I have had the most incredible experience at Visionworks King of Prussia location. Justin provided excellent service, showing sections to look at and more importantly giving me my space to go through them on my own time. After picking out a few frames, getting family input on text, Justin was the additional vote I needed to choose between two frames. He happily priced the option to theoretically purchase two frames on various plans with my insurance but, I let practical senses take over and decided on one in the end. Drs exam was also a great experience. The technician was equally wonderful — friendly throughout the whole machine tests (this even when there was at least 3 more customers behind me). The doctor saw me right away, answered my questions, and off I went to place my order with Justin and get my glasses/lens fitted.I received my glasses less than a week later (ordered Saturday, received Thursday) despite a promise delivery of two weeks. Physical pickup was a breeze with no wait time. Again I received 5-star service from Justin who located my glasses had me try them on and I was out the door in 5 minutes. An exceptional experience and definitely the best experience I’ve had shopping for glasses. I highly recommend Visionworks and the professional team that works there.

Felt the positive and professional atmosphere as soon as I entered this location. I was greeted promply by an associate named Justin B. He was very welcoming and made my first impression of Visionworks great! My daughter was here for a contact exam. The entire staff was engaging and helpful. Visionworks in King of Prussia is the best place to buy glasses. I needed Reading, Distance and Prescription Sunglasses. Justin was very professional and extremely helpful and patient while I picked out 3 pair of frames. This location has a great selection of frames. The rest of the staff were very polite and friendly. Doctor was great, and I hate to give negative reviews, but the woman at the front was EXTREMELY pushy for me to purchase my entire year supply of contacts (that are changing brand and prescription) without a trial. Saying the doctor normally doesnt do trials, Im not sure why he would tell you that, I need to talk to him. I have been wearing glasses since 3rd grade (Im 31 now) and contacts ever since I could put them in my eyes. I have NEVER gotten an updated contact presription, or changed brands without FIRST having a trial. From what I understand is they make commission off sales, which i can only assume leads to the pushiness....but the fact that the last interaction was well call you when your trials come in since youre not sure if youre going to like them genuinely left a BAD taste in my mouth.

This place is worse than a nightmare. Had an eye exam. The doctor was absolutely professional and very kind. However, the assistant did a retinal exam with one of their newest machines and failed to inform me that the retinal exam was not covered by insurance. She literally lied and said that she informed me prior to exam when actually she did not. The manager, Kristen, is very unprofessional and very nasty! When purchasing my my contacts, she stated I had an allowance of $176. I literally watched her on the computer bring up my insurance plan. Not once did I see an allowance number for $176. When I 1st asked her to explain where that number came from, she more so ignored my question. I asked her a second time and she became very irate and attacked me, saying I was “being rude” and “badgering” her because I asked her to explain where she was getting that allowable amount from twice. What I did find out after talking to my insurance company was that the manager, Kristen, was quoting incorrect information. Kristen knew that once I called my insurance company, she would be recognized as providing false information. Do not waste your time in this store with unprofessional people!

I visited the shop one week ago. The sales representative that helped me was very courteous and provided good advice. They had more frame options than in other stores that I visited (from Visionworks).They had my glasses ready in a little less than two weeks.

The manager Kristen demanded we get a retina exam even though we refused because it’s an up sale and they get a spiff on when customers use the machine it’s one thing to up sale but to try and say it’s been mandatory for people to take since covid was a bold face lie to try and squeeze extra money out of us if that’s what you doing in sales and business today I can see why people are going online to purchase there glasses and contacts lenses. Horrible customer service for a place who’s service is customers

The have the latest technology to examine your eyes ! Optometrist great ! However assistant manager went over to manger as I was trying to process all the information and manger said I was definitely breaking the law . I said what law and she said you videotaped our sales associate ! I felt the need to defend myself as there was no sign in the store saying I couldnot videotape if i have traumatic brain injury, deaf and visually impaired . I walked out crying and didnot have the money for the glasses i needed .

Absolute nightmare!! went in to do a simple $15 fix on the nose of my ray ban sunglasses and an employee broke it off!! went back because they said they would replace them, and offered me a different pair not similar to mine, then told me i’d have to pay $100… When i asked why and wanted an explanation Kristin met me with hostility and rudeness. Completely unprofessional and was attacked for wanted an understanding. Terrible service and i feel bad for anyone who is met with her ”help”.

Unless you have time to spare, I recommend going somewhere else.The staff needs help (ex. 2 out of the 3 people on the floor were new). They seem to be perpetually busy causing long waits for check-ins, check-outs, even pick-ups.Visionworks operating system seems outdated leaving the staff at even more of a disadvantage.Getting someone on the phone is difficult as well (even for their own system operators). Yesterday, I was placed on hold for almost 20mins, hung up, called back again just to be placed on hold for almost 10 more minutes..They hustle but need help. Burn out is real & may lead to good people leaving.*FYI - Since Covid, Visionworks discontinued overnight shipping. My Trial Contacts took 10 days to come; they usually take ~4.

