This pharmacy has gotten worse and worse over the years. I dropped off my moms prescription at 2:30 after she got out of surgery, at first they couldn’t find her in the system (she’s been getting her prescription filled at this Walgreens for over 20 years, she used to be a pharmacy tech here + I used to work at Walgreens when I was 16 years old), fast forward 4 hours later her prescription is still not filled and she needs these prescriptions to deal with her pain from her surgery! Absolute worse pharmacy either and I will be changing her prescriptions to elsewhere.
On Friday sept 17 my husband had an appointment for the 3rd COVID vaccine at 2:15pm. He arrived 15 minutes earlier to fill out any paperwork. There were 3 people in front of him. So this people got there vaccine and my husband kept waiting. He told them originally that he has a kidney transplant 6 months ago so they need his situation. He continued waiting and no one called. Finally he asked them after waiting more the 45 minutes. They told him he had to waiting so he decided to leave because he got tire of waiting. They did not even ask him to stay so the girl gave him the vaccine card and he left. There was no one there so they couldn’t have taken care of him. Worse experience ever. Will not go there again

The Indian Female which is the so called manager should be listed in the “worst manager category”. She is rude and obnoxious. I will never go there again. She needs to be Terminated. No help at all
Worst Pharmacy experienceAfter arriving last Monday around 8.30 PM to pick up 2 prescriptions for my wife, was informed that there was none.One was a refill that should be ready few days earlier (my wife got few messages days prior)The other was from a Doctor call 2&1/2 hours earlier.They couldn’t find either one.I was asked to wait on the side and I did wait patiently for about 45 minutes.Finally I got the medicines and were given to me without a smile or not even a I’m sorry or thank you.I made a stink and left angry.Folks, stay away from that pharmacy.Stick to CVS.
Pharmacy always has a long line and never moves
I had an appointment for a rapid PCR test for COVID-19 via drive through. Unfortunately, upon arrival at my scheduled 4:30pm appointment, there was a long wait of roughly ~5-10 minutes per car, leading me to be unable to get to the window for testing until 5:09pm.When I arrived at the pharmacists window in the drive through, the pharmacist did not look at me or use his mic to acknowledge me. I awkwardly showed my confirmation for my appointment. He then proceeded to let me know they stop every day at 5PM ET (nowhere on their website or on the appointment email says this) and that theyve already started cleaning the machine for testing and taking it down so – meaning they arent taking any more.Its the day before Christmas Eve. I told him I had a trip that required this specific kind of test to be able. As I was in tears, trying to understand if there was any way to make this happen, the man didnt say goodbye, or Im sorry, or anything. He just turned his mic off and was on his merry way while not glancing at me again through the glass.The least Walgreens can do is include the window closing time (regardless of appointment) in the confirmation email or on their website. The confirmation email only says to come 5 minutes early. It was ridiculous and a particularly callous transaction.I would NOT recommend testing here unless you get an early appointment, and even then, dont expect any civil social interaction or basic customer service.
Perfect location has everything you need
25 minutes!!!!!! Twenty five minutes people and the WORST of it is I called for the pharmacy only for NO ONE to ever pick up the line literally only let it ring pick it up then put it on hold not even to say goodnight can you please hold just simple pick up and put me on hold with no form of mannerisms smh. I literally only wanted to check if I had a refill on my medication but I will wait until tomorrow to go to my local Walgreens on 1st Ave because this one was absolutely terrible! I eventually hung up out of frustration. Totally in disbelief I waited so long for no one to answer
Prices are high, selection low. They have dividers at checkout.
Do not set this location for your Fedex or other deliveries. I lost my package worth $200 here and asked me to come back next week to talk their store manager Mussiah. Not really the customer support I expected :(

Convenient access from Route 35. Pretty well stocked. Rahway location does not have a 24 hour pharmacy. Linden does have full 24 hour pharmacy.
I had a very good experience in the cosmetic department the lady that works there her name is Daisy she is very knowledgeable and good at what she does I highly recommend her for all your makeup tips and skin care💄👏☺

African American lady with glasses needs to learn how to multitask!!! I came this morning before taking my daughter to school and all she had to do was passport pictures. Made me wait like 20 minutes!! All I wanted was lose 5x7 envelopes because the ones on the isle were too small. And she could not help me with that she said she could not sell me lose envelopes.
I appreciate Rays customer service, was very helpful and kind. He helped me at the photo department and also helped me at the front register great kid !
The pharmacy department is amazing! My gf woke up this morning in excruciating pain from an ear infection and because of the holiday cvs pharmacy was closed... unfortunately her doctor already sent the script out and even though she switched it to Walgreens it would of took a day for it to be covered by insurance. Thankfully the pharmacist seen how stressed I was so she made some calls and made it happen ! Im extremely grateful for them she’s doing so much better. We are both switching our pharmacies to them
This Walgreens location is the absolute worst and should have new management. The pharmacy department is disgusting and a bunch of idiots that need to go back to school and be re-trained. I will never ever get another prescription filled or refilled at this horrible place.
Pharmacist Daniel has even no idea what he is doing yet he needs to be trained awful costumer service and extremely rude pharmacist who doesnt even know how to check the prescription status!
Stay away -- maybe even try another Walgreens. Dont fill your prescriptions here. They need competent management. Wish I could post with NO (0) stars.
Used to be ok but its gone downhill in recent years. I always have some sort of nonsense issue when trying to pick up my prescriptions. Out of stock, calling my paper rx expired because of my doctors poor handwriting of the year, refusing to accept my coupon even though Ive used it there as well as other pharmacies several times. Always a long line at the pharmacy section during normal hours. Also the prescriptions listed on the website do not update properly. On top of that the regular cashiers tend to be awkward or just plain rude. Im done with this place. The CVS at St George & Stiles is much better.

Customer service is the worst service I have ever received in my life. The pharmacy has no prescription control and the worst is that they call to pick up medical prescriptions that are ready and when I go to the window, they inform me that the prescriptions is not ready and they are not in process.
Staff definitely needs adequate training on bias discrimination towards minorities, please dont put them behind the counter if theyre not mature enough to deal with grown individuals needs or issues, and neither should they get access to our sensitive information. Thank you.
This is pretty bad. The store is a mess. And I cannot put my finger on why, but is feels a like an accident waiting to happen. There are so many better options in the area.

Rude and inconsiderate staff. My doctor sent a script and its like pulling teeth to get a solution to my problem because they havent received it. My doctor sent it twice as a result. If they didnt make me feel like I was bothering them and werent paid to help me than I wouldnt be so annoyed. After my script is filled (if its ever filled) Ill never pull into that places parking lot again...

The a rip off charge me $11.99 for 30ct over the counter iron pill because my insurance dont cover it but the same brand same mg and you get 120ct for $8.29 so they where trying to make $47.96 off of a $9.00 pills if I kept refilling smh and my bottle said I was suppose to get 90ct and the only gave me 30ct smh

Up until today I would spend roughly 5k per year between my family and I at the Walgreens on the corner of St. George and Wood Ave but they wont get another cent out of us. This place is terrible. Unorganized and unpredictable . The photo department, it is a nightmare in itself. They have machines that dont print with no signs indicating that they dont print. Which was a waste of more than an hour of my time. I asked the guy to ask a manager for help and they said the manager knows nothing about photo and it is only them. Unaccountable, incompetent, and lazy employees. (Except the African American woman with glasses that goes to union county college)
It says its a 24 hour pharmacy. Went there at 4 in the morning and nobody answered their phone there was nobody at the drive thru the door was locked
