Tried to tell my wife that she needed to get her e brake fixed on her car and it would be $200 to fix before passing inspection. Went to another shop and they did the same exact thing and the car passed inspection… good try but not quick enough skippy.

Went in for the annual state inspection, they were quick and efficient, had the inspection done and out the door in 10 minutes.

Only way I could leave a review was to give at least a 1 star rating but they dont even deserve that. I have been doing to this place for years and never had an issue until today. I went to get an oil change like usual but when I left and made it to my destination something just told me to check my oil bc for some reason the change oil light was still on and I found it odd bc it normally goes off after I get it changed. Well to my surprise once I pop my hood and check the oil there isnt a freaking drop in there. Luckily I really dont have anywhere to go bc I dont want to move my car and chance my motor locking up on me.

Its ok, the people here are nice. Been here a couple of times, but my last time visiting this shop was bad. I was verbally denied service. So I took my 2015 nissan there for an oil change, and after a back and forth with one of the mechanics there, I was denied service because I didnt want synthetic oil. Any one that knows about cars know a regular car doesnt NEED synthetic oil. Regular oil is fine. Anyway, just because of that, I dont think Ill be returning to this shop.

Went to have an alternator belt and brackets installed (already had own parts, just needed them installed). Was quoted $150 to installed and once they had car in bay and took off a part of the car to look at the car then they changed the price to over $500 just to install a belt and brackets and said they are charging for labor and the use of tools. How are you charging me for use of tools that you are suppose to use in your business? and $400 for labor? Another place had quoted me a price of $250 but we went with this place because they quoted a cheaper price, at first. We are stuck here now because they have started the work and having to pay a lot more money than we were expecting for a simple service and they say it would be four hours for this simple installation.This place is a rip-off. Do not use them for any type of service.Should have looked at the other reviews of this place before going here and from now after looking at the reviews and after talking to the female that handles the phone there, I am expecting them to be rude and try to defend their lack of professionalism. To say that I am upset is only saying the least of how I really feel.

Listen this Place is great. Been going hear for years for inspections and fluid services. I get in and I get out but I also come early. They will ask if you wont to service anything. But thats better then the mechanic up the street that will fix your car and break something else and pay a arm and a leg. For the price you should not expect them to do dealership quality work. Also they are great at basic services. I would not take may car here expecting they are going to put a new motor in.

We were told there was a lifetime warranty on their parts and they guarantee their work, little over a year later were having the exact same issue but now theyre saying theres only a 1 year warranty on parts. If the same issue was wrong then that it wrong now, they didnt even diagnose our truck correctly or they punctured the line when repairing brakes! Definitely would not recommend!

Ive been to Kwik Lube & Services on six different occasions for state inspections. In all six trips I have never waited more than twenty minutes from the time I entered to the time I have left, usually Im out in about 10 minutes. The twenty minute wait was for an inspection on a motorcycle at nine am on a Saturday morning. I havent used any of their repaired services but for state inspections thing place cant be beat.

Went in for an oil change and specified conventional 5w20... completed the oil change with synthetic blend and proceeded to try to tell me that 5w20 is not a conventional oil... when I stated that isn’t true the manager then changed the statement to that they did use conventional oil. When I stated that is not what he had just told me and that the ticket stated it was synthetic blend used, he hung up on me.I can understand if they do not carry conventional, however when a customer asks for a specific oil that the vehicle specifically calls for before services are rendered then it should be stated that the product isn’t available in order for the customer to decide is they still want to proceed. Also, when a customer calls to question the issue telling them false statements about the product (that it is not made) is not okay in-order to avoid fixing the problem.In addition, they included a laundry list of “check-ups” that they said needed to be completed on my vehicle because it wasn’t showing in any system. Not that they checked them, but just because it wasn’t in their system they needed to be done.This is NOT the way service should be handled, and this is a prime example of why the service industry has a bad name.

Excellent place to get your car service. Staff and owner very courteous to me. They were straight forward when it came to servicing my car. I am happy I let them fix my car right the first time. I previously had shop mass my car up they fixed all goof off for rock bottom price. I found my new mechanic.

Shady!!! Evidently one of the managers (not sure if there is more than one manager) tells the employees doing state inspections that when they test the parking break to rev the engine up to 1500 RPM. The state only requires that the vehicle stays in place when put into gear...no accelerator applied. I am a mechanic and adjusted my own parking break. Its good.

