The store had my bike delivered to the shop when they said it would be. Minimal wait time getting it set up when I went to pick it up. Super nice staff! They were all very knowledgeable and helpful! Great service!

Great experience and communication. Geoff was great about letting me know things up front and educating me on getting back on a bike. Thank you for great service and Ill be back for sure. My friend wants to already come in and possibly order a bike. I was really impressed with everyones help and willing to help each other when questions would come up. I ordered a bike rack online and while the site said I could get it sooner at a different Bike Barn in town, I wanted to go to the Katy location near my home and would wait the extra week for it to be shipped to them. To my surprise, it was there within 2 days! Not only did it arrive quickly, I was called to let me know my order was received and also as soon as it came in. Friendly staff. Will answer your questions and suggest what can be a good fit. You can ride the bike inside the store to see how it feels. Wasnt pressurized to buy. Might not be the best place to get down into the finer details/configurations/comparisions of the bikes, but if you have a fair idea what you want to buy this is a good place.

Your staff were/are so very helpful. The younger man whose name I cant recall helped me find the chain lubricant I needed. He then suggested that I bring in my bike for a free chain inspection and informed me that a worn out chain could do costly damage to the casette and gears.I plan to do just that! I appreciate the staff educating me so that I may better care for my bike. This kind of service is great!

My bike was repaired in less than 15 minutes and my sons bike, which needed more work, was done within a couple of hours. Jay was great explaining everything that needed to be done and both bikes were ready to go back on the trail same day.

Put money on 2 bikes here last week. I have been looking for an XL Trek I like for about a year. I stopped in with my GF and found some good options. They had great ideas and suggestions about what I need based on how I ride and keep the bike. Dirt trails and truck beds...The place is large clean, well stocked considering there is still bike shortage after the virus. I would tell anyone combing through new or preowned bikes online to stop in there and see if there isnt something on hand in your range that makes more sense.

The level of expertise is amazing. Been to Bike Barn several times and spoke with several different employees. All were consistent in their level of knowledge and guidance. Laid back but professional.

I had a terrific experience purchasing a Townie bicycle. The staff was knowledgeable and able to fit me into the perfect bike. Unfortunately I had an accident a few weeks later and shattered my ankle so I will not be able to ride it again. They were very understanding and allowed me to return it outside their return policy because it was in pristine condition. I am so grateful to them and I highly recommend them for your biking needs.

Took my bike in for some minor repairs and a tune up. Bike feels like I just bought it! The crew here did a great job. Only issue was that no one contacted me that they were running behind, so when I showed up at the time and date on my receipt, the bike wasnt ready. But they turned it around quick afterward and it was done later that day. Other than that, two thumbs way up.

I brought in an old 1990s Trek bike and the crew down at Bike Barn got her fixed up and running for me in less than half an hour. I just put my first 10 miles on her and everything runs great. Bike Barn Rocks!

Came to this Bike Barn on 4/3. I was very unsure of getting a bike as I had not ridden in almost 30 years. Also brought an older bike that needed tune up. While old bike was worked on, spoke at length with Anthony about bikes and different products. He was patient, knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy in any way. At the end of my visit, I ended up leaving a deposit on a bike so I could think about it (I think up to three months) and we went home with the older tuned-up bike. I came back to Bike Barn the following weekend (yesterday) and after a test ride outside, I was sold. Anthony even helped set the mount properly to get the bike home. All in all, a great experience at this store. Ive been on a ride already and could not be happier with my purchase. Thank you, Bike Barn!

The quality and selection of bikes and accessories. The biggest thing that sold me was the knowledge of the salesman. Geoff was awesome, he did not rush me, answered all of my questions, and did not just try and make a sale. He listened to my needs and guided me toward the right bike. I went in for type of bike, but after talking to him ended up with a better bike for my needs and it was cheaper. I will be buying all of my future bikes from Bike Barn.

Excellent customer service and reasonable repair costs. We brought my sons bike in with a wobbly rear wheel and they immediately diagnosed what the problem was. I was informed of the cost to repair it (again, it was reasonable) and it was fixed within a few hours. Everyone we encountered in the store was friendly and helpful.

They were busy and hustling when I came but service was prompt and courteous. Repair was done on time and at the quoted price. If you need a bike or bike service in Katy, Bike Barn is the place.

Fast and friendly service! Took my Trek Madone SLR to Bike Barn in they morning to get the bottom bracket replaced due to creaky noises. The technician, Shane, was very helpful and explained to me that he’ll do a diagnosis to make sure that the BB really needed to be replaced. Got my bike back later that afternoon. Excellent service!!!!

Geoff was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all my questions and taught me a lot about bicycles. He also assisted me with accessories, such as a kickstand, which I did not realize did not come on the bike. He also helped fit the bike so the ride would be more comfortable and I would get the most out of my bike. Overall great experience.

