Great products. Very well designed and precision made. Also appear to be ready to last a long time. I got the 3 inch drop hitch in aluminum. I like how easy it is to take off the plate and store everything but leave the revived in. I really like how all the accessories and main lock all take the same key. I ordered the pad locks later but by providing the code I’m good with one key still. Nice.

Super high quality hitch. The convenience and safety of this hitch leaves others in the dust. The 3 shank means no adapter to use with my Super Duty and the built-in scale helps to load the trailer properly for great, sway-free towing. Having the coupler lock, padlock and receiver pin lock all keyed alike is icing on the cake. Great product for a good price.

A fantastically thought out and well-engineered product! Hitch height changes and ball size changes take only seconds and dont require any tools. Towing safety is dramatically improved with the integrated weigh scale since there is no more guessing on tongue weight. The aluminum and stainless construction help this hitch look great for a long time and also cut down on grounding problems due to corrosion. There really is no other equivalent hitch system out there!

This is one tough hitch! I wanted a hitch that provided me with the feedback I needed to ensure I was towing safely. The Weight Safe Hitch tells me exactly how much tough weight I have! The hitch is very reasonable and because it is aluminum it wont break your wrist when you are trying to install it. I opted for the Cerakote finish which took an extra week. It is a VERY though finish and I would also recommend it. The ability to order the locking pieces keyed the same is genius and adds to the appeal of this hitch solution. All the parts and pieces appear to be well made and I have had zero issues in the past two months of using it.

Great product...and Ive had every type of hitch, slide, and ball setup you can imagine over the years. I LOVE the aluminum hitch along with the color options. I need only when key to lock it up or adjust the ball height...and can quickly switch ball sizes. Their website quoted a 2 week delivery time...I called and spoke with a rep as my boating trip was scheduled for that weekend...I was promised AND RECEIVED the product within 4 days...in perfect time for my trip. Great hitch design,great quality. Very heavy because of its quality build. The built in scale is a game changer. I tow a 29 toy hauler and depending on trip,I will go from hauling a lifted Club Car that weighs around 550-600lbs,to hauling a 2500lb lifted Polaris Ranger XP1000 High Lifter Edition. Being able to fine tune the hitch has made a massive difference in towing performance. Why 4 stars? The packing and shipping for this hitch is sub par. Due to its weight they break it up into separate boxes which is a good idea. However, during shipping the handling is harsh. Packing 150lb hitch LOOSELY into a single ply cardboard box without peanuts, expandable foam,extra cardboard blocks or scraps is cheap and ineffective. I was super excited to receive my hitch. Two packages shipped...turned into the first one showing up late by 2 days and the second one showed up over a week later. When I was handed the box...it looked like it was shipped to Iraq and back. It was so bad the shipping company had to RE-BOX the hitch because of the damage it took during transit. Spending $1600 on a hitch and accessories isnt a drop in the bucket for most folks. I was furious!!! I didnt bother opening it until I took pictures. Once I opened the boxes. The hitch had damage all over it, scratches,dings and dents and the big bolt threads and nuts that hold the sway bar recepticales were literally scraped down like it was drug through the street. I cant put full blame on shipping company even though they did the most damage. How a product is packed and boxed is important. My first thought was...is the scale accuracy compromised? Upon further inspection I found that one of the recepticales was squashed and didnt allow the sway bar to engage. At this point Im asking myself why did I even bother buying this hitch? I contacted Weighsafe...this is where the story takes a turn for the better. They quickly resolved the issue by offering multiple options. I was compensated very generously and even had replacement parts sent out free of charge. We shared concerns over how the packaging could be improved for their products. In summary great hitch with even better customer support and service!!

Weigh Safe is a great company with a great product with even better customer support. I had a non typical setup and had lots of questions. Their technical people worked out with me everything I needed for my application. Install was easy and using their custom app was even easier. Best part of the whole deal is how well my truck and trailer go down the road now. I went from white knuckle driving to relaxed and steady. I would have never believed a device like this could do what it does for towing. It all but eliminated my sway, raised my truck back up and now I know for a fact what I have for tongue weight. I honestly cant say enough good about everyone I worked with there and their products. Great quality, no missing parts and the product does what they say it will do. What more can you ask for?

