Amazing staff. Opticians were kind an efficient and courteous. The doctors accommodated my sensitive eyes (NO AIR PRESSURE TEST). The front desk were sweet and genuine and showed me all the amazing amenities you wouldn’t find at other places for eye wear. Take all my money! Impeccable selection of eye wear for ALL price ranges. This place is superb and no comparison to the competition.

Offers an online scheduling system, making it easy to get an appointment. I was able to get an eye exam within a few days. Staff were professional and friendly, and the office is clean and attractive. Theres a good selection of frames and such but too expensive to really be worth it beyond the insurance discounts typically offered on the first pair. I mean, if you have VSP Vision, it substantially discounts the eye exam and first pair of glasses, but anything after that is going to run you hundreds of dollars.

I was seen today by Dr Chan which I strongly recommend. She is pleasant and knowledgeable. She was able to walk me through the process with ease by pointing out the things I need to watch out for as well as recommending a test I should have to keep my eyes healthy. Great experience. Been with Clearvue and Dr. Cosgrove for over 2 years. Before that, I was bouncing between different clinics since I wasn’t happy with the services. Originally it was just me needing contact lens prescription refill and then LASIK. I was so impressed with the care, I moved my whole family over and have been with them ever since. They’re not only affordable but also flexible and accommodating to our needs. My husband got emergency, last minute appointments with them several times. Saving us trips to the ER. I also appreciate all the preventive care and patient education provided at our checkups. Highly recommend!

Overall this place provides good service and has friendly staff. You do need to watch which services they perform and bill, as they like to add some photo services you didnt ask for - and which are not covered by your regular annual exam insurance.

I have been going to Clearvue Vision center for 2 years. I waited to review them, because I wanted to see if their customer service was always good or if it was just a fluke because it was my first time. Well the customer service is amazing. You never have to wait to see the optometrists or to get your products. Everyone is great, they bend over backwards to make sure we get everything we need. They have a great selection of eye glasses and contacts. Their office is big bright and nicely decorated. The staff is warm, efficient and very nice. I will continue to go to Clearvue Vision. I referred my husband to the office and they took really good care of him. He has always had great vision and never had to go to the Optometrist. But they diagnosed early onset cataracts and they referred him out for surgery and followed him post surgery and the office was really great to him.

My first time visit and had good impression of this place. I see a staff member disinfect chairs with wipes - good practice in the middle of pandemic. Dr Heitmeyer and his staff were thorough, professional, and firendly during eye exams,. The front office staff were friendly and helpful as well. I also see good selection of glasses in the facility.

Everyone at Clearvue Vision Center was so nice and professional! I showed up an hour early (completely my mistake) and the receptionist let me switch times with her own appointment so that I could be seen earlier rather than having to wait an hour. I have really horrible eyesight (-6 range) and Dr. Cosgrove was great. The glasses selection is AMAZING! So many different brands I hadnt seen before and just beautiful frames. I am so glad that I went here! I cant wait to pick up my new glasses!

UPDATE - Clearvue manager did apologize for their lousy service (below) and provided an 8% refund on my expensive purchase...if I would be willing to edit or delete my review.

They wanted me to pay a copay for contact fitting when my insurance covered such cost, they were just to lazy to look that up. My insurance confirmed they covered it.

As a referral from two coworkers with very positive things to say about Clearvue Vision Center, I had a good feeling about my appointment as a new patient..and I was not disappointed! Every staff member was friendly and professional, and I was pleasantly surprised to not have to do the dreaded “puff test” (if you know, you know!). I was first assessed by Misty and then examined Dr Moy and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I left with two trial contacts to test out to see what brand would be most compatible, and scheduled a followup to discuss my findings in the upcoming weeks. I am very happy to be able to be seeing clearly again, and have found an office I feel confident in!

First time customer today and I was treated with warmth and kindness from the minute I walked in. I worked with Alicia and she was so empathetic, patient, insightful, and overall incredibly pleasant to work with. She even found the right pair of glasses for me after I tried on about 20 or so frames. She was funny and genuine and I’ll definitely go back for the human connection this place gave me. It’s probably not the cheapest, but their selection beats Costco and isn’t unreasonably priced. The snacks and sodas really provide a welcoming touch! Way to go whoever is running it. Please consider this review a commendation for the front desk staff and specifically Alicia.

