I came to Grease Monkey this past Sunday. I couldn’t get over the fact they were open. This is wonderful for people who work unconventional schedules like me. Mark came to my car to greet me and answered all my questions about which oil change I needed. Grease Monkey exceeded all my expectations! I will definitely be back in 5,000 miles! Thank you to Mark and everyone else at Grease Monkey!

First time trying these guys, they were friendly and courtesy. Loved that they are opened on Saturday. Got an oil change and state inspection. They let me know about other services that were due but didnt pressure me to get them done. I will probably get them done here in the future because of the great service they provided!

This is a wonderful group of people who work at the Kernersville Grease Monkey. We had an issue with our car directly after our oil change. When we returned the car, everyone there, including the managers, looked over everything to diagnose the problem and then worked to get the parts we needed so that we were back on the road as soon as possible. They made us feel like our car was a very important priority and proved it by doing everything in their power to fix the issue. Thank you for your wonderful service; I will be back again.

I had my oil changed by two dudes named Jason and Nick C. everything went quick I was in and out quick, friendly service they was awesome, both are very professional and know a lot I will definitely be coming back to Nick and Jason to get more work done to my Honda we had a good conversation about cars and they definitely seem to know what they are doing. If you go here I highly recommend you ask for Nick and Jason. They have recently got some new employees and they are kinda rude so I will only be coming here for everything I need as long as I see Jason and Nick C. will be here.

Heard some grinding so I took my car to get the brakes checked. They looked at my brakes and told me the issue. The guy I talked to was very nice and professional. Had a nice waiting area for my son and I to relax while they did all the work! Definitely will be taking my car back here.

Car wash is touchless and does a good job, but its hit or miss if its open and in working order. You do get a vacuum token with purchase of a car wash, so thats cool.

I needed to change the brake and turn signal lights in my Escape, but couldnt get one of the light housings off the side of the car. I pulled in and the manager took the time to help me get the housing off so I could put new bulbs in! Everyone seemed very professional and helpful. Thanks!!

The folks at Grease Monkey are friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. They do great work and are fast and efficient. They went above and beyond recently to help me get my flat tire replaced, even though I came in 30 minutes before closing they still got my tire changed out so I wouldnt have to wait until the next day to get my car back. They are amazing!

Do not go here! I went for an inspection and failed due to tires. Which would have been fine except the two cars in front of me failed for the same thing and I thought that was odd. They then tried to push $850 tires on me. I asked for cheaper, maybe used tires they said it was “Illegal to get used tires in the state of NC” which is a bold faced lie. I went and got a second opinion on my tires and was told they have AT LEAST 5000 more miles and should not have failed. This place is scamming people!!

I went in for an oil change. I told them I was short on time and to check to see if they had an oil filter that would fit my car. They didnt tell me, but didnt have it. I didnt have to wait a huge amount of time extra, but I honestly didnt have the extra time, thats why I asked in the first place.They tried to upsell an entire list of services, telling me that I needed things that I know I dont need. I needed the one thing, an oil change.At check out, the guy tells me that they used 7 quarts of oil. My car has a 5.8 qt capacity. It was slightly overfilled when I checked it.They charged me over $70 for an oil change. Thats all they did, other than check tire pressures and vacuum the car.Will never go back, would not recommend.

These guys helped me with my rear differential problem and even took me underneath vehicle to explain what needed repaired and why. Always go to them for inspections and oil changes, good to know they are looking out for my safety. These are my new go to maintenance!

Stopped by on a Sunday morning, and caught the manager on his way in to work, an hour and half before opening. We were on a road trip and needed fast help, the team here helped us out and had us back on the road before they were even scheduled to be open! Fast and friendly service, this team went above and beyond! Very professional, quality service.

Went for an inspection on my vehicle and needed them to change out my brake light that I brought myself so my car could pass inspection. I waited in their lobby about 45 mins. While waiting I could visibly see my car was never actually brought into their garage area or even touched. Then the technician came out to tell me my two front tires would not pass inspection. I agree with his assessment but what I did not like is that I was still charged for an inspection that they state they did. They put a copy of my failed inspection in my car and when I read it I noticed it said everything else passed but that is not possible because he did not change out my brake light. Also on my form it states that my car is a Nissan sedan and it is actually a Chevy cobalt. In the past I have gone there many times but now it is under new management. Obviously I won’t be back!

