Great service. Got some tires for my car and they took care of me for a great price and didnt take long to replace. I will be back with my other cars.

Took my car in for an oil change. Usually go to another Walmart but they were busy that day. After waiting almost an hour they told me they couldn’t do it because the oil pan plug was stripped. Told me to take it to my mechanic. Husband took it in to the mechanic at his work and the plug was absolutely fine! Nothing wrong with it at all! If you can’t get the plug off then you clearly need more training!!

I deal with this Walmart a lot with doordash pickups and they are usually pretty quick when it comes to that. I did go in there with my daughter to get her oil changed and we were told it would be about half hour 45 minutes. They also said they would call her name once they were ready. We never heard her name called so once we were done shopping we went there and they have not even started on the oil change because he could not figure out how to get her door unlocked. The keyless entry was not working but all you had to do was put the key in the door and unlock it which he did not even try to do. Thats why Im giving them for stars we were a little frustrated.

I purchased a set of 4 tires for my truck from WalMart.com and had them shipped to my local Supercenter in Layton. I followed up with a call to the tire department, and they assured me they’d call the day my tires arrived, and they told me I could show up any time of any day as late as 5:30 for same-day tire installation. So a few days later, I called and verified that a) the tires were there, and b) I could get them installed on my truck anytime before 5:30. When I showed up several days after that at 5:10, I was told that truck tires take longer, but they’d stay late and get it done. He then turned away another customer who arrived at 5:15. After an hour and a half, I returned and saw my truck still in the bay. They hadn’t even touched it! The excuses ranged from my running boards not allowing clearance. I told him I use floor jacks, and he verified they had several, and then told me his crew had all left before their shift ended. He then went on complaining about WalMart’s terrible equipment. I told him to throw my tires in my truck and I’d find another competent installer. To his credit, he apologized afterwards. Took it to the Riverdale store, and they had it done quickly and professionally. I’ll avoid the Layton store from now on.

Mike helped me out today he was very friendly. Today I had some lug nuts loose on my car and Im glad I brought it in. Mike was very friendly and helped me out. Walmarts car repair place is open on Sunday.

Dropped my car off for an oil change I did get a voice message that my car was ready.When I picked up my car, after waiting 20 minutes in line, only to find out the changed the air filter. I hadn’t authorized it. When I asked about it, the lady at the counter said “ it was really dirty” I will not go back again. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.

I just went to the Centerville, Utah auto center today and wanted to comment on an employee named Robert. He was incredible--very friendly and went out of his way to help me with a couple of other problems at no charge. I wish all of the employees were that good, and I hope he stays there a long time!

Everytime Ive ever called here, not once have they answered the phone.

Went there for a standard oil change on Saturday November 28. When I got home later that night my car was smoking. Turns out they didnt put my oilCap back on and there was oil all over my engine and i heard a rattling in my hood. Took it back on Sunday my oil cap was in my engine and they tried cleaning my engine with a bucket of water. My sister ripped them all a new one. Wont be coming back. Very disappointing. Get some people that actually know what they are doing

Said they couldnt do an oil change case the pan needed to be replaced, I took it to be replaced somewhere else there was nothing wrong with it at all

It was okay, there was no line and it still took 2 hrs for an oil change. It is a cheap option.

A little frustrated. My husband and I went into the auto center to ask about what they recommended as far as an oil change and to have them check and fix our tire pressure because we had an indicator light that it was low. They of course recommended full synthetic. We were hesitant because of cost but decided to do it. What she neglected to tell us was that our vehicle would cost an additional $10 for a specific filter and then charged us extra for “more required oil” as well. KNOWING we were worried about the cost. That should have been disclosed to us. We got back to our vehicle after paying and it still says our tire pressure is low. She said “we filled it to the recommendation. If you need more than that you need to go elsewhere.” My husband said no, we paid you to do it and you at least need to check it again, to which she replied it’s first come first serve and we’ll need to wait 2 hours. DON’T GO HERE.

