Delightful staff. Everything is staged well to show potential of used items. Great atmosphere.
My new thrift store for furniture and furnishings. They have good quality used furniture at great prices. Houseware, glassware, light fixtures, paint ect. At most furniture needs a wet vac or wooden furniture a sand and repaint to look new.
I went recently and notice that the prices on the bric-a-brac was much more “ambitious” than when I was lat there, pre-covid. There was a relatively sparse selection of not-particularly-interesting overpriced items nicely displayed. I work in a thrift shop downstate, and items we generally sell for 25¢ were marked at $2, $3, even $4. Our $5 were selling for $15. A lamp, identical to the one I’d purchased at the Kingston Salvation Army just the day before was marked $15, and another, I’d actually seen brand new at a discount store for $13 earlier in the day was also marked $15. The prices on the furniture were better aligned with reality, and I appreciate the reductions by color, though most items were the us reduced color. I do appreciate the work Habitat does and this review is based only on this store as a business.
Theres plenty to look through. Prices are high tho compared to other places.
Still a great place, tho prices have risen dramatically.
I LOVE this place. They always have interesting art, tableware, etc, and the prices are unbeatable (I found a four piece silver tea service for $12). If you need anything for your home, go here first. The turnover is great too, so each time you go youll find something new.
Great experience. Sales staff was kind and helpful. When I came to pick up the 2 beds I purchased, they loaded everything into my car and disassembled some of the bed so it would all fit. It was service with a smile, even though I came very close to closing time.
This place is awesome!! If you like vintage furniture or looking for old records used cabinets tile dishes go here. Profits go to building homes. Staff is great
The ReStore has ever-changing stock, great volunteers staffing the sales floor, and serving a great cause--Habitat for Humanity. Have nice stuff that you no longer need? Recycle it here and get a deduction on you income taxes, too! Best selection of gently used furniture, household items and office stuff, electronics, building materials etc in Kingston.
This store has gotten so picky as the what they will take for donation. They also have increased prices dramatically. I believe they think they are a department store instead of a place that takes donations. I wont go there anymore. I used to like this store.
Great reuse of items, got what we needed: Side railings for a queen size bed and a 2 foot door. Place was very clean and organized!
Good store tons of stuff to choose from and good prices!
Very helpful staff. We got a full kitchen of cabinets for $120 including the hardware. Great condition, too.
After I moved into my new house, I started shopping at this store. Ive gone back many times, and Ive certainly furnished at least half my house with items I bought here. Its a great place to shop. They get new things all the time, so if I didnt find what I wanted the first time, Id wait a week or so and go again. The people working there are always very nice and helpful. And needless to say, theres no pressure from the workers. Its a lot of fun to shop here.
My husband visits this place everyday that its opened I think he should volunteer there they have nice clean gently used items that I purchased from their often
Great stuff cheap. Funds raised build HOMES! Lovely!
A lot of interesting items at affordable prices, if youre looking for used vintage furniture or some oddball piece of electronics this is one of the top 5 places to go.
Great place, great cause, great staff, great stuff.
Great for your DIY odds and ends. But its really all timing as the inventory has high turnover. Prices are extremely reasonable.
A great place to find wonderful treasures and furniture, all the while being helped by fabulous volunteers.
This is an awesome place to treasure hunt for great used items. Tables, furniture, books, dvd, cds, electronics, pet items. And all the proceeds go to helping homeless people .
Wonderful addition to the area for repurposing things, and finding hidden treasures.
Great place with great prices that not only recycle but give back to comunity
Great place doing great things.....
Great variety of items for sale. Good place to donate things you no longer need.
They have good stuff, clearly priced and well organized.
Great place to browse, grab some deals for furniture, tables, toilets, tile, ect.
Large varieties of items. Good prices. Well worth a visit.
Good prices and I like spending money for a good cause. I pop by frequently for all the stuff I dont need, but have to have.
