I was going through a stressful time having to put together a move and dealing with health issues. they first met with me and gave me a quote that I found above reasonable. After the move my finale bill was much less then the original quote which I found great. when there was a problem they were quick to responded to me before the move. I found them to be very professional both in person and on there phone calls.On the day of my move I had to do NOTHING. Well just point to tell the guys what to take. they were very hard workers and they work with an awareness of time. I appreciate that because you know there not trying to run the clock up on you. they work for there quote and they earn it. in fact my moving team was done Early! And then they sent me a thank you card after all there hard work.If I was going to say one down side to them is they are very high in demand. So it can be hard to book a moving date with them at times. Family owned Business, I would recommend them for all your moving needs . Residential or Business

Mark and Linda were great to work with and help with everything and answered all my questions. I even had a very last minute change on my moving date and they were able to rearrange there schedule to best accommodate my needs. We had a long 3 hour move and everything went smooth and as expected! I couldn’t be more grateful! The three moving guys were very professional and timely!

We made a reservation with M&M Moving to help us with moving our belongings to a new home. When I called to reserve a date and time, the woman I spoke with said that they have two start times--9:00am and 1:00pm. I chose 1:00pm because we had to sign our closing documents at 10:00am, so 9:00am wouldnt work. I made this appointment two months in advance.Six weeks later, we get a voicemail from M&M saying that they need to move the start time to 9:00am. They said that they wanted to make sure their workers got done at a decent time. Now, we had just moved 7 months ago and the job took 5 hours, so this job should take a similar amount of time. It took 5 days of phone calls and voicemails before I finally got a call back. I explained to Mark (the owner) that we could move the start time up to 11:00am, right after we finish signing, but he refused. He wanted us to let them load up their moving truck at 9:00am without us present. We were not comfortable with that. He then said multiple times, I dont see how we are inconveniencing you.In the end, he wouldnt be flexible and so we decided to cancel and find another moving company.Everything I have written is factual, and I have tried to take emotion out of it so that you could read just the facts: 1. They didnt hold to their appointment time. 2. It took nearly a week to get a phone call back. 3. They refused to compromise or be flexible. 4. They essentially blamed us for not agreeing to change the start time and let them move our belongings without us there.

I was never left wondering - right from their first onsite inspection to give us a quote to the actual moving day. They called when they were on their way. The invoice was slightly less than the quote! The crew was awesome - kind, respectful and friendly. I have never experiened such a pain-free move! (Well as pain-free as any move can be) I would use them again without hesitation. The one photo is their truck outside our window

M&M Moving and Storage recently moved some of my stuff--such as an antique piano, antique desk and sewing machine as well as boxes, tools, and heavy dressers. They were careful with everything--the best is they knew I was stressed and kept me calm and focused. Highly recommend them!

Really such a shame they were not able to be any help when it came to Denver mattress co messing up the delivery address. Really left us stranded in a bad spot. Neither myself nor my old disabled mom have any way to get this mattress to where it needed to go, which is why it was being delivered, they just sent it to the wrong address and then supposedly couldnt help. Even though the other house is only a few miles down the road, and where it was SUPPOSED to go. Would have to say I cant recommend.

We moved my parents yesterday and these guys went above and beyond to help them move into their new home. Packed everything with care like it was their own!! Helped them set up all their furniture where they wanted it and even gave recommendations when they didn’t know where they wanted it. Even through the bad weather they were positive and helpful. Would definitely use them again and suggest you do the same. The final cost even came in way under the estimate so also a plus!!!

We recently hired them to move from our apartment to our new home. Wrapped all our furniture and everything carefully. Moved our stuff down a spiral staircase as well. We could tell they had some experience moving. They were a few minutes late but were very apologetic upon arrival. Owner showed up as well to make sure everything was good and also apologized for being tardy. We would definitely use them again.

