This is the only place I trust to work on my car. Their always friendly, straightforward and honest. They will appreciate your business but not try to sell anything your car doesnt need. Sometimes issue arise that can change aspects of the quote but the price from original quote rarely increases. Im comfortable driving my car knowing Firestone has done the repairs.

Had appointment and was told it would take “a couple hours”. They called us 2.5 hours after appointment time (3 hours after dropping off) and said that it “shouldn’t take much longer”. Got to place and was told they wanted to clarify what we wanted done (even though we had told them at 3 times -1) at time of appointment, 2) when dropping off car, 3) when we were called and told it shouldn’t take much longer ). Then I questioned why we were going on 3.5 hours past time of appointment and how much longer- was asked “is that a problem? And, I said responded by saying - “yes. We made an appointment for a reason. We love over an hour from here and have been having to just “kill time around town and needed to get home”. She then said it would take 30 more minutes. Approximately an hour after that- it was finally done. The job is probably fine and the price is comparable to others. FYI- lace is NOT clean- and pretty much gross!Only got 1 picture - but, believe me when I say the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been mopped or walls wiped down in years. All the ceiling air vents looked like they had mold on them.

These guys are AMAZING!!!! I was in from out of state visiting a friend in the hospital when my car started stalling. Despite it being Superbowl Sunday, and not really being staffed for a car repair that afternoon, they made sure my car was in shape for my drive back to Kansas the following day. They even stayed after hours! Total dedication, and hearts of gold. If I lived nearby, they would absolutely be my mechanics. Thank you Larry, David and everyone!!!! Bravo!!!

Perfect example was what is so wrong with this county! Spend 1500.00 on run flats for the car get the roadside assistance plan. On the highway get a flat and the dumb lady at Firestone says sorry about your luck. Call a tow truck. Seriously I just paid over 1500.00 at your stupid store and this is how you treat customers? Everyone of my clients will now know never use Firestone in Joplin..

THEY. WILL. CHARGE. YOU. TO. FIX. PROBLEMS. THAT. DONT. EXIST. Avoid at ALL costs. They told me my master cylinder was leaking break fluid and it would cost 900$ TO REPAIR! I brought it to Dry Fork Diesal and auto, and got way more response time with details as to the car. They said the master cylinder was NOT leaking and THEN gave me a state inspection and the car passed with FLYING colors.DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS A DIME! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

This crew took on my vehicle that was on the verge of a breakdown as we were traveling through on our way home from a reunion. They took a look, ordered parts and had us back on the road in 3 hrs, on Memorial Day to boot! All were courteous and professional. Well done and thank you so much!

My buddy recommended these guys and so i gave them a shot and in the end they tried to charge me almost $700 for something that i went home and ended up fixing my self for $100 and it only took me an hour to do... So save your money and dont come here!..

Me and my girlfriend decided to go here, due to everywhere closing, we needed a tire alignment. We had went to Steak N Shake and got a shake, that we kept in the car during the alignment. Keep in mind it was mostly full.. we came back to the car only to find that the cup was in the floor board with it spilled everywhere.. had to clean my floor before I could even get in to leave. Went in to tell them about it and the dude who did the alignment, would let her finish and kept saying “ sorry I didn’t see it” over and over again.. like bro.. you can man up and say you spilled something? Childish.

Could have changed my own oil in the hour I spent waiting. Never even changed my oil.

Would have been faster if someone with one leg and no experience was working on my vehicle

Was told my tires would be changed within an hour and a half. Came back 2.5 hours later and my car hadnt even been touched. No call, no apology. My business will go elsewhere. If you cant get your customers in within a time at least close to what is quoted, they should be notified. We dont all have the time to wait around all day.

Horrible place. I bought a tire from them about 6 months ago. A few weeks ago I found a screw in it, I checked and they were open on Sundays so I was there when they opened. I was the only customer there at that time. The man who I spoke with simply said no we are to busy to fix it today. I live 25 miles from there and needed a tire repaired. He told me he could it the following Thursday! I went to the Walmart down the road and was fixed in a few hours. I called the manager the next day at Firestone to tell him about the rude, non helpful employee. The manager was uncaring and unconcerned about it. So I learned that Firestone would rather see you ruin a tire then fix it in an emergency. They lost my business for this attitude.

