Ed-San exited his crew meeting to serve us, followed us all the way to marble chips and loaded 20 heavy bags for us onto the cart with his gentle smile. He then pulled cart out to our car and loaded all bags into our car !!! We told the manager he has an excellent professional worker, and we will buy all home appliances and home renovations from them, the manager offered us gloves for loading and candy bars ! Surely we will always visit this Home Depot location ! Thanks Ed-San and the friendly manager ! We love you folks at this Home Depot! Bless you all !
This is in regards to their Kitchens Department: the representative was very nice & friendly, but its been almost 6 months since they collected 100% of the money for the quartz counter project at my home. Their third-party vendor, Stone Works measured in June and then nothing. I get an email from Home Depot this past week (October) saying they moved to another third-party vendor and have to start the process & timeline all over again. **GO DIRECTLY TO THE VENDOR - AVOID HOME DEPOT as an intermediary.** No discounts or apologies...next step will be to contest the charge with American Express.
Michelle in the paint department was so knowledgeable. I am in the process of starting renovations and had a few niche questions that I hadn’t had time to research before, but I felt confident moving forward with all of her suggestions.
Know what you want, its great. Need help? Good luck finding an associate that understands home repair projects.
OK, I will tell you that I usually avoid shopping at Home Depot for political reasons. However, sometimes I make an exception, as I did today. When doing so, I received such caring and knowledgeable help in the tool department from an older gentleman employee whose name I wish I had gotten, that I had to leave this review. This is especially in light of the fact, that I have not been impressed with the customer service at this particular store previously.
Jason in the appliance section was so helpful while looking for a new dryer. Although they are sold out in store at the moment, he was very knowledgeable about what brand to buy! Thank you Jason for your help! This experience was much better than Lowe’s of just down the road!
The Kingston Home Depot deserves these 5 stars especially for a few employees like John in the paint department who Never steered me wrong and Shawna at checkout, who really went out of her way to get the products I needed.
Sweet staff but I feel like its always under staffed bc I always find Im in some line there
Jason the employee from appliances has helped me numerous times over the last few weeks in not only his department many other departments, always helpful and has suggestions! The store is decently priced normally has what i want.. And if something is broken they replace or have given me a full refund ... No complaints other than ive spent too much there recently 😂
Great place to get things for home repairs & other things you need.
Friendly and hardworking staff...nice toys for my jobs
They need to clean house! No wonder they lose so much business The employees refer you to Lowe’s. Girl heather wearing a satanic hoodie with a skirt on the ladder with no pants underneath is not a good sight to see. I will NOT shop for a place that praises satan!
Well staffed and large selection of summer items. Outdoor area was great. Good prices on plants and Garden needs.
Very large, lots of productsVery clean. Helpful staff.
I found Im more likely to get help if I have questions then at Lowes. There online home stuff is awesome.
The worst Home Depot Ive ever been to. Young kids are great but know nothing, older employees apear to be humiliated working there. Maybe they need a manager.
We drove 40 minutes to the store and arrived after the 2 hour timeframe originally stated in the email for an online pickup. The order was not pulled due to them being busy. Blake was the associate who assisted us and he was wonderful. When we told him how far we drove he went out of his way to locate the product and get it pulled for us. There were some issues with the equipment so it took a while for the product to be pulled from the shelf but Blake stayed with us the hole time and ran around the store for us to try to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. Although the order pickup took a while, Blake’s awesome customer service saved the experience for us.
Always good selection, busy though
Everything a homeowner could possibly need to fix or build whatever they had to around the house or even a house
Couldnt find what I wanted and what I did they didnt have enough ended up ordering on Amazon anddd...the employees run and hide...
I have a lot of projects going on, I find everything I need and more, although I cant hang curtains straight, every time I go there I feel like building something.
Were able to match the paint I needed.
One of my favorites places! Gotta love tools!
