I had taken my dads van here to get the alternator fixed, and to get a bulb for the back brake light. I went to pick the van up after it was done, and his van has more issues now than what it did before. The muffler was broke and dragging, I also have a heavy gas leak as well. When I dropped the car off it was over full on gas, when I picked it up not even 24 hours later it, the needle was on the line before the F. My gut instinct (which has never steered me wrong), tells me if you are the same skin color he is, they will do superb work on your car. If you are African American, just save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

We were heading to Kentucky on vacation from Michigan. I was towing our 28’ travel trailer when the muffler failed on our 2007 Dodge Ram. Called Marty at Rainbow and he got us in and out within two hours during a busy, midday Wednesday. Great service and very friendly. Couldn’t be happier with the quality of work and professionalism of his shop/employees. Thanks Marty.

Has decent service. Every one is friendly. But I dont go there much for work cause to get one break and rotar changed they wanted to charge me 250 bucks. We were able to buy a set of breaks and 2 rotors for 115 and have. Friend show us how to put them on. There oil changes are a fair price though

Got a decent estimate and nice guy on the phone, however they were completely deserted on an open day. I called every 30 mins and nobody ever showed up from 8am-1pm on Saturday July 25th 2020.

Marty and the guys are awesome! They took us in right before closing and had us fixed up and on the road in no time. They do quality work at a fair price.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Had a serpentine belt/AC compressor issue which got looked at and diagnosed.No charge for the inspection.Opted to not get it fixed but still some excellent people and service.Stay away from the big chain shops and head straight here. They do much more than mufflers; a full service shop.

Amazing work. Had my car looked at by three different people and was told it could be sooo many different things. Bit the bullet and when to a shop instead of a backyard and they had it figured out and fixed in less than five minutes AND cleared the check engine light.... All for NO CHARGE!!! I wish I had listened to the people who recommended them to me in the first place, because I already paid about $100 to fix something that didnt even need to be fixed and did nothing to correct the problem that rainbow corrected for free!

They did a great job fixing my brakes s few years ago, and then my daughters brakes a few weeks ago. Quick and timely service.

Truck developed a charging problem while driving back to Michigan.Had to overnight in Lima. Asked the front desk for a recommendation and they said Rainbow Muffler. I called and spoke to Marty who told me to stop at one of the auto parts places to get my system checked first. However, at that store they said they could not test my system. Drove it to Rainbow and they tested my system and found I had a bad alternator. Marty suggested to go and buy the alternator on my own and then that way if it failed I would have a warranty on it since I was from out of town.When I went to leave to back to the auto parts store my truck died. Marty gave me a loaner car to go get the parts and bring them back to the shop so they could install them.Marty and his crew got me out in less than an hour for really fair price. I cant thank them enough.

Awesome service quick and painless. I had an alternator changed in one hour flat they charged me the 60 dollar an hour fee for the labor and that was that they even let me buy my own part. Highly recommend this place

Honest but rather blunt. Still hard to find good mechanics.

I get my oil changed everytime its due, they are very nice, and fast!

My husband and I both took our cars in for oil changes after the change oil soon warning came on in our cars. Both warnings continued to come on in both cars. They never changed the oil! Never going back to this place again!

I was very happy with my experience at rainbow muffler in Lima! My car had a rusty exhaust that got a hole, then the hole blew out even bigger... It sounded terrible. Rainbow muffler got my car on a lift inspected, removed the rusted out pipe and resonator, and replaced it with a custom piece of tubing cut right in front of me to fit exactly. Their tech welded it in and I made it back to work on time. Did I mention I was only on my hour lunch break? Very quick, convenient, and I am happy with their work! Plus a 1 year warranty :)
