I like to shop locally owned. GO is a clean store with good prices, (except dog food) has good product, and is well stocked. However, the checkers are slow and employees are not very friendly.

Great place and clean. Surprisingly nice produce.They seem to be a bit bigger in size compared to the Santa Maria one, so it appears they can leave product on shelves longer with not as much need for fast turn over rate, still great deals here, just less than the Santa Maria one.

I came in to use the restroom but as I walked through the store, I noticed that it is very spacious, tidy and clean. Even the bathroom is clean. Its nice to be able to use the restroom and not be grossed out.

The selection varies of course, but always good prices and friendly service.

Bad customer servic...bought some stinky shrimp and rock fish last week and cooked them and almost threw up eating it....today I spoke to manager and she said we need the receipt to give credit but unfortunately that went into the trash last Friday. Make sure to keep your receipt and dont buy meat or fish. The sad part us is that we spend a lot of money there. 😡

Hit or miss selections, but thats part of their niche. Usually find what I need or reasonable substitute.Some of the new staff members need more experience, but the old timers are fabulous.

By far my favorite grocery store! They have a wide selection of organic products along with unique items I wouldn’t normally seek out (because they would be way too expensive at any other store). There are always interesting “finds” in the wine selection too which are fun to discover. Everyone there is super friendly and the place is sparkling clean. There’s almost never a reason to shop anywhere else, and when I do, it’s painful in comparison.

I can always find the things I need at a good price. Employees are friendly and helpful. I never wait in line for very long. The set up of the store is excellent, and provides for easy shopping while maintaining social distancing. I only go to this store for my groceries.

Good selection, friendly staff, and excellent prices!

A lot of different products to choose from. Wont go back there until Covid is over, they do not abide by Any of the safety protocols it was so crowded you could not walk past anyone with almost touching them. Some people were not wearing masks at all,and a lot of them word improperly. Even some employees had it pulled down covering their chin in the bottom half of their mouth only. Dont think anything was sanitized here. The prices arent good enough to get the Covid die.

Its been a nice place to stop for griceries, as we come into town to visit the parents....right on the boulevard. Hubby likes to check out their good-sized wine selections, hunting for some deals.

I used to like going here but some of their employees have completely ruined my experience. Olivia is extremely rude and gives grocery outlet a terrible reputation. Another cashier who I don’t remember her name but she is short and has black hair seemed to have an attitude and seemed very annoyed for no reason. Definitely not coming back to grocery outlet anymore.

Ive done a lot of shopping in grocery stores however in my opinion this Grocery Outlet is one of the most Cleanest & well organized Grocery stores I think Ive ever been in. And in my Opinion Has A lot to say About The Lompoc Stores Management Team, & In My Belief is fully OnPoint on Training their Employees. For Example I Wanted To Pay A Complement About The Stores appearance and its cleanliness and how organized it was was clearly obvious that everyone has been taking pride in their work, So I felt it necessary to say something in at least To pay a compliment, In An Effort show of gratitude for their efforts because its nice to be in a clean organized grocery store in my opinion, so I tell the employee which I believe at the moment is just someone working hard and clearly working hard in Oregon is it organized in the shelving and I make mention of that to her that the store looks really good so I had said that the employees you guys have been doing a great job keeping up on the stores parents decorations and everything it just looks really good she said thank you however she was Management.😄😊 so I think that reflects on the management team that everyone knows a great leader is one who leads by example and what more example do you need or want to get behind then someone who leads by example anyways good job Grocery Outlet you are The Bargain Market keep up the good work

I love trying the organic and alternative choices available here. The Lompoc location needs a little upkeep though. Sometimes it’s funny to see what didn’t sell at the regular grocery store.

Prices are beyond amazing and staff quite friendly. They are; however, limited on merchandise. For instance, I was only able to find one milk-based coffee creamer, but the rest of the creamers were almond based.

This Grocery store is awesome!!!! The owners do so much for our community and are very nice people. The employees are very helpful also. I totally recommend this store!

