About 8-10 years ago, I had a Chamberlain garage door opener break and my original wooden garage door that was on its last leg, so I decided to install a new metal door along with a Genie chain drive opener and I called B&B Door in Lansing, IL. They did a great job installing the Genie opener and my gave me a lot of doors to pick from and I picked one and they installed it for me.Fast forward to early February, 2021 when we had so much snow and ice that my door froze to the concrete. The next day after the door was able to open again, it opened, but the spring broke and I thought I would wait a week before it would be fixed.I hadnt called B&B Doors in all that time, but since they installed the door all those years ago, I just hoped that they were still in business. Thankfully they were because I called them at about 7:30 AM. I was surprised that on the second ring, the person whom I took as the owner answered. I told him what happened and he told me he had a call before me in the town where I live in Indiana, but that someone would be out to fix my door. At 10:30 AM a B&B truck pulled into my driveway and I spoke to one of the two repairmen and he said that it definitely was the spring that had broke. He told me they would have it fixed shortly and in 30 minutes they fixed the spring, lubed the door and were on their way to the next call. I couldnt have been happier with their work ethic. I could tell they were professionals, because they explained what they did and how they lubed the door and what I needed to do to keep the door working for another 10 years.I highly recommend B&B Doors for all types of garage door and door opener installations!
Great experience; very friendly.
