She was friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable about not only her own property, but also about Public Storage, i.e., their policies and requirements. Pleasant atmosphere.....

Kathy is a great and heart felt woman. She was patient with my needs and did not rush my process of getting my unit. Even on a wet and rainy day she took tome to walk me to my unit and show me my space. She also showed me extra products that were needed for my mattress so that my items would not be destroyed in my unit from dust and bugs. I give 5 stars and more for her customer service and out going personality.

I worked with Melissa who set me up and was able to see me through the move in and vacating process. I was a college grad en route to Charlotte from Greensboro for a new job and was able find an easy fairly inexpensive unit at this Lexington location. Really easy and would definitely recommend this location. My unit was clean and access to it is easy. FYI, buy the anti moisture stuff they recommend. It completely works and kept my stuff in tact.

I called Wednesday for pricing and talked with Kathy the property manager at the N Main St Lexington NC location. Kathy was very knowledgeable about location, what size I needed and prices. I went to the location today and again again talked with Kathy. She was very nice and personable. She took me around and showed me 3 units before I decided on the 1 I wanted. During the process Kathy was very helpful and answered all my questions and gave me other information regarding locks and insurance. I received instructions on how to enter and leave the facility as well as contact information. I was impressed with the cleanliness and organization in the office and was very impressed with Kathy. Ms. Kathy was very sweet. But when she told me things from outside like SPIDERS could get into the unit she was not specific concerning the ROACHES. All of my things clothes shoes TVs washing machine dryer everything except for my dishes got ruined. Thousands of roaches. And I mean thousands. I didn’t see anything the day that I got my unit it looked pretty clean. One day I went to get 2 pairs of clothing and I could not believe how many roaches were in the unit they were falling from the ceiling when I opened the door. I’ve never had to deal with roaches ever in my 34 years of life. I was devastated. I shook off the clothes put them in my car and left. The next day I got in my car and there was a big roach I tryed to kill it but it ran so I went to vacuum my car. I called them so that I could get a discount bc I knew I wasn’t going to take all of my things just the small things and they said I have to pay my bill plus late fee and it wasn’t there problem. The lady on the phone wasn’t ms. Kathy it was another woman she told me to go get roach bombs and set them off. I will never go back there. Very poor service. They are money hungry and really could careless about the customers.

Kathy helped me select the right size storage unit considering the furniture that I would be moving into the unit. She helped me actually select a smaller storage unit than I had blindly initially requested, saving me nearly $20 a month. I believe most people would take advantage of my initial decision to get the largest unit on the property, but she definitely looked out for me in that aspect and suggested I get a smaller one. She also helped me select the proper materials I would need for my move (boxes, tape, wrap, paper for glassware, etc). It was very convenient to have all of those materials at Public Storage. I definitely appreciated Kathys help and kindness during a very busy week of moving!
