Gearing up for hiking. Matthew in footwear was knowledgable and respectful of our preferences. My spouse and I both wanted Mid-rise Gore-tex hiking shoes. They only had them for me, we ended up ordering the others online, but Matthew was very helpful. This location also has a great bike section with proficient techs.

BRICE was amazing. The entire staff was great but, he was above when it came to customer service. We were just looking for a few pair of hiking socks and even though we were spending a fortune he was there to help with any and all questions. Ive never stopped here but, Ill be back for sure. This is what customer service should be!

Brought my bike in to get tuned up. I assumed I would need to drop it off for a few days. The guys answered all my questions and then got right to work and handled all the maintenance and upgrades the same day. Great customer service above and beyond anything I expected.

Today when I came in looking for a bike one of the employees, Bailey, came up and assisted me. She was very sweet and very informative on which bike would suit me best. She even helped with all of the equipment I needed as well. Overall very happy with the customer service shown today!

Wow! We are so happy about the purchase of the new bike! Jeff was amazing, he helped us with everything, advice about the best type of bike, adjustments for handle bars, he even assisted me in installing the bike rack. I am a raving fan of Sunday and Ski Sports.

If you’re a Veteran (or current Service Member) make sure they give you your FULL 10% military discount and not just take $10 off. Obviously depending on the total cost of your purchase, this makes a huge difference. In my case it was about a $40 difference.Other than that, employees were kind, patient, and helpful when helping me pick my gear.

Got some problems with the service but still giving 5 stars. these guys are really customer friendly. Also believe the management in this shop must be one of the best to create such a good atmosphere and excellent service! Well done!!

I bought a Haro bike from an older lady in the bike shop about a week ago for my son. The pedal fell off the first time he rode it, and once we managed to get the pedal back on, he tried riding it around the neighborhood and kept making a scratching noise on the tire. At that point we were willing to just take it back and return it for something else but one of the younger guys in the bike shop managed to fix it within 15 minutes. I was shocked because if he could fix it that easily the 2nd time, it shouldve been just as easy the first time. Not impressed with going home with a brand new bike, having that many issues but Im glad that the young man in the bike shop was so easy to fix it.

Very large selection. They actually had clothes in my size in stock. I would recommend this store because the staff are very helpful and courteous.

Martin in the bike shop was great. I had bought a bike without test riding and it turned out to be too heavy for me. I had thought I was stuck with the bike, but Martin explained there was a performance gaurantee on new bike purchases, and helped me exchange to the right bike. He was more than helpful during the whole process and convinced me that I will always buy my bikes from Sun & Ski from now on.

Went to this store to get some snowboard boots. Tried on about four different pairs and found the pair that I liked but they broke while trying them on...Brice was the person who helped me and I just really want to give him a shout out for being super helpful even after the incident. If the manager or a supervisor is reading this I would like them to know he helped me nail down the boots that I wanted. Thank you very much!

The only store in my area that has kept their stock up on snow clothing and accessories for adults and youth🙌 Great variety of selections and friendly, helpful staff too!👍🏼👍🏼 Next time, I wont waste my time calling and driving around. Ill just come straight here😊

Have started our bike purchases here two times. Both times resulted in the staff members finding us exactly what we wanted, but at another location. These guys are great! Very experienced, not pushy, and will listen to your needs instead of trying to make a quick sale.Wish they had more stock so we could save the additional trips and buy directly from this location!

I bought a Santa Cruz bike and some accesories for 4.7K and they told me about a promotion with Synchrony Bank that was supposed to be FREE INETREST. The last month (12 MONTHS LATER) I was charged with 1.4K in INTEREST..!!!!! i contacted synchrony and they told me that was a DEFERRED INTEREST PROMOTION and that was written in my statement.... they were right about it after i checked it but the salesmen told me that was FREE INTEREST, NOT DEFERRED..!!!! SO BE CAREFULL AT THE MOMENT YOU TAKE THIS KIND OF PROMOTION.

Store was a little small to what I thought it was gonna be. The cashier had little sense of humor I just copped it out to the whole corona and tax free weekend.

There is no procedures for COVID-19.The salesperson did not have a mask, did not keep any distance from me, my kids nor other employees with masks.He wasnt very knowledgeable about the bikes!I called the manager the next day and he said that anything goes, the employees dont have to follow any rules for preventing Covid 19 spread.I called the Memorial City store and it was totally different and the manager had a great plan to prevent spreading germs.I was distressed as it was first time shopping anywhere beside the groceries in a long time.Very disappointed is an understatement.We wear mask to help others. Obviously, they dont care about their customers or the employees who are more caring with masks.Try the Memorial City Mall location.Our salesperson was in close proximity to other employees unnecessarily and frequently.

This store exudes excellent in retail. The staff is attentive, well versed, and eager to assist. The whole operations is clearly handled by the consummate professional. I was able to purchase my ski gear with completely confidence before my upcoming trip to the Swiss Alps. Ive been having a problem with my tennis shoes (not a fault of the stores) and the assistant manager, Megan, went above and beyond to help me both times. She researched the issues and then went to help me find new shoes, knowing I would not be buying them tonight. She helped answer questions about how my ankle rolls, my arches, and throughly explained the inserts and which ones I would need. She was helpful, knowledgeable and so friendly! Another member of the staff came to check on us when Megan was called up front to make sure we were still doing okay. I love this store and staff! Thank you for making tennis shoe shopping less stressful!

Came in for new tires and installation. Shane/Bike Whisperer is a nice repairman and had us out quickly with the type of tires we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was good in comparison to other competitors.

Visited saturday to get some ski gear and to check out the ski boots. Mckenzie was amazing, sweet helpful young lady, helped us with the clothing. but when we went over to the ski boots, a young man named Matt was just RUDE. told him we just wanted to get an idea and size today and he was VERY unprofessional, and just had an unpleasant experience with Matt... my family and i love this store, never had an issue before. but this was just a little beyond us.

Grant is very knowledgeable in bikes and hes clearly passionate about cycling.EDIT 2020: Anytime I have a bike issue or plan to buy a bike, I come here, and every single time Ive met with great people. I brought one of my bikes I bought from Performance Bikes (only b/c S&S didnt have it in stock) for a disk brake pad replacement recently. The service guy took one look at it and told me it doesnt need a new brake pad, it just needs to be re-adjusted. I told him I didnt buy it here, he said dont worry, adjusted a few things, made sure it worked, and sent me on my way. I have been to the S&S at Memorial City and have never gotten this level of service. To the management here: Your people rock!

Most bike shops have a tendency to have a snotty way of treating people. I can honestly say that is not the case at Sun and Ski at Katy Mills Mall. Especially Chris! He is great to deal with and really wants to help! There are other bike stores in the area but it’s people like Chris and the rest of the staff that keep me coming back!

Recently went to the Sun N Ski store are katy mills to purchase a Herschel Astros Daypack and they we’re out of stock of the item. I was being helped by Dave and mentioned that he could order into the store from another store. My son really wanted this backpack and Dave was able to locate one and have it shipped to the store for free “WINNING” so happy with our purchase and I know our son will be ecstatic when he gets his new Astros Daypack

Bought a Bike here 2 years ago . Spokes starrted falling out I’d wheel . I removed wheel and tire to have 2 spokes replaced . The amount of excuses I received where overwhelming ! I even took a spoke out and said match it please twice ( bad spokes on same side same size . Nope couldn’t do it even though spoke boxes and where within my reach . Have to wait for a tech can’t do it today . My response “ so you don’t havr the ability to pop in 2 spokes but you sell bikes “ yes that’s correct Sir !! I will never return to this store .