I would give them no stars. They are rude and didn’t put my inspection in the system so I could not renew my registration online. I called they said I had to come back and prove I had it done. When I asked if they have records on file he refused to answer. This was the second time I had issues with this place. Thought I would give them a second chance but never again will I take my vehicle there. I also reported them to the licensing agency.

I like this location because its close to my work and the customer service is GREAT! When Ive gone here for oil changes and/or state inspections, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, informative and very efficient in their duties. If youre fortunate enough to get GEORGE doing any service to your vehicle, he will remind you of scheduled recommended services based on you vehicles mileage. However, he is in no way pushy with those services. There are other places in the Killeen area that could learn from these guys on how to treat the customers that keep your business open. Keep up the good work guys!

Good people. I bought parts for parts store to install it hoping it will fix my check engine light. They quickly looked at parts and gave me price to installed them. Luckily they did diagnosis before installing parts. Turns out Autozone sold me parts based on code but that not what I needed. If They did not do diagnosis I would be out of $280.00 and cant blame them for it because they did not do diagnosis. Turns out fix was simple vacuum leak and they fix it and did not even charged me. Not even for Diagnosis. Lesson Learned, not be my own doctor.

Asked to get something fixed and had to explain what it was!!! I said clockspring I was asked by the mechanic if it was located in my dash board. When I said no. The steering wheels I was asked oh you need a new steering wheel???Mechanic should’ve known as soon as I said what I needed. Not going there anymore.I know what I needed done. We took my car in for an inspection yesterday and while we were there we got a transmission flush. Everything went fine and they were done the same day. However, when we picked my car up it started having problems it had never had before. The engine started shaking bad as soon as we left so we came back to see if they could take a look and help us figure out why and make sure it had nothing to do with the work that was done. My car has an incased transmission so other parts had to be removed for this to be done. The mechanics were nice and understanding about it and had no problem looking for us. One even offered to test drive it with me to see if it happened with him so he could give me a better answer as to what it could possibly be.The manager wanted to charge us for the test drive. The Indian woman(manager) however was unprofessional and even had a full on argument with my husband because she immediately gave us 10 other reasons why my car was not fixed when I did not see her look at it. I looked at the reviews for this place after and felt that many of her responses to the comments are even more unprofessional and keep placing blame back on the customer. I am not sure how they do things where she is from but here courtesy and understanding will get you a long way. We understood that maybe it was something else but wanted to make sure seeing as I drive my two little ones in my car. If she had handled the situation better I would have recommended this place. However, just the thought of possibly dealing with her again will keep us away and recommend that others do not go....There was a mechanic I believe his name was George who was fantastic and super helpful. He listened and understood our concerns and did the best he could to offer us advice on how to fix our issue. Thank you

Went there to get my Texas state inspection done. I was in and out within 5 minutes. I was met at my vehicle when I pulled into the parking lot and it was immediately looked at. They didnt try to find faults with my vehicle to make an extra sale.Friendly, quick, and honest.

I go here for my State Inspections. They are usually pretty quick if you go during off peak. I have not had them work on my vehicle, so I cannot speak on their technical skills.

I had my car pulling to right took in there to have them check it out. Turns out be my outer tie rod and lower control arm was bad. I did not had money at that time to fix it so, after few days I went back in to have them complete the repair. it was cheaper then their competition and fixed on same day. WOW. I will be back as usual. They also gave me ride back to home.

Terrible experience here. I went here to get an oil change and alignment and when i left, my car was the same if not worse. My alignment (that i payed $100) was still way off. So i took it back and the guy told me I was his 5th customer to bring their car back because he didnt fix their alignments correctly. Then told me he hadnt calibrated his alignment machine in over 8 months.. so that was probably why it wasnt working? So he fixed it a second time and i drove away and still nothing had changed. A complete waste of money and time! Would not recommend coming here to anyone. The older indian couple that run this place are very rude and I watched them raise their voice to a customer who was politely explaining a concern to them. 0/5 stars.

All workers were rude. Oil change only took 10 minutes but the maintainer got oil all over the undercarriage of my car. I have no sense that the job was done right, and the atmosphere presented by the management was not at all what I look for in a car care place. The mechanic also read my mileage wrong. Instead of 69,800, he saw it as 96,800 and tried to sell me a bunch of service I have never heard of because my mileage was above 90k. Bottom line: the employees were shady.