I felt welcomed from the start! The receptionist was kind with a smile, and the wait time was what I expected. The tech that took me back was the sweetest and attentive to my needs. I was then treated by Dr. Moy, and she answered all of my questions. She was honest with what I needed and explained with great detail the condition I had. When I left I was told in order what to expect on my next visit.I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

This place is great. Due to my past work schedules, Ive had to see 3/4 of their doctors and they have all been amazing. They have a team who is very nice and professional. And I always feel they go above and beyond with me when Im there, whether its the doctor explaining every question I have to the assistant making me feel like a friend. Plus, I love that they take eye care of our Thunderbirds Hockey team! You guys rock!

I love clearview! Today was my first time ever getting my eyes checked and they made me feel comfortable and even though they had to tell me to do something like 5 times because I’m not used to people touching my eyes or taking pictures of them, they were understanding and worked with me. They were very polite and helpful when picking out glasses and even brought me a water bottle and guided me to the restroom and around the store. Great place, I’ll never go anywhere else.

The Doctors provide excellent service/care and very thorough in going through their findings on your examination. Choosing frame wise, they have many varieties of selections; and the staff always gives you their honest opinion on what suits you.

I am a new patient to Clearvue. The team at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I felt that my optometrist was knowledgeable and attentive. I also love that they send text alert reminders for appointments that is super helpful. I did feel that wait time was a little long once I was brought back to the room, but the office seemed busy during my appointment time. Overall very pleased with my experience at Clearvue.

I am having cataract surgery and after my initial consultation at the surgeon’s office discovered I had to leave my hard lenses and go to soft lenses immediately or my surgery would be delayed. I stopped by Clearvue and they were able to get me in right away. They were kind and considerate, eliminating a need for delay. I do appreciate everyone who helped make this happen. I love this eye doctor office, glad we found it since we just moved here. They were great with my two girls and are having me trial the contacts, which is nice since my prescription has changed. They have snack and have a great process to get you in and out.

The doctors here are excellent and so is the rest of the staff. My technician did a great job making me feel comfortable and handling the beginning of my exam. After that the doctor gave me a thorough and detailed eye exam, explaining every step along the way. I will definitely be coming back here for my next exam! And whenever I need new glasses their selection is great and the opticians are always helpful with their suggestions and fittings.

Had some concerns after initial exam and picking frames and options .Basically,I didn’t really know what I was doing .All my concerns disappeared today when I picked up my first pair of glasses ever and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. Brian took the time to fit and adjust my glasses as well as explain every single detail regarding the entire process and answered all of my questions. He was extremely knowledgeable with all aspects, from the exam to the lenses and frames as well as billing and insurance! Best place in South Seattle to have your eyes examined, pick out your new eyeglasses and be professionally treated. Clearvue was a blessing for me. Dr. Cosgrove did a thorough exam assisted by Sandra, who I thought at first, was the doctor. Very nice of her to offer and give me a bottle of cold water too. Then Soun followed up my appointment by showing me some mighty fine glasses. She was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining my options to me. All around I am totally satisfied with everyone there in every way and Im glad I found this place. Id give them 10 stars if I could! Theres plenty of parking, a restroom and hot coffee. Its professionally run and has a wide assortment of eye ware. You cant go wrong. Nice place, nice people.🤗

I first gave Clearvue Vision Center a try after learning about them being Best of Kent several years ago. Now I come back for all my visions needs because they are the best in the entire area. Excellent service, quality recommendations and results, and work seamlessly with my confusing, multi-layer insurance.

Brought my 6 year old son to Cleavue after there were some concerns in a vision screening. It was easy to make an appointment using their online system. The front desk, technician and doc were great with my young son, even when he was quite wiggly. They didnt push for glasses when it turned out to be a borderline prescription, rather they made it a discussion. Most wonderfully, though, they proactively called me to reimburse us for a procedure that they could not perform because my son was too little. It was on my list to call and try to get this back. No need! They were on top of it. Made my day! Thanks Clearvue!