First time customer. Found a $20 off coupon and was told upon arrival that it wasnt for the oil change package I thought it was for. I was able to find another $10 off coupon for it.Service states a 16 point inspection on top of the oil change.I specifically inquired about checking tire pressure because one of my tires were low and my low pressure warning was on in the vehicle. It was also mentioned that my vehicle would be vacuumed.Once the service was finished, I received my bill and for 13 of the 16 inspection points, it says unchecked. I asked the employee behind the counter if they were checked and he stated they were, but must not have been entered properly.Once I returned to my vehicle, I saw that my tire pressure was still reading low. I asked the employee and he said they Must not have reset it.After driving away and getting home, I realized that my tire was still, in fact, low. My vehicle was not vacuumed as advertised, and am now unsure that anything else aside from the oil change was actually completed.For a $60 oil change, I would expect better service. I am dissatisfied with the service that I received on my first, only and likely, last, visit.On a positive note. The gentleman who cashed me out was polite.

I wished I read the reviews before I head over there ! This was my first place to go if I do have any concerns about my car simply because they’re professional and they’ll never overcharge me or ask me to change tons of stuff that I don’t need to! All this changed with the new management who obviously changed the old professional staff .. I simply went there for oil change and they asked me to change bunch of other expensive stuff that I could’ve done it somewhere else with half the price .. as well which is weird my battery died over there they couldn’t get it outside without connecting cables and I have no issues with my batteries at all and that won’t happen if she didn’t open the Cabin Air WITHOUT MY APPROVAL To just show me how dirty it’s and I gotta change it ! This is the last time I’ll deal with them especially that my two other friends had same awful experience!

Joey at Kernersville Grease Monkey was very professional and pleasant to deal with.

I was there about 2 hours for an oil change and inspection. When they finished and brought me in to pay, they told me my total before informing me that my car did not pass inspection. They said my tires were too bald to pass or rotate yet they chose to go forward with an inspection to charge me and make me wait longer. They didnt give me any other details, check my other levels 9r air filter, nor was it cleaned like it usually is when I get an oil change. I have been using this location for years but will not be back.

Well, I stop by Grease Monkey, to find out my options for getting work done to my vehicle, and I would have never know that they do more than just oil change. In the process the young man by the name of Michael Scott, gave me so much information, outstanding professionalism which is rare. I have to say please keep that work ethic, thats an asset to any business, you just cant find that these days. And because of such great personality and product knowledge, Ill be back to get my work done and in the process tell others where they can get car work done. Ill start spreading the news.Good job, I know your mama had to raise you right.

I have been going to this Grease Monkey location for several months now for my oil changes, and then 3 weeks ago I came here to get my inspection. Lesley, Jon, and Frank all went above and beyond to make sure my car was in the best condition to pass the inspection. These people are truly kind and wonderful people. This Grease Monkey went under new management about a couple months ago and it is such a great place to go to now

The new training manager Cody gave me Excellent service an went over an beyond to help me with my problem. He could have charged me for a tpms sensor that is around 75 dallors but little did I know my sensors are indirect an the wheel speed sensors pick up the psi. Not only did Cody teach me something new about my car but he also didn’t take my money for something I didn’t need. It’s a good filling to know you can trust the people working on your car therefore I highly recommend grease monkey an the manager Cody . Go see him an he will definitely take care of your problem.

I have gone to Grease Monkey for years. I have brought mine and my wifes car there. Whenever I go it takes between 20 to 30 minutes and everyone was super friendly. Last time I went I was offered an additive to my oil. It was supposed to help. It was quoted as 20 dollars. This time the oil change took about an hour, they were not busy. There were lots of employees playing on their phones as I waited. I received the bill and I was charged an extra $30 dollars for the additive. The girl in change then asked who quoted me the $20 dollar price. I said you did, when I drove in. It makes you feel special when someone doesnt even recognize you after an hour. The other team knew me. I asked if they had changed ownership, and they said yes. It was plainly obvious. Sneaky prices, not even close to friendly service and long wait times. I asked to contact the new owners. Never heard back.