Excellent 👌 source. Love their return policy and the Pro Desk back-office to track our orders and purchases.
Bought ryobi trimmer...it was a lemon...Home depot replaced it...fast honest no hassle
Have literally spent thousands of dollars in the store probably $25,000 to be exact but all my Milwaukee tools there.Tried to return a toolbox that broke and was guaranteed for life the woman at the sales desk said too bad you don’t have the receipt was very rude you just lost a very good customer will no longer be shopping here
Very messy. No prices displayed on items I was looking for
Today I was helped by Andrew in the paint department. He was able to color match a piece of base mounding trim exactly. Two other local paint departments were unsuccessful and when his first attempt failed he knew to recalibrate the scanning machine and then nailed the color perfectly on the second try. This kind of professionalism is hard to come by. Others gave up after a failed attempt. Very impressed!
Great! Ordered online, received email that my order was in, picked it up! Very easy!
Heavy bags of gravel and sand are stacked in the upper shelf that requires a latter to bring them down safely. No help in sight. Therefore I left and went to Lowes.
Lost my order had to reorder. Offered a partial refund havent received. Employees were rude and told me the tracker was wrong and that my order hadnt arrived then 2 days later they tell me they lost it.
Ive been there several times this past week you can always find someone to help you very helpful may not always have what you went there for but all in all most of the people there know the store good experience
My preference in big box stores and the Kingston staff are fairly helpful and competent.
Surprised it was better than the Kingston Lowes. Just about in every way.
They replaced my Ryobi battery,no problem
Got the impression that people were hired for any reason but work. Laziest group of employees Ive ever seen.
I went to buy paint. I found the paint department to be very helpful and lots of great knowledge and insight. Nothing like to talking to experienced people as opposed to reading hundreds of reviews about what to buy. Friendly environment.
Terrible service. I once waited 3 hrs for 500 sq ft of pergo.
It. Was. Good
They typically always have what I need but ours often difficulty as a female to get served when needing wood, plumbing, electrical, etc supplies.
The store itself had everything I needed but when I went up to the register the price was wrong I buy a lot of caulking and coil because I work for you guys the coil supposed to be 104 I was charged 122
Place is terrible. Wood is insane and bad grade
Horrible store! They do not care about the customer. Literally was told by a manager of the store its not her problem to get the truck unloaded that has my order on it now thats 6 days late now. Don’t bother dealing with this company they will lie and promise you the world. Shop else where go to lowe, hg page or williams lumber spend the extra $1 and do not give this trash store business.
Better selection of light bulbs then lowes
They never have the one or two thing i need when i need them . Very bad at restocking. If not on shelf they don t have it.....bad..only 2 stars...🤯
We all need repairs now and then; and if youre a do it yourself kind of person ( and these days ; a lot of us are; this is a great place for all that and more!
I like the store because they have Milwaukee. Came to memorize where everything is and for the most part satisfied. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because I hate ordering stuff online. Id rather go get the item i want myself. But Home Depot in Kingston only holds certain tools there and some just online. Not a big complaint just a lil annoying to me.
This place is sooo bad.. Their customer service is designed to frustrate, and waste your time. NEVER AGAIN!!
Lots of parking. Friendly people and helpful. Helped me find what i was looking for and offered to help me put in in my car. Plesant experience all around.
Employees were very helpful but the shelves were poorly stocked
Dennis from plumbing went above and beyond to help us. From getting things on the sky shelves via forklifts to mapping out plumbing and heating system. This man was an absolute god send. He was the only one out of several employees who helped us. Most walked right by and ignored us. Thank you so much for your excellent service Dennis.
Local store. Staff generally helpful. Has gotten higher in price recently.
I just love to get WD-40 there
I purchased a guaranteed installation in five days however the carpet in arrive until seven days and installed until 11 days after. The manager kept on send me to an associate for compensation. Then I spoke to the store manager he said the assistant manager would call me back never did. Finally after weeks of going back and forth I call Corp. The district services manager offered me a 50 dollar GC. I was charged two trip fees from my contractor for 150 each. I can do business with a store that cost me money when they mess up. My last project was 20,000 in supplies from HD. Lowe’s I guess I’m coming to open my business account with you.
