are clean and well maintained, but wish the parking lot was larger.

Meh. I have been here multiple times and some employees tone is nasty, condescending, and short. Even when I make purchases their demeanor is get the F out my store.

1 hour 45 minutes waiting on the range, multiple people who came in after we did got put in front of us. Knowledgeable staff and friendly; however, terrible wait.They need to adapt, you should easily be able to make appointments either over the phone or preferably online with a deposit to prevent no shows. You cant even get someone on the phone to see how busy they are.

Not a bad range. We were looking to purchase a family membership but then we ended up leaving a little earlier than normal because of the poor ventilation. Was told at the counter that its a lot better than it use to be and that there were a lot of shooters in today. Not sure if thats a valid excuse for it but ok. Will probably check it out again on slower days but Sundays are my Gundays.

Range has no time limit during a pandemic. Was Told the wait was 20 min. After 90 min we left. Have spent a lot of money in this store, never again. When asked about a time frame the gent had an attitude . I try to support family owned local businesses but these guys won’t see another dime from me

They really need to send employees to a class on customer service . The older gentleman in the rifle range part is so rude . What is wrong with you guys ? You think because it’s a gun range / store you don’t need skills in customer service. I notice every time I go to the rifle range . It’s no good morning / or welcome . It’s “ sit all ammo on the counter “. It’s no need to be hostile or so serious. You make us customers feel uncomfortable and not welcomed!! I truly hope you guys read this and make a change. But for now I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

One stop shop, even able to complete suppressor application in store, and gun purchases come with a nice bonus of first month free range time. I did pay little more up front for the gun purchase, but if you consider free range time and lifetime warranty they throw in, it more than covers the difference. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again... nice to have this spot in town.

Outstanding gun shop/range.We dealt with Coy (i believe) older guy that carried revolver and he basically spent an entire 30 minutes making sure my husband and I understood our new guns. I will go no where else from now on!

This was a great experience. I took my fiancee here today for her first time shooting, and the staff was friendly and professional. They were also quiet helpful and unassuming.The pistol shooting range is well maintained and well air conditioned. Everything is quiet intuitive and the staff gives you space rather than trying to unnecessarily correct you. They do have security cameras that they monitor at all times so there is safety and accountability.I overheard them talking to some first time shooters there who were nervous and the staff was being very reassuring and helpful with them.Everything is reasonably priced and they seem to have a great selection.I would recommend to anybody.

Went in for a brief look a round and greated by smiling staff. They were very helpful and ended up picking up some extra ammo and getting help with my iron sights.Great first time experience and highly recommend.

Air conditioned range, but smells like it’s not ventilated well. Staff is hit or miss, most are great and knowledgeable, but 1 staff member thinks he’s something special and doesn’t talk to customers right. Remember, we’re the customers, you’re just a store clerk.

Much more friendlier than on target, their manager called and yelled at me for not leaving them a 5 star review. Here at gun gallery these guys will happily deal with people who are first timers to professionals and all with the goal of getting you whats best for you you, not just trying to sell product.

This range does not make safety a priority. I like the range and the employees are all friendly, but they need to enforce range safety better. I see new shooters in here able to rent a firearm with little or no explanation of range rules. There is not a range safety officer watching the lanes all the time. I have seen someone handle a loaded firearm with her finger on the trigger turn around and cross the line. Scary to be around inexperienced shooters who have no understanding of the rules.

Amazing all around service

Really awesome location to practice shooting. Came here a couple weeks ago for my first time shooting. The staff are very chill and helpful. You can buy ammo here and rent out a variety of guns. The best part is there is no time limit for being out on the range.

This has become my home away from home. Every staff member is more than willing to answer any questions you might have, along with provide help or advice too. They go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and happy. I definitely recommend this range to anyone regardless of their experience level. If you have never even handled a gun before, they will be right there every step of the way to make sure you are being safe, and can feel comfortable learning at the same time. For the experienced, follow the rules, and you will not be bothered in the slightest. All around great environment for getting some range time in, or shopping to add to your collection. They give a 30 day range pass with every handgun or rifle purchase, a major bonus, other dealers do not offer. I went to another range (who will stay nameless), where they breathe down your neck, and constantly forced tips at me, even while I fired my weapon down range! For me, that preschool watchful eye type of range, made me feel like everything I did was wrong, even though I followed every rule to the T. Gun gallery has never once made me feel anything but at ease, which allowed me the opportunity to build a strong passion for guns and rifles. I now feel confident in my ability to handle a weapon, and am more prepared now if a situation were to occur. They have been supportive of any need or question I have had, and made a customer for life out of me!!!

They are rude, broke my sight on my hand gun then argued with me! There concealed class is a joke some video from 1970s & no explanation on the laws on carrying. Go to shooters if you wanna be taken seriously or anywhere else but here! Shooters class is great very informative!