Very disappointed. I’ve used them for years and been happy until today. Looked under the hood after having oil changed, washer fluid was almost empty. Checked the receipt, was marked as having been topped off. Went back and asked attendant who shrugged, said they were out and kind of smirked. I’d be fine with being told they couldn’t top it off, but to check it off as done when it knowingly wasn’t, gives me a lot of concern about trusting them with my car. If they lie about something as little as the washer fluid, why should I trust them?

Have been going here for 2.5 years with great service until yesterday. Simple state check up, but there was a list of other things they wanted to do, nothing was wrong but it just seemed like it had been awhile since it had been changed.The worst part was only two of the employees were wearing a mask and both of them had them around their chins while talking to me. I don’t think anyone put a mask on while they’re in my car working on it and checking it

They did NOT check the other fluid levels or vaccum and clean windows like the say they do, lied straight to my husbands face even though he watched them the whole time and obviously didnt. Also told him 109$ for oil change in my BMW but then charged 145$! Claimed it was for the extra 2 quarts it requires to fill it, but they knew it took 7 quarts and shouldve quoted to correct price the first time instead of lying so hed do it. Used to be a great place but since knew ownership they ate liars and crooks. Theyll tell you things you need to up sell you even when it doesnt need to be replaced yet. Unprofessional, poor customer service and crooks.

I have been to a couple of oil changing places. I was on vacation in North Carolina and I came across this establishment and I needed an oil change and for them to check my brakes and tires. There was just something special about it. Not only were they fast but they were extremely nice and honest to me about what services I needed. I don’t think I’ve ever had this type of service from a business like this. I will 100% recommend this place for how smooth they work together and got the job done!!!!!

Brakes were noisey. Found out they we grinding and unsafe. So happy they found and fixed the problem.

I went in to grease monkey with my check engine light on, VDC off light on, and a “slip” light on. Frank said that I needed a new AC Belt and extra work done. The estimated cost was around $366! Danielle worked it out and got me approved for $500 on the credit card. I didn’t have to pay anything. A huge weight lifted off of me and my boyfriends shoulders. I would recommend them to anybody! They are amazing, caring and super professional.

I came in to get an oil change and the manager greeted me I talked to me for a minute about the oil and which kind I should be using which I never knew. Daniel was very professional and I will definitely be coming back because of him. You let me know what my and even all the good things on my vehicle. They were very quick and reasonably priced. They were very busy! I was third in line for inspection and they had other jobs going on. I figured I would be there for hours with my 5 yr old son. Omg what have I done. Lol. I started playing with him and before u know it they came back and told me we were done. They were very friendly and even had time to be kind to my son. Poor excuse for mechanic. I asked only for an oil change because the last time I was there they put in the wrong oil and I had to go back. This time they messed with my tires and caused my tire light to come on which was not on when I arrived. My tires have the green cap on the valve stem and they didnt even know that that was for nitrogen.... They sell tires but they didnt know what that was for. I think Ive learned my lesson this time I wont be going back.

I recommend this company anybody thats looking for an honest shop. I had Services done on Friday and the manager Daniel took extra good care of me. You didnt take advantage of me because Im a woman and when I didnt understand something he sat and explained it to me even though there was 10 cars waiting to get their oil change. If youre looking for a great job come here because they definitely got a customer for life.

So I literally just left this place this morning. I went to get quotes on getting a tune up. I met this guy named Rob who was AMAZINGG. Dude was so professional and polite, even though I was ragging him about the price. He ended up working the price out so I didn’t feel cheated for the amount of work I was getting. He also talked me into an oil change but that’s ok. Lol. Definitely would recommend this place.

I judge a place based on how they treat my wife when Im not there. My wife was on the phone with me mostly the whole time when she got her oil changed at Grease Monkey. The way you treated her I will bring all my cars there from now on. He didnt treat her different because she was a woman and didnt try to take advantage of her. Hes honest and runs an auto shop and I will be coming here from now on thank you so much Daniel
