I met Kevin today after an extremely poor service experience at a competitor in Winston-Salem. After a recommendation I made the trip to Lexington and I couldnt be happier I did. Kevin immediately greeted me, asked what my needs were, guided me to the great selection and advised me on what made his company a great choice. I ended up with a nicer appliance choice and better pricing. My needs were met with a smile and great service and my appliances will be delivered tomorrow. I purchased a beautiful white refrigerator from A& K even got a good deal. But after it was delivered I noticed my fridge handle was pulling away from door. I called A&K back and told them issue I found. Kevin said can your husband not fix it, really??? I have a warranty and your delivery guys messed but my husband should fix? It has now been 3 days with no return call or no-one come to fix. My husband is now fixing and they have stripped screws in it. They were really nice and gave a great deal but make sure you check Everything before they leave your house cause Im afraid their not gonna help us even with warranty. Wow!

Kevin was nice, polite and the appliance we purchased, though used, was in good working condition. Delivery guys were reasonable and fast.

We grabbed a fridge for the house. They were nice and prices were reasonable as the fridges actually looked pretty good. I gave a 4 star because they tried to get over on us with a few things. First, they were suppose to deliver the fridge on a certain day. So I called them in the midst of moving for some odd reason.. can’t remember.. but the guy exact words were “I was going to call you tomorrow evening (Thursday) to tell you we are closing early on Friday so we can’t deliver it during that time you requested.” I was fine with that.. I asked if they could deliver it early Friday morning then and he said no. The thing about that is that it was a holiday weekend so im not going 5 days without a fridge when I got things I’ve moved into my house that need the fridge. So we had to go pick this up which was a major inconvenience for us but we did not complain. So after getting home to connect the fridge and turning the water on we noticed water flowing all over our floors… I inspect the fridge and there’s something broken in the back.. LOOKS LIKE A MINOR FIX. So I call the guy and ask them about the warranty and told him it’s broken and we are just getting home to notice it. They tell us it’s not covered under warranty. My niceness was slowly deteriorating because 1. We just left y’all and 2. y’all loaded the truck for us so you know that it did not move and the fridge wasn’t facing nothing where that could break. Long story short, they actually got the guy to come out to fix it at no charge. In all honesty they are really nice people. It’s just the late notice of not delivering was a “no no”. I should’ve got a heads up prior to me calling and way before the day that it was suppose to be delivered.

Purchased a Samsung washer from a & k appliance, my wife & daughter had to run the sanitizer cycle 2-times & the pure cycle 2- times, we went in & talked to kevin & he said he thought it was the water pump & the service guy would call & come out & fix it, still waiting on the phone call but according to a guy on YouTube he has to tear his Samsung apart every 18 months, well learned our lesson the hard way Samsung appliances aren’t good at all, the laundry came out dirty, looked like fish tank gravel was underneath the stainless steel drum.

I bought a stove and fridge from them. After 4 months my oven stopped working. Then my fridge stopped cooling only after 6 months. I paid $749 for the fridge not including taxes and other fees they charged. I’m highly disappointed and then I asked to have someone come out to repair and they said they couldn’t cause of covid which is understandable. But it’s no reason I should have had those problems so soon after paying so much money!!! I would never buy from them again, EVER!!!

I purchased a refrigerator from this place less than 6 months ago. At first (3 months ago) the ice maker stopped working, now, the actual refrigerator is not cooling. I attempted to reach out to schedule a service.The gag is...they said the don’t work on appliances. I was baffled that they sale used appliances, but not service them.So I called the number provided to me from them for a repair man....only to discover I was given the wrong number.I would not recommend. I spent $700 on fridge...and I’m frustrated that I feel like I’m going to spend more on repairs and/or replacement and it didn’t make it 6 months.