Perfect hitch for my boat and box trailer. I had an accident in the past using another brand hitch and unevenly loaded trailer. Now I know if the trailer is loaded correctly. No more guessing. I liked the keyed alike option so I have only 1 key to keep. They send 4 keys all the same so I have spares in case I lose one. This purchase was my second Weigh Safe Hitch. Love it!

The hitch arrived within the stated delivery time. It was easy to put together except the scale didnt work. I contacted the company and they sent out a new scale within 1 week. The instructions were accurate for how to replace the parts. It is working fine now. I havent used the large ball yet or towed anything over 5,000 lbs. So far so good.

I updated my hitch (from 8 to 6), as the longer hitch periodically scraped when elevations changed. As with the original order, the service and receipt was efficient and fast. The shorter hitch is a better fit for a Mercedes-Sprinter 3500 van, and the various trailers used. This setup, when matched with a 2 ball (with high-weight capacity) has been fantastic. The longer hitch would be more appropriate for a 4-wheel drive truck, with higher ground clearance.

I purchased a Weigh-Safe weight distributing hitch for towing a 35 ft trailer. Installation was easy with the included instructions. My trailer towed smoothly and without swaying. I have since purchased additional products that adapt to the drop down hitch for towing additional equipment that don’t require weight distribution. Overall Weigh-Safe makes a very high quality and heavy duty product. Customer service was very friendly and helpful when I called to get some additional information. I highly recommended this company.

I called Weigh Safe twice before placing the order and they were very helpful and extremely friendly without pressuring to make a sale. Strictly friendly, professional, and informational. The quality of the hitch is second to none. Built with very heavy solid steel, and powered coated for a clean beautiful finish. The integrated scale and instructional information including videos provides a very good degree of comfort to know you are towing as safely as possible within the constraints of your rig and trailer. I also ordered a hitch pin lock and Adjustable Trailer Coupler Lock. The keys for the hitch, hitch pin lock, and trailer coupler lock all came keyed to the same key without me even making the request. I received a coupon code for 10% off for signing up to their news letter. I was unable to get the coupon for 10% off to work with an online purchase, but a single phone call to weigh safe resolved that quickly. The hitch was a little pricey, but I think worth it for the safest tow possible.

I was looking for a quality drop hitch to pull my enclosed trailer with. What is in it at any given time changes. I like the that the Weigh Safe Hitch comes with a tongue weight measuring feature which lets me know if I need to adjust the load to take weight off of the tongue. The product is made of high quality material, easy to use, and came packaged very nicely. My order was filled quickly and the product arrived in the amount of time specified. Phoned in to place my order to assure that all the locks would have matching keys. Unfortunately, when I received the hitch the keys were different on the locks. Not a huge deal, but really disappointed since I was assured they would be keyed alike. To their credit, replacements were sent and I received them in three days, so all was made right.The weigh safe hitch has been great. Its light weight, easy to install and remove. The scale is definitely a plus and provides assurance you understand your towing configuration. Love it!

Absolutely fantastic product, I have a 2020 Tacoma that I am hauling a 2021 Kodiak Cub, Before installing the WeighSafe my truck squatted hard and really pushed the front end around when braking and going downhill. This Balanced out the truck and trailer very well, and the install only took about 30 minutes! I would recommend this to anyone towing that is willing to spend the money! IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Coming from a Curt TruTrak this Weigh Safe is fantastic. Much more stout than the Curt and has solved the porpoising issue I was having. Very easy to set up and hitching/unhitching is a breeze.

My weigh safe trailer hitch is working perfectly. It also looks very nice on my new Ford F150 truck. I recently hauled 2 tons of landscaping stone and knowing the tongue weight before moving was very reassuring. My only criticism was the lag time between ordering my weigh safe hitch and receiving the hitch. But maybe this is understandable given the COVID pandemic.

This is a great hitch that is well designed, looks great, and very robust. I trust is fully. I am a bit disappointed that even just a short time in the bed of my truck with bed liner, and only a few uses of the hitch (i have the all stainless model), how the finish has worn on the brushed stainless, as well as, after just one use of the ball that the shiny appearance is gone and I can see the submetal below. The ball is a bronze color.... The website is well designed, customer support was great, and I got what I ordered. I highly recommend this hitch! It is a superior hitch compared to others.

