I honestly love just walking around in this store, but I tend to always leave with something. There’s either a sale of some kind or a team member talks me into buying something. Not a bad thing by any means! I’m always treated kindly here. I definitely recommend going especially during the fall months. Their Halloween decor is to die for. ;)

I purchase my stickers for my planners here. I also got my planners here as well. Planners stickers can cost a pretty penny depending on who sells them and I only use a certain brand (representational brand) and I feel the pricing is good. 4.99 up to 9.99, small and big booklet of stickers. When I go into the store, I typically get 3 or 4 packs of them each time.

Honestly I was a bit nervous about going to the store because of all the negative reviews but I have to say, this is one of the most pleasant customer experiences I’ve had in a long while. I walked in and was warmly greeted and asked if I need help with anything. I asked where the product I was looking for was and was able to find it quickly. Each worker I encountered was very friendly and willing to help. Going in completely changed the imagine of the store that the reviews painted for me. I will definitely be returning to this location even after the Frandor location opens (the drive is worth it).

Decent selection of productnot one employee greeted usactually i couldnt find an employee other than the cashier…there was a customer before me she had an online order; an alert was sent to her phone letting her know the item was currently at the store, the cashier told her well that is for tomorrowyou may want to re vamp that systema customers time is just as important as yours!

Recently I brought in a framed matted print that needed to be spruced up. Evelyn, at the Marketplace store, was wonderful!!! She did a great job. She was very personable and so sweet. 👏👏👏

I needed something for this components spot in my TV stand. I went to two other Lansing Craft Stores first... but I had a coupon for Michaels and WALLA! They dont always have everything bit I do feel like the staff here tries to keep it stocked and clean. Always friendly!

You can pretty much always get 20 percent off if you look for a coupon code online. They had what I was looking for in stock and I am now happily working on felting a cat figurine out of my cats fur.

I found a small Wilton aisle there. I found a nice angled spatula for my mum.

I was not the easiest customer, as I had an online order to pick up and wanted to add on to it because of the quantity discount and all that fun! Evelyn was so patient and kind and made it work out so I got to save my money and leave with a smile. Thank you Evelyn and Rebecca for your great customer service!

I placed an order online and arrived at the store for curbside pickup. I call to have my order brought out. The employee who answered the phone rudely told me that I had an instore order not an online order. On Michaels own website it says that any store pickup can be brought out curbside. Either the store isnt providing the services it offers or the employee just didnt want to do it. This rude treatment was not welcome and Im hesitant to use this store again.

Theres a lot more selection and better organized at East Lansing Frandor store.

Didnt have what I was looking for (wall shelves.) Non existent employees for assistance. Woman at cash register was pleasant.

Although I love the products they carry, and the prices and savings! the last few times Ive went out to the store Ive been quite disappointed. The first time I ordered online it took I think 2 days to get the order for pickup. The second they didnt give me all the product I had ordered. I will no longer be ordering online as that system seems to fail every time. So now Ill have to hopefully make it to the store before they close. I have bad work hours thats why I thought the online purchases would be better.

This is my favorite place to shop for art supplies and crafts. They pretty much have anything you could ever want in the craft world. The only problem I ever have here is getting out the door with only the things on my list. 😬😬

Curbside pickup experience is great. In store shopping is what you expect from Michaels; kind and knowledgeable staff, clean, organized store, lots of great sales.

Only needed some leather needles but Im unable to wear a mask due to asthma. They were awesome at understanding and offered me curbside pickup just for a 4 dollar pack of needles. The workers there are awesome.

Not bad, well organized and a very homey feel but I didnt see a single employee the entire visit. Couldve just taken something and ran.

Beware! Some of the LEGO here is priced above MSRP. Signs for weekly deals are also placed in front of items that are not on sale. Pay attention at the register.

I paint and scrapbook so this is my go-to store. They have great customer service, great selection of products, and great deals! My friends and family know if they are getting me a gift card, this is the place to get it. I absolutely love this store!

Placed a pickup order online. When we arrived, we followed the instructions online. The lady came to the passenger side of the car (I had the window open) and started shoving it in through the window and said, Here!. The bag was too large to go through. Never even acknowledged that I had asked for it to be put in the trunk. Will never come here again if I can help it.

Sales person was very knowledgeable about what I was looking for and helped me find when I couldnt!

Michaels is always awesome. This particular location was clean, organized and the staff and other customers were all very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms could be updated but if youre like myself you probably have forgotten the old bathrooms by time you make it to the register with all your awesome unnecessary stuff haha!

Found the yarn here in Lansing that I couldnt find in Saginaw😡 But had to drive 20 mins to the other Lansing location Cuz Frandor was closed!

The framing department seems to be lacking, in both knowledge and customer care. I had 3 employees notice me, and not one of them asked if i was finding everything alright. I understand that when you see a customer and you say something to them, they will probably ask a question and then you will have to engage them in conversation,... and that might not be what you want to do at that moment. But, GUESS WHAT?! That is exactly what you get paid to do! To ask people if they need help, and if they are finding what they are looking for! As a retail sales person, it is your duty to ask customers what they need, what they need help with, and what they are looking around your store for. Then, it is your job to point them in the correct direction, help them find what they need for their project, and maybe even help them figure out what they need for the project in the first place. Its called customers service, or customer relations, or you can call it just being helpful. Helpful employees make customers want to spend their money at your store. Helpful employees make customers want to come back to your store when they need something for their next project. Helpful employees get your store a higher google rating. The only reason i gave you 3 stars today, was because the cashier was actually helpful,... well, mostly. She asked if i found everything ok, and after being in the store looking at frames, (and trying to get the framing person to help me), for well over an hour, i told her i did eventually find something that will work, though it wasnt what i was looking for. She asked me if i was part of your rewards program, i told her i did not think so, but then she never actually asked if i wanted to join or suggest that i sign up.... just finished my transaction and handed my purchase to me. I thought that was a bit odd too, but hey, par for the course today.

Waited in checkout line a long time, only one register open out of 3, other employees just walking back and forth ignoring waiting customers. Kind of rude IMO.

Second time with a dissapointed visit. However in not sure if sale signs are just a thing for certain stores, but if you have signs saying strung beads for 70% off with several price tags reassuring your confidence in said signs they should all ring up with the 70% off.
