John and Tom from Precision Doors came and installed 2 new doors yesterday, they did and excellent job, they fitted and adjusted the doors and reconnected the electric openers, made sure everything was working properly and left my place clean. I could tell from the start they have done this a long time because they were organized and they had a method they each knew exactly what to do.

Thanks to Jon and Adam for getting my doors in with no hassle.Back at the end of January, came home to find one of our fifteen year old garage doors sagging when I closed it. My expedient repair that had extended its life for a while had finally failed. It was late night, but Precision Door answered my call and scheduled an appointment with me for the next day. The tech came out (Raymond I believe, apologies if Im not remembering right) and was very upfront about the cost of a repair vs new doors. I decided it was time for new doors, and they were again very forthcoming about supply chain delays. Its been rough, but the doors finally came in at the end of last week and they got us on the installation schedule quickly. Techs Jon and Adam had the old doors out and new ones installed in just a couple of hours.Great service, good modern communication and payment options, fair price. Hopefully I wont need their services again for a long time, but would do it again with no hesitation.

Spring broke on garage door. Contacted Precision at 5:30 pm. Mike arrived at 9:00am the next morning. Completed a much needed overhaul of our garage door. Service was great and the tech knowledgeable and efficient.

A spring broke on our two car garage door, trapping our primary family vehicle. This happened on a Friday and other places were booked out for a week. We called Precision and they signed me up for a service slot for a few hours later and fortunately the repair person had an opening so they actually arrived a little over an hour later. Incredibly timely and professional service that saved our weekend! The repairman showed me a few other components that needed to be replaced and considering they were over 20 years old that wasn’t a surprise and was worth the cost, which was fair. The door is whisper quiet now and super smooth. Very happy with our experience and outcome.

This was our first time using this company due to our normal repair company being so backed up. My car was stuck in the garage so waiting 5 days wasnt an option. These guys were same day service (Im talking a couple hours after I placed a call). The operator that I placed the appointment with was nice and friendly. Adam and Nathan came out and fixed our garage door and they were FANTASTIC. While I admit that I was not pleased with my husband hitting the door with our truck and it no longer working. Due to Covid, economy, you name it, the parts that had to be special ordered took a long time (not the Companys fault though). I was ecstatic to have them show up early and fix our door. I woke up Sunday morning with two broken garage door springs and the car was locked inside with the door too heavy to lift manually. Early in the morning I called Precision Door Service and they told me that someone could get there today between 9-11 AM. I got a call from Michael saying he was a 1/2 hour away and would be here shortly, this was around 8:15 AM. When Michael showed up he was very professional and got right to work. Looked over all the equipment and told me exactly what needed to be replaced and why, then he went to work. He was here maybe an 1 hour and did everything he said he was going to do. This company replaced the motor that opens one of my 2 garage doors. The rollers were also replaced The door now opens perfectly and with much less noise. When the 2d motor fails I will call upon Precision Door to repair or replace. They do good work.

I love my new garage door. Adam and Nathan did an excellent job with the installation and clean up. They helped me program my codes in and explained the benefits of having wifi capabilities.

They are overpriced. However, I needed a repair on a weekend and options are limited. So maybe you pay extra for the availability. They were on time and professional. If you are having a door repaired and have the time, I would get more than one estimate. Cost aside, they repaired the door and it works as it should.

We had a garage door spring separate and break this morning causing the top two garage panels to fall onto my wife’s vehicle. It was due to the age and incorrect sizing of the spring system. I called Precision Doors of Knoxville at about 8:00am, and by 10:45am, the issue had been corrected with the installation of a new spring and replacement of the antiquated plastic hinges with new metal hinges. The door has been leveled and operates very smoothly now.Thank you so much to Josh and Chris for their very quick response (we live 40 minutes from their office) and professional repairs. I highly recommend Precision Overhead Gagrage Door Service. My spring broke on a Saturday morning. I tried to call two of the bigger names in the garage door business. Neither was available to even take a call on a Saturday. Precision answered my call right away and scheduled an appointment for 2 hours later. I was fully expecting to wait several days for the repair. Michael was my service tech. He called and re-scheduled his arrival 15 minutes earlier than the 2 hour window that was scheduled on the call. His truck was equiped with everything he needed to fix my door. He gave me the option to replace only the broken spring but he recommended replacing some of the other 44-year old hardware. I asked about replacing the whole door and he recommended keeping the existing door to save money. No upsell pressure - some refreshing honesty. Michael was a profesional. He fabricated some custom brackets for my old door and showed me the worn hardware that he removed. My door works great 4 hours after it broke on a Saturday. Thanks Precision and Michael.