On june 7th, i went to this location for an eye exam and glasses. the exam went fine, loved the Dr. but when i got into the room where you pick your glasses, i got treated very rudely and disrespectfully by the little white blonde haired manager, she made a comment OUT LOUD, to the clerk helping me to just give him his receipt and get him out of here, then she said, hes already broke, as if she was assuming that because Im black that I dont have any money. I am going to contact Channel 10 about this. DONT GO HERE

I visited VisionWorks in King of Prussia PA for the third time since 2017 today. Once again the service was excellent. The people working there are great. They are friendly and incredibly helpful. I have come to expect great service from them and I wasnt disappointed again today. They out did themselves, finding my insurance coverage, fixing my old glasses, and giving great advice for new glasses.

One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had! Gabriel did a fantastic job, not only with figuring out an insurance issue I had, but by entertaining my child while I was on the phone. Everyone who works at this store is so helpful and knowledge and truly wants you to have the best experience with your vision health as possible. At my most recent visit, they sterilized everything to keep me safe, they walked me through each step of the process, and even helped guide me through talking to my insurance company. I would definitely recommend going here for all your vision needs!

Worst place ever...i get contact lenses and i get 3 different appointments..the last one the doctor told the guy at front desk to get my order and he told me i dont need to do nothing else they will call me when my order is ready.i call 3 times because past 2 weeks and every body told me nothing yet..and the last 4 time i call the girl told me is not order there for me..for real?!!! I had a great experience with my visit at this location.I was going on a trip and had no contacts so I called and was able to get a last minute appointment because someone else canceled.When I got there, the clerk who helped me was super helpful and even helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. The doctor was nice, exam was fast, efficient and comprehensive. Also, because I was going on vacation and didn’t have any contacts, they gave me free samples to hold me over until my order gets shipped! Also, the price for glasses was really reasonable—since I purchased both contacts and glasses, my glass (lens and frame) was 60% off.Overall, I would definitely recommend this location. I don’t understand why the other reviews were so negative, but I had an overwhelmingly positive experience.

I went for an eye exam today for the first time since 1998, so I was very nervous and unsure of what to expect, given some of the other reviews. The doctor was wonderful and explained everything efficiently. I interacted with everyone working on the floor and they were incredible as well. This was my very first pair of glasses and I was in and out within an hour and a half and my first pair of glasses was ready an hour later. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

I have worn glasses for the last 15 years, and this was by far the most efficient, customer-friendly experience purchasing frames that Ive ever had. Staff stayed well after the end of their shift to assist me while still showing fantastic customer service, thoroughly explained exactly what I was paying to add/make to my lenses, and will have the frames done in less than 24 hours. Honestly I never take the time to write reviews but they truly deserve it.

They messed up my original order, which ended up pushing my pickup date back a week. Once the lenses came in they looked like something out of the 70’s. The lenses were to thick and weren’t anywhere near advertised, considering my glasses script is so low it would never look like that to begin with..my current glasses are from LensCrafters. Needless to say they’re awesome, look good and quick there as a business.I went to Visionworks because they had the frames I wanted but I won’t ever make that mistake again. Stay away from this company they’re not reputable and helpful in any way..I would advise going to a different vision store.

Apparently theres a 15 minute cancellation policy that isnt communicated to you during scheduling, nor posted online when scheduling. I arrived 19 minutes late for an appointment that they initally had to reschedule. I left work early and unfortunately hit some traffic trying to get there. The receptionist was rude and not helpful.My husband and I have both been here in the past and had very pleasant experiences. It is highly unlikely well continue to go there now.

One of the worst customer service experiences of my life.Ive been wearing contacts for 25 years, I know what I like and what works for me. I had never tried their store brand contact - which they push really hard, by the way - and the sample I was given during my exam didnt have visibility tint (that faint coloration around the iris area that lets you see them if you drop them or while they are soaking in the case) also, unlike my typical Acuvue Oasys, they dont have markings (1,2,3) on the rim so you can, at a glance, tell if they are inside out. I know, not earth shattering features, but I like what I like.While I was advised they dont have writing for you to see if they are inside out, they do have the visibility tint option - so I ordered those on the endorsement of the sales person.When I pick them up two months later (mind you, my appointment was in December and I paid in full for the year of contacts and a pair of Kate Spade sunglasses, which as you can imagine werent cheap) I had grown tired of waiting for notification they were ready and popped in for a status update - surprise they had them! Anyhow, when she rustled up the boxes of contacts from the back and I opened them, to my dismay, no visibility tint was apparent. So I asked about it.Apparently any time you are remotely dissatisfied you will be met with gaslighting - I was told there is no such thing as visibility tint and Im making it up (despite it being listed on the box of contacts I was handed by her as a feature) and shes never heard of it. I was treated dismissively and made to wait for no real apparent reason as she failed to use that time to actually consult with someone knowledgeable about the product. I dont appreciate being treated like Im some kind of crazy Karen because I want the product that I was prescribed, that I ordered, and that I paid for. The whole experience was frustrating. I understand that she was a young woman and perhaps not the most experienced but really, if you dont know about a very standard default feature on the product you are selling - its a problem with the stores training. Its also indicative of larger problems when the default in those situations is to be rude to the customer, instead of asking the eye doctor or someone that might be more knowledgeable about the product for insight.This has honestly soured my entire experience with this company as a whole and Ill never step foot in one of these franchises again.