I didnt care for the lazy person working morning of 11-9-19. First offIt says you open at 8:00 not 8:10 so have the door open by 8:05. Second were not doing oil changes right now because its just me and the manager. Ive been there before when there was was only two people and they gladly still took my car. Never going back for an oil change.

It was a very long wait, 2 hours actually but I got to give it to the front desk people they were super polite. Moving forward though I would encourage the store to have the mechanics at least acknowledged people that have come up to the line of their vehicles and let them know they need to go inside to check in instead of ignoring them. Other than that we were pretty happy with everything.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The website says the auto shop opens at 8, they didn’t open the doors until 8:30, and after they let us in they informed us they couldn’t do anything until 9. If you’re looking for a quick, easy tire change, Walmart isn’t it.

The people are friendly but i had to give this one star. I bought tires and was going to have them mount and balance them. I called and made an appointment and even asked if there were any restrictions. They only told me tread depth. Came in today to get it done and they rejected me due to 1 stud missing. Wouldnt even let me sign a release or anything just flat out rejected me.

My new brand new tires can go up to 51psi...they only put in 24psi. And they say its Utahs law that we have to balance all new tires...there goes 50 bucks down the drain! Geeze! I only drive this car 1 mile to the train stop.

Stopped in for an oil change not only did they put the wrong weight of oil in, they lied about my vehicle taking that oil saying it was on my oil cap when it wasnt, they refused to fix the mistake they made despite me even showing them my owners manual that clearly says my full size truck takes 5w30 not the 5w20 they put in it. So thanks to them being incompetent I had to pay for two oil changes as had to pay someone else to fix Walmarts mistake

The cashiers for the Auto Center were really nice, but the service was terrible! I just went in to get a battery replaced. If I had known that it would take almost TWO HOURS to do just that, I would have gone somewhere else! They told me that it was because they only had one tech working, when I could clearly see two. They made excuses and I even had to go up to the counter and tell them that my car wasnt in the garage anymore so it must be done. It was. As I was leaving I saw one of the techs just shooting the breeze with a customer. They techs moved very slow and werent in any hurry. They have good prices, but Im never going back there again.

Super disappointed went in sat morning first person in and was asking to have two services done. An oil change and tires balanced and rotated, was told it would be an hour and a half before someone could look at my tires. Then my oil was changed no one notified me that the job was finished. Then I return to pay and the older gentleman yelled at me from across the room in front of 3 other customers that my tire is bald and dont ask for the service requested. The man didnt even look at my paperwork or ask if I even wanted to replace the tire. Then to top it off the employees are talking about me and the situation they didnt even realize that I was in the waiting room hearing their comments. Yes I was upset your employee was rude, you didnt want to do the service and then when it is expressed by a customer you act like your employee didnt act like that and that Im making it up?? What kind of service is that?? Honestly never seen such disrespect and to be put down for being upset that no one wants do do their job or treat a paying customer with respect after being treated badly. Save your money and your time.

Ryan was very helpful today. We got there right before closing time and he helped us with two emergency flat tires. He had great customer service and went above and beyond for us.

I will never patronize this Layton auto care location again. Every visit is a hassle. Dont buy anything from this auto care center. I wish I could give this location zero stars or negative stars.They are undesirables who are NOT knowledgeable, they dont care about offering quality product or service. Even though you might pay for the extra coverages or services like balancing and rotation, its always a hassle even though you have your paperwork in hand.Ive already moved on to real tire stores where I will gladly pay more for better service, knowledgeable staff, better warranties THAT ARE ACTUALLY HONORED.

We use Walmart for oil changes and service. Last experience wasnt great though. Came in for nail in tire. Unrepairable and claimed they had our tires in stock. Waited and walked around the store for about 30 minutes before they called us back. They then told us the tires werent in stock after all and we felt wed wasted time. Normally service is good but this was a poor experience.

I love going there. They treat me nice. They do everything my car needs for me and I think they are awesome!

