Their website is not user friendly. I would not recommend it. You cannot find what is available in your area - it simply says not available within 15 miles, but you cannot see where you can get it. Very frustrating!

While taking a game back I was asked if I would like to join the rewards program, which is diffinatly a fair question. I told the cashier no thanks Im cool. The cashier continued to push the issue trying to get me to sign up over and over. Once he said well youd be cool if I cut him off and said you make me never want to come into the store again Ive already said NO. Upon leaving the cashier had the nerve to tell me not to be so stressed out. Very disappointed as he laughed as I walked out the door. Will never return. Very unprofessional.

I am exhausted from all the ignorance made even worse by deceitful Leaders that only care about there miniscule groups agenda. Lapeer (as per expected ) was a disappointment only defined even more irksome fear fed worker. I remember in history class there was a party that overtook most of Germany that eventually required sleeves and or barcodes for ID and if unable to present said tag... my b prayers for all of us

These guys have been my local GameStop for the past four years, and I have always gotten excellent service from them. Whether Im making a purchase, trading with them, they are always very informing and they provide excellent service and make sure Im getting a good deal. The phone call service is very good as well. I called with a few questions about the new console coming out, they were glad to answer them and they answered them very clearly and understandably. Compared to the service from Video Game Connection, GameStop is off the charts.

Theyve been good to me for a long time. but constantly trying to get me to buy their reward card and sheer theivery on used games is why Im calling it quits with this company. 3 games, all $59 when I bought them, gives $12 in store credit and $7 cash. For $180 worth of games!!! Using Amazon next time lol.

GameStop is a dying business and I hope it dies quickly.My husband managed this store and took great pride in doing so. He worked countless hours and never truly had a day off because he always made himself available to his employees because he truly cared. He missed countless holidays, family functions, funerals and so on. He loved his customers and wanted them to have a positive experience and leave happy because retail business relies on returning customers. More than once he used his own money to help a customer in need (I know this because hes my husband and we made these decisions together). He took great pride in sharing his knowledge of video games with others and was always looking for ways to promote and market products. My family took great pride in helping him promote and market products because he loved his job and we wanted him to be successful.My husband no longer works for this corporation and I am extremely hurt by the way he was treated in the end. GameStop does not care about their employees or the lives they destroy. Their actions are solely for their own financial gain and I will no longer support, promote or market any of their products. They will not receive another dime from me.

Noel? (Joel?) I dont remember his name as well as Bryce are the 2 best employees and always do a good job and very nice. I am a frequent customer and am always happy to come in and see one of them or both of them working. Good job fellas and good job gamestop!

5 stars for having what I was looking for when other stores around didnt as well as a speedy checkout. -2 stars for the place being 10 degrees hotter than it needed to be, cramped, and reeking of the BO of the typical game store customer. Seriously, they make commercial air fresheners and UV air sterilizers for a reason.

Dont buy warranty on the new cod. The game is corrupt and the warranty doesnt cover a game replacement only store credit or swap.

Absolutely love game stop in lapeer. I have had my pro membership for 5 years now. I have a 10 year old son and myself so we are constantly in the store. We always spend good money there and everyone there appreciates that and shows it by how hard they work and go out of there way to help had a broken Xbox 1 controller instead of them trading it in they fixed it and it works great

This is a great GameStop. We dont get over to Lapeer often, but my daughter always finds something new that our local GameStops dont have.

Today dec 1st wanted to get a game from the Lapeer GameStop and I was waiting for about 15 minutes and the guys still rambling and not helping any other people wayyy to long of transactions.. I just walked out.. Took my business else where.. Waste of my time... Hopefully you have a better experience!! Goodluck!

I dont often shop for games or merchandise that is themed from games, but I must say that the service at the local Gamestop in Lapeer, Mi. is the best in just about any Gamestop I have been in across the US. The guy that I was talking to was very knowledgeable, had great people skills and shared many of the same views that I do on the subjects that we talked about.Ignore the haters that say bad things about the staff there because they didnt get exactly what they wanted.

Depends who you get for customer service...There is this one guy (I think his name is Tim)that is awesome...So kind and very helpful...We havent seen him in awhile...Hope he is still there and wish I could remember if that is his name...Then there is a lady named Ashley...She has terrible manners...She is not very helpful and is extremely rude...

Visting my brother in Lapeer. I took him into the store. My intent was to purchase him an Xbox One console and every single game he wanted with an extra controler and headset. There was an employee working just one. He had big hug gauges in his ears (which were pretty awesome looking Ill admit) He couldnt handle it. He just could not. He was rude to customers, rude to people that called in and spent way too much time talking about games he personally played. After we browsed for 34 minutes without being helped at all I decided to go to walmart. Spent nearly $700 there. It was my baby brothers birthday I wanted to go all out. I could have saved a lot of money if this employee had a little bit more customer service skills, or if a second employee had been working and available to help me. I have traveled the country, and that by far was the worst experience I have had in any game store anywhere. I couldnt even get helped. Lapeer is a big enough town to have a decent staff guys. Get your stuff together.

We have been shopping at GameStop for YEARS....it is by far my son Kennys favorite store. His favorite employee has always been a kind man name Tim. Tim always goes above and beyond to be helpful, friendly, kind. He knows the games and has the absolute best personal skills with customers...We could choose to go to any other game store, or any other GameStop, however we will ONLY go to the GameStop in Lapeer because of the great service and respect that Tim has always showed us....WE GIVE GAMESTOP In Lapeer an A+ BECAUSE of Tim.

This is by far my favorite gamestop location. Tim is always very helpful advising me on my purchases. It is always a good experience at this gamestop.

Great last minute gifts

After speaking to an associate about a problem I was having at the moment with my consol he was able to reassure me about the situation without hesitation, needless to say but Ive been going there for years Id have to say my local gamestop is not just the one stop shop for all gaming needs but as well as a great crew to help customers with any questions they may have.

Bought a preowned game for 40.00 which was the same price as new which was already a rip off. I had them put aside a new game for me i got the used one. Then weve inly had the game 4 days and it no longer plays. When i called they said they were closed and hung up.

I have gone into here about six times in the last year or so and every time I do they have always forgotten the game I came in here just today November 23 to grab a game and was insulted by the employee named Noel I have given chance after chance and this was it I will be taking my business elsewhere and filing a complaint with upper management if possible.
