A good gun store focusing on firearms, ammunition and accessories. Ive found hard to find ammo claibers here. Prices are competitive. Its always crowded so dont be in a hurry and there is lots of inventory to check out.

They had everything I needed and more. Their class was excellent on florida gun laws. And you can actually purchase 32 caliber ammo. Impossible in Caliifornia where we came from.

They have more guns in stock than most other dealers than Ive been to. I was able to find a gun that Ive been looking for for about a year...brand new in the box. Also bought some sights and their gun Smith put them on without any additional charge. This is my second gun bought from Shooters...and I would/will buy another. Thanks.

Bought 2 boxes of 9mm full metal jacket here, 50 rounds a box, 128 dollars, 200 rounds at academy was 30 some dollars. With shortages, they have blatantly price gauged, highly recommend not doing business with shooters.

Great place to go. Especially if you have questions or are new to guns. Came in with a vague idea of what I needed, Vince and Owen were extremely helpful. They had an answer to all my questions. Made buying my first firearm an awesome experience!

I want to thank Kyle for helping me buy the right gun. He was very good at separating his opinions in his analysis of multiple different guns. We went back and forth on at least 20 different hand guns before I made my purchase. I have returned several times since I made my purchase and Kyle was just as polite and friendly.I was blown away by their inventory at that location. The last time I saw that large of a selection was pre-pandemic. I am very happy with the store, only thing is some of the prices seemed a little high, but that could very well be a response to demands.

I was approved at green acres and took my course! Came here was charged $25 for a background check wasn’t told about the fee till after I was declined for some strange reason that not even the state of Florida could tel me why! Phil sucks as my first and last experience here. Considering the amount of money I was going to spend! He won with the $25 background check. And the paper said the fee was $5. Amazing how people tend to think they’ve won.

This place was very unhelpful when I tried to do an FFL transfer by not accepting the local address I was staying at along with my military orders. To add insult to injury they also dragged their feet in returning my firearm back to the original FFL. Now in the spirit of giving credit where its due the place possesses a wide variety of firearms and parts. However, given the poor customer service and availability of the aforementioned parts and firearms with other gun stores in the area and online there are far better options than this store.

Shooters has been a great source of information and has had great prices. . I have purchased a few guns from them and Kyle has always been such a great guy and very patient with me. He has helped me a ton. Thanks Kyle for all your help.

I came in today looking for a compact 9mm. I was immediately asked if I needed any help by a guy named Vince. He took the time and showed me 3 different options: a Sig P365, a Hellcat, and an MP Shield. He explained their differences and let me make a decision based on what felt right. He didn’t try and push one gun over the other. I chose the MP Shield Plus. After that we knocked out some paperwork and I was in and out pretty quick.When I returned home, I realized that I had actually bought the MP Shield with no safety. I had looked at both in the store but completely forgot to specify exactly the one I wanted. No big deal. An honest mistake by both parties. I called up Shooters and explained what happened and that I would like to swap it for the Shield with the thumb safety. They transferred me over to a manager named Kevin. He asked if I could come back today and get it handled. So I headed back to Shooters and both Vince and Kevin got it handled. A little extra paper work and I was ready to go. Thanks Vince and Kevin!

I don’t recommend going to the store the owners and employees are not very educated on gun laws I went there to purchase some ammunition the law in Florida State so you can be 18 to posses and own long guns including to own ammunition for rifles and long guns so they refused to sell it to me and I went to another gun store and basically got sold ammunition when they check my ID they said everything was OK and fine when I called back and to ask whether it was store policy or law they told me it was law. they are not very educated on the law and I would not recommend going to them they made me wait 15-20 minutes in line just to get a sales associate while they had employees just standing around doing nothing

Our times have changed and rather than be caught empty handed we decided after many years to embrace our 2nd Amendment Rights. We searched several possible locations as well as asked long time gun owners where we should go...Shooters of Jacksonville was the hands down selection and recommendation by all. We asked our son and family to meet us there to help us find the right combination of defensive weapons. Before they arrived we walked the busy store. First this place is full of professional people who respect weapons and the people who are buying them. While Bill knows weapons from his military time that was 55 years ago. A young former Marine asked us if we needed help, Bill explained our needs, his history as a military policemen and my lack of knowledge about firearms. The young man showed us an AR-15...not a high end expensive one but one that would fill our needs. We next asked about a shotgun...his suggestion was a handgun but comfortable enough for me to use. At that time my Son and family arrived and between all of us went through the process spending almost an hour and a half with us including bringing over other employees who helped me feel comfortable with this purchase which we made. It will be 3 days before we can pick up our new additions and will also plan on taking the concealed weapons course by years end. Buying items such as this requires a group of knowledgeable people, should not be taken lightly but if you do please choose SHOOTERS.

I wish I could give zero stars. Rude staff who did their best not to accommodate me. Ignored me and when I asked for help and talked to me like I was dumb. I probably knew more about what I was looking for than the guy who rudely dismissed me. Also therewas a younger employee behind the counter dry firing revolvers pointed in my direction repeatedly. Avoid this place.

