It’s your typical Home Depot but this one seems to have a fewer variety of things but still poor customer service.I’ve been to many Home Depot locations and this one has one of the worst customer service. Home Depot service is usually not that great but I’ve been to this one almost every day for a week and it’s more not good than good. The guys helping to load are really helpful but the people in the isles seem like you are disturbing them when you ask a question. I even think I caught the window guy taking a nap at the desk.
I went in for a new refrigerator, it was easy to get one. I had it delivered and it works great. Very happy now 😊
Youve got to go to Home Depot to get everything you need for your home or business. Great prices on cleaner, home fixtures, flooring etc. When you see it you should buy it because it will be gone. They always get new items in stock, so check in frequently.
Tyrone helped me and took the time to try to help me find the tiles that I need for my new condominium. I have some of the tiles but I need to complete this project he went above and beyond, hes going to try to find them for me.Whether he does or not its not even the point, its that he made the effort and he cared about my situation what a great employee!!Mahalo Tyrone!

The customer service at this store is absolutely the worst of any Home Depot I’ve ever set foot in. The employees scatter like cockroaches in sunlight when you need any kind of help. My advice is to shop online rather than subject yourself to this awful experience
Waited for assistance but only one salesperson in Department. I was looking for a water filter for my Samsung refrigerator. Anyway needed to locate it on my own. There were more customers waiting but they didnt wait.
Took awhile to get some help in the appliance Dept, but when we did, at least the salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Needed a box that would fit my beach chairs to check them on my flight. Great selection in their moving department! Id add a photo but if you dont know what cardboard boxes look like. . .

What happened to the days when the staff actually knew something about the trades. You could always find someone near by to help you with whatever your project!!! Now its a bunch of young adults that always have to look up on their phone just to tell you where something is located, and good luck finding someone who can give you help.. And I wish I could post pictures!!! I used the restroom and it was the most disgusting place Ive been in. And the changing table? Hasnt been cleaned in at least a couple years. And you will be lucky to find a toilet that isnt out of order IN A HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE!!!!! Every time Ive been in there its been FILTHY and at least half of the toilets and sinks are broken!!!!

I have used Klassic Carpet for an install at my home and am very-very sorry that I did.The job went over by 31 days, job was badly done & things so many of over things are missing from our home!We had a contract with Lowes to due #2 rooms & did not let them do the 2nd room at all, so we wanted you to know this, we will be buying flooring from your store but will never let them do any work at all for us!Lowes said they were their premier installers when they are the only people they have...So people be very careful, its heartbreaking to pre-pay & get a bad job & to her things Missing form our home.....................In order to post this I need to give a star but in no-way is it meaningful !
First want to tell mike thank you for help in the grills. Previously went to Lowe’s and was brushed off to where I came here. Not even 5 months was the service better but we got a grill for 100 cheaper just as nice. Thank you mike

This review should actually be 2 stars, but the nice aunties at checkout and customer service were the ones to pull the third star. Repeated horrible service from employees, which was shown by floor walkers and certain department associates and whoever is in charge of monitoring the inventory to website.
This is reviewing the pickup through outdoor locker option. The pickup through outdoor locker is one of the fastest ways I have ever picked up an online order. Make sure you have your email available from home depot with the specific security code or qr code available to scan. Then the locker computer will automatically open your locker. Take out your item(s) and then firmly close the door.One star off because the home depot app and the website will not show you your locker code. You need the email from home depot. This should hopefully get fixed soon.
Went today...to purchase a bathroom vanity...,and I found one that I liked on display...,but their was no information anywhere around it.No brand, no model, no inventory number. No boxes with a picture showing that unit.One of the employee’s couldn’t find any information on the unit..that we were looking at..,it is very frustrating when trying to shop something and you find something you like but no body in the store seems to know what the inventory is and besides that the Hope Depot app does not work even in store.!!!😒

Nice to have.If you have an item that can not be shipped to Hawaii, go inside to the help desk. Pay for it at the help desk and they will ship it to the California store. Then put it on the boat with all of the normal stuff. 30-60 days to get it.Well worth it for the few items you just cant get.

This may be the worst service Ive ever received. We picked up a special order and one was missing the second half so they reordered. Frustrating but not the end of the world. Then when we got to the car we noticed the one that was actually delivered was broken so we went back inside hoping to replace the broken part with the half order that we didnt take. Turns out that one was broken too so we spent an hour while they called someone only to tell us the price had gone up and we were going to have to pay the difference. When we refused, the guy accused us of breaking the item, even though the one we never touched was broken too! We asked over and over to talk to a manager but they wouldnt even get one for us.
Each employee I asked for directions to a specific item. They knew where to send me. Very friendly and helpful

The staff is super helpful and friendly. And genuine! I needed a piece of plywood cut down, and I had six cuts. They are only supposed to do 5. The gentleman who ran outside and grabbed me a better cart said he would ask Bronson and see if he was in a good mood and would do 6 cuts. After meeting Bronson, I got the joke. This guy is super friendly, nice, and his cuts were really good. I had been going to Lowes, but no more. This place, from start to finish, every employee I came in contact with...great and friendly service. 5 stars.

The people who work here are awesome. Always helpful. And they have persevered through very difficult conditions corporate office put them through. I would give five stars because the employees are great, but Im still waiting to see if the latest changes Home Depot Corporation has made to the checkout-area-layout and the tools they have started to provide to their employees actually works this time. (Such as a pos system that doesnt bottle neck their entire operation at the absolute worst place...where they collect their 💰 and interact with their most valuable resource..US..their Customers!) Im optimistic, I see they gave each pro-checkout their own printers instead of getting up and leaving the register after every transaction, and the flow seems much better! Keep it up Corporate!

