I needed a small unit to house my daughter’s dorm room belongings while her university shut down due to COVID. I compared prices and available units and Extra Space Storage was really easy to deal with and had the cheapest price. The gentleman working at the facility explained everything to me (never rented a storage unit before) and gave my family his whole attention. It was much easier than I ever thought it would be. I cannot thank the gentleman there (not sure if he was the manager he really knew everything I needed to know) as it was a great experience.

My experience was overall a good one even if it ended up costing a small fortune to keep the storage units all those years. I really appreciatedthe times you worked with me when funds were difficult. While management was super friendly and helpful, items were there only 2 months and everything was soaking wet and moldy. Much was ruined and had to be thrown out. For $200 climate controlled unit I would have thought we could count on it being dry and secure. A huge mess.

EVERY staff member is polite, patient and understanding. They are always a pleasure to speak with! The units are clean well managed. I highly recommend this facility!

This was my first time ever renting a storage unit and I was nervous about the experience at first. Grant and Dan were extremely helpful with the process and customer service was top notch. I called Grant and asked about purchasing locks, and when Dan went to show me my unit the lock was already in there. They made a stressful process relieving and I can’t recommend it here enough.

Due to COVID, I was able to sign for and rent a locker without meeting anyone in person. The people at this location were so friendly and helpful over the phone. Site was easy to access and there were always carts around to help move items. I had 2 sets of movers come here & all found it quick and easy to access, as well. We wanted to store our home goods for the Summer while we were between semesters and needed supplies as well. They had a convenience pack of boxes with tape and marker which suited our needs. Staff here are amazing! I forgot to grab the names of the individuals but when I first signed the lease, the staff who assisted me was awesome. Explained every little details in simple terms so I can understand better.I went to clear out my space on 2/13. When I was done, I noticed I had a pallet that I needed to get rid of. The staff (I forgot to ask for his name) went above and beyond to help me with it. This isnt part of his job but still he helped me to get the job done.If I need to rent a space again in this area, this would definitely be the place!

My rental experience at ESS was wonderful. Tim was the employee helping us and he was very accommodating. When we made a mistake, he was there to help. He made sure the process was as easy as possible, and that we would be on our way quickly.

The storage unit was affordable and suited my needs for two years, and the staff working at the North Gulph location were exceptionally nice and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for affordable storage space.

To whom it may concern,I would like to THANK YOU and your company, for another pleasant experience over the Christmas holidays in 2020. Dan, at the King of Prussia location, was once again a lifesaver and went above-and-beyond to get me into a unit (after hours) while it was COLD, WINDY and RAINING there on Christmas Eve!This was my 2nd time renting a unit at his location, and again, he went above-and-beyond by doing the registration over the phone BEFORE I arrived (which was after closing).When I finally arrived, tired after a 2-day 800 mile trip. Dan had left a lock for me inside the unit (I still had my previous lock) just in caseI I forgot or misplaced my old one. He also tagged the unit so I could see it was ready to use.Dan was once again very helpful and followed up a week later, after the holidays, to ensure I had all the registration forms complete. He was able to confirm and use all my info (which hadnt changed) from my previous rental without me actually being there in person to complete. That saved me alot of time, money and hassle of making a 50 mile trip out and back to complete that process. I have two elderly parents with some health issues and so I am back and forth alot as emergency situations arise. Having helpful staff like you do, makes my life SO MUCH EASIER when a crisis or urgent situation occurs with my family.Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for another pleasant experience. I would also like to thank the young nan at the Mannyunk location as well since last time I was in town I rented there as well since that was a closer option for me. He too went above and beyond for me getting me into a spot in his garage on short notice as well. Malvern folks have also been helpful and patient with me in the past when I used their location as well. Both gentleman there were very kind and patient trying to locate a spot for me to park while visiting over the summer.I will continue to use Extra Space storage because your staff and regional managers are very well trained and FRIENDLY and actually CARE ALOT about customer service and being feiendly, pleasant and helpful. Its always a pleasant experience dealing with them regardless of the location. They all know each other and communicate well to solve the customers needs by calling around to see who had a unit in the size I needed (height clearance is an issue with my high-rise camper-top) saving me alot of time and trouble. My experience at this location is unforgettable. I walked in totally stressed out about my situation. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the door with a warm welcome and beautiful smile. From start to finish Crystal the property manager was so amazing. Her personality shows that she loves her job and loves being around people. The property is well maintained and security is great. Crystal is the star of this property. Customers know her by name and she makes personal connections with them. I was no different. She assured me that she wanted my best interest and NOT my money. Ive checked out a few storage compaines before coming to King of Prussia. This location was a little more costly, but I prefer to have quality and this location offers that with Crystal being the store asset. Overall experience was amazing!

Al and Dan are AMAZING! They worked patiently with me and my friend to set up my storage rental while I was out of the area. They excel at providing awesome customer service and communication!

Working with Dan and Al was a complete pleasure they made checking in and checking out very quick and painless. The only thing I would change is that the units are not air conditioned! But overall a really good experience and I would definitely work with extra space again!

This place is amazing. The storage facilities are clean, well lit, and easy to access. Our unit was located on the second floor. I figured it would be a pain to maneuver all of our stuff into the elevator and through the halls, but we managed just fine. There are plenty of moving trolleys and the elevator is spacious and has key pad protected entry. They provide excellent customer service. Ally, the assistant store manager, is prompt, very nice, and helpful. I pestered her with so many questions, but she was patient and happy to assist. Moving can be such an exhausting experience, so the great service at this place ended up being a real blessing. One less thing to stress about.

I used this storage facility for nearly two years when I downsized to a smaller place. The employees were all kind and friendly, and the gated access made me feel like all of my things were safe. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a reasonably priced storage facility.
