My 4-year-old and I stopped in Laramie to fix some engine troubles and wait for my partner who was stranded with our other vehicle with a blown engine in Rock Springs. After I changed my spark plugs, we had about 5 hours to kill, more than half of which we spent here. The quiche, muffins, and drinks were delicious. Upstairs there is a small children’s section with toys. When we finished our food, we went up there and it kept my little one entertained for a good while, giving me much needed time to decompress.

Ever had a warm yogurt and OJ based smoothie? It’s just as gross as it sounds. Adding ice does not help.

Their used book selection is awesome! I love the cafe they have and how enjoyable it is to meet friends and enjoy a snack. Their quiche of the day and soup is always my go to. They make a dirty chai which is pretty outstanding as well!

Two things that can always make me happy are tea and books! I enjoyed browsing the books while drinking my tea. The staff was very friendly. This is definitely an excellent place to rest and relax either before or after a day of shopping or hiking!

Cant remember the last time I enjoyed a bookshop this much. Amazing staff, so many well organized and alphabetized books to peruse, all appropriately priced for size and condition. I found every author I was looking for, and I had a list of at least a dozen.And tasty pastries to boot!If I come to Wyoming again I will go out of my way to come here!

I have yet to be disappointed by this wonderful place. Comfortable cafe, cozy atmosphere, delicious (and affordable) eats, and a variety of beverages. Todays soy latte was just the right amount of foam. Great place to sit and eat breakfast while watching the day go by from an upstairs window, or have a chat with a friend, or study and write while sipping an infused apple cider, or check out the variety of books that line the shelves on the walls... Night Heron is a gem.

Perfect cafe...varied menu (lattes, panini, salads, quiche, smoothie, baked goods) all served up in a used book store that is heaven to peruse. Staff very kind and frienly...just go!!!

I am a bread baking hobbyist. Somewhere along the way, I lost my treasured copy of the Breads from Rose Lane Farm. I finally found a copy at Night Heron Books via the internet.The book arrived within the promised timeline -- despite how terrible deliveries have been this season (Dec. 2020). It was in the condition described, actually a little nicer. And it was well-wrapped to protect it again possible exposure to winter weather.Id recommend trusting Night Heron to make an internet purchase.

Possibly the best coffee in town and certainly the best atmosphere. Unpretentious and welcoming. The upstairs feels less crowded and is nice to spread out and relax with friends. An excellent selection of used books, too.

Great stop for some coffee and lunch. Excellent breakfast burritos. Its fun to look through the used books although it can be difficult to find something specific. The staff is always very helpful if you ask about a specific book though.

I had a great sounds hot cocoa and my friend loved her latte. Lots of places to sit and work or chat. Only things keeping it from five stars - barren food selection and overall tidiness. Wasnt unclean, just a bit haphazard. Friendly service and good drinks!

Super cute spot with a ton of books and a huge variety of drink options. My chai latte was delicious, and I got to enjoy it while sitting in a (dated 😂) comfy chair surrounded by books. If I lived in the area, Id definitely come here often.

Great food, great drinks, and awesome atmosphere. The quiche is always fantastic, and theres a great range of interesting soups and salads. Only one option per day, but its always something different, without going too far into experimental territory. It can get kind of cramped, but it attracts a bookstore/coffeehouse crowd, so volume doesnt really get to be a problem.

Our Toastmaster officers meeting is held here at 7 to 8 am. We can easily discuss our business and order coffee and breakfast.

Great place for the staples you need and use in bulk like oats, flour, beans etc. Kind and helpful staff. Recommend it to all for all needs. Unless youre on a shoe string budget, then I would only recommend the bulk option which is the most cost-effective in town.

This is a fantastic used book store and coffee shop! I enjoyed the veggie breakfast burrito very much, and dont miss out on their yummy salsa! The quiche was also quite tasty- great crust!

HAS TO BE one of the most comfortable coffeehouses in Laramie. Staff are super laid back while at the same time are attentive. Solid WiFi connection. It started life as an excellent second hand book store. Owners added a second floor and a cafe borderline full service restaurant. Retains the book store charm but now its a great place to meet friends and drink their bracing house brand coffee.

This two story bookstore/coffee shop has a great feel to it. Its precisely the place Id choose to get a coffee and get some work done. There is something about being surrounded by used books that evokes a studious attitude.In the warmer months they offer something nobody else in town does: nitro cold brew coffee, and it is so smooth and refreshing on a hot day.

Almost always have great service. A warm cozy place to read a book and drink coffee .

Ive been going here weekly since I moved to Laramie 2 years ago. Friendly, cozy atmosphere, wonderful coffee, food, and pastries with vegetarian options. I have found some of my favorite books on the shelves here :)

Fresh locally grown foods are a priority and are delicious....they change the menu at just the right pace...I can find my favorites for long enough...and then something tasty disappears and something new must be tried. The gluten-free sweet potatoe waffles on Sunday are the bomb.