We got a flat tire 400 miles from home. We got towed to this Walmart and arrived right as they were closing up. I explained our situation to the manager and he stayed for nearly an hour getting our tire fixed up so we could get back on the road. Bryan and June in the Walmart auto Center in Layton, Utah saved us from having to stay the night in our car in a strange city and we will be forever grateful.

The absolute worst experience getting tires put on my car. Two times coming back to the store. Asked for tires, (that I had already purchased and were in my trunk) to be put on and an oil change. They said it would take about an hour and a half. When I arrived 2 hours later they said that they had barely gotten the tires on and that they had forgotten about the oil change. Then I had to wait for another 25 min for them to get the uncompleted lube charge removed from my ticket. It was a complete joke. The only good part was Amy, one of the employees there was trying her hardest to get me on my way quickly as my kids were getting out of school. Dont go here!

This section is in the southwest corner (back right when walking in the front) of the store.Every time I have gone, they have been helpful. The 5 liter size oil jugs are cheaper here (walmart) than anywhere else Ive found, and they will also take your used oil without charging a fee.Also, in the past when Id bought a battery here, they took the old battery as well.

When I went to pay, they went over everything they did (i.e checked all lights, vacuumed the carpets, etc). They did none of that. I already knew one headlight was out. They didnt even bother to reset the service engine light. It came on a few days later and has been on since. I asked for new windshield wiper blades, and they forgot. The only way I knew that they had actually changed the oil was by looking at the dipstick and seeing it was clear. Dont want to deal with them, but still have to go back and have them turn off that light.

Good god, do they have an aversion to answering the phone? The quality of the product is appalling, anything that is popular they rarely if ever have in stock. Their ONLY saving grace is the prices, and a few of their cashiers and door greeters.

Did a good job. (Tires) took a while longer than I thought it should, but all in all not bad.

Told me 40 min. Took +1.5hrs. Then parked my car and proceeded to help 5 or 6 new customers instead of letting me know my vehicle was ready and checking me out. To top it off, while they were checking me out they answered the phone and proceeded to help the caller with their questions and left to check the prices on RV batteries. They also screwed up my mileage on the reminder sticker.

Went in to the Layton Walmart auto center to get a battery tested when picking the battery up the lady at the counter would not get off of her phone for a second to help me and continued to be on it as she was helping me. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time, embarrassing.

Top notch service, fast and friendly service. Purchased 4 tires last week and oil, lube service this week. I have zero complaints. Keep up the good work!

The pricing is good the service is sub par.I bought tires for my truck. I wanted all terrain tires slightly wider than the factory tires.A fairly common request. I Ordered tires here due to them offering road hazard warranty included in the price of mounting. When they arrived they refused to mount the tire because they werent the factory size.Its really frustrating to me that they let me purchase a set of new tires wait a week and a half for them to arrive only to pull the rug out from under my feet.

Rotten service, never will come back. The woman before me had two small kids; it look them 1 1/2 for an oil change....kids crying and mom stressed. I’ve been waiting over an hour for my own oil change. One person in front of me when I arrived. Still waiting!!

Came in early Saturday morning for an oil change. I was the first one in line 30 minutes after opening. I asked how long to get an oil change. They said 2 hours because they only had one technician. Every time I go and ask it’s always 2 hours. My wife went today, one car in the bay and no one in line... 2 hours to get an oil change. It’s ridiculous.

My tire stem blow out while in my driveway. It was late and after searching on line for a tire store that was still open, Walmart was the only one and their site stated that the tire center was open 24 hours. I loaded the tire that needed repair and my kids into my wifes car and drove to Walmart. After pulling up it was evident that the tire center wasnt open and on the wall were the hour 7am-7pm. That isnt 24 hours. Back home I went frustrated and still have a flat tire.

Last few times Ive been here have been awful. You pull up and sit in your car for 10 minutes because someone is supposed to greet you but of course they dont. You walk inside and wait around for someone to finally walk up with a look of disdain on their face and ask you what you want. Finally you get your car checked in for an oil change and get told it will be an hour but it turns out it takes an hour and a half to 2 hours instead.

