My husband and I went in on a Saturday and found a Jeep we fell in love with. We had driven from Spring Hill to Springfield the preceding 2 days to buy another vehicle, and after almost losing money on a car that was badly misrepresented, we were fearful of our next move. Fortunately, we found the same make & model in significantly better condition at 231 on our way back home, and sent them a message. Although it was after hours, we received a quick response and made arrangements to discuss the car with Dustin the following morning.After the previous experience, I cant say enough positives about Dustin. First and foremost, he was very honest and completely transparent about what he could do to help me. Likewise, he made the entire process as efficient as possible. We drove the hour from Spring Hill to Lebanon with funds in hand, ready to make the deal. He had the car ready to go for a test drive, and made sure that we had the Carfax and the details of what they had done upon receiving the car ready for us to review. After almost getting burned the day before, Dustin wanted us to feel confident in our purchase, so he even through in an extended warranty. Told me vehicle was available, filled out their credit app, got 10 day payoff on my trade per their request. Then Tommy calls and tells me the vehicle was just sold. All of this happened within a matter of 2 hours. The part the bothers me is they ran my credit knowing someone else was in the process of looking at it. When you say it’s available, make sure it’s truly available before you run people’s credit.

I recently purchased an F150 King Ranch. Darrell was my salesman, and he was exceptional ... great service and willingness to help me find exactly what I wanted. After buying the truck, it came a heavy rain, and I noticed a leak. I carried truck back to Darrell, and he went out of his way to help as did others at the dealership. Long story short, they carried my truck to local Ford dealership who replaced moon roof and related seals, etc. This cost dealership approximately $1,000. They never balked at doing the right thing . I will go to them as first choice ... they treated me like family, and I am very grateful and appreciative.

My husband recently bought a truck through them and we were treated with nothing but respect from everyone within the dealership. As someone stated they sell cars as is but its clearly typed in big bold letters on the paper slotted in the window, sorry if you missed that. We had previously worked our finances out through the bank and Dustin made it super easy. We went to check out the truck, decided we wanted it so they put it aside for us. We live over an hour away so he then did all the paperwork through fax and email allowing us to come the next day sign a few papers and drove off the lot within the hour. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Chad at 231 Auto Sales sells vehicles with REBUILT titles without disclosing it to the buyer. Vehicles with REBUILT titles are worth up to 40% LESS than the same car with a CLEAN title. I specifically EXCLUDED rebuilt titled cars from my Craigslist search and the ad for the car came up with no indication it was rebuilt. I would not have even looked at it had I known. Chad told us it had previous “minor” front end damage and there was no rebuilt sticker on the inside of the door when I test drove it to indicate it had a rebuilt title. We agreed to a price (thinking I was buying a car with a CLEAN title) and AFTER he got my $11,000+ cash in his hand, he had me sign the paperwork (LESSON LEARNED – ALWAYS read the contract BEFORE handing over the money). Then literally as we were leaving the lot, he quickly slapped the REBUILT sticker on the inside of the door. We didn’t even realize what had happened until we got home. We called Chad IMMEDIATELY to come up with an agreeable solution to make it right (return the car or refund us the difference in value for the REBUILT titled car – around $3,000). He did talk to me on the phone, but chose to do nothing to resolve the issue. If you deal with Chad at 231 Auto Sales, make sure you look at the title BEFORE you buy the vehicle and do your research on the purchase price and subtract 40% from the fair market value.

I was looking for a used car for my son and found what I thought was good deal on their bargain lot. The car was older and higher mileage but very clean and it appeared to run and drive well during the test drive. Inspecting under the hood, I didnt see any red flags that would indicate an issue. It seemed perfect for a 16 year olds first car so we closed the deal and drove it home. Later that same day, I noticed oil spots on my drive way. I opened the hood and still didnt see anything so I jacked the car up and crawled underneath. That is when my heart sank. There was oil on the back side of the engine block. Not even having had possession of the car for a few hours, I called the salesman, Dustin, and explained what was going on. All I got was sorry, it was sold as is and that I could bring it to their shop but the Id have to pay for any repairs. Now, I realize this was a used, higher mileage car (144,000 miles) and it was sold as is, but I trusted that buying from and established local dealer would give some security in that the car would have been inspected and any major mechanical problems would have been identified and fixed before it was put on the lot for sale. At the very least, I expected any issues that might be present would be disclosed before purchase. Well, I was wrong. Long story short, I was sold a car with a leaking head gasket and Im stuck with a $1100 repair after paying NADA value for the vehicle. If you do decide to purchase a car from this place, take the time and have it thoroughly inspected by a trust worthy mechanic before putting down the money and signing anything. My mistake was taking the word of a local used car salesman that I was buying a solid vehicle.

I purchased a 2002 hyundai santa fe from 231 auto sales in Lebanon in February of this year. Granted, the vehicle had high mileage (186,000 or so) so I expected to have some problems and minor repairs needed. This was the firs time I had ever bought a vehicle (and I told that to the dealer). The asking price for this car as $6000 (i learned later that this was WAAY more than kelley blue book value) and the dealer agreed to give me a great deal of $4500 cash. It was a little much in my mind because I was originally planning on paying $2500 for something that I then would have to put $2000 into. I told the dealer of my fear of having to put money into it and he assured me that that wouldnt happen with this car.Paper work gets signed and everythings hunky dorey for a week. then the problems start. First week, the radiator goes out, then the spark plugs and ignition coils. once I get those things replaced (after two weeks or so) the car starts having lunging problems, turn out its the crankshaft position sensor. then after I save up enough money to get that fixed, I find out that the motor mounts both front and back need to be replaced as well as the Cadillac converter.overall, this dealership has sold me a lemon, and I believe they were aware of this fact when they sold it to me (it was priced high to trick a newbie into thinking they were getting a good deal). I may have been a sucker, but I will do my best to make sure everyone knows what dishonest crooks work at this place. Car was work $2500 at best and because I knew nothing about cars, they took advantage of me.Also, when I called about the issues, the guy told me to take it to THEIR MECHANIC, of course I would have to pay for the repairs, which means they are just selling lemons to people and charging them to fix them. All in all dishonest and crooked people here.My recommendation, STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN.