Elysse was extremely helpful and had the most pleasant disposition as she helped me tighten 3 pairs of eyeglasses 2 weeks ago -- when I wasnt even a customer of Vision Works! I now have my first appointment this week at Vision Works in the King of Prussia mall. Elysse is the person you want greeting you as you walk in -- her smile is infectious!

Definitely agree that they need better employee training. I had two pairs of glasses made (which took me two weeks) and stopped by a few month later to get one pair adjusted since the fitting was not perfect from the first place. They told me to wait and just assisted with the paying patient. When I asked if I can get help after waiting for 30 minutes, the employee said patients come first and if I dont like it I can go to other places. Right, I can always go to other places to buy glasses that offers better customer services by well-mannered employees. Dont bother with this place.

If only having nice people matters when you purchase eyewear than this place will do. The selection of frames is limited to black and or silver frames. There were no colored, brown or tortoise colored frames. The first pair of glasses I bought were selected based on Visionwork recommendation but when my family saw them I had to return them. The nice person at Visionworks had an “attitude” about return-exchange but I finally got the exchanged glasses after about a week to 10-days. Last note: For the first time in 40-years of wearing glasses the frame broke after only 1-year which leads me to believe the quality of some brands is low. When I brought them back for repair they wanted $75 to reconnect the part that goes over the ear. The lens were fine. I am not going to Visionworks for future eyewear.

Worst experience ever with an Eye Doctor - It was shortest eye exam of my life and they store manager does not understand what she is doing, nor they understands the clients requirement. They dont bother about their customers, both were very rude not fit for their job. I come from ophthalmologist family and never seen such a behavior from any one.( My Father in law is an MD ophthalmologist and my brother in law is an optometrist). I thought Visinworks is a brand and they provide quality support to their customers which they never do ! I will not recommend any one to visit... go to your local stores they are way more better than these guys..

I wouldnt recommend them. 40 years of wearing contacts and eyeglasses and they want DOB and a medical history form filled out? I can go to walmart and get the exact same service(eye/contact exam) with just my credit card. I know this because Ive done it. Avoid.

I got my prescription and frame from there but then got my glasses/progressive made at somewhere else because It was cheap there. After I got my glasses I was not comfortable with them.. seems like far is fine and able to see computer only through center of glass lense. I contacted vision work and wanted an appointment with Dr again about the issue I am facing. The staff argued with me for almost 45 minute before giving me appointment with a different Dr. If I have wore those glasses that would have ruined my eyes and must have increased my number. They were giving stupid reason oh your lense is not made correctly, try for sometime, progressive lense take time to adjust. I am not giving bad review because I got wrong prescription but because they did so much drama to make a second appointment with Dr. I hope these people understand that their simple mistake can ruin somebodies eye...

Wow...worst experience at a Eye Dr ever. Most times I dont bother posting a review, I just dont go back and they lose my business. They have absolutely no idea what theyre doing. The Dr was ok, seemed personable once I got in to see her, but it was the shortest eye exam I have ever had in my life (and I am not young). It was a simple Youre prescription hasnt changed after a 3 minute exam. In the end, I was given 2 types of contacts and was told to call back when I had decided on the contacts I wanted to purchase, to ask directly for the dr or I could leave a message.That was not the worst part...it was the people that work there. One was completely clueless (in drastic need of training on both customer service and the product he is handling). After spelling my 5 character name for the 3rd time, then being asked if that was my 1st or last name, I asked if I could just leave a message for the dr. with my contact choice. No, the dr will call you when she is done with her patient. This was in the morning.Its now getting to the end of the work day, so I call back, this person was just plain rude when I called. After the 3rd call, I asked if she could confirm the message was received. Response was the doctor is seeing patients now, and will call you back when she has the time. I just wanted to make sure she had received the message. I waited until the next day to call yet again as I had not yet received a call back. I was put on hold for 15 mins, then the dr came to the phone. Again, the dr is very nice, and I was able to tell her of my decision.Now, I am having a hard time getting there to pick up my contacts, and call to ask if they can ship them to me. No, we cant send them to a residence...what???? since when? I have been getting contacts shipped to me for years from other eye drs. I had gone to a different Visionworks in the past, in Exton, PA. They were wonderful. If I decide to stay with a Visionworks, it will not be the one in the KOP mall. I will travel further to get there.
