Great experience buying a Speed Queen washing machine - called on Wednesday morning knowing there are supply chain issues affecting the availability of appliances.Famous Tate had a couple of Speed Queen washing machines in their warehouse and immediately reserved one for me. They delivered and installed it at my house on Saturday.Very happy to be able to have the new appliance in my house so quickly.

Great prices and selection. We wanted a specific oven with specific features....looked online and all over Lakeland. We visited Famous Tate and sure enough they had the exact oven we had been looking for and the price was great.

Excellent shopping experience. I purchased a GE over the counter Microwave oven on Friday afternoon. By Saturday at noon it was installed and working great. And, the old one was taken away at no extra cost.I really appreciated all the assistance given to me by Omar Escobar the sales associate who helped me. If you need an appliance quick try Famous Tate. In spite of delays in getting our microwave, Omar has been very easy to work wiht and communciates well. He is up front in providing me the latest information and has been very helpful in geting the balance of the appliances delivered and set up properly.

Worst place to buy appliances.Dont believe the mattress warranty. After we paid for a mattress upgrade because the original one had bad coils they would not take the mattress back. This was after the new one was here being delivered.the drivers made the decision, that my old mattress was damaged by 2 small stains the size of a dime

So thankful I called Famous Tate for my washing machine needs. My old washer was only 3/4 years old and we had issues all the time- “fixed” it a few times but it just want good quality washer (General Electric). Now that we have the Speed Queen washer, life’s been a lot easier when it comes to laundry and it has a 5 year warranty. Speed Queens are supposed to last 25 years! They had someone deliver it within 2 days and hooked everything up for us as well!

My wife and I came in at the beginning of February after being out of an oven since November. Ours broke so we saved money for a new one. We put a deposit down on a built-in within our price range, two weeks later after not hearing anything back, my wife called to find out we were going to have to go with a more expensive model. I guess Frigidaire isnt shipping anything until August. Here it is nearly the end of February, we never got a delivery date. Promised phone calls only happened if we called in. Our deposit sits in limbo because systems are down to issue a refund. To top it off, still no oven! We will go to Home Depot and get what we need, which is what we shouldve done in the first place. We will pay a little more, but I guess thats the price you pay for convenience.

I made the mistake of ordering a refrigerator from Lowe’s and after several weeks of waiting for it I canceled and got one the next day from famous Tate. sale was quick and easy and delivery had just one minor oops. They dented the front door with a coat rack but it was my fault for not moving it off the wall before they brought it in. Was a little tiny dent so I just stuck a magnet on it and Wala it’s gone

Our microwave went out today. Went to Famous Tate and had a very good experience. Was able to purchase what we wanted and with a discount. Very nice atmosphere.

All in stock delivered the following day and not damaged couldnt be any better than that. Very knowledgeable staff as well.

It was my first time buying from Famous Tate. I was recommended by my service guy to go there if I wanted a washing machine that would last me more than a few years. They were very professional and friendly. I told them my dilemma and I was in great need of a washing machine because I ran a cleaning business and use my washer almost everyday. They took me to the washing machine my service guy had suggested. And since I was in great need of it right away, they allowed me to take the one on the showroom floor and had it to my home in less than an hour. And also gave me a discounted price as well. Good old fashion customer service that you rarely get anymore was there and that made me so happy to experience that. I had told one of my best clients about my experience and she told me that she has shopped there for years and is the only place she goes to buy her appliances and she will continue as long as they are in business. That made me feel even better about making my purchase there and I will also continue to check them out first before I buy anywhere else again. Our 9 year old Samsung 4 Dutchdoor 28cf Refrigerators Freezer went out. It would take $800-$1200 to repair so we decided to replace it with a New Samsung and called Famous Tates. Weve done business with them since 2005. We live in Lakeland Florida now and purchased a new 4 Dutchdoor 28cf Samsung Refrigerator from Famous Tates in Lakeland. We couldnt be more pleased. My wife had used the Brandon location before and said she had had good experiences, but the Lakeland location didnt live up to the expectation. We stopped in over the weekend looking for a laundry center to replace a washer and dryer. Everything seemed great! The sales person was super friendly and we had everything set up for a delivery today. I opted to re-use the power cord from our current dryer, so they told me they couldnt hook it up for me for liability reasons. No biggie. They were kind enough to upsell us new hoses and dryer vent hose, and promised these would be installed by the delivery folks.This morning, I got the call as promised, and the drivers showed up in the time window promised, but that is about all that went right.I had someone there to meet them, and as soon as they got there, she called me and I headed over from my office about 20 minutes away. They made a complete mess removing the old washer and dryer. My mother in law tried to help them clean up the mess, and they told her they didnt have time, and they just sat the new unit in our utility room. They did not hook up any of the hoses or dryer vent, and when she said something to them about it, they spoke to each other in another language and told her they didnt have time and had to go.She asked them to wait until I got there (I only missed them by 5 minutes) and they refused to wait or even allow her call me for clarification.So... I had to mop up all the water and mess they left, hook everything up to the new unit myself and move this huge stacked unit into place with a walking cam boot on my foot.Great job, guys. Truly well done.

