Ended up getting an iced tea drink from Coal Creek. It was great! Fine service and an amazing atmosphere!

Stopped in for coffee while waiting for sandwiches to be made next door. The service was friendly and fast. I ordered two Mochas that were tasty, not as sweet as I would have liked, but thats my own personal preference. The barista did add extra to sweeten it up as I had asked for, I just like my coffee really, really sweet. Overall a good experience, Id go back again when passing through Laramie.

Oddly enough they didnt have any coffee made 😒 (I know weird for a coffee shop). The food was very good. I would definitely go back (Id just bring my own coffee).

My friends and I had a great experience here. We loved the food we got (bison sandwich, but, turkey pesto), thought the tea and coffee selection and quality were great, and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Prices were also quite reasonable. Would definitely come back when next in Laramie!

Im not much of a coffee person but their coffee is great. The french butter muffins are the best. Its also a calm area, so you could get some work on your laptop there. But I had to take 2 stars off because of the rude staff; they always are so mean to me. Its a better idea to go to the one downtown, since the staff are nicer there.

The coffee is good. Like, it was a really good latte. Heres why I gave this place one star:2 employees, one at the register, one making the drinks and food. No gloves, no masks.Line out the door. No masks, no one cleaning tables.40 minutes later, I finally got my latte. It cost $7 without the tip. My daughter got a cold panini and a dirty chai. Couldnt get a box for the half she didnt eat. Couldnt drink the chai, it was so spicy. $20.This place is very poorly managed. If youre going to make money hand over fist, get some more help in there to make it worth the money your customers are spending.

First time, just passing thru .Ordered a mocha it was pleasant, not too sweet and got me going for the morning. Service was slow as only 1 barista was working. Good place don’t be in a hurry.

Do not waste your money here. I paid $7 for a disgusting coffee that took 30 mins to arrive, AND $11 for a cold panini made with mushy deli meat. Incredibly disappointing considering the cute atmosphere.

Id give this place zero stars if I could. The staff have never been friendly every time we go in. You really have to search for the flavors in the coffee and steamers. I want a nice welcoming cup of tasty joe, not a hostile exploration through the java jungle. Would not recommend.

I am a dark roast drinker and they had multiple options available. Great Americano and the raspberry croissant was tasty!

They have a stupid mask rule for getting in and out of the building or ordering coffee. There much better places to get better coffee.

Stopped here on our way back to the east coast from fighting the Mullen Fire. A customer was gracious enough to pay for our coffees which we all appreciated!Excellent coffee and pastries. I identify with CCCs mission and am glad to support it.

The coffee is good. Not a great place to hang out, its very cold inside. Their food is pretty low effort but the quiches are good.

Have been waiting for our drinks for a half hour. Asked if our tea was being worked on after 20min and the gal behind the counter said it’s “probably being worked on” didn’t even check on the order. Asked another gal about our drinks and we sat for another 15min... still haven’t gotten the drinks... I don’t leave bad reviews ever but my god your customer service is horrific. We ended up just leaving without our drinks because it was such a massive waste of our time.

Great shop. Love the products. My only beef is the manager, Evan?, asks for a tip EVERY SINGLE TIME I ORDER. We are doing curbside pick up and I want to tip but at my digression. Its made me go else where because of the audacity of this guy.

I enjoyed coming to this place for a while. Though they still have decent coffee, the service got untolerable. Cannot recommend any more.

Terrible service! Plus the tables and floors are filthy! They are consumed with mask wearing but don’t clean or sanitize at all.

I really enjoyed coming to this coffee shop a year ago and would come in almost everyday. They have pretty good coffee. However, lately I have only been in once or twice due to the awful services I have received and witnessed. I will not be coming here anymore because it is not the same kind service and comfortable environment that it once provided and it is definitely not worth it.

Edgy atmosphere - which I like - and friendly staff. First time ever having sourdough banana bread - and I highly recommend it!

Great coffee, but if they are busy be prepared to wait 35-40 min for coffee and after waiting that long, they got my order wrong.

I visited the uptown location today and was told masks were required upon entry. When I stated I had a medical issue that prevented me from wearing a mask both employees scoffed at me. I have frequented coal creek over the years but due to the unprofessional nature and attempt to shame me for my health problems this will be the last time I support this business.

