This store is located in a very convenient place and usually has everything I need, but the checkout lines are always very long. I also noticed that for some reason this place seems to always have a strange smell. I would suggest looking into the ventilation system since this has been an ongoing issue for me.

If another person checks me out at this Walmart and literally does not say 1 word to me I will never come back here! It’s right next to my neighborhood so very convenient but some of these checkers will literally just scan your stuff and not say a single word. It’s just plain rude and happens all the time!

They do not rotate items especially at the checkout counter i.e. potato chips were so stale they bent like rubber. They should be thrown away. Checkout counters were very close to walls that seems like a safety issue. 2 carts could not pass each other. Only 1 at a time. Ice & water machine & a desk/podium as well as other items took up the space. Those items should be relocated so that there us ample room for customers to exit safely.

Love this location but for some reason it’s turned into one of those smoky fried food places that you go in and when you come out you smell like burned chicken for the rest of the day. Please install a more robust vent system.

I just wasnt impressed like I am with other neighborhood markets. The WiFi was just wasnt strong enough, especially around the registers where it is needed for Walmart Pay. The store was well stocked, except for school supplies which were needed for back-to-school. I left my items at the register and went to another Walmart that I knew had strong WiFi.

It is always pleasantly quiet, no crowd, and well supplied, even after the winter storm. The only thing they were out was water, and the greeter at the door would announce that, so people wouldnt waste their time going in and finding out for themselves.

I’ve been coming here for two years and stopped shopping here mainly because of the management and produce. There is a short Hispanic female manager there, and she’s been condescending towards me every time I interact with her.I was there very early one morning when they had just opened and heard two other employees say negative things about her, and they immediately stopped when they saw me round the corner into the aisle. The other staff are great. Management needs to be educated or switched out.The produce is almost always going bad. Sometimes I don’t even bother to go in knee deep to choose what looks good and what doesn’t, because I don’t feel you should sell rotting fruits and vegetables.

Great Location and Services

The only reason for 3 and not more stars is that new addition to current brand was not with the brand in the aisle. I just happen to find on one corner of one endcap at one of the checkout lanes. If I would have not gone that one checkout line down I would have missed it and it was the only reason I bothered to go to Walmart.

Karolis helped me with a grocery pick-up order today, and I was very impressed with his kind, polite manner.

Perfect place to shop for grocery essentials, propane, and basic house hold needs. Smaller than the supercenter which makes it an easier time of shopping and less crowded for those of us who dont like crowds. Clean and helpful employees.

This Neighborhood Market has come in clutch for us multiple times especially throughout the pandemic. Everyone always seems to be in good spirits at the store. It is clean and well-stocked. They are doing a great job keeping the community supported during this unusual time.

I love going to this Walmart! They dont have as many things as the Walmart supercenters, of course, but it has everything you need for a quick grocery run. One time while I was there, though, an employee kept following me around the store suspiciously. I have to assume this is because I am a minor, so they probably thought I was going to steal something. By the way, I most definitely was not going to. It doesnt change the fact that the employee made me feel unwelcome in the store. This is really the only problem I have ever had with this Walmart, and I have been shopping there for a while!

Embarrassed to admit, but I come quite often. Sometimes multiple times a day if I forget to buy everything in one go.The employees are all very friendly, and one associate, Paul, went over and beyond by helping me get 6 loads of water into my cart and offered to help me load into my car. Really appreciated the offer and enthusiasm.The pharmacy here is pretty good too, never have to wait too long to get my prescription, so everything at this Walmart is like others have said, pretty in and out.

This store usually has everything that youll find at a Supercenter location (minus clothing, electronics, and sporting goods). Very convenient location and parking! Friendly and helpful staff! Store is clean and well organized.

New store, its a neighborhood mkt which means= not the huge comprehensive store with everything in it. They have a good selection of groceries and good prices. The only thing I wished was different, was extended hours. They close kind of early. But close by and convenient and good parking 😄

Like many had mentioned, this store always exceeded my expectation when it comes to Customer Service. Now during this testing time it is more prevalent among the staffs. This location had changed my perception about Walmart in general & i never hesitate to stop at this location for any of my grocery needs

Fast friendly service at the pharmacy

Always a pleasant experience, the gals there are always so nice and chatty. They ask if you found everything and if not, help you out. I enjoy chatting with them. The stockers are kind of hit or miss and some dont like to move when you need something where they are stocking but I dont think they work for the store.

We go shopping there right before they close not to many people shopping at that time

The place is nice and same with the staff, but the location isn’t good. There was controversy at rylander elementary about the gas station being close to the school (I know you can’t move it) but you can find almost anything you need. This is a neighborhood Walmart, so they serve you everything all the other Walmarts have.

Do not underestimate the location and outwardly appearance of this place local katy folk. It is delicious and totally over looked imo. The owner is the Chef; hes personable, inviting and an incredibly good cook! The prices are great for the value of food. Dont miss out!