My family hired M & M movers to pack up my apartment and store it when Michigan State evacuated. They did a terrible job. The movers were supposed to call me to confirm they got everything when they thought they were done but they never did. I was contacted a couple of weeks after the move out by my apartment that there was still a lot of stuff left in my old apartment. When I contacted M & M movers, they were very passive-aggressive to me, even though it was their mistake and they had to fix it.When they came to help move me into my new apartment in July that was rude and disrespectful. The owner and the mover were not wearing masks, they were late, and yelled at me and the movers my apartment hired to bring the stuff up. They also scheduled to bring another clients stuff at the same time and a lot of my things him. When I tried calling them out on it, I got yelled at, even though my name was on the stuff.The stuff they did remember to pack, was packed terribly and a lot of it was broken. I found empty cans and trash, that definitely wasnt mine, in the boxes that they pack, a lot of my dishware was broken, and discovered I was missing more than I thought I was. When it came down to it, I had lost over $400 worth of stuff. They did not bother checking the dishwater, dryer, or even the laundry area.When I tried contacting the movers about all of the damages, I was left on read. They never responded to any of my texts and when my father contacted them they said the warranty was not worth the paperwork.

They unpacked my moving truck for me to put the stuff in storage while we waited for the closing of our house and then repacked it and moved it into our house for us. I recently hired M&M moving to tackle the big furniture pieces and let me say would use them again in a heartbeat! Doug, Ben, and Remey were courteous, careful, and efficient! I was quoted 3-4 hours and they knocked out the entire move in 2.25 which was a pleasant surprise. These guys had to haul some big pieces down outdoor stairs in 80+ degree weather, and I would assume they would need a break (I know I would) but these guys got it, got it done, and I dont think stopped going until the job was done. Also watching them wrap some of this stuff was like watching an artists, even the weirdest shaped thing like my cat tree was carefully and meticulously wrapped before moving. Great Job!

We used M&M to move us from our two-story townhouse into our new home back in March, and they did an awesome job! They wrapped every piece of furniture thoroughly, and they even disassembled and re-assembled a bunk bed that had a ton of pieces. All of our furniture made it to our new destination without a scratch and they completed the job ahead of schedule. Ive used Two Men and other companies in the area and I would recommend M&M over any of them.

Very professional and efficient! Requested a move for a queen bed, frame, mattress, box spring, and other items such as boxes and 2 flat screen. Were able to get the job done with an hour tops. They wrapped my mattress in plastic wrap and were very safe and careful with the delivery of my items. I highly recommend them to any college students looking for help with moving from one place to another. There prices are very reasonable and their workers are great! The lady who answers the phone is able to answer any and all questions about the company and assist you with any additional information needed for your move.

They are good at their job

They got the job done, but they were very inefficient and seemed very inexperienced. It got to the point where my husband and I jumped in to help. They stopped to chat with us pretty frequently and there was some damage to a couple of items. When it was all said and done, the total was more than what other companies had quoted and I wish we would have gone with one of them instead. At the end of the day, we got all of our stuff moved, but I would not hire them again and I would not recommend them.

I had an amazing first experience with M & M! I was nervous we wouldn’t be able to get some of our bigger/heavier furniture into the basement because the staircase is tight but they got everything exactly where we needed it! They were quick, efficient, and very friendly, for a very reasonable price. Definitely my new go-to moving company.

Had these movers move my mother from East Lansing to Fenton area. They were slow but everything got moved. One piece of furniture got broken but one of their guys fixed and a couple of the walls got dented but I accept that as part of doing business.What I dont accept is one of their guys stealing from my house. One of their guys looked really shady, and how he acted was worse. When they arrived at our new house he stared walking around the house and looking at our stuff. He started asking questions about everything that he saw and how cool this and that was.When he was bring things to the basement he spent a much longer time there by himself then any other movers I have had in the past. Yes it is my fault for not watching them but when you pay close to $1000 to have movers you expect people not to steal from you.The day after I was looking for a couple of tools and realized they were missing. They stole some of my tools and a brand new radon meter I had just gotten a couple of days ago.Tried to talk to company and they told me that those guys were on another job and couldnt bother them. I told them I need to talk to the owner or I would have to file a police report. They never got back to me and in the end I had to file the police report.As for what happens from now I will have to see what I do. But word of advice never trust anyone in your house by themselves. And especially these movers.