Very unintelligent and dishonest mechanics, went in for a camshaft position sensor replacement and VANOS Solenoids, informed the guy at the front desk of what I needed and the symptoms I’ve experienced. guy informed me I’d need a diagnostics, thought that wouldn’t be a bad idea and accepted. Got a call 3 hours later being told my battery volt tested low and car wouldn’t start, and that I’d need a new battery, mind you I’ve never had issues with my battery, but anyway I accept because why not as winter was coming, the guy told me “all the codes just disappeared when we put in the new battery!” And that it fixed all my issues, however when the battery is disconnected/reconnected the ECU resets and the codes will temporarily disappear including the engine light, couple weeks later the car breaks down for exactly what I went in for originally, these dudes aren’t mechanics they’re salesmen, save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else, I paid $400 for my issue to not even get fixed. Also, these people tried to sell me my original battery back to me for $20 when I asked to keep it, because I didn’t trust that it was running 3 volts like they told me, and my car tells me when the battery is low voltage. Weird, absolute clowns.

We have lived in Joplin for over 10 years. When our mechanic retired, he recommended Firestone by the mall.We have always been happy with Firestone people.

Don’t do business with these guys. I spent 1400 on new tires with them. Came back 6 months later for an oil change appointment. Was told it got canceled due to call ins. Never got a courtesy call advising of this. Came back again 3 weeks later for a tire repair. Exact same excuse. Said my appointment was canceled again with absolutely no notification of this. Worse service I could imagine.

Worst place to go for an oil change in Jasper county. They will lie and mess up your car.

Sat here for over an hour after they told us they had 5 tires for my car. Around hour 2.5 they finally told me that they only had 2. Very disappointed and wasted half my day.

Why is your store open if you can’t actually DO anything for anyone? I’m trying to leave town and need an oil change before I drive to south Texas. You are open with ONE person there and he’s not allowed to change my oil because he’s the only one there. Then why be open at all? I checked your services and your hours and drove all the way here for NOTHING.

We had some concerning tire noise and wheel wobble on a road trip home with over 600 miles to go. They were really busy, so it took a long time to get service, but they identified the problem quickly, made a simple adjustment, and got us back on the road at minimal cost for now and with solid follow-up recommendations for later. The staff couldnt have been any more professional, friendly or sympathetic toward our situation. Shaun was very up-front about the cause of the problem, likely from our previous Firestone experience, and did not try to pass it off as anything we could have done wrong or were responsible for. We feel safe and secure to continue the journey with full understanding of what went wrong. We were cared for well today and feel blessed to have stopped when and where we did.

I scheduled out a week in advance the only day I could have my oil changed. When I dropped it off the front desk guy told me 45-60 minutes. I ran an errand and when I came back and waited another 15 minutes, over an hour total wait time, I had to go up and ask what the status was on my car. They said the mechanic hadn’t even started on it. Why did the tell me 45-60 minutes at the time of the appointment if he was running behind? Or at least call me to see if it was okay if they pushed the wait time back? I’ve been going to firestone for years, and this is making me find a different place.

HIGHLY recommend going to Firestone!!They have been working on my truck since I got it, they know what their doing and have even started working on our new car as well.There’s no one else I’d rather take my truck to. They do oil changes, have done tires for both vehicles, spark plugs, wheel bearings, drive shaft, etc.They know us by name and know the truck very well too. I wouldn’t take my vehicles to anyone else.

Got my car inspected before a road trip because I thought maybe something was off about my tires. Was told my car was perfectly fine for a road trip and I am currently stranded on the side of a highway with my two children after my tire blew. So there’s that.

Fast service on a tire repair when traveling through the state. Mall nearby so I walked the mall once and when I returned the truck was ready.

This place always takes so long to get this done and my company uses ari. So complication is complete a big problem.

My experience was terrible dont ever want to go back they tried to tell me they could not do my alignment when I was told by another mechanic it should be able to be done.

Im currently passing through Joplin and I had my leaf spring shackle go through the bed of my truck. Firestone got me in right away and spent 2 days on my rust bucket! Never once did they try to charge me more for the job than what they quoted me. They were all very respectful and nice, if Im ever passing through again and need something done no hesitation I will go to them! Thank you gentlemen so much!!!!

