Rented a car over 2 months ago and haven’t received my security deposit back. The manager claims they have no more checks and he is waiting for them in the mail for 2 months. Whenever I call they don’t answer. Very very poor customer service I’m surprised this place isn’t shut down. There cars are filthy, we rented a car for 1 week and within the first 2 days we had to switch out of 3 cars because they weren’t running right and they were dirty.

This has got to be the worst place to rent vehicles. Bullet holes, exposed thread on tires, dents everywhere, can’t let the gas tank get below the quarter tank mark, or it’s going to stall out. Yet, they are the most expensive place to rent a car. To top it off, the worst customer service known to man. The owner will try to swindle you out of your deposit, especially if you’re young or if you are a female. He has very poor customer service skills, and if you catch him in a lie, he gets belligerent. A safety inspector need to come over and inspect those vehicles before someone get seriously injured or worse. Words to live by, stay away from A to Z.

Worst place ever! I called to asked how the whole MD inspection operates with tints and they hung up on me! Not to mention they told a relative all their rentals are dirty!

I took my Honda Accord Ex to A-Z Automotive & was the worse mistake ever! I paid $75 for a Maryland State Inspection & he failed me for a brake pedal pad being worn & the front rotors, witch both I replaced because I agreed to them needing be replaced. But he also failed me for Aftermarket Headlights, witch we come to find out that are DOT witch it says right on the headlights, he failed to look them up or look further into it. We took our car to Dads Garage in Owings, & he passed the car & actually took time to look into the headlights & told us the headlights are DOT approved. & at Dads Garage with it being Christmas we paid 59.54 for our Inspection & it passed!

This business is really bad service and NOT honest with customer, you should always stay away AT ANY COST. I brought my Honda Minivan 07 for diagnostic about the key stuck when turning off the engine and at the park position. They charged 116$ for this diagnostic with the transmission shift cable issue. They said they order the parts from nearby Honda Dealer (make more sense for me, closest one should be in Waldorf). I kept waiting for the whole day, they never called me back until I called them. They said they still were waiting for the Honda dealer to call them back (it is a lie since they never call the Honda dealer, otherwise, they know the part number already). I got mad, then I call the Honda dealer right after talking with them, the Honda gave me the part number right away. The next thing I will do to order the part and bring this part to their shop to replace the bad shift cable and hope for the right fix. If it does not work, they could blame on me with wrong part number from Honda dealer because the last conversion with the technician guy, he told me there are many different version of this cable. It is a lie since I google up online for my Honda Odyssey 2007 part, there is only one part number. They might not do any diagnostic work but guessing the issue and charge your money. Let see what they will say when I order the part for replacement in the next step.

HIGHLY recommend that customers steer clear of these crooks. Took my sons car here for an inspection. They called me and quoted me a price for repairs, seemed reasonable so I told them to move forward. Never heard from them and had to call back to find out status of repairs only to find out that they were already done. Go to pick the car up and the total is way more than what was quoted due to a part being obsolete. They never called to get approval for the higher cost and moved forward with the repairs anyways. When we told them that we did not approve this, it didnt matter to them since they said that they left us a voicemail, we never returned their call, and they couldnt leave the car in the air. Mind you we never received a voicemail but verified that they had the correct number. When we asked to speak to the owner we were denied because he was on vacation. They absolutely would not work with us on their decision to spend our money without our permission.Oh and you have to pay in cash or pay an insane service fee (the amount of the fee depends on the cost of your repair). They all but refused to accept our credit card and kept saying You can go to the ATM right next door at PNC to get the cash. Sounds like they dont want a paper trail of the money they receive.A to Z ... no thanks! I will never come back not even for Hertz and will definitely not recommend to anyone.

I call to make a apoinment for car inspección and the customer service guy that answer me was very rude and just because i ask what info they need to make the apoinment, this is my first making a car inspección apoinment, so as you can imagine i dont know what info i have to give, i tho customer service was for service not for rude answering, not calcina them again

A-to-Z has only disappointed me with their service. I have had both car service and car rental experience with them. Both times I was treated with a negative attitude and I really did not appreciate the service. The owner, Z, was very rude upon his initial greeting. When he noticed that I was getting upset after his bad attempt of starting a transaction, he tried to butter me up with some humor. I still did not appreciate this considering that he found out that he messed up and tried to cover it up with humor, instead of actually fixingout the problem. I still find that the prices are a bit high, and they do not seem to care about the customer. Almost all of the staff there have a very nasty tone whenever you speak with them, and don’t seem to really want to fully explain something other than “it’s on the screen, so that’s what it means”.From a rental standpoint, I rented the most expensive vehicle that they have, the Yukon XL. Overall it’s a decent vehicle, but when I got into it it smelled like smoke, had visible signs of cigarette burns, and was not thoroughly cleaned up before I got the keys. I will say that it was in good mechanical shape though.I will never bring my vehicles or refer anyone to this place based on the lack of customer service knowledge, and fees and policies that seem to be implied solely for making extra money.

I rented a car through Hertz at this place and it took almost an hour for them to rent me a car that I had already reserved. These people are nothing but cons, they charged me a $100 deposit that I had to call back after 2 weeks of not receiving it. I left a message for the rental person (they have other businesses at this place) and he didn’t even call back, then I forgot and called a week later. The owner gave me a hard time saying it was too early for him (9:00 am) and the car was a mess when It was turned in and with no gas in it! Please, we turned it in to the people there before the drop off deadline and never said a word about it until I called. So he said that would be a $40 charge and supposedly he would reimburse me $60. Obviously he refused to give me my $100 deposit. I’m still waiting for my money back. I will never use this place again.

Looked at our brakes didnt do anything to them, said every thing was good. The light still comes on and charged us 50 some dollars. Dont take your car here!

This place is over priced!! Told them i would take my car back. The next day I went to do the job myself and they left my wires laying on my exhaust so they burnt up and I can see they tried to do some janky work anyway. Highly unrecommended.
