Burt is a stand up guy, walks you through the work, doesnt try to push anything extra on you, fast and responsive. Definitely a hidden gem to find such a legit mechanic. Friendly, polite, down to earth. Brought in a car that had been sitting dormant for a couple of years and him and his team brought it back to life even better than it was before. Prices were more than fair for the scope of work with the bill coming in well under what I expected to pay, and he was able to fit me up with new tires in less than 24 hours. Incredible. Highly recommended.

I asked them to check for a potential leak that I thought my truck had as I noticed a wet stain on the road under my vehicle. They checked it over and it turned out to be nothing. In addition to being honest about this they did not charge me at all for the diagnostics. I have never experienced such honesty and fairness at an automotive place. Im new to town and will definitely be going to Burts for regular maintenance and repairs on my truck!

My car died on my drive to work (I have a decent commute and cant go long without my car blah blah) and the place I normally take my car is closed for two weeks. Burts got my car in same day, kept me updated on the problems, and had it fixed by lunch. They even tried to save me money where they could (Im a student). Amanda was the best point person, I cant recommend this place more.

This was one of the best experiences at an auto mechanics shop Ive had! Burt and his staff were very honest, helpful & friendly. My car battery died and he was able to get me in the same day and fix the battery within a couple hours. A lot less complicated then I thought it would be. Thank you! Ill be back for sure !

I ALWAYS get great service from Burt. I have only ever taken my vehicle there for any work needing to be done. I wish they did Wheel alignments so I could get a check-up done at the same time as I get some of the yearly maintenance done on it. Amazing service. Honest! I have a check engine light on and Burt recommended we do an initial test to find out what the problem was and while he did that his wonderful employees also cleaned all of the joints and grooves along the way. Turned out that the problem would be pricey to fix but it would not prevent the vehicle from operating properly. This is honesty, I would have been able to secure the funds but with his honesty I didnt have to put hundreds of dollars towards a problem that wouldnt affect me. I always go to Burt when my vehicle needs anything. And I highly recommend him to others!!

Having used Burts Automotive for over 15 years I was recently impressed by their professionalism in helping me with tires. I had previously used one of the largest tire shops in Victoria and the last time I was in the job was poorly done. Upon using Burts for all our automotive needs I have found them to be fairly priced and friendly and professional.

Absolutely do not go here! Knew this guy for years and he tried to hose me for 2400 dollars on an out of province repair and inspection. I asked for a quote and was denied and ignored until I went to him in person after no response to my inquiries for 3 days of repair on my vehicle! Nit picked every small detail on a 25 year old truck for safety issues. I threw a number at him for costs and he only responded with oh it wont be that much. Until the final bill that is. Do not bring your vehicle to this shop for repairs. Ive seen his clientele and he preys on little old ladies and people who have little to no knowledge of vehicles. Wherever you decide to go. GET A QUOTE IN WRITING PERIOD! Research you rights as a consumer in regards to automotive repairs. If they dont have your approval via signature email then you are not obliged to pay anything.

Burts automotive is honest, clear and reasonable. I have never come accross a mechanic that would take the time to teach new drivers about checking the oil, how to lift a hood etc. When I have run into any problems Burts Automtive is forthcoming. I would recommend, and have done 6 times already, for everyone to go to this local automotive company. Prices are very competitive but more importantly you know your car is being serviced properly and only gets what needs to be done. Customer service is TOP notch!

I will not let anyone touch my car, but Burt, or one of his very clever mechanics. I cant even remember how long Ive been going to Burts garage, but it has to be around 25 years. Never have I been disappointed. I always got first class service and honest diagnosis. If a problem could wait for a little while, I was told that, and if the problem needed fixing right of way, it got done promptly. I cant remember how many people I have recommended Burts garage, and everyone of my friends thanked me for doing so.

Original estimate: around $1000Final price: over $2500 (more than the car was worth)Came looking for an honest opinion as to whether this back-east car was worth fixing up to get past inspection. Afraid I got anything but honest. After ever more problems were discovered over the course of weeks, I was in a sunk cost situation. And finally, after paying out this small fortune, within 6 months, the transmission went into limp mode (stuck in 2nd gear), making it a total loss. I cant help but think that a mechanic with any scruples would have steered me clear of this situation.

Friendly and fast service.

Awful expierence, charged me for an oil change and I didn’t need one. My mom was driving home from work and decided to check on my vehicle to see how it was going and she saw they had left a tool on the hood of my car so she asked them about it and they told her “oh your daughter must have put it there... “ how the heck would I have put it there if it was my car you were fixing? Also had my EGR vavle replaced and they put a used part in so I ended up needing to replace it again the next year. They charged me for a bunch of disposal fees and in my opinion they overcharge. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

Brerts is a great mechanic. We just moved here and Bert and his team really saved out bacon when our break caliper sized up. Thank you very much for your help! We will be taking both of our cars to Berts.
