Dropped my kid off at UW. my first impression of turtle rock was that it was a plant store or something, but as we got closer the charm was immediately apparent. It has great food solid coffee and is everything you would want in a neighborhood coffee shop. Had to swing by one more time before leaving, and will definitely be back when in town.

This place is a constant disappoint. None of the employees are polite AT ALL. They consistently mess everything up, nothing can ever be done correctly. And when asked politely to correct their screw ups, they act rude and childish. Today for example, they made a mocha Frappuccino that was not right. It tasted like watered down coffee. When politely asked to remake it, the lady rudely walked by and said “if you want it fixed you have to get up and come to the front.” When we walked around to the front, the employee was slamming things around and complaining about remaking the drink. She brought it back and rudely threw it on the table and failed to bring a straw. In other situations, they forget to make your drink entirely and then blame it on the new staff members that are working there for “doing their jobs incorrectly” in front of customers. I had to call them to refund the coffee a week later because it still had not been done although they stated that it would be done that very day. To say the least, I would advise others to go ANYWHERE but here for their coffee as the rude service and incorrect orders are not even worth the heartache. It is definitely something that you won’t feel bad about missing out on as the food and coffee are mediocre even when done correctly. I certainly will not be returning.

Great coffee. Very crowded around noon on a Sunday. They were pretty fast considering how busy they were. Menu wasnt easy to see for food items. Worth a stop if going through Laramie

This is a must stop in Laramie, a little out of the way, but worth it. Fresh food, amazing bistro and an excellent little bakery.

If you’re in the town of Lareme, Wy don’t missed the chance to go here! What an amazing place! Not only they have the best drinks, best food and best prices; the staff is outstanding, they make sure you leave happy and wanting to come back! Was just driving through Laramie headed back to Seattle and read the reviews. They were RIGHT! Coffee was delicious and the breakfast sandwich I had and my brothers burrito was SPOT ON!!! This little gem of a cafe can hang with any in the Seattle area. The gals running the cafe were super friendly and patient with our slow (exhausted road trip) order. Fantastic place, 5 stars all the way!!

Hands down! Best in the universe. Starbucks cant compete with Turtle Rocks coffee. Smooth and yummy. My favorite is a Honey Vanilla Latte. Check it out.

The sandwiches here are so good. I have a hard time deciding for both breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They are big and have such good ingredients. For breakfast sandwiches they have two different Lox options as well as the Happy Jack. I eat a few of their veggie lunch sandwiches too because they are so good even though there are plenty of meat options. The breads, veggies and sauces are just good. Seating is often full but it is worth taking it to go.

Great little place across from UW. Friendly service and varied menu. Coffee, tea, Italian sodas, sandwiches, wraps, salads. You love bacon and your partner is vegetarian? This keeps you both happy! Reasonable prices. Highly recommend!! In good weather enjoy eating outside.

Im giving a 5 star because their peach mango smoothie is delicious but Im hoping its not a cruel practice to only give a tiny straw to drink it with? I went back and was told thats all they had. I took a spoon but doesnt make it easy to drink with needing to drive. In hoping they are out of stock I just wanted to encourage the owners to please keep the great experience going by giving the right utensils for the product offered.

Turtle Rock is a wonderfull cosy cafe! Plenty of indoor snap outdoor seating Nice for relaxing. We had some great sandwiches including a mojo black bean And turkey on a fresh light focaccia bread. There veggie tales salad was delicious! The staff were very nice and the Sundays coffee was very good

Ordered an Ay Cramba over the phone. The lady taking my order said it would be about 15 min. I walked in about 5 min after I made the call and it was ready. Exceptional service. It also was the juiciest Ay cramba I have ever had, delicious food, great atmosphere, and great service. Always a regular stop for my food cravings or lunch breaks.

Standard sandwhich shop. They do not have dairy free cheese, so you will need to have cheese left of the vegetarian sandwhich if you are trying to stay vegan. Would be cool if they got local meat and produce, but I dont think they do. Also, the coffee typically is not great imo, sort of mediocre/average. A coffee lover/foodie will probably not be satisfied, but if you are just trying to find somewhere to eat that is not downright bad, then this is pretty much your only option near or on campus.

