Do not buy any products here or even extended warranty from them!! Waste of money and time. Bought a fridge 5 months ago and had to have it serviced 3 times, the store will not refund me for a faulty product or swap it out without going through the manufacturer. Wasting time and money from spoiled food. THEY sold a faulty product and don’t want to eat the cost of it to help their customers.

I was a new customer to A-1 but my family was not. I purchased a new washer and dishwasher early July and was told the dishwasher would not be in until December, I was okay with this, but my washer they have in stock all the time and I could get anytime. When I called about a week later to get the washer, I was told they had only one in stock and the leg was broke. Another shipment would be in the following Tuesday. Tuesday, came and went no phone call. I had to call and them to be told not in yet, but should be in by end of week. Friday came and went no call. I call again to be told now would not have for another 1.5 weeks. I was furious. I was not made because the washer was not in, but I was made on the customer service that not once did I get a phone call with an update on my appliance I had paid for and that they were misleading on the stock they keep on hand. This weekend, still nothing so I cancelled my entire order and I will never shop there again due to their customer service and lack of concern for my situation. I went to another store and have my washer today.

Can I give them a ZERO star? Poor customer service and business practice. Would not shop here.

Unhelpful and unprofessional staff. They sold a faulty fridge to my family and is not willing to replace it. Manager was not helpful in the situation and extremely rude.

Great knowledgeable staff. However the 2 star review is because they didnt treat me as if I was a customer who paid for a dryer for my new home. I ordered a dryer that was supposed to be on back order for a couple of weeks. No problem. Then a couple of months, no problem again. However, now its been 5 months and I have not received any communication whatsoever about where it might be located, no updates on the status of my order. No offer for a refund. Then I called recently and the employee who worked on MY order initially seemed to have forgotten that it was even placed. To give context, I placed this order in September 2020. The lack of communication and customer care/support is terrible and I wont be shopping here for appliances again.

Bought a mattress here and it was a great experience. People were friendly and helpful without being too pushy.We went here for the special (buy a king mattress and get a free tv). It was as advertised no strings attached. You can also use the value of the TV toward something else in the storeDelivery was next day and it was right in schedule. Delivery guys were very professional and friendly.

Great salesman. Funny and helpful. Prices a bit high. So youre paying for immediate service and got to bring dryer home rather than home depot, lowes etc where I waited 45 minutes and the was told I would have to wait 10 for a delivery. Prompt courteous service worth the xtra. Thanks Mr. Wallace.

Needed a refrigerator for a rental property. Went to Home Depot and Lowes, neither one had one in stock nor could they get one in less than 2 weeks. Called A-1 Appliance in Kenner, not only did they have one, it was cheaper than both the big box stores. Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good price and good service. This place has trained staff! I went to get a new window unit and they were so much more helpful and knowledgeable than the 2 other places i went to. I found the unit best suited for my needs and the price was still comparable to the other places that claim to have better prices. I really like this store!

Our LG refrigerator/freezer (only 5 years old) stopped cooling during the pandemic. We first went to Home Depot, then to Lowes, and no one ever attempted to come to help us, nor did they have the model we were hoping to find. We decided to drive out to A-1 Appliance in Kenner. That was a great decision!!! We were helped by Desmond Johnson, and he couldnt have been more helpful! Because of the pandemic, inventory is very low, but Desmond secured a loner refrigerator for us to use until the GE Cafe we ordered arrived. We couldnt have asked for better service, which is very hard to find these days! BTW, their prices are even better than Home Depot and Lowes, and delivery and installation are free!!! We will be buying all of our appliances from A-1 from now on!

After leaving Best Buy in a huff, I found myself at A-1 ready to go to war over a washing machine. Your amazing salesman, Claude, was beyond helpful. I told him what I was looking for and what I didn’t want and within 10 minutes I was paying for my new washer. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and someone I want to come back and do business with again.

Worst Service Department Ever!I purchased multiple appliances from A! Appliance back in 2014. The racks in my dishwasher had come loose and I call A1 Service Dept. to come out and fix the problem. Service person barely looked at the dishwasher and quoted $450 to replace the racks. I paid the $105 service fee and decided to purchase a new dishwasher and went back to A1 to make the purchase. Really nice salesperson made me aware that the racks are under warranty for 10 years. I called Maytag and they sent out the whole rack assembly FREE of charge. I called the service manager, Bob, to complain that the service tech should have known the racks were under warranty. Bob continued to make excuses and refused to refund my money. Service tech and Bob need to be educated on the products and their warranties.

We love A-1 Appliance. We found a new small full size refrigerator for my mom as hers was getting warmer each day. Great friendly service.

Dont like the taxes they add if you dont live in Jefferson Parish and need delivery.😟 Warranties (to me) should be a minimum of 5 years when purchasing ANY large appliance. Sales werent what I call A SALE. Hoses come separate when purchasing a washer and of course they recommend you purchase the hoses and the store doesnt hookup appliances or take away old one.😛

Extremely poor customer service. Spent over $700 on a new dishwasher and it broke twice within the first year. When trying to get the service tech out we had to wait over 2 weeks both times. Dishwasher was never fixed. We were no-showed on several occasions and nothing was done by A-1. They continued to try and send us to GE that refused to send the technician. I will not buy from them again. It’s extremely disappointing when small businesses such as these drive people to big box stores.

Went in @ 3.45 PM with my wife Sunday 9/2/2018 to buy appliances ( washer)I know the product name and model, I waited next to the item for 10 minute no salesman come to me, 2 salesmen in the store, one is next to me when asked him for help he show no response and make remark that the other salesman will come to help, I can see the other salesman is not buzzy at this time, I left with out any person say CAN I HELP YOU.....Store manager can check the Video on the time and date above.

Bought and paid for a Samsung washer and dryer set on october 6th. Was told it would be delivered in 7-10 business days. After repeatedly having to call them over and over again to inquire as to why I still had no washer and dryer after 3 weeks, I didnt receive any follow up calls to inform me as to what the delay was. I had to initiate all contact with them to find out what was going on. The salesperson was friendly but not very diligent about keeping me informed as to the progress of them fixing the late delivery. Finally received the set a couple days before Halloween, and while they did give me a free set of hoses because I had to wait nearly a month for my set to be delivered because of a mistake on their part, my overall buying experience from this place was highly lacking. The only reason I didnt give them one star was because the sales rep was friendly and they did attempt to compensate me for the delayed delivery.

Appliances, basic electronics, bedding. Nothing highend but a nice store with helpful people. Convenient with lots of parking right near Home Depot.

Had what we wanted, delivered the next day and when the dryer was dented they immediately went back to the warehouse to get a new one and returned an hour later to install