Owner walks thru, gives estimate, then price nearly tripled! Brand new carpet a d they come in with wet boots, didnt get everything so I have to hire real movers now!! Unbelievable! On top of this, the extra man needed to move the beautiful Marble table, they left behind..with 1/4 of a 750 square ft living area. We decided to LEAVE THE COUCHES, SO it was actually it was lighter!, and less. 2 hours late, and we were charged for it and the owner argued about every single thing. Wrong sized trailer, just a sham..

They did a great job on our move. Finished in close to half the time that was estimated on the walkthrough, which also ended up being half as expensive. Id use them again.

Unbelievably fast and efficient. They helped my family and I (2 children, boy/girl 15 months apart) move from Lansing, MI to Naperville, IL. This included the full box-up, pack-out, commute down to the new site, and unpack at the new site, services. Very dedicated and extremely hard working team. They understand the insurmountable task of being parents because they are themselves family people; they were even willing to stay in Illinoise and put a crib back together. Without them sleeping arrangement would have been interesting that first night. Management and staff are both the best, I highly recommend their services.

Hired M&M for a somewhat local move with just 2 weeks notice. Mark fit us into the time we requested with no problem. Doug and Davonta showed up right on time, calling first to let us know they were on the way. These 2 guys showed up ready to work and wasted no time. I cant say enough good thigs about them. They put everything right where we asked them to. Start to finish under 7 hours, just like Mark had estimated, no surprises here. I HIGHLY recommended M&M Moving and if youre lucky enough to get Doug and Davonta just sit back and watch them go!!!!

They have not moved us yet

We hired this company to pack our moving van for our cross country move. The packers worked hard but made bad decisions, and nearly all of our beautiful wood bedroom furniture was damaged. They packed quick and not safely. Even our washing machine was damaged. I would advise hiring your next door neighbor kids before these amateurs. Calls to discuss the damage have not been returned.

I had an emergency situation and needed movers with a notice of less than 24 hours. They were able to accommodate me. I have had terrible experiences with movers in the past and I was expecting no less than the same, but I was in a pinch and had to bite the bullet. Doug and Darius came in and moved stuff so fast it made my head spin. They didnt try to milk the clock and they were not careless with my items. Because of my last minute scheduling, I had to pay a higher per hour fee and it was worth every single penny. The entire process happened in under 3 hours and I could move on with my day. I will never use any other moving company again!

This is the first negative review I have written. These are my opinions. Check Trip-Advisor, Delta (150K miles), yelp, google to verify. M&M movers were the worst hire of my entire move and probably one of the worst of my entire life.They were late each day. Underestimated EVERYTHING, which cost me. They didn’t work that hard unless you or the owner (who was rarely there) were watching. I had things that went to Europe twice, Washington State, Chicago, St. Louis, back to Michigan—and never broke or scratched. A 10 mile move across town with these guys and the door to a 1840’s armoire got busted amongst many other things.I only chose this company because the owner is prior Air Force (I’m retired) and I thought he would make sure a good job was done—not free. He did not manage his people and WAYY missed the mark estimating EVERYTHING. The price difference with 2 men and a truck was negligible. His underbid by a lot as was evident by the final bill. While they were late and having to go another day they kept saying how this was “slow-time.” Even though they were late each day, didn’t pack enough boxes to pack (50—which I paid 2 people 7 hours each to pack 50 boxes, you do the math!). Then, they added more time to pack the next day! I feel disrespected, cheated, taken advantage of, and I could go on. I was glad to help them out with my money at the expense of our stuff! Nott! I tipped the workers and bought burgers. I guess that made me look like a fool that could TOTALLY be taken advantage of. Unfortunately, BUYER BEWARE. A couple of the workers did move a few pieces of furniture..