They have good steamers (caffeine free) and good food. The milk in the steamer was not curdled. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. I would go here again.

I am a regular customer at Turtle Rock, and I have been coming here for years. I come here almost everyday to get a coffee before work. My husband and I got to Turtle Rock almost every Friday to get their delicious red pepper and gouda soup. The coffee and food here is some of the best Ive ever had, and the customer service is generally very good. Today, however, I dealt with an extremely rude employee. This is not the first occurrence either. She has been unfriendly and rude in almost every encounter Ive had with her, but today was the last straw. As usual I placed my order for red pepper gouda soup and was coming to pick up my food. The employees were still working on my order, so I went ahead and put my things down at a table. I was about to leave to go grab my husband, and the rude employee stopped me. She yelled at me in front other customers and employees saying that I could not leave my things there if I was leaving. I cordially responded that I had been allowed to do it before, but I would respect the change in policy. Another employee started to say I could leave my things there, but she snapped at him too, telling him it wasnt allowed. I quickly grabbed my order and left. I understand that this is now the policy, but it was the way the employee handled the situation that upset me.

Most delightful little cafe! If you aren’t immediately charmed and entertained by the menu names then you have no soul. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very cleanly, orders came out quickly and the food was delicious! Will definitely be stopping here again when in town!

Such a cute little place!! We wanted a little bite after some hiking, and they did not disappoint! We got a panini and a vegetarian sandwich and both were delicious! I also had a strawberry shake that was amazing as well! Highly recommend!

Piping hot fresh food!! We are vegan, and its often hard to find food to eat easily. The staff was super nice about adjusting ingredients in the menu items for us without being annoyed. The coffee and London fog (with soy of course) were amazing!!

Best place to get coffee in Laramie! Period! There coffee is always smooth and never tastes burnt like other main stream franchises do. They also have a coffee card so you can get a free drink on the 10 punch, also everyday you have a chance to get a free stamp by answering the trivia question of the day. If your craving chocolate ask for a mud puddle blended they are amazing. Turtle Rock offers amazing friendly service, they will get your drink right. They also can make specialty drinks; just ask. Dont forget they also have old menus you can order from; just ask. There caffeine cool down there. 😀

Turtle Rock is a cozy spot to get an excellent coffee, tasty sandwich, or hot bowl of their daily soup. As long as you dont mind the occasional college student, this is a perfect spot to meet up with an old friend and catch up. Turtle Rock has an excellent selection of pastries, sandwiches, soups, and beverages. But for all of the items they sell, they never sacrifice the quality of the service they provide.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!! The food is delicious but I love the service the BEST!! Great friendly as well as efficient staff. Very hard workers in a very busy place. We are from Gillette and this is our 1st experience in Laramie, our 1st place to eat at in town and we LOVED IT!! We had to get double the order of Mac and Cheese and my Hodgepodge Salad was massive!! I fell in love with the Guten Free Cheese Sandwich as well as the AMAZING coffee!! I am not exaggerating and would give this place 10 stars!!!

A college coffee shop with great coffee and food. Its worth the short jaunt off of the Interstate and you can see some interesting houses on the way. The only negative was there were a lot of flies inside the day we were there.

Quick easy coffee shop/cafe in Laramie! I like this place, it’s nothing fancy but it’s reliable, the staff is pleasant, and they try to have a fun menu without going over the top. They do have food and it’s fine for a quick bite.

A little pricey and can take some time to get through the line (mostly because the place is usually busy. It is a favorite for students looking to grab some coffee or lunch while on campus. But if you are driving in during normal school hours to eat here, you may find it tough parking. There food is excellent and the staff is super friendly and warm.

Ive only been there for the sandwiches, which are life altering. They are delicious. The staff is friendly, polite, they are quick and the location is clean. It is a must have if you are visiting for a few days or wanting to explore more of the better and quiet places to have great food.

It’s looked the same for the last ten years and like the interior layout there is an air of exhaustion here. Could be a gem, of someone would care enough.

Everyone who works at turtle rock is pretty chill, its got a good laid back vibe and being right attached to campus essentially is helpful and efficient. Food and drink there is good and I usually spend too much there but its worth.