Its a good place to buy cycling stuff. Maxx is the best!! Ask for him in the service department. Wish they carried more stuff, other than just Bontrager and boring ol Specialized.

Fantastic! Had to get 2 new tubes and 1 new tire. Traveling the Bayous for Alligators is no place to have a flat. Especially out in the boonies!While there, they also adjusted the front brakes and the gears. When changing gears, they would hang. Not anymore! All good! Ready now for the next adventure, scouting Alligators in an Urban environment along the Bayous thanks to crew at Bike Barn!

I had the best customer service. I called in advance and Andy is the person I spoke to, I asked him I needed a bike for critical mass in Downtown and I was going to go during my lunch break so I could not waist my time. Andy said no worries maam I will get you in the bike you are looking for, anyways long story short I went and asked for Andy, he comes out and I let him know who I was and took me wright over to the bikes I needed to look at. I chose my bike rode it and fell in love in seconds. Andy takes my bike to have it inspected and brings it out to the register explains every detail and maintenance on the bike and loads it on my truck and has a very professional outstanding customer service. Great customer service, bikes took almost 5 months to get here but well worth it when management was able to help fix an issue regarding what I was told by a salesperson and they reassure me it was not the case and fixed the issue. Definitely will be shopping here again wish i wrote names down of the fellow manager who assisted me.

So. Everything was good and nice up to the moment I paid, I was actually asked to leave the store by the sales guy.So, I went into the store without a face mask, not on purpose. I spoke to different store personel including the person who asked me later to leave the store, and no one seemed bothered or mad for not wearing my mask.They helped me to get what I needed, they answered all my questions, always keeping my distance. I was inside the store for a good 30-45 min.I paid for my items and then went on to look at other merchandise and thats when that guy started following me as if I was going to steal something. He started to be very rude after I made my purchase to the point that then he used the excuse of the mask to make me leave the store.Very rude guy, awful experience. I dont think Ill be back to that store location ever again.

Great service! I took my bike in without an appointment for some minor service. They took it immediately and I was out of the shop, with the repairs completed, within 30 minutes.

Literally ordered a birthday present and was promised that it would be there by the weekend. We called to check on the weekend and were told to try again on Monday which is when the birthday celebrations were. Then upon calling we were informed that the bike would be there on Wednesday and there wasn’t anything to be done. The guy took no ownership and reminded us their stores closed early so be sure to make the cut off once the call comes. I have volunteered and worked with the BP MS150 and dealt with a lot of bike stores. This is the first time having such a terrible experience. Furthermore, I know it’s a pandemic so maybe be nicer and solution oriented rather than saying “I didn’t give you this information and there is nothing I can do about it.” Literally didn’t appreciate the condescending, lacktastical tone.

Took my bike here to service my brakes 3 rides later and they pop out of place do you guys have any guarantee? When the bike was delivered to me I could tell he wasn’t sure he had done a good job.

I like this place as the employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and are not rushing the sale.

I did not have a great experience coming into this shop.Thankfully, I was able to enter the store and see what products and services they had available. The older man who assisted me was not good at his job, he seemed very annoyed and uninterested with me. He left me standing in the middle of the store for maybe 15 minutes while he went to the back to do something else. After those 15 minutes a young man finally approached me to see what I needed once he finished test riding the bikes in the store. Why did it take 15 minutes to get another person to help me when the store was literally empty? I’m not sure.I am a customer in your place of business and I expect nothing but the best customer service you all have to offer to anyone!I wouldn’t come here if you have specific needs with your bike or if you are looking for a specific product. Not one person could answer any of my questions. Odd.

This bicycle shop did a poor job of assembling my mother-in-laws tricycle. Most of the bolts were not tightened, the brake lines were not correctly inserted into the channel, and because of this the bike was not rideable. We took the bike back a couple of days later and they took the bike back to correct the problem. On a positive note-a friendly customer advised my mother in law on a technique on riding the tricycle. I am giving them 3 stars because they did correct the issue. This bike should not have got pass QC and the company might need to do a retraining for some of their employees. Maybe this is abnormal, but not for this case.

I like the personalized service and how the staff makes me feel important, no matter how small my purchase. The mechanic staff is experienced and knowledgeable, always helpful in areas beyond my ability.

We have had great experiences here. We have bought a bike and had some service work done there numerous times even through the COVID time and they are always efficient and offer great advice. On my most recent visit they offered that the fastest way to get my bike on the road actually had me purchase one of the parts they had the rest and installed. Waited 10 minutes to enter the Katy location store only to be left 40 minutes standing in front of the bike shop counter. Not a single person ever acknowledged my presence. I had a few questions for a mechanic so the lady who let me in walked me to the counter, asked me to wait there while she retrieved a mechanic. She was never seen again. No one ever approached me to even ask if Id been helped nor did I get even a smile by employees. So finally I turned around and left and as I said excuse me and walked through 3 employees to exit the building not a one of them had a parting word to say. Absolute worst customer service Ive ever recieved any where.