Nice place. It has a strategic location for an area that is growing in new houses. Also Gas is in good price. If you are a neighbor and want to avoid travel long distances for big markets, this is the place. You will find almost everything as in a full version of Walmart.

I LOVE this store, they have a great gluten free aisle with products that other stores do not carry. Gluten free cream of chicken and mushroom, taco seasoning, gluten free chili seasoning, brown gravy, and so much more! They carry item that allow me to cook normal food for my celiac family member.

Its just about my fourth time shopping here and it is such a wonderful store, a quick and easy shopping experience. I was able to find everything easily with the help of the employees their each time. I even had excellent customer service when I went to go check out. They were so nice and patient. I will definetly be shopping here again its very convenient especially with there price match system. I can shop here at any stores price. I recommend it.

I had a horrible experience. I am a African American female and as I walked into the store I notice the employees huddle into a group and stare at me. After that as I started shopping the employees from all over the store started to follow me around and just make me feel very uncomfortable. They weren’t even doing a job they were just walking bye angrily staring for some apparent reason. Later to find out one of the Hispanic make managers told his employees to follow me around the store. I am sick to my stomach that I have to deal with people like this especially from a fellow minority in the country. I will never shop at this Walmart or any other Walmart ever again.

This Walmart is staffed by the most incompetent people in the world. I only write this review because Ive had multiple bad experiences here. The first (that happened many times) is that none of the cashiers seem to be capable of completing a tax-exempt purchase. Am I naive to expect them to learn at some point? Maybe, but this a basic skill that the cashiers at the Target 5 minutes away can manage.Secondly, I purchased a Visa gift card today. The cashier rang the card up twice, voiding it. I paid roughly $58 for a $29 purchase that didnt actually process. I got half my purchase refunded in cash, meaning I spent $29 for NOTHING. They helped me out at customer service by first trying to tell me that I purchased 2 cards (I did not), questioning my math (which they could only figure out when I pulled up my balance on my banking app and told them where to find the card that THEY misplaced). Seriously, admit your mistake.Then, they called Visa which told them four (4) times that the card was not active. What do they proceed to do? Have me try to activate the card on my phone thinking it would change something. Surprisingly, it was still inactive! Who would have thought? Certainly not the grade-A staff at Walmart.The assistant managers first solution? Leave with the inactive card. It might go through in a while. I mean REALLY. I should pay $29 for the air at Walmart. Explaining that I wasnt going to leave without some type of reimbursement, I finally got a Walmart gift card for $29. It took them almost 45 minutes to settle on a gift card; this was how hesitant they were to return my money. I did not yell; I did not raise my voice. Does politeness not even entitle you to the bare minimum of assistance in the customer service industry?I guess its fine to shop here if you can do self checkout or by some stroke of luck find someone who can manage at least 50% of their job. Otherwise, go somewhere else. Not worth the stress at all.

Its a small neighborhood store. Big problem is lack of check out clerks. There are only two isles with employees​ and the rest, four open lanes, is self checkout. That normally wouldnt be a problem until you have an issue with your order. The couple of people who are there are busy at their lanes and good luck trying to get someone to help. There is never enough people at the front to help.

What happened to the nice employees? When this Walmart first opened there were friendly employees. They used to smile or greet at you. I went in today all I saw was new employees with *sourpuss faces*. Im thinking of taking my business elsewhere, Were I can feel welcomed.

This is a nice clean store which is just the right size to run and grab some groceries and a few other odds and ends you might need. I like going there for a quick visit vs going to a standard walmart and it being so big and having everything under the sun.

Every month, I pay my husbands child support at this Walmart. Ive never had a problem. However, on this visit, Elvira questioned who I was and asked to see my DL. Then, looked at me suspiciously because the address was different. Since when do I have to identify myself to pay support? Does it matter who pays CS? Its not like I was receiving money. Manager, please counsel Elvira.

Neighborhood Grocery Store with a decent selection of produce, canned goods, and other shelf items. The selection of meat is very skimpy. Prices on a few items that I checked are somewhat lower then the Krogers down the street.

This Walmart Neighborhood Market is great unless you need service at customer service counter. EVERY time that I have ever needed a money order there has been an issue. Today I went to the counter and stood there about 10 minutes until finally a store associate walks to the back. She went back to the floor. Nobody showed up so I went to grab the 2 things that I came to get from the store. I saw the associate in the back and asked her if she told someone I was standing there and she responded that she had. I walked back by the counter and nobody was at the counter.

I absolutely love Walmart. I cant stand the people that hate on Walmart just because their workers dont get paid much. I mean, both parties, employee and employer, agreed on the terms before the employee signed up for the job. Nobody is forcing them to work for minimum wage - they chose to work there!Enough rambling. I love Walmart, and I love this one is particular. So many choices to choose from - and the customers arent spooky looking like they are in some other towns!

Water vending machine broken for several days. Price of great value brand of 1 dozen eggs has nearly doubled from .79(before Hurricane Harvey) to 1.44 to currently 1.26. Price gouging.