What kind of business owner allows his/her workers to charge for a repair that was not completed? Went to get brakes bleed, brakes are worse then what I went in there with and they charged. Almost all mechanic places I have been too do NOT charge when the services are not completed properly!

I was there to have something checked on my car. They assisted me without fail and informed me on a problem that was getting worse. Will continue to use them for oil changes and different maintenance issues.

Went for an inspection. Took less than 10 minutes & they even pulled my car up to the door so I didnt have to walk across the parking lot with my 2 month old daughters in the Texas winds.

They Did tune up and fixed my missfire on my engine. I was worrying that I may need new engine due to one of the other shop told me had low compression. Turned out after Kwik Lube did dignosis they found cam shaft actuator was not working correctly and told me $280.00 to replace it on my chevy. I authorized work and now it runs like champ. Thanks KWIK LUBE, I will be back.

As the Owner, you should have spoken to your staff prior to assuming anything.Then you walk into the waiting room and say to me in a negative tone that you dont want to open my hood in which your shop has done many times but again had you spoken to your staff he would have explain to you how to open the hood and what oil that I had already requested. Once I corrected you in front of your staff of course now its my fault and Im being rude. Again, I will not nor will I advise anyone that Im associated with to use your services that you may have in Killeen.Also, from reading your reviews which is a 3.5 it looks like you have had your share of problems before . your reviews are the lowest in Killeen and you cant keep your staff on hand. I think you need to do some self-elvaluation.

My wife went to just get an oil change. She was told the oil hadnt been changed the last 6K miles. They told her she needed to have the engine flushed. When I went to the shop to ask the manager about this practice she had nothing in writing about it. I was a mechanic for many years and never heard of this practice by any other shop but this Kwik Lube. The shop took advantage of my wifes knowledge of cars by charging her $100 for an job I am positive was not even done. If your vehicle has not had its oil changed every 3K miles expect to be told this ridiculous news. I will never use their service again and I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Went here to get my battery replaced..called before i got there and they said they could do it...it was a last minute emergency and they were closing soon..got there they tested the battery and said it was fine...I go to auto zone got it tested and it read I needed a new one...the guy at auto zone tried it 3 times and all the readings came back negative....the battery is in a tough spot so auto zone isnt allowed to replace it for me it has to be a shop with a lift to get under the car..

Beware!! I took my Tahoe in for a routine oil change and was told I needed a oil pan gasket which they quoted 450.00 so I took my truck to a certified shop well I did not have a gasket leak issue they over filled my oil by 2quarts which caused it to build pressure and leak out and could of caused major engine issues, needless to say the owners are just scammers looking to make more money with unlicensed staff. Beware

They did my alignment. No problem found no charge, since i had more work done there.

My first and last time at this location. I dont know why I didnt go to Walmart or the Honda dealership like I usually do. They tried charging me almost $70 for an oil change. I had stopped them before they started the oil change to clarify the price and was shown something less than what I was told at checkout. Total scam and ripoff!!! I was told I could be given $5 off. Gee thanks. How about you dont lie to your customers or instead of worrying up selling, tell me the truth when I ask you what the price is. Oh and make sure you read all the signs in the shop including those by the ceiling. My advice go to the dealership or Walmart. Ive had better experiences. Ill take quality over quickness any day of the week.In response to the owner: Thats funny because Ive been going to Honda and Walmart for years and never have I been charged that much. Always in the $50 range and way better customer service than what youre clearly providing. And that definitely shows what little knowledge you have about cars because my car takes 3.8 quarts of oil not 5.5 quarts. Still youre incapable of telling the truth.People that read this review you can clearly see this owner has no interest in integrity or putting customers first. And to nearly double the amount of oil that goes in to my car to embellish your story makes me question how much you really put in there.