You think they would tell you the wait before they start. Said it’d be about an hour for an oil change which I understood. But I’ve been here THREE hours and still have no idea when they’ll be done with my oil change. I live two hours away if I would have known it would’ve been this long I would’ve went somewhere else. Wish they would just be upfront if they’re behind. Ridiculous.

Excellent customer service! Although short staffed, they took care of our 2018 KIA Optima with kid gloves! Service technician went over entire list of 10,000 mile check up items! Car is performing at maximum level! Tires rotated and balanced; oil was outstanding but still changed and filter replaced! Air filter outstanding condition! All other fluid levels checked and outstanding! This is kind of service Firestone is known for!! Top notch!

I absolutely find Firestone to be the best vehicle repair center around. From their friendly demeanor, being treated with a smile, their helpful and HONEST nature, and the peace of mind knowing my vehicle was fixed correctly and safely, Ive never been to another garage like it. They stand by their word, their products and prices. Its a great feeling when you dont have to dread bringing your car in for service anymore. I recommend Firestone on Rangeline in Joplin, MO to anyone that owns and cares for their car.

I came here for new tires and a safety inspection. I suspect them of fraud as far as my safety inspection is concerned. They failed me on wheel bearings and windshield wipers, but two auto mechanics subsequently confirmed that those were both false diagnoses and my car was fine on both fronts. Firestone also suggested I get a new serpentine belt soon due to wear, but there was zero wear in my serpentine belt (confirmed by both subsequent mechanics). I might get around to reporting them to the BBB, but this will do for now.

I am very aware of what needs to be corrected, or maintained on my vehicles. They are very patient with me when I bring a vehicle in for specific purposes. While making me aware of whst may need to be fixed soon.

Ordered four new tires. The shipment they received only had 3/4 tires so they gave me a much better pair for the same price. On top of that, we got an alignment and road-hazard warranty for a reduced price. AND on top of that, the man Jordan saved us roughly $200 because he likes giving people the best prices! He also called several times during the tire service to inform e of anything they found that could be fixed or adjusted. That is great customer service! Thank you Jordan, Kyle, and the rest of the Firestone crew who assisted me today! I will be coming back!

Spencer and Ryan always makes the experience delightful. I have sometimes received a call advising I need something else done or if Im there waiting they will come up to me but its far better finding out while its in the shop then driving down the road. I wont take my cars anywhere else. Firestone is a great place for auto care, they are very helpful and they explain what the problem is in great detail. They are also reasonable,if not you can usually find a coupon online or Sundays newspaper :)

Ive always had an amazing experience with Firestone. Today I got 2 new tires and a rotation and spent less than I was initially quoted. Will definitely recommend!

Had a tire that was getting low on me everyday and they took it in right pretty quick without an appointment and found out the problem for me.

They didnt know how to correctly put two tires on. We had to tell them and make them correct it.

I have used Firestone for years and Ive never had an issue other than wait time, but there are other people in the world and I could make an appointment for 8am. When theyre done they go over the problems they find and if you want it fixed they can do it, if you dont believe that you have a certain problem theyre more than happy to show you the issue. I also like that there are Firestones practically everywhere, my Firestone is in Missouri but I have family in West Virginia, so if I have an issue West Virginia I take it to the one in Barboursville. There are cheaper places yes, but I have piece of mind with Firestone and thats well worth a little extra and as a matter of, Im here now.

Scheduled a alignment and tire rotation/balance. happy with the result. i purchased the lifetime alignment was kinda pricey but its the same price as other shops for lifetime. the customer service of this store from what i encountered was good.

We brought the car in on a very busy day and surprised to get it back same day. Staff very friendly, explained everything in an understandable manner. The car checked out ok and gave us a recommendation. After this - the only charge was vehicle inspection fee! I feel very comfortable taking my car to them for all my car care. thank you to the JOPLIN FIRESTONE CREW!!!

Service was good. Jordan did what he could. But couldnt complete my claim. Nothing he did. Just thier policy. But they did good.

Update: they found that the guy hadnt adjusted it. I take it home and its still pulling till the right and steering wheel is crooked.Really thought I was getting more bang for the buck with my alignment. Came up from Texas visiting, decided to get my alignment done here instead a mom and pop place. Was done in about 2hrs, went and picked it up drove it a few blocks and parked it. Noticed they didnt even do the tire pressure..which should of shown me the half wit job they were gonna do.Then as Im about to leave back to Texas I start driving and realize I am fighting it a bit. I look down to see my steering wheel tilted to the LEFT and I let go of the wheel and it immediately PULLS to the RIGHT!!!Now the lady up front was very nice and told me to bring it in. She was very good with the service she gave me. But this should of never happened from the mechanics end. I would of been a lot more pist if I would of found out and they were close..I shouldnt have to waste my time for their mistakes.