Weigh-safe has both a great product and great customer service. I originally ordered the Weigh Safe 180° Hitch but decided to change to the Cerakote Black Weigh Safe 180° Hitch. Customer service was great and helped to cancel and reorder the right hitch. It took a while to receive the hitch (was back-ordered) but was well worth the wait! Its solid and looks amazing in my truck. I would recommend it to anyone. You can carry money, your gun, or any valuable documents and have no worries. Its securely attached to the truck by 2 screws that are place from inside the safe so nobody has access to the screws to open them. However, it takes most of the space of the console and there wouldnt be any room for other stuff.

This is a quality product. I needed the hitch for a 3 receiver and this hitch had more towing and hitch capacity than any steel unit I looked at without load levelers. I opted out of the one with the scale on it because I felt that was a little gimmicky and went with the straight Weigh Safe 180. The craftsmanship and build quality is first rate on these hitches and its something you dont mind having hanging off the back of your truck when youre not towing. Highly recommended and Id buy another one if needed.

I like the added safety built into the black 8” drop hitch I bought and knowing that I’ve positioned things properly on my trailer. With a tractor on an aluminum trailer, guessing the tongue weight was unsettling. I really like that the hitch can be turned around when not in use, saves knees and helps my truck fit in the garage. Another Impressive product!! We just started using our 2nd WeighSafe product, this time a weight distribution hitch for our 10,000lb boat. Absolutely incredible design and an app for my phone that does all the calculations to make sure my load is perfectly level and evenly distributed. I’ll add pictures below!!! Amazing!We love our Weigh Safe Goodneck ball!! We are able to get the info we need to safely load the trailer and not overload the truck!!One example, we were moving sod and the combined trailer and sod was going to weigh 20,000 lbs. We need to have 10% load on the truck, so around 2,000 lbs. We were able to adjust the position of the sod as we loaded it to make sure we weren’t adding to much weight to the truck. I took photos as we loaded and adjusted each pallet of sod and we ended up right at 1,900 lbs in the bed.Thank you weigh safe!! Hitch is the best I have used. We haul a 34 7000lbs travel trailer behind a crew cab Ram 2500 diesel 4x4. Setup was easy. Very little wiggle when big trucks pass us by. No tail wiggle at 65mph. Truck and camper are 100% level. Very nice setup and I have no problems recommending EVERYONE spend the extra money to get the weight distribution correct with their rigs. Last cat scale had the front and rear truck axles within 40lbs of each other.

This is the best hitch I have ever scene - I need a good hitch, someone stole an expensive hitch off my truck a while back, but there not getting this one! I love the multiple locks all keyed to one key. It is a very versatile hitch. I like how you can flip it around when not in use. And as a bonus - I have a great looking truck and this chrome hitch looks great on it. I am always showing it off, my wife thinks I am crazy.

Their customer service is non-existent. Cannot get in touch with them and they do not answer emails, etc. BUY an equalizer. They take care of their customers. The we reached out to you was simply a stamped response. In reality they provided nothing that was a resolution.

Had a question for customer support. They confirmed that items purchased on the same order get keyed the same. The order arrived ahead of schedule. I bought the adjustable aluminum 4 drop. Looking at how it is built, it is overkill for anything I might tow with my vehicle. I dont like buying anything twice, and with this hitch, I wont have to upgrade any time soon.

These are amazing hitches. I have two of them -- one for each of my trucks. Being able to accurate see the tongue weight is extremely helpful; otherwise, you are simply guessing. The hitches have worked perfectly. I always get asked where I got them.

I ordered the weigh safe product to be certain my tongue weight was in specs, however I inadvertently ordered the wrong size drawbar. I contacted Weigh Safe and was able to exchange it for the right size. I was also very impressed with the quality in design and construction of the product.

Great load distributing hitch! Allows you to get your trailer load balanced and see that youre in your safe zone for your hitch weight! Easy adjustments to the hitch itself, then attach the bars. The bars and hitch level the trailer with the truck and its easy! We tow a Rockwood GeoPro 19FBS with a Nissan Frontier with no sway except for an occasional Big Rig when passing. Even then, very minor wind push and the trailer is as steady as a rock! Love the hitch!!!

