With a giant indoor facility, with a beautiful front fascia, and friendly staff, Carly comes to mind, very sweet and knowledgeable, you get the climate control you need, because in Michigan, you might want to go in there in the middle of winter and really go through a few things. My family and I rented 2 storage units from Extra Space Storage after moving to Lansing in 2020. We have been nothing but impressed with all of the employees we have met (at least 4). They have all been very friendly, helpful, caring, and accommodating. Once we left a unit improperly locked and we were notified soon after. They also informed us early on that if we informed them during the last full month we planned to rent a unit, they would be able to prorate any extra days we needed. I talked to them about a small oil leak in one of our units and they are going to put stuff on it to make it easier for them to clean it. So glad I made the effort to ask them questions as it has made moving out go so smoothly—especially the prorating of a few extra days and the fact that they do the cleaning up after everything is out. Our experience with Extra Space Storage was great!

My experience with ExtraSpace Storage has been great so far. I only rented the unit a week ago, but the process and service I received was great. Really nice and clean facility. The office manager was very nice and helpful. I wanted a unit with temperature control, but was not difficult to access even though it’s indoors.

Nice, clean, employees helpful! HOWEVER, I have been storing there for 3 months and just got a notice in the mail that they are DOUBLING my rental fee. Apparently it is in the small print of the contract that they can do this ANY time. BEWARE.

Went there to check about a unit a reserved and the service I received was amazing. Took me to physically see the units I had options on then when I picked one she quickly got all my information took me and even checked the access code with me before I left. I recently rented a unit from Extra Space at the last minute for a few items. I was in a bind and called and was greeted by an extremely nice and helpful woman named Trina. I told her I was looking to rent the next day and move in and she helped me get everything in line. The next day I pulled in and a woman named Tasha was already waiting for me. She was also very helpful and very kind. She helped me out and showed me all around and explained all the policies, terms and conditions. She was very helpful and beyond friendly and very nice woman. Thank you for everything, i would highly recommend renting from here.

Tasha helped us figure out the best deal and made it possible with our time frame. I purchased a unit last month and the assistant manager was so nice and kind. Helped me with finding a cart and held the door open for me. So this month I had to get another unit for my son and she remembered me and my name. Which is great because most people are so busy they dont remember you. So in return I sent both of my sons to get units. This kind of personal experience is GREAT AND WILL KEEP ME COMING BACK. I enjoy friendly, kind, and helpful people we dont have many of those left.

I’m very happy how secured it is. And safe as well. Very clean and has easy cart to move heavy stuff.

My move in process was a breeze. I worked with two store managers and collectively they took great care of me from the initial phone call to the last document I signed. It was my intentions to lease from the MLK location however, I didnt want a second floor unit. So the manager went above and beyond to assist me in finding me a unit at the Holmes Rd location on the first floor. I am totally pleased!

The storage unit was very clean. The customer service rep Casey was very nice, prompt, information, knowledgeable. She made sure I understood everything and made sure I was satisfied with everything. And i got a free month!!! Cant beat that!!! I would definitely recommend this storage facility.

The place was great. The office was not crowded at all and aside from signing the paperwork the first time everything else is contactless. You have access to the stuff all the time and the place seemed very secure. The price was also great! The staff especially was very polite and made the process super seamless!

The manager, Tosha, is a sweetheart! This place is clean, the units are easy to access, and there are dock height doors that are accessible for unloading if needed. There are cameras everywhere and all access to building is logged for security. For what you get, the price is absolutely fantastic. I do not leave very many reviews on google, only when something exceeds my expectations. You wont be sorry if you rent here. Let her know Dave recommended her. I dont get anything for it but I want her to know good customer service yields business.

Tasha was very nice and helpful at the front desk. She helped us pick a great storage location. The storage building is well kept, clean, and climate-controlled so you don’t have to worry about the humidity taking a large toll on your belongings.

This particular day was a really bad day for me and so I came across Tasha I didn’t know her before that day but she went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of she even stayed after punching out just to show me around she gave me a very warm and comfortable feeling about the decision I made for using your company for a storage space I appreciate all her help and how helpful she could be she had all my answers for me no matter what they she even have great suggestions for things that I just feel comfortable asking the unit itself was a lot bigger than I expected the company looks well-maintained other than the driveway in the back I did and that I gave them five stars