I got my oil changed there on October 10 and when i went to get another oil change on December 23 i went to good year and they told me that the last person who had done my oil change had pulled my drain plug and caused damage which caused me to need a new oil pan and when i went to Firestone they told me it was nothing they could do even though they were the ones who broke it in the first place. The manager named JJ or something like that was very rude to me and refused me service that they promised me a week before that. Ive read reviews about this same incident happening at the same location so I believe someone needs to come in and investigate this store for doing their customers wrong.

Pretty quick service, friendly employees. I had an oil change/inspection on two vehicles and both times were under an hour. They didnt try to tell me that I need to fix a bunch of things, and I appreciated that.

Horribly overpriced! Quoted my husbands car at well over $1,200 when Mobil1 quoted $280 for the exact same thing (parts AND labor). They try to scare you into getting the work done (whether you truly need it or not). Also just rude staff. A simple alignment takes them 2 to 3 hours. Avoid the Joplin, MO location. Messed up my husbands alignment worse than it was when we took it in! Never returning.

They were very nice people. The price is great for the amount of service that you get. However I’m less than 2 miles down the road after getting my vehicle aligned And my vehicle is shaking and vibrating violently. It wasn’t doing that before I took it to them.

I am not happy with this place at all and it definitely doesnt deserve to be called Complete Auto Care. I took my 2000 Chrysler 200 in to have it looked at because it was missing sometimes when driving. The short heavy bearded guy stood at the counter and was telling me he is not sure what would cause that and he doesnt have guys that work on that new of a car?? Its a 2015! He didnt even look at it or listen to it. He told me that if I had a place look at it and they tell me what it is let him know and they will see of they can fix it or not??? Whats the point of going to a mechanic. I took it down the street and they figured it out real quick and changed my spark plugs. Do not go there it is a joke.

Short version: Big repair. Something went wrong. They invested a lot of time and money to fix it, promising it would be right. They succeeded, did not charge us for the extra work and parts, and gave us a substantial discount for the long wait. They really seemed to care and wanted it to get fixed right. They did!

The staff that they have here at Firestone in the front sales & service is great. But in the garage I think drag their feet a little bit. But all in all I give them a five star rating.

I went in just for a state inspection sticker. Check the lights windshield etc sticker me. And after a hour and a half they come with a printout of over $2,000 worth of repairs that needed to be done. All i wanted was the basic inspection and damn sticker so i would be legal i did not say hey check my truck over tell me everything thats wrong with it. Never been back since

I purchased new tires from this firestone location. I was told I needed a $250 alignment because something was broken and was told a front wheel drive vehi2all wheels need aligned. I went to toyota dealership and got an alignment for $50 and nothing was broken. Also when I went to have a flat fixed the guy fixing my tire was in a horrible mood and was slamming stuff around and cursing at his coworkers. Avoid this place its not worth the hassle.

I tried to give this place a chance because 4 or 5 years ago went in got tires everything was good (it took forever but) .since that time I heard nothing good about them.then I bought my wife a car recently, they had a good deal on tires so I went in. went down to the mall for 3 hours came back and they informed me I had two bent rims after they already put the tires on .they said they called me but I checked and they had called like 10 minutes before I came back so they told me where they put them on the car, I took it and bought two rims from salvage went back to have the rims put on and have it aligned . this is when they proceeded to tell me that one of the salvage rims was bent oh and turns out I had 3 bent rims. why didnt I receive this info the first time?. so in the end I had to buy 3 rims and return one of those rims and get a new one. then after the alignment, which they went ahead and did with a bent rim it pulled to the right worse then before . even after that I figured must be something else with the front end .well today I did a full brake and rotor job on the car and on the rear I busted a lug stud that they had cross threaded when they put my tire back on I also noticed 3 other studs had been replaced recently (Hmm)now I dont know if they busted them and replaced or not but if they did would have been nice to know. I do know they cross threaded the one!!! Im giving them 2 star because the guys up front were nice and seemed like good folks but I feel im being generous with the stars.