Seemed like a nice place. I ordered my gf a large latte, which we received after a long wait.GF didnt want to drink it after only 2 sips. Should have gone to Starbucks instead. Ive never seen her reject a latte before. We go to many coffee houses.

Still havent been 2 Coal Creek, I was at McAllister, getting my grandson something 2 eat and some tea...

Pour over coffee was made just exactly right... except that it was extremely hot, so i needed to wait just a few minutes before I could drink it... buuut... then again the water temp to make the coffee was likely exactly the 205 degrees needed to make the perfect cup, so how can I complain?

Really enjoyed the honey latte and breakfast sandwiches.

They have always been way over priced but recently raised their prices.. $7 for one slice of quiche?? Seriously!?

We waited 45 minutes for a hot chocolate and a peanut-butter bagel, and the bagel was half toasted and had a side of peanut butter with a knife, they couldn’t even bother to put the peanut butter on the bagel. Wouldn’t have been an issue if I got it in less than 5 minutes, but 45?! Absolutely ridiculous.

Whether its Coal Creek uptown or downtown, you can be sure the coffee, food, and service will be great. Though I prefer the atmosphere of their downtown store, uptown is still a cozy spot for a coffee date or work meeting, and its closer to campus and often less busy.

I love the atmosphere to come and do homework while sipping on a Hot Snow. Best cup of white hot chocolate that I have ever had, so it will always bring me back. The prices are average for a nice coffee shop, and it is never super busy, so its not hard to find a place to sit.

In the past I had really enjoyed coming to this coffee shop, however, as of late most of the employees are quite rude and make the experience here rather unpleasant. The past several times I have been here, I have either had an employee be rude to me, or witnessed them being rude to another customer. This kind of customer service makes an otherwise enjoyable coffee shop not worth going to. I would much rather go to Turtle Rock or Night Heron.

Their dark coffee is pretty strong. Like an extra strong Starbucks. Not my preference but friends who like coffee call it the best coffee around.

Liberal anti-American. Got yelled at from across the room by staff because I didn’t have a mask on... even though no one sitting down had a mask on either.I turned around and walked out.

Decent cup of coffee, limited selection of beverages and snacks. The brownie was lackluster, the name was probably the most exciting part of it. Service was not bad, timely, but I felt prices were a bit high. Will have a hard time deciding to stop here over a large chain coffee shop in the future.

After our walk we come to Coal Creek 5 days a week, usually between 10 and 1 o’clock. Over the last several days the pastry case has next to nothing to choose from. Before there were plenty to choose from. I need my goodies!

Im a Folgers kind of person so the coffee was a bit strong for me. That said, this is a very comfortable coffee house well suited for hangout with friends or working on your laptop.

They make a good cup of joe. All the fancy coffee you could possibly want and tea as well. Handmade goodies to make your day better and free WiFi. They have outdoor seating so you can enjoy the sun during the summer.

Coffee is good- high quality. Normally I dont complain, but every time Ive been to either Coal Creek (coffee part) the bar is another story, Ive had a bad experience both Uptown and Downtown. Staff is typically slow and unfriendly. One time I stopped by for a quick drip coffee before work, but it took 20 minutes for two people to make 3 drinks for the people in front of me, and I had to leave before getting my drink, luckily I didnt spend a ton of money on that one, but it was silly how slow they were moving. A few times Ive had my coffee burnt, and Ive been charged a questionable $6 and $4 for a shot in the dark which I can get for $2.25 at The Grounds where staff is friendly, quick, and consistent in their barista skills (Ive never had a burnt coffee from The Grounds). The bar Downtown is absolutely great; Ive had nothing but great service and excellent beer.

Very friendly staff but don’t buy a raspberry iced tea chiller unless you want less then a 1/4 cup ice tea and the rest frozen raspberries very not worth what it costs!!

The coffee is alright but the staff is apathetic and nescient. My order gets messed up every single time I go in. I order a double I get a single, I order two I get one etc. Im definitely just going to stick with Starbucks from now on.

Coffee is very expensive and service isnt very good. Bought a large coffee and cappuccino. They came in 16 oz and 10 oz and was $7. Had to ask where creamer was since they never said and it was almost empty. Only had one choice of creamer.

Favorite local coffee house.

Its cheep. Not good banana bread. No flavor. Capachino was over top bland.