Don’t buy anything here without checking the return policy.I paid $700 for a Clarity II adjustable bed it’s a hunk of junk, I don’t remember the floor model making this much noise on vibrate mode.It reminds me of the ones you put a quarter in the cheap motel rooms.They didn’t offer to check it out just told me a restock charge would be charged to me and cost me the same for a cheaper frame so keep what I have and just don’t use the vibrate mode.Seriously I paid extra money for something I just shouldn’t use.Never again will I purchase anything at this store or refer anyone.

Great experience! Salesperson showed me OTR microwaves that fit our needs. Completed purchase in and out of store in about 15 minutes. Next morning the installer arrived ahead of schedule and did a super job removing the old unit and installing the new one. Very neat and professional job. This is the second appliance weve purchased this year from Famous Tates, and we have been delighted with the pricing, but more importantly, the employees and those who represent them.

Great selection of appliances and mattresses on the display floor. Recently had a mattress delivered. it was not as soft or had the same cover.We went to the store. They (Omar & Gregg) were great. They were most eager to exchange the mattress no hassle at all. My wife and I decided to upgrade to the tommy bahama just to safe. Again no problem. Thank you to Omar & Gregg for making shopping at Famous Tate a pleasant experience.

Their price was better (lower) than Lowes and they had the dryer in stock. I ordered it on-line and was called the next day to confirm the order and schedule delivery. The delivery guys were quick and efficient.

Greg Leeper was an excellent service provider. Our washer stopped functioning at a critical time in our laundry life. Home Depot & Lowe’s had the same delivery time frame of 2 weeks! Called up Greg at Famous Tate and they were talking two days for delivery. That was a lot better, but leaving us with dirty duds for a few days. Greg really went above and beyond to serve our laundering needs. We were able to walk out same day with the display model including the warranty!!! Huge shout out to Greg for his outstanding service!!

We were in desperate need of a fridge and due to Covid there is a supply shortage. I called and the store manager was eager to help us find a fridge. By the mid afternoon we had a fridge ordered and paid for and ready to deliver the next day. Amazing customer service from the whole staff!

My husband and I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer set (high end front loaders) along with the extended warranty last year, Jason was our sales associate. Well on 11/10/19 which has been over a month ago both the washer and dryer stopped working. I called Jason at Famous Tate and he let me know that we are now into our extended warranty it was 1yr and 1 week since we purchased the set. Jason gave us the number of the warranty company (Synergy which appears to be owned by Famous Tate) to call.I called and they said that Cannons Appliance Repair will be out to make the repairs, They sent 2 techs out they replaced a switch on the dryer but had no clue how to repair the washer (they literally told my husband that they have never seen one of these in a home) one of the techs said they had a manual in the truck.So after 3hrs. of doing nothing to repair the washer they left. I called the warranty department and explained what just happened and they contacted Cannons which said they would come out and pick the washer up to take to the warehouse to fix. Needless to say we still are without a washer and no one can give us an answer. The Manager at Cannons told my husband that they will have to deliver our broken machine back to our home. They have a whole store of washers and could at least send me a loaner till they figure out how to repair it!!!!I have spent so much $$ at the laundry mat!! Legal action??

We were looking for a over the stove microwave convection oven with certain specs, the salesman went through all of their records to make sure that it didnt exceed any of the certain specs needed for the space we had. He also explained that we could have it installed. The installer was on time and did a great job. The microwave and convection oven work so much better than the last one that we had.

After the nightmare I had with Lowes I decided to go with Famous Tate Appliance. I worked Jason Lane one of the salesman there and I decided to do my whole kitchen. I received a text message saying that delivery would be between 10 and 12 at 10 I receive a message saying that they were 10 minutes away. Delivery guys were very nice and very quick Ill have to say by 10:30 they were completely done. Best service I ever had by far I am a customer for life thank yall!!!

