Worst transmission place in Orlando area . They replaced clutch slave cylinder and transmission gear box in manual transmission in under 200 miles of driving it 1 st gear 3rd gear and 5th gear dont work at all and will not honor the year guarantee . They wont even pull the training to see what problem is

Transco and Dominic are the best in Central Florida for transmission work. They are honest and offer higher quality work for lower prices than anyone in the business. Their customer service is fantastic and they stand behind their work. If something is not quite right, they will keep working and making adjustments until the issue is fully resolved.

About 10 years ago I had shattered my planetary gears and torque converter. That was after consistantly towing either a 3500 lb cleaning rig or my 3000 lb bass boat. The damage I am sure took place during my stay in the mountains in TN during a Bassmater Open to where I had to pull it up several steep grades everyday for about 10 days and when I got back to Florida thankfully it happened here and not there it went. So I had it towed to Aamco Transmissions and was told it needed a whole new transmission as they told me it was FUBAR they said it would be around 4k to replace and if I had the title to the truck they would hold it until it was paid off. So I had the tow truck load it up and drop it off at my house, I got a bad vibe from that place the minute I walked in. I was fishing a Friday night tournament and my buddy Derek from Nations trucks told me about Dominic and Transco Transmissions. I took my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 to Transco it had roughly 90,000 miles on it now has 215,000 miles and it has pulled that same cleaning rig for the last decade without having a single issue. Dominic was straight up and honest gave me a reasonable price and I got a good vibe right off the get-go from that place. So I fully trust them with my Transmissions all the time.

Transco performed an excellent job on my vehicles (2005 Acura RSX) clutch replacement. I have not used an unknown auto repair shop in quite some time, but I was referred to Transco by Dave Griffin (a respected Honda/Acura specialist) and decided to give them a shot.1) My vehicles clutch/shifting feels like a new car again! Excellent repair.2) Quoted price for parts and labor was the same price at completion. No hidden shop fees or disposal fees like so many other shops.3) Transco pricing is very reasonable. 4 quotes prior to deciding to go with Transco, they had the best price in town. The shop is not fancy, but is a solid serious repair shop. Ill take better pricing and quality any day rather than colorful fancy shops.4) No surprises were discovered during the repair, no additional costs.5) Transco performed on schedule and without issue. I dropped off the vehicle on a Thursday, picked it up Saturday morning.6) Domanick (customer manager) kept me informed with progress and answered all my various calls with questions prior to agreeing to the repair.7) Transco used quality parts (Luk clutch kit in my case, OEM).8) Domanick showed me the original clutch and bearings in case I had any questions. That was thoughtful of him, was very obvious why I needed to replace.I plan on using Transco again in the future for any transmission related repairs, Im a satisfied customer.Hopefully this review helps, and Good luck on your shop research and repairs!

Terrible I had a rebuilt Tranny put in 2 months ago recurring problems every two weeks. They refuse to honor my 12 month warranty. I was told by another garage I need to replace the tranny again. When I confronted Gary the owner he laughed at me. I requested a refund of the $1450 cash that they were paid. This was a shoddy job and they refuse to admit that they were at fault!!! Beware, and dont believe any warranties they offer. They cancel them at will!!!

So I went to Transco on the advice of a friend that works at my shop. We had used them before and my friend said he worked there and they where good guys. So I gave them my car and was told for 600.00 dollars they could repair it. And becouse of where I worked I was getting a deal. I happily paid up front and left the car. A few days later I was called to pick it up I was ecstatic to say the least. After a long B.S story from Dominick about how I needed motor work for it to preform correctly? So I drove it like a baby for a week and it was leaking, dripping everywhere I went. I took the car back on 4 separate occasions to be fixed! It NEVER HAPPENED!!! After seven months it got way worse I took it back to them hoping for better outcome? Well I was told by Dominick it had more issues and had to be totally rebuilt again. And they would do it for 1100.00 I paid becouse of the advise from my friend that knew them. Hoping if they did all the work it would be correct this time? NOT Even Close!! Went back a few more times for them to blame my motor again? So I stripped out the motor painted the engine compartment and installed a fresh new motor . Their work was garbage to say the least. My wife called Dominick and he said let me see what I can do and call you back? He never did! So my wife called again and another guy nice at least said bring it in tomorrow morning. We did and asked for the car to not sit under there trees . They called and said it needs to be rebuilt again ? And it was full price? I dont understand how they can treat someone from a shop that helps them this way? If this is how they treat their BUDDIES I would hate to see how they treat people of the street? I bet way worse! And when I picked up my keys Dominick the so called manager would not even look up at me? I put a grand total of 4693 miles on the car with at least 8 times going back to them with leaks, slipping issues and to my surprise the so called warranty they give is 12 thousand miles or one year. Even with it being there over and over and never being fixed they will not honor their work. And by the way Dominick left my car outside under the trees just like I asked not to happen. He would not even look up at me when I picked up my keys and car? I really feel like a buddy ?! So to end this my best advice is burn your money or wipe your butt with it it will serve you better than this establishment. Crappy service, work, warranties all a joke ! Stay away

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This place takes forever to work on your car.1) After 2 weeks of dropping my car here at Transco Transmissions, they have not even started working on it. I talked to Domenick, the Manager, he keep giving me false promises. I had to call them to ask what is the status of my car repairs? Domenick, the manager would give me excuses such as:Sorry but my mechanic didnt come to work this week. The thing is I need a car to go to work otherwise I would lose my job.2)After weeks and after it seems that they would finally start working on my car, they took the transmission out of the car and left it out for days. I talked to Domenick, I asked him Why is the transmission out of the car now, but no body is working on it? Domenick responded Sorry, but I dont have a mechanic available to work on your transmission.3)Not only It took them longer than expected, but the repairs ended up costing more than what was originally quoted.Very unprofessional, very unreliable service and more expensive at the end. My pain & suffering is your gain. Please go somewhere else more reliable or at least more professional. Please remember cheap things are too good to be true.