He really went out of his way to helps us out with our washer and dryer. He gave us a really good price and the product works like new. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! I purchased a range from them which I paid in full and explained I would be picking up on a later date. When I came to pick up the range the man at the front desk explained, Oh, we sold that to someone else who paid us more $$. My jaw hit the floor, did I hear you correctly? It wasnt theirs to sell. Thats theft and is illegal. They never even called me to let me know. Then I had to deal with the owner (Hector Garcia) who was extremely difficult to refund my $. He was coming up with every excuse not to pay me. He questioned if I knew how to run a business, which is laughable considering they are double selling appliances and have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! A red flag should have been their policy to not give refunds if there are issues with your purchase, only store credit. The store looks awful inside and out, and the employees are no better. Wouldnt expect to see them in business in 2 years. Deserve negative stars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I needed a dryer after mine broke. From the first phone call when I checked to see what kind of inventory they had, until we received a follow up service on the used dryer we purchased, I have had a great experience. Hector was very helpful and very friendly. He did not try to sell us something we didn’t want or didn’t need. On top of that, after the dryer was installed, we heard some squeaking. But we called back and they sent out a technician the next day who repaired the problem and Took very good care of us.

Disappointed my dryer not working already just bought it less than 2 months. Only had 30 days. Now going to charge to fixs it. So disappointed.

They said everything was tested. Got a Whirlpool refrigerator the week of Thanksgiving with a 30 day warranty. The ice maker worked a couple of days then it quit working. Called for repair and was told they dont cover ice maker or water lines. So much for the warranty... Buyers beware...

Good appliances at great prices

I bought a washer/dryer set from this place. My husband and I got a truck and took my old washer/dryer set to this place for a credit towards my purchase of my new washer/dryer set. I get my washer/dryer set home and my washer starts to leak. My husband then Went back to A&K Appliances. The guy gives my husband a new set of hoses. My husband hooks it up and all is well.Day 14 my dryer quits. It starts making an awful noise, won’t spin and smells like it is burning. I call A&K Appliances. They worked quickly to get my dryer working again. He said it would take longer than a day to fix so he replaced it so I wouldn’t have to go any longer without a dryer! The new dryer came with a new warranty as well. I was very happy with the customer service! I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

Wanted me to pay $35 for a service repair guy to come fix a dryer that didnt work when they delivered it.then a few months later the washer went out after it wasnt it didnt spin automatically. This place is a rip off.save your money unless you like buying scrap metal.

Best place to buy Forniture and save money

I Fell in love with this place, at first sight the place seems sketchy but, the service was great, I was attended by Hector, he sold me a washer and dryer a few months back, and they’re still going strong today, i have had no problems with the machines. I also went back last week to buy a fridge, I was given a great deal, overall my experiences at A&K Appliances were awesome.

Sold me a bad washer. Within that same week that I purchased it, it broke. The tech came and couldnt fix it so I got it exchanged. with in that same week I got it exchanged the washer started leaking....the owner wanted to charge me still and after the tech came to fix the second washer it still does not work.....in all I would of been better off buying a new one then having to deal with all this.....

I bought a used refrigerator from this store. They delivered two days late after avoiding phone calls and on Christmas Eve. I was just happy to get a fridge. They claimed it had a 30 day warranty. It died within 2 weeks. The owner just avoided my phone calls. Terrible business with terrible reviews. Get it together or shut it down!

Bought a refrigerator from here $280 it stopped getting cold charged me $35 for him to come out and fix it a month later as in 3days ago it stopped getting cold again I called and explained the situation as it is the 2nd time it’s broke he cuts me off and says he’s not going to help because I posted a bad review after he tried to help my wife (I don’t have a wife and clearly this is my first review) told him he has the wrong person told me to send copy of receipt and he’ll see what he can do here it is day 2 without a fridge no phone calls no one showed up terrible service they just want your money would not recommend at all worst appliance store I’ve delt with in Lexington N.C. and I’ve delt with pretty bad appliance stores such as appliance king and Walters.. very unhappy about $200 worth of food has now gone bad due to being so inconsiderate and not worry about their customer service!!!!!