Think twice before buying any item that has to be delivered. We just got a driver that spoke almost no English. He could not find the address for our new neighborhood. We gave him an established landmark with address across the street from our home. In very broken English he said “15 minutes”. Two hours later he had not shown up and would not pick up his phone. We were able to get in touch with the store and they in turn got the drivers dispatch. Driver was on his way back to the warehouse with our stuff! A very long wait on appliances that wasn’t necessary if Tate would hire English speaking drivers!

Friendly, but not helpful. We have had a problem with our ice maker in our Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator for about a week. Called in and was told the paid 3 year warranty expired 3 days ago and wouldnt be honored. Wouldnt send anyone to take a look or assist. Poor customer service, will look to buy appliances elsewhere in the future.

Needed a new fridge. It had to be a certain size. Linda Dulmage was very helpful and patient. Answered all questions and addressed my concerns about the size and capacity. Fridge was delivered as promised and is beautiful. We love it! Had an issue with unit after 2 months. Called warranty service. Repairman, Danny D., came the next day. Fixed fridge right away. I asked about replacement water filters. I was able to purchase them from him. Dont need them yet. But when I do...I am all set. Wonderful experience!

I recently moved into my home in Parrish. I needed a new washer and dryer and electric range. I was referred to Greg at Famous Tate by a close friend. I called Greg and we did everything over the phone! He gave me model numbers to look at and compare. He walked me through the differences of each and helped me decide which to purchase. I ordered everything in one phone call and all three pieces showed up 2 days later as promised. I will definitely use Greg and Famous Tate again! I’m really happy with my new appliances!!!!

Famous Tates only had chest freezers, but Jason googled the competition to help use. We also were looking at refrigerators for a future purchase and Jason helped with that as well. We left the store to talk about Jasons presentation. Because we were so impressed that he would take the time and get information from a competitor for us, that we didnt even stop at the competitor but instead set a follow up appointment with Jason and purchased a refrigerator with a bottom door freezer that was double the size of our current one. Appliance store. Good service, plenty of free parking, easy to locate. If you need something for your home, this is the place. Free quick delivery, usually within a couple of days.We purchased a Bosch Dishwasher on 02/09/18 and it was delivered and installed on 02/10/18. Cant ask for anything better! This will be the 7th appliance that we have purchased from this store. We have also purchased for our rental property with the same wonderful service.

We needed kitchen appliances quickly. Our salesperson, Linda, went out of her way to be sure we got what we wanted and within a few days. Other big box stores were telling us we would have to wait 3 weeks to a month to get all of our appliances. We will use Famous Tate again. The service is personalized and sales persons are knowledgeable.

Quality products and good service. Its nice to have a place that is not a big-box store that you can go to. If they dont have what you want, they can order specialty items at well! They also have installation and haul away services.

Walked in 20 minutes before closing and Omar was extremely helpful, informative and always pleasant. That night we bought a Frigidaire Professional Fridge then returned to buy a matching cooktop, Dishwasher, Above Counter Microwave, mattress set and soon, a wall oven. Their online prices never seem to reflect their actual in store pricing that is super competitive. We saved thousands over the Big Box Store and got a better quality product!

If you havent bought anything from Famous Tate, why not? Yes, we were going to get a really good deal from an online seller. But we went to Famous Tate to see just how much it would cost us to get quicker delivery. Turns out it cost about the same, and we had our washer and dryer installed the very next day. We knew what we wanted, and the in-store transaction took less than a half hour. Delivery was professional and included in the purchase. Dont let the price shown on the Famous Tate website scare you off; the in-store price we got was far below the website price, and we had the benefit of a knowledgeable salesperson to help us get all the accessories we needed.

We have built 2 homes in the past 6 years and the level of service and professionalism we get from Famous Tate is second to none. We werent able to get all of our selections from FT but Greg our salesman is very knowledgeable and always give us good detailed info on the pros & cons of the brands. Ordered on-line. Product delivered to store in a timely manner and was the correct product. Pricing was good. My only complaint is that there seems to be a total lack of communication between the company and the customer. After order, received email (automated reply) thanking me for my order and stating I would be contacted by the next work day to confirm the details of my purchase and delivery (to the store) date. 5 days later I stopped at the store and after a confusing conversation was told that the sales manager handled that and he was not in and was given a card for the store manager, also not in. They did check the computer and found the delivery date. I never received a call from the store but fortunately when I went to the store on the day they said it would be delivered, it was there. Pleased with the product, pleased with the price, sad about the lack of communication. I was told that on-line sales is new to them - hopefully they will get the kinks ironed out soon.