I’ve been a client of Clearvue Vision Center for eight years. Dr. Heitmeyer always takes time to inform me about the exam and answer any questions I have. The opticians are top-notch! I’ve worked with Brian, Ken, Jeannine, Stephanie, Soun, and Katie. Each has their own strengths, and you can’t go wrong! Five years ago, because of variances in eye fatigue, they accurately diagnosed that my blood sugar could be fluctuating. I went to the Dr., and they were right! I credit the Clearvue optical staff with looking out for my overall health.This is the eye team you need!

I came in to see Dr. Heitmeyer the first week of December for a routine by annual check up. I was greeted by a very warm staff member at the front desk I was handed some forms to fill out for my medical history, I was also offered a wide variety of snacks and beverages which was a nice surprise. Within 3 minutes I was Whisked way to a room Where I did three separate eye exams. Once that was done we went to a different examination room where the testing continued the lady who was assisting me was funny and made me feel very comfortable as she numbed my eyes. A few minutes later Dr. Heitmeyer walks in greets me asked me a small series of questions to see how my eye health care has been and continues on to a the exam( Lucky for me my test results have increased for the better yay) he walked me out to the front desk to check out, thanked me for visiting the clinic I made my next appointment. As I walked out I noticed a huge selection of eye wear frames to my left (maid me wish I needed glasses.) Everyone that works at the clinic is very warm and friendly. I highly recommend Clear View vision center for anyone that is looking for an optometrist.

Ive been going to Clearvue Vision Center for about 3 years for my eye exams, contacts and glasses. The staff and doctors are always kind and listen to me as the patient. Last year I had an emergent eye issue and they were able to get me in right away and prescribed the right treatment. I started coming here based on a friends recommendation and I definitely recommend them to my other friends.

All stars go to BILLING department representative- Shannon B.To be honest I was extremely frustrated with my cost situation. I asked the front desk before and after my visit about the cost, how I’d be billed. The tone and statements I received were all along the line of yes you’ll be covered, maybe a small copay, you have a yearly routine visit. All wrong.I paid the copay 15$ at the end and was billed a month later for almost 90$. What?! Not what I was told. I call in multiple times and was told I’d get a call back- each time this never happened. Check in with them yet again and the people at the desk automatically defer the answer “speak to billing”. I’m pretty pissed off at this point.FINALLY, I get a call from Shannon from the billing department. And man, what a RELIEF! She is absolutely amazing and informative, knows her stuff. She let me know why it was coded as medical, what specific events from my visit triggered this. I think the part I appreciated most was how genuinely kind and caring she was- she truly understands the frustration from the patient side, AND she’s great at doing her job/ explaining. This was the most clear and nice phone call I had received this entire time about my visit. Please pass my thanks to Shannon, without her I would’ve undoubtedly left a bad review along with leaving this clinic. She said she’s fairly new but I couldn’t tell at all- I felt she’s had years of experience. Speaking with her changed my view from angry and frustrated to completely satisfied... I am very happy with my experience here. Upon entering, the office is pristinely clean, open, and modern. The receptionists are so welcoming and it really is nice to receive service with a genuine smile and conversation. The Optometrist I saw, Dr. Allison Moy, was quite knowledgeable, answered all my questions thoroughly, and I did not feel rushed by her at all. The Optician who helped me choose a pair of frames was graciously honest and I feel I walked away making the right choice for my look. I went to pick up my new frames today and I am so pleased. The fit and feel are great. I dont often take the time to review businesses but felt compelled to write one today because I am so satisfied with this clinic.

This is by far the best and pain free experience I ever had. The staff and doctors are top notch and the waiting experience is first class.

I made sure Clearvue would take my insurance for all the services I needed beside deductible. It was a yes, yes, and more yes. Paid my $1,400.00 and it was completed. 4 months later I got a random bill for 151 for some photo. Zero permission asked AND Zero follow up on what exactly is the photo. Take my money once, but NEVER again. So if you like a place with zero communications, overpriced, and random charges; Go here. OTHERWISE STAY FAR FAR FROM Clearvue. Also, dont get lured in by their stupid banner.
