Monica the store manager is THE BEST! From the beginning to the end I could tell she cared about me and tried to make everything right and was truthful. I highly recommend her. I had a complicated situation and she worked to make it as smooth as possible. She is Top Notch and deserves a raise, especially after all I had to put her through. Thank You Monica and staff who helped her. Update, I had an ongoing issue with the tech up process and Kayla and Monica and the staff really fought for me and resolved the issue.I cannot stress enough how awesome they are and how much they care. Just do yourself a favor and go here and be patient in the process as they have many to help and want to help all. Thank you all so very much!

Had to go into the store to address an issue with swapping from a sprint SIM to a T-Mobile SIM Card I received in the mail. My phone was unusable and locked - Monica was awesome! She stayed engaged with me while working on my phone and tending to the busy flow of customers coming in. She worked late to get my phone back up and running and fixed the problem. Great customer service, knowledgeable staff.
Tonight I took my brother to both t mobiles in lapeer the first one was a joke the guys didn’t want to help him and we went to the second and Shelly was so nice and helpful and got him the phone he wanted thank you so much for all your help and the guy working with yoi I didn’t catch his name

I went in so that I could update from Sprint to T-Mobile. Kayla was truly a whole super hero. I went in knowing nothing about my accounts and Kayla took the time to assist me with patience & kindness. Kayla was working alone at the time but helped and fulfilled every customer’s needs. After going to the T mobile-Sprint store at 491 S. main where they really wouldnt look at my phone, just said they didnt have the sim card I needed for my phone despite telling the sprint tech they did the day prior. I asked if your store might and his response was probably not try the Burton store. They just blew us off. We came to your store and I was so impressed, these girls took the time to look at the phone, the knowledge to know exactly what it needed and my new phone was up and running when I left. Very personable and professional despite being quite busy with customers, ( the other store had no-one in there} I can see why. Usually I have no problems when I come to this location, but today (10/28/20) I did have a problem: they wouldnt let me in! I had just got a new phone that day in the mail, and the LTE wasnt working so I wanted to go ask why. I had arrived pretty close to closing (12 minutes before) and tried to open the door, but they wouldnt let me in. Both of the employees looked over at me too, and neither of them even attempted to unlock the door or explain they were closed or anything. Very disappointed in the lack of either transparency, or customer service.
Ricky was top notch! This guy knows everything. I cant tell you how frustrated I was getting with my phone and service, I was about to cancel. But then Ricky took care of it. Im never going to another t-mobile store unless its this one. Now my whole family is on T-mobile. Thanks to Ricky.

Once again, wasted my time. Owed a refund of $980 for over a month now. Corporate says the store has to issue it, the store doesnt know how to issue it. Still waiting since 7/21/20.This has been a huge mistake on my part, these types of transactions are making me want to boycott just about every large business. Will update as we go.
I have had so many issues with this store. And the main reason is because it is a franchise and not corporate. To start about 6 months ago I needed a new battery for my phone. They sent me to the corporate store saying I could get one for free because I has the phone insurance. Not the case. Now I am attempting to change my number from my parents plan to my own along with my fiancee. Instructions on how to do so were poorly explained by one of the emploees but we figured it out and got it switched over to a new account. Online it did tell me that it could take up to 5 days to move the number. But I then called to see if my phone would stay activated and if I could purchase the new phone I wanted to today, they said yes. But when I got all the way down to the store, they proceeded to tell me that my phone would stay active but that I could not buy the new phone nor move my fiancees from his carrier onto my new plan (that cant exist yet) until the 3-5 days is up. I would not have had a problem waiting the 3-5 days if they had just told me so. Instead they told me it was fine to come down to the store and mislead that I could get everything situated. In conclusion, i do not have a problem with sprint/t-mobile as a whole. I am just not happy with this particular store. I hope they can shapen up in the future or I will just have to find a different store.
Ricky and Sam are seriously the best! I recieved the best service and they made sure I was satisfied with my trip to the store. I can no say enough good things about them! Polite, professional, and funny! I will forever recommend this store to anyone!

This T-Mobile store in Lapeer was one of the most helpful stores I have been to. I was going up north with my family and we wanted to make sure we had service out there and Ricky showed us everything and even cleaned out our phones for us. He was a great gentlemen and was very patient.
Service was great at the store and they checked me for credit and said I was qualified for a certain tier in their phone payment thing to get new phones. I will definitely use it in the future. Service was also very polite and helpful and explaining several questions I had about becoming a new customer. They are also very down to earth and treat you better than just a customer. They really do care.
My husband and I recently visited here. AWESOME customer service! Ricky served us and answered every question we had and went above and beyond with putting our minds at ease on so many levels. He was very well-versed with Team Mobile and was very fluent with information. I would definently recommend this branch!
Workers are bad at their jobs. My fiancé was told she can pick up a new phone after making an account online to keep her number well upon arrival we were told it would take 3-5 days for the number to be transferred and could not start our plan. Does this place not want my buisness? Because they dont seem like they do.
Lapeer Store - We switched over to T-mobile in 2017 as we were moving to Germany for a year and with Deutsche Telekom we had free WiFi calling. We went to the Lapeer location and got everything we needed before we left. The manager screwed everything up! MANY calls to customer service, months later they figured it out. We were going to switch carries when we got home but decided to tough it out until our phones were paid off.Now in May 2020 I just called and spoke to the Manager Sam. Hes sooooo rude! The girl Sam was fantastic and very nice on the phone. But the manager there is so abrasive and does not listen! He kept talking over me and interrupting so I couldnt even speak. May I suggest some Dale Carnegie courses.Just to clarify when you call the 800# for customer service they are AMAZING!For some reason the Lapeer location keeps getting horrible managers and that happens to be the nearest store.We will be switching over to Verizon next week. I just cant deal anymore!