John in flooring was very helpful and offered me some additional tips to remodeling my bathroom.
Excellent big box store. Very well managed with helpful staff. Organized and orderly store. One of the best HD locations Ive shopped at. Excellent plumbing, electrical, and lumber departments. Stock is complete and easy to find. Associates are always willing to assist.
Nice employees
Great store, great customer service two thumbs up...
Usually what I need is out of stock and Im told they can order it for me well I can order it for me thats what the internet for
DO NOT BOTHER USING CURBSIDE PICKUP AT THIS STORE. They like to advertise it as something they want you to do with dedicated spaces and multiple mentions on their website but I have done it 3 times and havent had a single pleasant experience. The people on the phone are rude and are clearly unhappy that you are doing it, it is VERY slow, and if they cant immediately find your order they will just move on to help someone else until you call back. You are MUCH better off going inside or going somewhere else.
Sorta lacking in stock on the shelves and lawn & garden areas. But staff tries to help.
Very clean well stocked had what i needed. Associates where knowledgeable and very friendly. Seams like a good work atmosphere.
Prices are out of this world.
The store was great a lot of staff to help you find things. In and out in 20 minutes.
Excellent Home Depot, though for the pro carpenter, their in store inventory of power tools is somewhat limited. Service is ok, not stellar.
Great selection, great service, a little understaffed sometimes, but basically everything youd need for most projects!
Great place has everything that lowes doesnt! Love the quick in and out many registers.
Home depot and Lowes are pretty much the primary businesses to get not just your DIY materials, local contractor and larger DIY materials but gardening items, including plants, vegs, bushes and some trees. In many ways, they offer alot of items that might save you a trip to other stores, like a range of cleaning products, some paper products, seasonal items right down to light bulbs. Between Home Depot and Lowes, generally, the non sale prices are pretty close. Each store seems to have some items that the other doesnt or have some items at a much better regular price. They seem to rotate who has sale prices on things like certain garden soil in bags. One week the one has it on sale. Usually, the other will have it on sale week or so later. With concrete, to the best of my memory, while both stores have certain types of concrete on sale sometimes. Lowes seems to have the bagged concrete on sale more often then Home Depot, but the concrete only goes on sale very rarely. Both have the basically same sale prices on garden soils.I would say, only based on my perception, that Home Depot is stocked with more items that home owners might look for in home decorating or home storage items like shelving units small furniture type items and what I use alot is that there is a scrap wood pile back in lumber, where you can find and buy the leftover pieces of wood after they are done cutting wood for an order. At 70% off. For me, big money saver like when I needed wood to frame out my driveway for concrete I was pouring and zi didnt need top end cuts of wood and it would be wood that might be damaged by the time I would be done. Wood that didnt need to be pretty, just strong enough. Lowes doesnt have this currently. And while stores may have different numbers of employees working at different times and since Covid 19. generally less workers overall. Both stores SEEM(important word- seems to) to have less employees to assist the customers or possibly less employees who are willing to spontaneously stop and help you, like if you cant get something off the shelf or if you can even find someone to help. Im turning 65 very soon, this summer/fall and last yr also, Im loading 80 lb bags of concrete mix on the sm flatbed, usually I get 4 to 7 bags. Even when the cashier calls for help for me,, usually no one shows or if/ when they show it takes a while. But also if somecone walks by, if they werent the one called, they rarely stay and help. But is this the norm among workers anywhere, the after effect or by product of stores not have enough staff employed and workers being spread thinOverall, both stores are good, just good for different things at different times. I go to both, depending on prices, inventory in stocks or store specific items. Both have had very nice and helpful employees, and employees who seem to have the same attitude everytime Ive seen them in the store (Im sorry, did I interrupt you from standing around and doing nothing,). I will say that I seem to react more positively to the visual set up ( displays) of the aisles, primarily the area between paints to garden dept. Lowes has a better selection of veg plants during the season
Absolutely the worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to. Zero follow through. Waiting already 11 days for a grill to be delivered. Promised it will be delivered, waiting home ALL day for two days now, being rescheduled for next week. Absolutely disgusting service. Go anywhere else.