Time USA reasonable, just get there early

I take my car here for oil changes and they always do a great job, but they dont ever let me know when my car is ready. I end up spending hours wandering around Walmart because I dont have transportation and they dont call me to let me know when my car is done.

I got a oil change with a fuel treatment which was to have a chemical ran thru the intake to clean out hydro carbons and ad a chemical to the fuel I just filled up at Chevron gas premium fuel with a 92 octane the service was to include filling any fluids 5qts of oil and on the sign it said $40 which I felt walk then she told me that I was only going to pay $20 I remarked to the girl are you sure she said yes I said again r u sure its a special right now I was feeling great I waited 2 hr I picked up my car and paid 53 dollars after taxes I guess there was no special I didnt even set the floor mats vacuumed I will not go there again I think when they advertise a product a say there going to vacuum your car they should follow thru I guess she made a mistake and didnt say a thing Im not sure they even did the oil change?🤔

At least here I know my oil is actually being changed. I learned that they have inspectors that visit from time to time unannounced to audit their work. They arent perfect tho. Got some oil on my inside door material and on the seat, but they cleaned it off.

This Wal-Mart Auto Care center is the only great part of this store.

Service was completed in a timely manner. The price was reasonable.

They advertise $45 for an oil change and made me pay $66 when I came back. The manager was unappoligetic and unsympathetic to my concerns. Plus, dont expect them to vacuum, like they advertise.

Although their center was busy due to the pandemic and he seemed to be the only one, guy who serviced my car was very quick and treated me and every customer as if they were the only person that he was working with. Thank you.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had in my entire life I have had at this Walmart auto care Center. About a year and a half ago I Purchased four new tires for my Toyota sienna minivan. I got them rotated and balanced every 3000 miles. They had a 45,000 mile warranty from the manufacture plus I bought the roadside warranty as well. After a year and a half, only 19,000 Miles on the tires, they were already worn through with no tread left. One of the tires popped. They made me buy all new tires even though they were under warranty and only halfway into the warranty. I was furious but the local auto center attendant nor the manager was willing to help me. I made the mistake of purchasing the replacement tires at that location because they had all the old tires off the vehicle and I would have had to had my vehicle towed to a different location. I bought all new tires with this time a 65,000 mile warranty. I had my attorney write Walmart a letter demanding a refund. Walmart never responded whatsoever to the refund demand. I called and spoke to the store assistant manager and he said he had no idea how to help me and that it was out of his control. Today, only four months after I bought the new tires, one of the tires is damaged. This vehicle only drives around town, never on long trips, and never off road. Walmart is insisting that I purchase all new tires again because it is an all wheel drive vehicle. Therefore if one tire is bad, they make you replace all tires. Only 3000 miles on the tire into a 65,000 mile warranty and I should have to buy another $700 worth of tires only after four months?! Absolutely ridiculous. The general customer service at this location is always horrible. Whenever I drop my vehicle off about 10 minutes after they open, the workers always tell me that they are already way over committed and understaffed, and try to talk me into not leaving my vehicle for service. What a horrible management technique! I leave the vehicle and return about eight hours later to pick up the vehicle every time I drop it off for service. This time I dropped it off and asked them to rotate and balance the tires and fix the one tire that was damaged. They never replaced the tire and never rotated the tires either. When I called and asked when it was ready they said all the work was complete. When I got to the counter and asked what they did to fix the tire, she looked through the report and then told me they did nothing. I asked why they didnt tell me that on the phone. She said she tried to call me four times today. I showed her my phone that no one had called me all day. Absolute horrible experience every time we go there. Save yourself the trouble and never go there ever!!!!!

Every time I try to come here for an oil change I get told they are too busy with 3-4 cars and cant take any more customers. Apparently it takes 5 hours to do 3-4 other oil changes.
