Southern Tire is the best!!! Everyone is so nice and professional. Prices are great as well. I was a bit nervous going in because everywhere else said I had to make an appointment to have 2 tires put on. Well Southern Tire had me in and out in 30 minutes. Was on vacation and needed a muffler replacement in a hurry. They were only shop that could squeeze us in fast. Looked at the car the same day and did the service next day once part was available. No one else would even look at it for at least another two or three days. Called a friend who lives in the area for a recommendation and he said they have always been good to him and he didnt steer us wrong. They were very professional, good pricing and accommodating to our situation.

Ive been to this place twice, each visit with a different car, within the last week. Once for tires, and once for a MD inspection. Both visits were superb. Really happy with the service, price, professionalism, honesty and price. Yeah, I said price again. So, I had been looking online for new tires for the last two months. I also get tires at Costco too. But wow. Keep watching their website, a goodyear tire popped up that was too good to be true. I went to store and they said wow. They thought the website was wrong. Nope it was there in the system. So tire manufacturers are changing tire rubber compounds constantly. Once in a while they lower the prices to close out a tire. I got lucky and caught it. They were all gone in a couple of days. So just keep checking website and you might get lucky. They also fixed a problem with my truck that another place couldnt. They were honest and said they would try, but couldnt promise anything. They came through and cost was minimal. I will definitely be back.

Love these guys, they bend over backwards to give good service. I bought new tires, asked for an alignment and they came out and said that I should wait on the alignment until I could get a wheel bearing fixed because it would just go out of alignment quickly.Many places would have just done the alignment and not said anything.Kudos to these guys.

They fixed an issue that the dealership wouldnt make time for me today to even look at it. Then, they told me thst my brakes, which the dealership said need replaced are fine.

I was looking for a tire shop around the area around 8am because I got a flat the night before. A shop across the street was closed so I decided to come here due to necessity. The employee who greeted me was very professional and knowledgeable. He found a tire that could fit my custom wheels and was honest with the sell. Another employee came out and started working on my tire. The negative experience comes from balancing my tires. The weights they put on my wheels looked sloppy and rushed. I was also hoping they would color match them. I had to go back to my tire shop in DC to rebalance my wheel. Second, the rim was scratched up during the process of the replacement. So, my black rim has multiple bare metal spots. Not the most attention to detail shop but it got the job done.

New to the area, good reviews so I gave them a shot.Great customer service; Sean was very helpful and stayed in constant contact/updates. They managed to inspect and service both of my cars very quickly, without an appointment. And kudos to the mechanics, their attention to detail and quality work, as they got my cars running better than they have for a long time.Very happy I didnt have to go through another horror story with a new mechanic shop, and I will definitely be using them again for all of my vehicles needs. I routinely use Southern Tire for my auto service and have done so for over a decade. Their work has always been fairly priced and thorough. They honestly assess the need for repairs or service. Its hard to find an auto shop that you trust. Ive been using Southern Tire for a long time because I found that in their shop.

Just under an hour for a set of four tires ... with no appointment. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ll be back to get my rear drum brakes replaced, with parts I bought on amazon. Very friendly, even when I freaked out discovering ball joint was bad. They explained options. Prices are right. But service cant be matched. My aging Jeep will only go to them from on. So friendly. So nice. So understanding.

I found Southern Tire about 12 years ago. They are honest and do great work. When I discovered how straight forward and honest they were, I stuck with them. I have never been disappointed. When you find an honest business...stick with them.

Would definitely recommend this shop and will return. I came in for the first time to get a four wheel alignment on a new used car that was pulling to the right. I wasnt 100% sure it was the alignment, because I didnt know the full history of the vehicle.I was a bit late for my appointment, so they put someone ahead of me. That was no problem for me, and it was nice that they let me know so I could run a couple errands and return in an hour instead of sitting around. They were extremely busy on a Wednesday morning, which is a good sign, and they handled the business well.They only had to make slight adjustments, and re-center the steering wheel. They said the car was still pulling, and suggested it was radial pull from a defect in the tires. They offered to rotate the tires at no extra charge. Best part was that they didnt even offer to sell me new tires (they were still new, but some cheap Chinese brand put on by the previous owner, which I would never choose.) I didnt have the money to purchase tires at the time, but will definitely return here when its time to do so.The guy at the desk was extremely friendly and informative. They dont pressure you and really make you feel comfortable. They dont talk down to you or try to sell a bunch of services to you like other chain auto shops. I printed out a coupon for the alignment, but they automatically applied it to the bill! Turns out they just apply promotions they are running automatically. Thats a very nice touch, and will save me a trip to the library next time (I have no printer.)The issue has been corrected and my car feels so much better drive. Im very happy with my service here and am looking forward to returning.Id say the only negative point is that you cant really pop in here and expect them to service your car quickly without an appointment. But thats because theyve seemed to earn great popularity, so thats hardly a negative.

