Must be a bunch of incompetent and lazy employees working here! My finance went in and this employee behind the counter said he didnt know how to change a car battery and then the employee blamed it on Covid that he couldnt do it when there are other places that will, so therefore he was bsing. He seemed to have no idea what to do and plus they gave my finance the wrong battery for her car!!! So she had to go back and return it! No help or assistance with the battery when she was holding this heavy thing in line and she is pregnant too! A nice customer in line helped my finance out and put the battery on the counter and also had negative things to say about the service at this location and made sure all the employees heard it. Dont bother with these clowns!

Such a welcoming and helpful corporation! I was greeted by a woman named Kayla M. who instantly helped me answer every question i needed that i’ve had hard times with at other locations. She was able to ask for the right help i needed and helped me figure out more information about oils and what kind of battery and brake help i needed for my car and was so sweet the whole time actually giving positive effort! Great place to come back to if you need straight up right answers n great customer service with welcoming people that have you out the store in no time!

Be wary of who you have help you. Some of their staff is knowledgeable and knows what you need. The others are just salespersons who think they can pull a quick one at the register, or they just dont care.

Came in on a rainy afternoon, looking to replace a damaged wiper blade on my car, which apparently requires an uncommon style that oil shops don’t stock. Kayla promptly greeted me when I walked in, and quickly looked up and located the blades. During check out, she asked if I needed help installing them, even as the rain continued to pelt the store window. She had them mounted in a fraction of the time it would have taken me to just remove the old ones, and did it with a smile, despite the weather. Blades are performing beautifully, and it’s a treat to see clearly with each swipe! - Thanks Kayla!!

I was in the other day and Kayla was so helpful and friendly from the moment I walked in. I had no idea what I was doing and she answered all of my questions without hesitation. She also helped me get my new wipers installed it was nice having such great costumer service :)

The manager today was amazing / she was extremely busy and managed her duties well. My son bought a battery about 6 months ago and it failed, ofcourse we couldnt find the reciept. She quickly delegated someone to go out and test the battery and soon after they dertimed it was bad. She found our record of purchase it was under my sons number after I told her it was under my number which delayed the process. ( my bad). She attempted to go out there and change it, I told her let us do it, so my son could get a little experience on changing a battery. The best part of this experience was everything went well from the drive to the store to moment we got home with a brand new car battery for FREE. Thank you autozone, for such great customer service!

My car would not start in the morning for work and I knew it was the battery. I went to a couple places to find a new battery and to find someone that could install it, but every place was too busy. I went to auto zone and the young lady helped me find the best battery for my car and she installed it so quickly ! I was out of there in less than 20 minutes! Great service, I will be going back for any troubles my car might have in the future.

The lockport store was great. Paige knew her stuff I was in and out quick. The romeoville store can get bit. trying to charge me $25 more for the same part. Wont be going to the romeoville store again!!!!!!!

The customer service here is great! Brian and his co worker are very kind. But Brian went above and beyond. He offered to put my windshield wipers as it was snowing.

I been in that place for more than 10 years and with the stuff they have at these time they gonna loose all the good costumers.These people dont even look harder for your parts Save your self time and money go to another car parts store we have another 3 more near by also i reported to the manager about it and still worse every time i go .

Some of the staff is not so bright. Maybe theyre just learning or theyre just working a job. Its nice to go into a place and have someone that has someone mechanical knowledge to help you out. The rewards program here sucks. It has time limits and all that good stuff. Basically some of the Duralast Parts have lifetime warranties but they dont last see you constantly changing them. If youre in an emergency they can help you out in a pinch with late hours. I miss the old days of having a parts store that had knowledgement to help you out

I called ahead of traveling to the store to ensure that they had the headlights in stock that I needed. I spoke with Andrew who was an absolute delight to talk with. He was more than helpful, had a wonderful and energetic attitude and actually made me feel like a valued customer.Upon arriving, Trish helped me locate the exact bulbs that I needed and was incredibly patient with my questions. She explained all of my options and gave me her recommendation. When I asked if she could help me to install them, she didnt hesitate to help.I have lived in California the last seven years and am in the Lockport, IL area to help my grandmother out for a few days. One of the items to be taken care of were changing her headlights. I am NOT a car person so I am very grateful for the helpfulness of the staff at this AutoZone location. Overall, my experiences at AutoZones in CA have been fairly positive, but my interactions with the staff at this location was the best encounter Ive had yet.I highly recommend going to Autozone for your car needs and concerns - especially THIS location! They will be more than happy to help you and they truly enjoy their jobs while valuing their customers.Trish is awesome and deserves a raise as she goes above and beyond! :)

They changed a battery for my wife while I was at work last week in a pinch. Answered all of her questions and it she said it was all done within 15 minutes. The young guy that helped her was named Dave.

The manager was not attentive and treated my questions like they were a bother. She also was sarcastic and snotty when I complained. You know, like when people say, Have a nice day and you know they mean anything but that. A very unpleasant experience.

Super helpful. Got the right rentals tools to replace ignition cylinder, flawless in all their moves.