Very sturdy hitch unfortunately it requires way too much he man strength to use it, the torsion bars are impossible to move without the assistance of the Incredible Hulk. Customer service was pleasant but never did adequately address some set up questions. Gave up on tow behind trailers and went to a 5th wheel.

Excellent service, spoke with engineer who answered all my questions before I purchased. I tow a heavy trailer with a lot of tongue weight, knowing that i need to load even more weight behind the trailer axles to achieve the optimal tongue weight as well as the forward distributed weight which helped level out the truck gave me piece of mind towing across country. I have recommended this setup to all my friends and family! Easily makes minor adjustments, and I love the fact that I can lower my tail gate while connected as well!

Mostly like the hitch. There is a lot of rattling in the hitch, mostly around the receiver. All hitches have this issue, but typically can use an anti-rattle device. The way this hitch fits into the receiver, there isn’t enough space to add this type of device, using either hole position. Other than this issue, seems to work great.

I own 2 products from Weigh Safe. The first was a drop hitch with the scale. The hitch is well built. It is a great comfort knowing the tough weight on the trailer. Recently I bought a new camp trailer and needed an equalizer hitch. I was excited to see that Weigh Safe had an equalizer hitch. I use this on 2 different trucks and switching between the trucks is easy to do. Great quality products. I would recommend this product.

I purchased the 8” drop (without scales) unit with matching lock pin. The unit is nice, heavy and well made in my opinion. The negatives are that the unit rattles like crazy without a trailer connected so I remove it and store it in the cab. It’s a large device and takes up a lot of floor space while not in use. The matching locking pin is cumbersome to install and remove as the lock function is the bearings inside the lock. There is no master spline and the lock rotates on the pin. Whether removing or installing, you feel like you need a third hand. Two that can hold the pin and lock so they do not rotate while the third hand rotates the key to engage / disengage the lock. You must be sure that the bearings are engage to lock or the lock will fall off the pin. If you are lucky (like I was) the lock will be cradled in the chain hook eyelet and the weight of the trailer holding the hitch pin in place. My trailer did not come loose but very well could have.

USA Made Product. Couldnt be happier with the quality of workmanship and the grade of materials used. Sounds like they have a pretty good warranty also. Though Ive never had to use it. I recently picked up an 8 drop bracket for my 6 drop hitch. Now I can use a single hitch on both my SUV and Work Truck.

Good price and great product. Bought the 180 hitch with the 2 and 2 5/15 inch ball and full stainless. So far have hitched up and towed a dump trailer with stone and my land scape trailer as well. Has held up great so far and for the price, you cant find it better anywhere else

I ordered a hitch with two balls and several extra pins for the trailers, all keyed the same. I love having the scale there to show me the tongue weight amd I’ve loved having stuff locked up without messing with tons of keys. 1/3 of the miles on my truck are towing miles and this new hitch has performed well for all of them.

Weigh Safe LLC is a top notch company! Excellent products and simply amazing customer service! I live in the area and they replaced the scale dial in my hitch in about 15 minutes. Everyone at their office was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Overall I am pleased with Weigh Safes distribution hitch. My one gripe at this time is the poor quality of connecting hardware. All of the washers have had to be replaced due to them expanding when the bolts are torqued to spec. Being able to open the tailgate is a nice bonus with this hitch.

I have had my Weigh Safe toungue-weight hitch system for several months now. All of the Weigh Safe product is very high quality and actually looks impressive when installed on my truck. I REALLY like the piece of mind it gives me to know that I have my trailer loaded with the proper weight distribution. After several cycle of loading my Kubota LX2610 on my flatbed hitch-mount trailer I get used to where on the trailer it should be located for proper weight distribution. However I frequently move that equipment with various attachments installed so that changes everything each time I change the configuration. An excellent company that will explain the importance of trailer towing and safety with out talking over your head. They explain it well on their site, in their news letter and they have many great videos that helped me decide which hitch to buy for a tall F350. I needed to figure out my hitch drop to also pul some smaller trailers

All is Well. I thought I had a Issue, But there Great Customer Service Handled it. I thought there was a Spring messed up in the end of the Pin for Flipping the Ball. As it turned out it was just some Milling Shavings in the hole, Not a Spring. I pulled it out and All is Well. Thanks
