I contacted Precision Garage Door today (11/7/2021) for an issue that we were having with our door. I was able to get a technician to come out same day. I received a phone call from the tech (Dan Duvall) 25 minutes prior to his arrival during the scheduled time frame. Dan did a great job and really went above and beyond for me today. I couldn’t have had a better experience and highly recommend this company and Dan. I would recommend this company to anyone and they have a customer for life! Thanks to Precision and Dan! You guys rock!

I was assured that I would get a call back from a repairman within 20 minutes to schedule an appointment. Its now a day later and I still have not received a call. I called another service that answered the phone, set up an appointment (for today!!) and its done.

The spring on one of our garage doors snapped. I called Precision on a Saturday morning around 8:30. The customer service rep (I think her name was Kelsey) was extremely friendly. She told us someone could be at our house that same day between 12 and 4. The text message we received to confirm said between 12 and 2. At 11:52 we got a text letting us know Daniel was on his way. He arrived a few minutes after 12 (!!!) and was done working by 12:30. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This is the second time we’ve used Precision (they replaced our motors and rollers almost exactly a year ago—Daniel said the rollers still looked brand new), and I will continue to highly recommend them to anyone looking for help with their garage doors. If we ever need more work done on our garage doors, they’ll be our first (and probably only) phone call.

We called to get an estimate to fix our garage door. We paid for a service call and were given a quote of $900 plus were recommended that we replace the entire door for significantly more. The price seemed way too high. We have had a coil/spring replaced before for ~$250. In our case, the door simply needed a new side cable. A competitor came and gave a free estimate then came back and fixed the door (replacing both cables) for $160. We really couldnt get a straight answer for why we were quoted $900. Obviously, the technician that came out didnt know what he was doing or the price was way out of whack. Glad we went elsewhere.

Same day service & excellent work.A little expensive but it has been 10 or more years since my last repair on this garage door springs.

The spring on my garage door broke at 10:30am and my car was stuck inside. Dan had it completely fixed by 1pm the same day. When I called, the office said a service technician would be over between 4-8pm. Luckily, Dan called and was able to get to my home sooner. He was respectful, friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. They are inexperienced with high end garage doors. It took over a year for them to fix the original problems. I had to take them to small claims and it has been nothing short of my worst nightmare with this company. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because this would not post unless I put at least 1 star.....Would Not Recommend !!!

I called early Saturday morning and Precision had a tech out within the hour. Steve was courteous and professional, he observed Covid guidelines and wore his mask without my having to ask (thank you-- some service people make you feel like a jerk for asking them to wear one). He explained the problem and gave me options for budget friendly considerations (there are none-- garage door repair is $$$, but mercifully you dont need it often). Once I selected my choice Steve got to work and had the door back operational within an hour. Zero stress on the owners part. Thank you, Steve! Thank you, Precision.

Had these guys come out to get my garage door back in working condition. Technician told me I needed a whole new door and or it would cost $1000 dollars to fix this door. I found another company to help and with two new safety cables and a re-tension of the springs my garage door works great. PGD charges a $75 fee if no work is done, so it seemed to me Iike the technician didn’t want to work and just wanted collect his $75 fee so he tried to over sell me into something I didn’t need. I do not recommend this company.

When my garage door decided to stop working yesterday, I thought well, thats all for the garage door for a while. I was very surprised they were able to come out the same day, and they even asked if they could come early. I also got a little education on how to maintain my garage door joints, as I am a first-time homeowner. Im very happy with the entire experience.

This is a review of the Precision Door representative who gave me information on replacing my current garage door.The sales rep, Steve arrived on time and after inspecting my garage door, he presented visual samples about the type of doors that were available, such as: color, insulated or not, with or without a window, etc.When I told him about the more specific items I was interested in, he gave me three price ranges I could choose from based on what I could afford and when I decided on the price he gave me a time period when I could expect the new door to be installed, about four to six weeks.In all respects he was very professional in his presentation and I am looking forward to having my new door installed.

I had a wonderful experience with Precision Garage Door. To my first initial call to get something scheduled all the way to the gentlemen who helped fix my door. I was not put on hold and she was able to get me scheduled within a couple of days. Steve Wells the installer/service repairman called before he came out and showed up on time. I had an old antiquated spring system and although the parts were pricey ( I needed a lot of things to fix my issue so I understood it costs) the service was outstanding. The work was excellent. Steve had the whole thing done in the matter of a couple of hours and in 80+ weather. He cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend this company for garage door repair. Precision Door was fantastic. I submitted a request for a fix for my garage, and heard back within the hour; an appointment scheduled for the following day. Steve, the person who did the work on directly on time, explained everything that he was going to do, made recommendations, and was honest in what needed to be done. The entire work needed was completed in less than one hour. I would absolutely recommend.

The gentlemans name that came out was Steve. He was very courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. He gave me the good, the bad, and the ugly on the cost of the repairs. He didnt try to sell me a bunch of useless stuff. He was very matter of fact and this is what I would do. He showed me the stuff that was completely worn out so that I knew exactly what he was going to repair and why it needed it to be replaced. (bad rollers on each side of the track, broken overhead spring, frayed cables, Etc...)The only knock was the cost of repairs, but thats not his fault its just the companys prices...WOW!!! The guys called before hand so that I would be prepared and they did a great job replacing our old wooden door with a new aluminum door. They cleaned everything afterward so as I wouldnt have known they were even there. They also went thru all the maintenance required with me. Very patient as I tried to open and close the doors. Door spring snapped at 9pm. Called Precision at 9:30pm, got a super friendly rep. She set an appointment for the next morning from 8am-noon, and the tech showed up at the front end of that window after the promised call.Tech was super personable, took a good look at the door, made his recommendations, which were reasonable given the age of the door, and started the work right away. Had the work done (essentially a replacement of all of the hardware EXCEPT the door slabs, hinges, and the opener) in well under 2 hours, including testing, lubing, and he left the can of lube for later use. Also showed me how to do quarterly maintenance while he was at it.Couldnt tell you if the price was fair or not (no time to shop around), but it seemed reasonable based on the part breakdown he gave me and what he was doing. Frankly, even if it wasnt the cheapest out there, you really cant put a value on good service - IMO its worth a bit more to get great service and a company that stands behind its work!Will definitely recommend to a friend.

There was a bang as we opened the garage door. When Steve came it didn’t make a sound. So he relocated the arm and checked if it was hitting the header sprayed it down and it works well.

Amazing. Called and got an appointment quickly. 10 minutes prior to arrival, received a call to notify of arrival. Took 20 minutes to replace the spring and cables - even replaced bolts that were the wrong style for the location. Highly recommended.