I want to say thank you to the bargain market. I went in there today to see about toilet paper they were sold out. As I walked through the store I can hear the employees say over and over to customers we are trying to stock as fast as they could and do everything correctly. The employees kept there cool even though I could tell they were stressed. Again you guys are doing an awesome even during all the craziness and uncertainty

Employee who was asked for ADA assist ignored me, ran by, Im on break. Could have directed request to on duty employee but didnt. Not a positive experience.

This place always has something that surprises me and I end up leaving with more then I planned on. Its always well stocked with items but it cant get a little long of a wait at the register. They try to do a good job and call in when they need help on the lines. Give this place a shot, I didnt look dirty and was organized well, just keep an eye on the expiration dates.

GO stretches our food budget hands down. Not everything is actually less than the major grocery stores though so know what youre buying.Our savings cine buying clearance items. Today I found 7oz packages of apple pie Oreos at 5 for 97¢. How can you not buy some? We find such deals often as long as we shop mid-week and never weekends.Speaking of weekends, my experience shows prices can actually be higher on busy times such as weekends. You also rarely find clearance items on weekends. Not a criticism but an observation, even on weekends prices are generally far better than everywhere else in town.Store is always clean, well stocked. The employees are SUPER - friendly and helpful.Oh, produce is good for a smaller subset of your typical larger chain grocery stores.Best way Ive found to shop here is to jot have a plan. Figure out the weeks food on the fly based in what is in the store that day.

Great prices and always find an interesting offerings

I like the prices you can find here, but I find my food expires quicker than other grocery stores. Also, its frustrating when you cant find EVERYTHING on your list.. it makes my shopping longer, to have to go to another grocery store in search of the few things that GO didnt have. So I choose not to shop here anymore because I like to get in, buy everything on my list and go home.

Chase bank card holders will have trouble there. Their machines cant read the cards properly. And they will be treated rudely and embarrassed for not having enough funds, even if they do, especially by Olivia and another girl there.Maybe the store should make sure all bank cards are accepted properly, as advertised.Update: the chip that cant be read most of the time, Tiana showed me how to avoid that hassle by just tapping my card on the reader. It works every time!

I used to like Grocery Outlet until last week when I had a very bad experience. They had a new cashier..otherwise I am not sure it would have happened. I was accused of stealing.I had gone through the line once and had a sack of items when I realized I had forgotten something. Going back through another line, they demanded to see my receipt and when I told them I did not have one...all hell broke loose and t he accusations began to fly. Luckily my first cashier remembered me and said kit was fine. But I never received an apology and the managers neglected to return my calls. I will never go back.

I shop here fairly frequently. There are lots of excellent deals on groceries (you will save money shopping here). The staff here are both knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Youll also discover that there are many different things to choose from, and the items here are of excellent quality.

Great place to get variety of low cost items. Grocery Outlet gets lower cost items because of some defect - never due to product quality, usually due to package or labeling mistake. Because of that you can get unusual items at a discounted rate. And when you see something you like, get a few because it will not be permanent. Which is what most people complain about (getting used to something and then its gone). But this also gives the consumer a chance to explore food options not usually affordable or available. So your always able to try a variety of unusual products. At least unusual for me.This family run store hand picks their staff. They have put a good team together to always keep the store stocked and clean, with friendly staff always ready to help.Givem a try. You might just find a diamond in the rough. They certainly are a nice addition to the grocery markets in town.Oh yea, and tell them Johnny D sent you and get 20% off your next purchase - not really.... but maybe someday someone might consider it.

I lost my phone just last year at a bigger grocery store and they said it is probably gone..what difference! Yes local always!...Lucky we did!

This place has sold me old rejected produce over and over again. This time it was sour fermented orange juice that made the same noise you get opening a coke. It was a square carton that has blowted to a round box. Told the store and they said they knew about it but very offered anything, i had to call. I tried to return it and they wanted a receipt, not going to go digging for it. Cant use store credit as I wont be going there anymore. The sale rejected food that other store couldnt move. Stay far away.