I found clorox wipes, thats the.first time covid started. Thanks I bought some Christmas presents.
It was ok...not bad & not great. I went in their with something in mind to buy. If you saw me you would know I was looking for something, not just browsing. I passed a few employees standing around & not 1 asked if they could help me find what I was looking for. The cashier was friendly, so that was a plus.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Wry good
Just as good as any other home depot
Short lines and they had what I wanted in stock. In and out fast.
Theres a wait on Freezers. Theyre on back order. Cant get ours until Aug. Everyone wore mask & practiced social distancing. The customer service was excellent🤗
I had a such terrible customer service here. I was trying to return something, I didn’t have the receipt. There was a white lady, I think she was, with long kind of grey hair, came to me with attitude ask me do I have receipts or not, I told her I don’t. She wouldn’t even scan my thing and told me I can’t return anything without receipt. This is the worst customer service ever in Home Depot. We paid lots of money buying stuff here, it should be on the computer why she wouldn’t even try to scan the product to see if it’s on file???
If I could find what I needed elsewhere Id be there! Understaffed at the pickup desk. Numerous deliveries with broken items. An apparent manager who thought that wearing a mask as a beard (not covering his nose or mouth) was acceptable. Arrgh!
The representative that helped us with purchasing our washing machinewas so helpful. I would recommend them for major appliances. we were asked several times by other employees if we needed help while walking to the appliance department. What a pleasant surprise.
Frankie and Tony in pro depart are awesome.Tj in the lumber dept is hard worker and knows his lumber he always helps when ordering ship lap or lumber for my decking.amal is fantastic and always ready to help even if its not his department.
Worst customer service. They will take your order for material that they know they dont have and lie to you about it. They tell you a delivery date but print something else on the order.
Everytime you call this store they put you on hold for a long time. When you ask to get transferred they say ok and hangup the phone on you. Plus it seems like no one ever has time to help you when you are in store. No follow up on special order or online items. Worst place.
Not even the 10th of December and they have no more Xmas decorations
Seems well stocked...
Asked where I would find what I needed. First person wasnt sure. (New) Sent me to a second person who knew right where I needed to go. Thanks Home Depot.
End of Christmas season sale was disappointing. Nothing left on the shelf.
Home Depot is always a nightmare nothing against the employees its always tough to get help theyre always short theres never enough people there never enough registers open theres just not enough staff I dont know you know I I I Im kind of forced to go there because you dont have options its either there or Lowes and theyre just as bad again nothing against the employees theyre just always sure to help short at the register and you got to wait for everything and the one in Kingston half the time they dont even have stuff its got to be ordered
Great customer service
Clean, organized, and lots of assistance. I was surprised and impressed and happy.
Its a good store they carry alot of building supplies better then Lowes on that dept
Excellent home store
Kamal, Bob Kennedy and wiil Always helpful and. owledgeable.
Love the home depot
Always helpful workers
Tried curbside pickup, it was odd when I clicked on the link texted to me and it connected to the Binghamton NY location. I was at the Kingston NY location. All turned out well when an employee came out to my car, got my paperwork and then brought my order out.
As usual welcome to the word of self service. It amazes me how few employees there are in this store and not a single full service check out line. I tend use self checkout but when dealing with bulky items I do not want to struggle at self checkout.
Not always a good experience here trying to find help as a female... Some of the men treat me like i have no idea what I need - or they just plain ignore me. Frustrating.