Very efficient, friendly and trustworthy. They do not try to heap on unneeded or early repairs like many of their competitors, but they do make it a point to give you good advise on what maintenance you really need, or could expect in the near future. This is the first time we have gone to them with a tire repair, we will be going back in the future for tires and other maintenance as well.

Just left from Southern Tire and once again they got me taken care of. They put new tires on my 5th wheel trailer in less than an hour and as always Shawn treated me like his only customer and his long time friend! I recommend anyone go see them! Truly Proud Professionals!

Made an appointment for state inspection. Friendly people, and the job was done quickly. The waiting area is pretty old and dated, like an old school mechanic shop, so what one might expect. Not the cleanest but not filthy. Overall, I was satisfied. My car shop doesnt do inspections, why I went here. But I would c9nsider here if I d8dnt have a car place already.

On June 11, I experienced a flat. I went to the near by Tiere Plus and Mr Tire in California Md. at 7pm. They both close at 8pm. When asked if they could repair my tire, they said no. I was appalled at the reaction as neither of the places were busy, folks smoking and yappin. Therefore I went to Southern Tire the following morning. I have serviced all my tires for my vehicles since I moved here in 1995. They not only repaired my true, they didn’t charge me. These guys are great and understand customer service. Was very disappointed in having to wait 40 minutes for a simple oil change after calling to schedule an appointment. There were four guys standing at the counter, yet, not one of them could be bothered to tell me my car was ready. There was no mention on the report or verbally about the brake check that I requested. Also, I had to tolerate a scrunge ball man bothering me in the waiting area. Neither my husband nor I will be returning.

I’ve been going to Southern Tire since I had my permit at 16 years old. I always call the shop Seans’s out of habit lol. They are always honest, never manipulative and won’t try to cheat me. As a young female, I never feel like I’m being played and they all help me out so well. Bobby and mike are always so helpful as well. Mike called all over the county to look for an AC part for my car and even though it wasn’t found locally, he ordered it and it was delivered the next day. I recommend them to everyone who asks me. DO NOT GET INSPECTIONS HERE!!! I had caught them red handed slicing my cv axle boot with a razor. They are extremly lucky i did not show back up with a state trooper, ONLY because the boot itself was the only evidence i had and it just would not have been worth all the trouble. I had recently had the boot inspected by a Pennsylvania state inspector in which he confirmed that the boot had been cut too. I really hope people read this and find this helpfull instead! MONEY HUNGRY FOOLS

My experience has been that theyre always professional, great communication and dont charge for every unnecessary check that most other shops and dealers would charge for.

WOW,WOW,WOW!! Not sure where to begin...I️ walked in for the first time and was immediately greeted by the staff, however Sean assisted me with my concerns. I️ explained to Sean that before my husban, Lee Colon left on military duties he had taken my car to a local place to patch one of my tires and was charged 50 dollars minus the 10% military discount. However, the problem was not resolved so that is when I️ decided to stop at the Southern Tire Lex. Sean was so professional and sooooo helpful. For the first time I️ felt respected and was not taken advantage just because I️ was a “WOMAN”. Sean, let me know that he did not find anything wrong with the tire, and that he CHECKED all four tires and they were fine. So not only did he assisted me with my concern but he check all four of my tires and did not charge me a DIME!!!! He told me to call the shop if I️ have any problems and advise me that I️ have about 5 thousand miles to go before replacing all four tires. However, I️ already knew that, because my husband has been shopping around for new tires. So again, Sean was not trying to sell me anything that I️ didn’t already know....Thank you!!! Not only will I️ go back to see Sean and staff for all four new tires for my car and my husbands car but all future businesses. Shawn Quaid is a fraud! Worst customer service experience in my life! This guy called me up after I left a review on the BBB, yelled at me on the phone, wouldnt let me speak and hung up. These incompetent fools didnt know how to start a jaguar. I took it down to Tires Plus, they started it right up and I got the work I needed done.DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE!! I got two different stories on how they couldnt even start my car. First, one guy said 6 of them tried starting it and the key just spun and spun around. Then Shawn Quaid the manager said it went in and just got stuck. I told him there was a certain way to start the car with the grooves facing down but he wouldnt listen. COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT AND RUDE!