A great honest place to work on your car

Bought my tires here, first time . Took several hrs. to have them put on . I didnt complain about it, but have tried several times to have my tires rotated, granted i havent had an appointment . But, this is the only place I have ever bought from that wouldnt even try to work you in . Went today, only two other vehicles in shop . He refused again, went down the road, they had me in and out less than 15 min. Plus they didnt even charge me ! THANK YOU, Grande Tires for providing the customer service lacking where I actually bought the tires !

The mechanic as dishonest. The employee at the front was very polite and was just relaying to me what his mechanic told him so i cant place any blame there. I specified that I had an issue with the door that alternates the ac/heat system between cool and hot air. I have had it switched back and forth for several seasons. This mechanic tried to sell me on over one thousand dollars worth of work. All I wanted was the door switched over to heat. I dont need a new radiator, serpentine belts etc..., lol. The guy was dishonest as the day is long. Did not even address the issue I brought the car in for originally.

Poor attitude and customer service left air filter case undone and all the girl could say was so. Spoke with a Jason and he at least took notes as to what happened with it to leave notes with the store manager

I had an appointment for 4 to get my oil changed. i went with my boyfriend, and so since it was right by the mall we went to the mall while i thought it was getting done. 6 o clock comes around and he still hasn’t called me..... so we walk back and he said he still hadn’t been able to get my car in. i said “but i had an appointment for 4” and all he said was “okay......” so i asked for my keys back because i had places to be. he ended up giving me a card for a FREE oil change. i was very excited but after reading a lot of these reviews, i’m not taking the chance. i’ve seen several reviews of them breaking things, over pricing people, charging people for something that’s not actually wrong, lying, etc. i’m not going to be returning, i don’t recommend this place AT ALL.

It literally took them 3 hours to change 2 tires. The tires were in stock sitting and there was no one ahead of me yet for some amazing reason it took 3 hours. Plus if given the opportunity they will sell you any part that they can talk you into paying for. I will never recommend this establishment to any one that I know.

I purchased a set of tires and had them do an oil change. The technician stripped the oil drain plug, now my car leaks oil. I use to like Firestone, but this is very frustrating to me. How would you feel if someone did that to your car?

I got my oil changed here 2 months ago and then started having car issues. I took my car to the dealership to find out that when I had gotten my oil changed, they did not install an oil plug properly so I have been leaking oil for 2 months. I went to the manager and he didnt seem to care at all about my issues. Did not offer to reimburse me and acted like I was wasting his time. Will not be coming back to this Firestone ever again. Id rather pay the extra money at the dealership, at least they make sure that my car is taken care of.

Rude and horrible service. Took my car to get new tires and oil change and on the way back home I lost one of my wheel covers bc they didnt bother to let me know THEY BROKE IT so it was loose! Then on the paperwork they listed about $1500 worth of other things that were wrong with my car.. Whatever! They just want more money. Im not stupid enough to fall for that bs. Never will be a customer again!

I needed a tire repair on New Years Day, they were quick to accommodate and everyone was friendly and professional! In and and out in no time at all.

Needed an inspection. Called once in the morning. Was told to call closer to time I was coming. Called again 1 hour before coming. Showed up at time planned and was turned away. Called management to report after I left. Manager hung up on me. Not returning. :/

Went to get a diagnostic test on my car. My appointment was at 9am.. got there at 8:45am.. I waited 4 HOURS to get absolutely no results!! Dont waste your time there. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!

Change 1 wheel and an oil change. 1.75 hours is unacceptable. I was assured it would be done. Needless to say it was not which put in a bind. Not good customer service when see 1 technician working and another one leaning against your vehicle playing on his phone. Very dissatisfied

I give it s one only because I have to, they were suppose to check my Vehicle out and I was told they would top the fluids, when I got car back no fluids were toped then they said they only did whindsheld because if any other fluids were low there was something wrong with my car, well there was fluids low on my car but I paid to have it checked bummer to bumper yet all these fluids were low and nothing was said. Plus they broke a part on the whindsheld so fluid does not work. And they did not fill the one fluid they said they would fill, they did a alinement on my car and it feels like they did nothing, I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR HERE AGAIN IT WAS A BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!

I visited this store for a warrenty tire replacement. Kyle was very helpful, had 4 new tires in no time. Im a fan.