Great range, but I wish the handgun range had better lighting. Its way too dark, and the first 15 yards are in complete darkness, light hits the target once you push it all the way to the back.So my recommendation to the owners, paint the gun range white and install better LED lighting, other then that its a great range.

Purchased a handgun from here a few weeks ago. The staff was very helpful and attentive when I described what I was looking for and they made several recommendations based on my budget. The staff also helped me look for accessories and aftermarket upgrades for my purchase as well. They were also very professional and straightforward about the transaction process. No doubt, I will definitely be coming back to this shop for any of my firearms needs.

I like the fact that you can rent various guns and see how they fit your hand and how they feel to shoot to ensure you get the right one for you. Also, the 2 gentlemen, Bryan and Im sorry but I dont remember the other ones name, were extremely helpful, they politely answered all my questions without ever talking down to me or telling me what I wanted. They patiently explained everything on the guns, the options, the take-down, types of ammo, carry options, and more. I never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. I would definitely recommend this store, plus they have a nice pistol and rifle range.

Concealed weapons class was great. They actually teach you how to shoot a firearm and have a supervised shooting session with 25 rounds per person. They will let you rent a gun for the shooting session for no extra charge.They allow double taps in their indoor range.

I always go to the Rifle Range to shoot. Ive never had a bad experience there. Sometimes theres a wait, but its worth it. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Gun Gallery!

Fantastic staff, reasonable prices, good range, awful wait times.Seriously, the only reason I cant give Gun Gallery a full-fledged five stars on their review is because, well, the wait for the lanes at the ranges is bonkers.On one hand, when its your turn, youre allowed to shoot to your hearts content. On the other hand, when youre waiting, you feel like it might take forever. Theres no time limit on how long one can shoot, so its a bit of a double-edged sword.In terms of service, though, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I bought my Century Arms C39v2 from them and felt like a valued customer during the entire transaction... a far cry from certain other Jacksonville gun stores.Highly recommended!

Their prices are fair, but their service is the best I have seen in Jacksonville. Got to rent a gun l was considering purchasing .Only $10 to rent the gun. Range fees were $13 and $19 for 50 rounds of 45s. I got to compare the Smith & Wesson M&P 45 Shield against my dads old Colt 1911 45. I think I will save my money and get my own 1911.I think I will go back and see if they have a Springfield Marine Operator 1911 in rental. Maybe I will like it better than the Shield. But had a great time at the range.I could shoot all day!

If you are looking for a reasonable gun and a very good experience with customer service then Gun Gallery is the place for you I had the best experience for a beginner and being a woman they did not treat me no different they told me everything I need to know and they have the gun range right here for you to shoot any weapon you would like to learn how to shoot or purchase. And every Wednesday night they have the class for you to take to get your gun sealed license at a reasonable price I myself have nothing bad to say about Gun Gallery on Beach Boulevard they are all well trained and very nice employees that work there

Ive been here many times, never had a bad time. Staff is nice and professional. The indoor rifle range is very nice and allows shotguns if you use buckshot or slugs.

They have a huge selection of rentals as well and new guns to buy! The also have two different indoor ranges one for rifles and the other for hand guns which is nice! Get your concealed permit here! Youll get opportunity to try a variety of weapons to find your best fit, shoot in an actual range, not once into a sand boot like most places, like what I did. So glad I signed up for 3 one on one hours with Dan at gun gallery after my other experience. Found I cant pull the trigger on some and can shoot expert on others. Safety, process, handling, he went through it all.Gun Gallery is my go to range now.

Rude and dishonest, tried to offer me $400 for a rifle worth almost $3,000 and tried saying I didnt know what I was talking about and Id get less anywhere else. These good dont care about guns or gun owners. All they care about is a dollar in their pocket and cheating anyone they can.

The staff here is great. I cant count how many times my wife and I went in asking questions and seeking advice before we finally decided what we wanted to buy. Every time we went in there whoever was helping us answered all our questions and gave suggestions. They were always friendly and very helpful. After purchasing our guns we have gone back for holsters and other accessories. We still get the same help and individual attention looking for accessories we did when researching which guns to buy.

Doesnt receive FFL Transfers from individuals. Doesnt inform customer or shipper of this (yet sends FFL) and rejects shipment unannounced resulting in delays and inconvenience. Would not recommend.

My wife and I never shot hand guns at a range or otherwise. I was in the military and had experience with weapons. I went to this range and was greeted by an older gentleman and at first he seemed rough on us, for good reason as people could get hurt. The gentleman walked us through the newbie process and all went very well. Turns out we are pretty good shots and after the initial fear of hand gun/range myths we are now comfortable with our hand guns and range practices.

Dont let the older building fool you from the outside. Inside is top quality staff & products. The on-location ranges are great because you can try stuff out. More over the staff is really SUPER AWESOME!!