After charging my wife $85 for an upcharged (overcharged) synthetic oil change the vehical started leaking oil in the garage from the drain plug. I took the vehicle back to the shop knowing it was a small issue me and the tech (who was helpful and empathetic to the situation) observed the leak from the drain plug. I then found out that during oil changes that they do not replace drain plugs, gaskets, or the copper crush washers that my wifes car uses. The manager then proceeded to argue about the visual inspection of the drain plug and the gasket (crush washer) i then had to educate the so called mechanic on crush washers and how they are only used once. She did not enjoy this and then just ignored everything else that i said as i went down myself under the pit and reinstalled the old washer because she refused to replace it....a small washer that would have cost less than $3. My personal suggestion is to steer clear of this place unless it is to get a vehicle that wouldnt pass inspection certified for registration.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE TO GET WORK DONE. THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND WILL MESS UO YOUR CAR THEN TRY TO BLAME IT ON SOMETHING ELSE!!! They were supposed to do an alignment. I waited for an hour for them to tell me my aftermarket tires were too big and they couldnt the alignment. I went and switched out my tires to low profile so that would not rub against the strut or shocks or whatever its called anymore. Came back the next day and they said yes we can do it now. Waited two and a half hours for them to tell me that they did the front wheel alignment but couldnt finish the back because I needed a spacer for my tires. I went and got the spacer thatbi needed and they said they would be able to do it again. I noticed that when I drive my car over 40 mph thatbit would start wobbling. I called them and they said to bring it back. When I get there they tried to say it was because I need an alignment I told them my car was not doing that before they started trying to do alignment on it. She said because they werent able to finish the alignment thats why its doing that. She said the would fix it . So they tried the alugnment again but didnt even get ariund to doing anything befire they came back and said they cant di tne alignment bevause i have the wrong tires and I need different ines. I blew up at that poi t bevause they messed up something that caused me car to start wobbling but they wouldnt correct all the kept saying was it was my tires but Ive had the same rims and same kind of tires for over over year ...all i did was get new tires but the same kind. They are fraud and bogus and horrible place to get work done.

My wife took her car in for an oil change at the Qwik Kar Lube & Tune in Harker Heights on 15 June 2015. One hour and twenty minutes later the mechanic, Kaydree asked if weve had problems with our vehicle starting. Which we replied, no. They used the jump box to get the vehicle started and as we were pulling out of the mechanic bay the vehicle would no longer turn left or right. No customer service or professionalism as the mechanic Steven, was eating chicken and touch our hood with greasy fingers trying to figure out what the problem was with our vehicle. Worst experience Ive ever had for an oil change and now and now uncertainty that our vehicle is still in good working condition.

I took my F-150 Supercrew to this place with an agreement that I was going to pay $2500 (labor and a used transmission to be installed). Theres a worker named Tony whom served me upon my arrival and gave me two options. 1. A used transmission including labor for a price of $2500.00 2. new transmission with labor $3500. I specifically told him I wanted the first option. This was Monday December 1, 2014 I took my truck there. What went wrong was that the Kwik Lube did not make an agreement on paper upon an estimated cost to me. Tony just told me about my options and then I just went ahead with the first option. The next day, Dec 2, 2014; I stopped by there during lunch time to check on the status if theyve received the parts, the lady that works there told me that they were going to receive the parts Wednesday Dec 3. Again she was tracking that I was going for $2500. She asked me for a deposit and she asked me for either $2000.00 or $1500.00. To my surprise, I did not expect any deposits. Therefore I told her that I would pay $500.00 and I will pay the rest when I came to pick up my truck. On Friday, Dec 5, I went to Kwik Lube to pick up my truck and the lady that work there I dont know her name, told me it was $3500. They charged me for a brand new transmission which I didnt ask for ($2500.00) and labor $1000.00. I was completely disappointed. They keep on telling me that I told them $3500.00 when I knew that we agreed on $2500.00 even though there was no paper. I could have known better but they should have. Its their job to detail everything and call the customer up for an estimate way in advance when they find out what was wrong. I had a hard time arguing with the workers there for what I asked for. However I ended up paying $2,984.00. This is after they cut the cost of labor down by $500. Still I lose almost a $1000.00 on something I did not want. They keep on telling me that they do have the video recording when I came there and told them that I did ask for $3500.00. When I asked to play that video, they wouldnt show it to me but to my lawyer. This is completely bullshit and I didnt like it at all. If they do have a recording of when I asked for what I wanted then why wouldnt they show it to me? I know the answer, because they did realize that I was right. I will not forever take any of my business to this place. Tony and the lady that works there were completely rude and they were fighting and arguing with me to cover their mess. I knew what I asked for and they lied to cover themselves and wouldnt play the video of the conversation that took place on the first day.