Wow Im not really sure where to start but I visited this store a week ago and purchased 2 boxes off 22 mag shells. I travel a lot own a lot guns and ammunition not for any reason other then I can. When traveling I quite often stop at shops that are not major retailers and buy a few things just to support small business as I did with this store trusting that they would be fair and honest with pricing. Well its obvious thats not the case with this store they charged me 79.98 for the ammunition. I have owned a business and most all business at sometime or another have opportunities to take advantage of situations but not all businesses do that. After thinking that was high for the ammunition I checked on-line after stopping at academy and buying similar ammunition for 16.99 a box. The average retail for the same ammunition was 19.99 so beware this is not a place you can trust as being fair with pricing and if they would do that can you trust them to give you advice of guns that dont profit them the most. And if you look at all the reviews most all the negative reviews there are no response from anyone its obvious customer service is not part of there business plan but pure greed is.

Recently purchased a firearm from Shooters.The wait both in store at purchase and in store again at pick up after the waiting period was in excess of 30 minutes. Other than that the associate who helped me was reasonably knowledgeable on the law and the firearms being sold at the store. Great selection and new products all the time. Expect about a 10-20% markup on firearms from MSRP, and easily double that on ammunition. I have bought several guns from them in the past. They used to have some of the best prices in town. But today they wanted over double the price of a particular gun. You have definitely lost a customer. I will never go there again. Price gouging at its finest

I visited their store this week. I was pleasantly surprised how many firearms they had in stock. Definitely a nice selection compared to what is available in Ohio right now. I was able to purchase the holster I needed for a decent price. Everyone was very friendly too.

They were all nice with a great selection, the only weird thing us I’ve never had a problem with a background check and for some reason mine got stopped and I still had to pay for it which was not disclosed to me prior to applying.

Never had a bad experience here until the fat guy with his hair hanging out of his hat pointed a .308 right at me while he was looking through it on his way to aim the gun down. Maybe it was an accident but come on man. Wont be back here.

I was in on Sunday 3/7/21I was a bit skeptical about coming back to the store, I have been there two times before and just ended up walking out because NO One would help me. I understand the demand is high, but still someone could’ve acknowledge my existence. I am patient, I would’ve waited. Anyway, I decided to give it one more try because they do have what I want in stock. I’m pleased to say that my experience was top notch. The sales representative Justin, was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable purchasing the gun I wanted. He was very patient working with me on some of the questions I had. I would highly recommend him for his service and greatly appreciated his attitudeKeep it up!

Poor customer service. Except for one guy. I was looking at buying at a minimum 2 new toys.Employees were acting as if to busy to help us.And then their prices. Highest I have found in jax.Sure they have selection. But everything is over priced. Not by a little. But a lot. Example.I purchased a used bodyguard from another retailer $350. Same one used with them $499.Big gouge there. We went to strike zone got ammo half the price. Don’t waste your time.

Stopped by this store yesterday and I really enjoyed my experience overall. I was helped by a Justin who was patient, friendly and very quickly directed me to some firearms that suited my needs and accomplish what I was looking for. Most importantly, he didnt come across and disinterested in helping since I was simply browsing different brands and not necessarily looking to purchasing one on the spot which Ive found to be prevalent in some shops. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was simply due to pricing which seemed to be a bit high, however, that is to be expected since this shop is VERY well stocked and everyone and their dog are buying firearms nowadays.

Went here in hopes of finding a firearm. Everyone else has nada. I was not disappointed, classic wall to wall here and some ammo. Brandon the sales associate was very helpful answered a dew questions and I settled on a M&P 15 sport 2. Fair price, great service from Brandon, he was quick and helpful, friendly. I have been hearing the advertisement on the radio, figured I would stop in and browse the store. I didn’t expect to see much in stock with the craziness going on, but oh was I wrong. Tons in stock and the salesmen were so knowledgeable and helpful. I was lucky enough to get the assistance of a young man names Trevor, he really set me up and had me fall in love with my new baby my Stoeger M3000 shotgun. Beyond happy with my experience!

I went into shooters looking for a hunting rifle and immediately Joseph was there to help me, he provided excellent customer service and had expert knowledge about all products. After showing me several different rifles, I settled on a Bergara B-14 which is a beautiful weapon and was exactly what I was looking for. He also helped me with a scope purchase and all the accessories I needed. I would recommend shooters to anybody needing to buy a weapon and when you go in ask for Joseph!

Helpful staff but highly recommend asking for Kyle, he is very knowledgeable and will point you in the right direction. He had made my experience very pleasant and easy! Kyle is a great salesman.

Lots of people mention price gouging, and most definitely their prices are the highest you will find, which might be why they have such a huge inventory. What I havent seen mentioned as much is the extreme arrogance of nearly everyone working behind the counter, besides being treated poorly myself, they LOVE to tell stories trashing their other customers and how stupid they are. Oh and every single item in the display cases is very carefully placed so you cant see the price tag, super annoying. Especially after 3 laps around the knife counter and and I see half a dozen knives I would like to know the price of, but nobody bothers to come help you. They are literally the last place I would buy from in Jax and St. Auggy.

I have been going on this website since before COVID started and it never works. No items ever pop up and it always says no items matching your search found even when your just trying to find accessories. Sick of it and it needs to be fixed if they want to make anything of themselves online. Not a smart way to do business in today’s world