No more masks.yes Im well aware that you required masks however every time I have to wear a mask in a store I have a panic attack which nobody seems to care about. Are you going to pay my bill when I have to go to ER because I cant breathe already know the answer to that is no.Its so frustrating because I have asthma and I have claustrophobia but nobody takes that into account so I get to suffer. Its a recommendation not a law. If I were sick I would not be coming in. To any store. I still use my common sense.I stay home when Im sick and I wash my hands when I need to. Why dont those rules still apply? This has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

Love the Grocery Outlet. There are brand name items at significantly reduced prices every day! We shop there at least once weekly, and other stores only if G.O. doesnt have the needed specialty item.

They have a problem with their debit card machine they did not fix yet . Food is close to its expiration date or expired ..I have caught more than 50 cashier errors to their favor...some of the cashiers including some managers are unfriendly and borderline rude..

Grocery Outlet is a very welcomed addition to the southern Lompoc area. This store and staff are good, as are their prices; but not their availability.That is both its pro and a con of the little store . And they dont even try to hide that fact. I also like that the store has a little section to it thats always constantly changing, depending on the theme and time of the year. It always gives me a little curiosity pick-me-up of what am going to see over in this section today??

Cheap prices, random but nice variety of high-end products. Organic, natural, and a lot of conventional as well.

I love this location. We always find extra items to buy. Any employee we ask for help has been more than friendly. They seem to go out of there way to help us. I find some of the prices incredible! We have to drive a little extra to get to you, but its definitely worth it. Keep up the great work.

Have been to a number of Grocery Outlets, this is by far the best. This young couple have taken what looked like a failing store and turned it into one of the best run stores in town, bar none. It is a pleasure watching them work. Great store, extremely clean, well managed, great staff, great product. Love going there, even though it is on the opposite side of town.

I like to pop in to the Grocery Outlet to buy organic fruits and bananas. Not all of their fruit is organic but all appears to be high quality. It is a good local grocery store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are good and just about anything you need is in stock. A large convient free parking lot is available. Stop in and enjoy a local friendly experience shopping.

In this store, you never know what you are going to get. One week they carry an item & the next, its gone & they dont know when or if theyll get it in again. They do have good prices but some things youll pay more for so its a good idea to know the usual prices for things at your favorite store. The manager was very rude to me a few times.

I am reasonably new to shopping at the Grocery Outlet. Everyone has been courteous and helpful. The prices are very good. I paid a little more for my phone charger and cord at Grocery Outlet than the price for the similar item at the Family Dollar stores. I like the better quality so the small price difference is well worth it. Give the Grocery Outlet a try for groceries and produce I think you may like the experienve.

Their produce at Grocery Outlet is as rotten as their customer service. During my last visit there I had purchased over $60.00 worth of food items and also pre- ordered a TO GO bag. They have the TO GO bags stored in the back of the store so as I am getting rung up for my items that I already had in my cart I asked checker #107 if she charged me for all my items INCLUDING the TO GO bag, her response was yes I got everything, ok awesome so far so good. .. Well come to find out checker #107 had NOT charged me for the TO GO bag. I was rudely approached by a disgruntled old lady in my face telling me theres no way I was charged for the TO GO bag as if I was suppose to NOT believe checker #107 after I specifically asked her if I had been charged. Ok no problem I then asked to pay for the TO GO bag and thats where the beginning of the end of EVER shopping with GROCERY OUTLET IN LOMPOC started. Kari who is an employee there screams across the store at me to get cash back or write a check for the TO GO items. I was very confused considering they had just charged my debit card the $60.00 + for other food items I purchased. Kari still screaming says they cant charge my debit card due TO the inaccuracy of items being rung up unless I gave them cash or wrote a check. Funny how they have no problem charging my card for the hundreds of dollars we spend there a month and cant figure out how to accurately enter TO GO items. So needless to say as a result of terrible customer service and ultimately being blamed AND YELLED at for their INABILITY TO ACCURATELY charge me for items in THEIR system I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY AT GROCERY OUTLET IN LOMPOC AGAIN. Save yourself the trouble and DONT waste your time or your HARD earned money here. Even After this horrible experience I have yet to receive an apology of any kind what so ever from them. They also deleted a comment from other customers indicating how RUDE the employees are there. Apparently they are not big on customer service there. One thing they are great at is putting on a fake face to the community unfortunately. They need to be exposed as much as possible for NOT being who they portray themselves to be. SAD BUT TRUE!