Sam and Ricky are wonderful. They are good people that look out for their customers. Honestly, this store is the reason I stay with Tmobile instead of switching to Verizon. Tmobile has much better customer service that starts with the friendly, genuine customer service in store and continues with your dedicated team of experts if you have to call in - with minimal hold times. When youre with Verizon - youre on hold for a long time if you need anything. If you have a problem and go to the Verizon authorized retail store (direct competition to this Tmobile store), youre also going to be on hold while they call to get your problem fixed. Tmobile understands customer service and will keep my business for this reason.

Update: 1 month later got late charge bill for $134.68 at the stores request according to tmobile 800 number. This store is being reported to bbb, has a complaint with tmobile, and is getting a formal complaint sent to attorney general.Warning: Got charged $102.80 just to find out I had no service at my house after they said I would.Went in to switch from att and had 2 phones I was waiting to be unlocked. Instead Sam said here take these 2 free phones and switch your sim card once your phone is unlocked. Keep these phones as back ups. Ok no problem I could use a spare anyways. We get our plan all set up with 3 lines on the military plan for $90. Sounds great. Get home and find out we have no service at our house when their computer said we should. We call right away and they mail us a signal booster. It worked inside the house but still had no service outside. We were told we could bring everything back within 14 days for a FULL refund. So we take everything back within a week. Everything is returned and told we need to pay $1.80. My wife asks if the rest will be refunded and he said no because of the restocking fee. He said it is a t moble policy and there is nothing he can do but we can call t moble directly. Upon calling they inform me it is not their policy but the stores policy.Long story short, store scammed me out of $100. And it doesnt look like Ill ever see it again.

Absolutely horrible company! Service was good for the first month of and after that it all went down hill! I finally decided that it was not worth the small amount of savings to be with this company and switched to a different carrier. When I went in to cancel my service and turn my phone in they wanted to charge me just to turn my phone back in! The customer service people both at corporate and this location are no help. The lady at the store walked away as were we trying to get our situation taken care of. Along with this situation, while I had this service my bill was never the amount that they told me it would be. Consistently changed and I had to call each month to get it straightened out and had to fight with the customer service reps. Do not get this carrier if you can avoid it at all!

Worst mobile wireless company I have ever had the displeasure of having. I can say this with total confidence because I have had them all. Thumb Cellular, Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, Metro PCS, and so on. I am less than a week into my new contract with them, bought the new Samsung Galaxy S8+, and I have had nothing but issues with connectivity since day one. Mind you I am also in a well populated city less than 3 miles away from the nearest T-Mobile cell tower, I dont live out in the boonies. My main problem with them is their customer service (or lack there of). Always getting the run around, reps constantly lie to me and never give me a straight forward answer. Filed a BBB claim hoping to get the issue resolve ASAP thinking someone from main corporate office would contact me. NO!! I was contacted by a basic low level customer service rep who lied and said they were a supervisor from corporate! I know this because the number on my caller ID was the same number listed on google and website as customer service number, which does not resemble the number I know of to be the corporate number. Also was a Saturday when this rep called me and the corporate offices are only open Monday- Friday. Another technical rep lied to me stating that the towers my phone are trying to connect to are undergoing maintenance and that they would be done by the 19th of September and should have no issues after that, even though this so called supervisor I spoke too said that all their towers and services are working as they should and are not undergoing maintenance. If I would have listened to the tech rep and waited it would have put me past my 14 day grace period to exit my contract without paying penalties or buying out of contract. He PURPOSELY tried screwing me over by getting stuck into my contract so that my only choice at that point would have been to pay a boat load of money to buy out my contract. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE THINKING OF SWITCHING!!!!!! I would rather try to string together two Dixie cups to contact someone than use their lack of services. Would probably even get better results.On another note, the rep specifically at the Lapeer, MI location had no clue what he was doing. After leaving once my services were active I got home and found out that he never even included my data plan into my contract! He also got my social security wrong on file AND under my EIP (equipment plan) for the two phones I purchased should of shown two identical Samsung Galaxy S8+ phones. Instead showed a Galaxy and an LG G6, a phone I dont even have!After being in the store for nearly 3 hours I seen many people come and go to pay bills and what not, but this one older lady came in (clearly didnt know how to use her smartphone) and ask the gentleman working if he could fix her phone. After explaining what she thought was wrong with it, and looking over the phone for nearly 20 minutes, this guy had the audacity to tell her that her LCD screen was broken and would cost a pretty penny to get it fixed. Being pretty tech savvy myself I asked the lady to walk with me outside the store so that I could take a look if she didnt mind. She agreed and it took me all but 5 minutes to realize that she had accidentally switched her theme profile and activated the polarized image under her accessibility settings. ( Photos were negative polarity and all her icons were white when she said they used to be black) Needless to say I completely returned her phone back to normal the way that she liked it at no cost to her.