Terrible customer service!!!! Totally unprofessional!!! Workers are entirely useless!!! Inventory unorganized and incorrect!! I have a pro account with HD because I remodel homes for living. I just started doing it here in Maui though. Im used to the professionalism of Home Depot stores in Los Angels and must say that the Maui Home Depot is disappointing in comparison. If you try to call them wait times are horrendous (upwards of an hour), that is if anyone even picks up. Many times Im on hold for an hour or more, no one picks up and the line just goes dark. ZERO stars for phone customer service.If you call them to make an order, and were lucky to get anyone on the phone, you will be transferred 15 times, only to then be hung up on you. That happened to me today 4 times. Not kidding.If you try to make an order for doors or windows in the store, you will notice that the one person that can take the order is often either at lunch or already left and no one else in the store can take that order. I went to the store three times to order a garage door, and was unsuccessful each time for above reason. I ended up buying it with online instead.If you try tp buy an appliance the likelihood of that being available in stock is low, so you would order it. To do so you must sign up and wait in a long line to be able to get service. Once you get the service youll discover that the person you speak to will likely not have any idea about the appliance you ask about, so you are better off ordering it online and skip the wait. Thats what I did with my electrical glass top stove. The questions i had about the stove staid unanswered and I ended up researching my answers online with the manufacturer. The personnel in the appliance department are not trained at all it seems.If you call the store and someone picks up and you get to make an order, be aware that the likelihood of that order NOT being complete is VERY high. I ordered fending item for $4000, and the order I received was missing 4 items, or the total 12 items on the list.Worse part, their inventory system is incorrect. Many times when I try to get an item that show available in store, I find out it is not actually in the store at all. Reversely, I made an order and when items were missing on the order I asked them what happened. They responded that the items were not in stock (per Grace - the head of Delivery .So, I went into the store 15 minutes later only to see a whole bunch of the exact item thats was missing, on the shelve. When I asked the sales person why the item is not in stock in their inventory system, as we are standing right in front of it, the sales person had no explanation. Not only is the phone service and the customer service bad, and the team untrained, but their organization system is clearly not working either. I wish I could tell you go to Lowes, but it is even worse there.
I came to the store not knowing what specific item I need. The lady there was busy so I looked for another person to help me. The old man was so nice and helpful, he double check the availability of the item that I want. Unfortunately it is unavailable. I stood there thinking for a better decision and finally asked the lady named Katt. She explained that I can purchase the item I want but tje free item is not available. She suggested to call the store to check if the item is available within in the promo period. While I was walking back to my car, Katt ran out for us to inform me that someone had return one of the items I wanted. She went above and beyond which is one of the best experiences I had while shopping in a while. I left the store satisfied and happy. Kudos to you guys.
I purchased two window screen kit and both missing parts from package. I wasted 45 minutes just to return it back to the store. The only good experience I got was no hassle return.

Came here on vacation to spend time with family. Took a ride with my uncle and cousin to go pick up some lumber, and I was very impressed at how professional and courteous our lumber associate was. He offered to help us load all the lumber we were about to put In the truck by hand with a forklift. I never even knew they could do that. Kela was quick, precise, and got us in and out of there in no time. He saved us a bunch of time and energy. We were very pleased and would recommend this store.
One of only a couple of big box places like this on Maui. It compares well in selection with mainland locations and in price with the islans.
Had one of my items but not the other. Restocking is a challenge for all retail in Hawaii. Personnel are always helpful and friendly. Ill go back this weekend and check if my item is in.

I was helped by a man called Marvin yesterday an Kahului branch, who was absolutely fantastic. I wanted to build a mobile projector screen that looked industrial and modern all made from metal pipes and big wheels. Marvin sketched it out quickly and found all the right parts to build this and he did it with excitement and enthusiasm.. I was very thankful and would highly recommend asking for him if he is not too busy. Top employee who deserves a pay raise :)
Ordered/payed almost $1,000.00 in lumber, etc. payed for it in advance to pick up the next day and it was not ready. UGH! Next time, I’m going to Lowe’s to spend my money. Oh wait!! Don’t even get me started when I first called to get quotes over the phone, they told me someone will get back to me. PSSHH! It NEVER happened! We took the time out of our busy schedule to get quotes in person. Wake up Home Depot!!!!!I WILL NOT return to this store!
I cant wait to come to Maui so I can visit my favorite Home Depot! It is a large store with a deep variety of inventory. The store is always clean and the aisles are pretty much free of clutter and displays, which is important to me and others similarly situated in that I often use an electric cart to get around. They have a very large selection of appliances, kitchen and bath furniture, and floor coverings, all important to us condo owners.I have not had much experience with their customer service except to say they are all polite and courteous.The prices here are a little higher than on the mainland, but that is to be expected given the high cost of shipping.There is a new Lowes nearby. I was there last week. It was extremely cluttered and hard to get around in. I think the management is at fault for not being aware of nor making corrections. I will stick with Home Depot!
Pretty much the same as every Home Depot though very busy. Try online shopping and pick up. Saves a ton of time.

Home depot is alright for a hardware store but sometimes the workers are no so much in a mood to help you when you need it, when you ask for help they give you a look like you are bothering them and that is not conducive for a good business
